1861  Economy / Speculation / Re: Newegg offers $100 discount if you purchase xbox one with bitcoin on: December 26, 2014, 11:43:31 PM
Xbox One Console Assassin's Creed: Unity Bundle + 12-Month Xbox Live Gold Membership + $40 Newegg Gift Card for $349.99 - $101.50 with promo code BITCOINXBOX100 with BitCoin Checkout (Must pay with BitCoins) = $248.49 + $4.99 Shipping = $253.48

This price beats all black friday deals on xbox one. Xbox live = $50, gift card = $40, two games = $40, the console nets out to be $120, cheaper than the previous gen of xbox 360...

I think newegg is longing bitcoin by running promotions like this. I believe more and more retailers, especially IT ones, will store bitcoin and invest their storage into small bitcoin start-ups.

This is great news. Using bitcoin is good fir vendors so they should be incentivising it's use. This is one of the few real examples I have seen of that happening.
1862  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 25, 2014, 03:27:02 PM
... Too bad I don't have more available fiat to buy more btc.

If you sold pretty much any time during the past year, you would have fiat to buy now.  You let your greed get the better of you and hodleded.
Nobody's fault but your own Undecided
You know his life situation very well for someone on a forum. You also have 20:20 hindsight. If you sold at a higher price then be happy, but the price falling wasn't inevitable. Like Baz luhrman said, your choices are half chance, so are everybody elses.
1863  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: xodiom cell phones - it is realiable ? on: December 25, 2014, 03:20:43 PM
Looks like it is a scam,no videos of the phone, they accept bitcoins and wire transfers which you can't chargeback...and so on..
It does look dodgy, but I see little reason why a phone can't rival the oneone without the invite crap.
1864  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - SPECIAL 1-CENT LINE for the BITCOIN BOWL | sportsbook and casino on: December 25, 2014, 03:15:26 PM
Wow, bitcasino's odds are dreadful! The others are much of a muchness.
1865  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loss 15 times at first bet until empty balance and never won. on: December 25, 2014, 03:11:46 PM
It is provably fair, but that is a nasty losing streak, I hope you weren't martingaling or that would be a bad loss.
1866  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lost all 0.4 BTC in first 3 bets. :( on: December 25, 2014, 12:04:44 AM
Yeah it was really unlikely that all of those bets would lose, but unfortunately everything is possible.
1867  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold to the moon on: December 24, 2014, 11:59:21 PM
bitcoin isn't taking over this role though is it? Even if it does have some of the same characteristics, the market size is too small in comparison with gold to make any dent in the market.

Gold has history on it's side, along with very greedy central banks constantly printing money into oblivion.
1869  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US - Cyber War W/ North Korea & Economic War W/ Russia on: December 23, 2014, 10:14:38 PM
It's a brave new world, maybe world war 3 will take place without a gun being shot!

The whole North Korea situation seems overblown, but is a sign of what could happen in the future. The Russia situation is a bit more traditional but is still America taking out an enemy without ever declaring war!

1870  Economy / Gambling / Re: NBA MVP on: December 23, 2014, 09:56:27 PM
its like half a year left isnt it?
Yes there is a very long time left before it will be decided!
1871  Economy / Speculation / Re: It only costs 100$ in electricity to mine a bitcoin??? on: December 23, 2014, 09:55:05 PM
If you build your own miner, or somehow have one for free, and you get cheap electricity, then mining makes sense at the moment (I assume your figures are somewhat close to being right). But if you were to buy mining equipment you will probably not ROI at this price, so it's a bit irrelevant!
1872  Economy / Speculation / Re: the bailouts begin.. on: December 23, 2014, 04:23:26 PM
It will make them turn to the east even more than they have been. I think they might try to start a new BRICS trade agreement, as they all seem to be getting sick of the g7 pushing them around.

It is possible that their economy collapses though, then the BRICS will know who is still boss.
1873  Economy / Gambling / Re: ***** Sports Picks for 2015 ***** on: December 23, 2014, 03:26:50 PM
But you didnt make 20 picks in any of the last three months. You are slightly ahead now but when you add in the necessary extra bets that you haven't made up until now, I question if you will be consistently profitable...

1874  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any people gambling on Just-Dice? on: December 22, 2014, 02:20:47 PM
They are clearly using a work around to allow people to bet bitcoin without betting bitcoin. At the moment it isn't taking off too much, but if other casinos have regulatory issues, just dice might be ahead of the curve.
1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST SOCCER/FOOTBALL BETS !ODDS ARE ON YOUR SIDE!!!#BEST ✔✔✔ on: December 22, 2014, 02:17:09 PM
Nice little run you are on. Do you have an overview of your bets/results and do you bet even stakes?
1876  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✔ Play funny games versus your friends (BTC LTC DOGE) on: December 22, 2014, 02:14:32 PM
Do people play games of luck online for mont against friends?
I understand poker or chess, but there are no bragging rights with games of luck..
1877  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up 10% in 24hrs WHY? One word: RUSSIA on: December 22, 2014, 02:08:33 PM
Ruble is crashing and Russians are moving into Bitcoins driving the price up .. expect a new bull market for btc starting NOW

Oh.  Interesting.  Whats your explanation for the last 10 ten percent increases over the last three months?
You act as if this is a first.  It's been going between 320 and 450 repeatedly for the last several weeks.
Cracks me up how short sighted people are.

-B-
The same happens with all financial analysis. Try always want to assign a reason for a move, whereas sometimes the market is irrational and does things without old reason.
1878  Economy / Speculation / Re: 300k Bitcoins moved in one block on: December 22, 2014, 02:04:46 PM
But unloading onto an illiquid market is stupidity.  Maybe there is something important happening in the background, like a new exchange or the etf getting prepared to trade.
1879  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there a way to create a perfect hedge in sports betting? on: December 22, 2014, 12:39:35 PM
Sometimes on betfair the market is overbroke so you could hedge perfectly. Usually it is only a very small margin and for a small amount, but it can happen.
1880  Economy / Services / Re: Cricket Predictions by SB on: December 22, 2014, 12:36:49 PM
so you will post predictions and if you miss you will not loose anything, if you win you get profit from us. GG

Aha, he is always earning, the simple trick Wink

There seem to be a lot of wannabe tipsters on here. How about you show a month of solid returns, then people might pay to follow you. Paying to gets tips from a stranger is stupid.
