1845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Preventing dissent - How Britain’s new police state will radicalise us all on: February 16, 2015, 07:34:10 AM
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one in the world who thinks, "why don't folks chill out and play some video games?"

LOL believe me I'm exactly the same way, the problem is these pretentious assholes have started trying to mess with our games now too.

Quote
Teachers in an area of London who have received recent Prevent training in preparation for the new law described the training as “very basic and vague.” One teacher told me on condition of anonymity that the criteria that was used to identify a pupil who might be “vulnerable” to extremism included watching out for issues like “social alienation, being withdrawn, or introspective,” as well as other issues like “abrupt changes in appearance.”

That's baffling because I'm pretty sure that describes about 50% of fucking students who hate going to school or find it incredibly boring, the problem here is, if you're not interested in school and your classmates are a bunch of assholes, you aren't going to want to interact. That's just normal because you're not there by choice and even if by some miracle you do like school and you're intelligent you're going to realise how full of shit the teachers are and that the majority of students you're forced to hang out with are either a bunch of elitist socialites or violent thugs and you're always stuck with a small group that's niether, inbetween these two groups and basically have to survive without drastically pissing off either one of them.

Even I thought that Stephan Molyneux might have been taking it a bit too much to the crazy level by suggesting that western countries were acting like the soviet union by saying anybody who criticises and doesn't like the current government system has a mental health problem but they genuinely seem ready to treat any discontent or even critical thinking as a criminal act, at least as far as mainstream politics is concerned anyway.

1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STAHP USING ONLINE EXCHANGES/WALLETS on: February 15, 2015, 07:35:22 PM
I know it's a piss take, but we have to accept that fact that no matter how much information we give, stupid people are going to be stupid. Every time I hear someone bitching about losing all their coins or it getting hacked it almost always involves an online wallet/exchange wallet or something they regularly used that has an internet connection.
1848  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where are the trustless or mostly trustless exchanges? on: February 15, 2015, 04:55:28 PM
You cannot have a trustless exchange for paper based currencies.

Sounds to me like she's too easily affected by that shit to be honest and needs to find another outlet, like I said, get her on a different game, bet she'd like Bejeweled or something lol Tongue plenty of flashing colours and stuff in that game and it only costs you something once. Oh and don't let people tell you your daughter can't play more mature games either, I was about 10 - 12 when I started playing games like Starcraft and Command and Conquer as long as they realise it isn't real and so on they'll be fine.
1850  Other / Archival / Re: LPS pawprint on: February 15, 2015, 12:22:11 AM
You do realise that's exactly what their fucking plan is to get you to buy more of the damn things right? You should tell your daughter about micro-payment gaming and then find her a fun game that isn't based on those kind of stupid mechanics.
1851  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 28 Reasons I’m DONE Talking To Most Of My Conservative Friends And Family Member on: February 15, 2015, 12:11:38 AM
In fairness, this kind of thing is precisely why I hand out with Anarchists and Libertarians now, I get into too many fights with dickheads elsewhere and still do Tongue

I have no problem with anyone believing in something if it's peaceful and harmless but if you believe in opression and violence towards people just because then we have a problem -_-
1852  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 28 Reasons I’m DONE Talking To Most Of My Conservative Friends And Family Member on: February 14, 2015, 10:19:11 PM
Thanks for reinforcing the stereotype some of you by responding with condascending nonensical bullshit.

"Micro-aggression"...

 Wink

I'm not micro-aggressive towards religious fanatics and social conservatives, I'm perfectly open about how much I dislike them lol Tongue

1853  Economy / Economics / Re: Anybody else notice trading volume is up by 7x for the last 30 days? on: February 14, 2015, 09:25:21 PM
I didn't notice that either, I hope it means there's a big amount of money moving into the market, should be very interesting.

How the fuck is this thread going still? Also I only glanced over this stupid argument, but both genders stereotype and discriminate equally against each other and as somebody who actually has a penis, women don't know a thing about misandry especially in regards to the way men are represented in media, you guys think you're the only ones who are discriminated against? Well I'm afraid you're naive and ignorant, I'm for equal rights and equal treatment, I'm not however for a Matriarchy or a Patriarchy and anyone who actually claims to care about equal rights should be too.

Enjoy this video that perfectly details on the perspective of being a white male in western society: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x64cy3Bcr98
1856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York City Councilman Supports Paying Fines in Bitcoin on: February 14, 2015, 01:54:22 PM
I just generally don't like the idea of a government like that being able to survive at all, giving Bitcoin for fines would enable them to go around harassing people Tongue
1857  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 22 Veterans Every Day on: February 14, 2015, 11:23:44 AM
If you want to stop creating so many veterans with PTSD then stop going to war every five seconds, it's that simple, people who rant about war and do the "Fuck yeah 'merica" bullshit likely either have never been to a battlefield or have something already wrong with them, in either case they should be ignored.
1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York City Councilman Supports Paying Fines in Bitcoin on: February 14, 2015, 09:43:41 AM
Even though I hate that idea, that's actually pretty big, too bad they haven't gotten rid of BitLicense still.

Why do you hate the idea?

That's easy, I'm an Anarchist Cheesy

1860  Other / Meta / Re: User spamming the same post on: February 14, 2015, 09:09:16 AM
Just report him, usually if it's blatant spamming then there's really no need to even create a thread, I've caught many bots and dodgy users without ever having to make a single post, they're not very subtle most of the time.
