1861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decoin SCAM on: December 12, 2022, 08:47:20 AM
Decoin exchange is an unpopular one, tbh i haven't heard about it before this thread, i guess it is one of the smaller and riskier cryptocurrency exchanges out there, thus i wonder why people even use them and worse why they keep their money in there with the exchange, there are bigger exchanges out there with better liquidity and volume, what exactly is the advantage of using Decoin exchange, for those who had used it before their collapse?

Having said that, this is definitely the end of them, they must have closed up when they were able to amass as much funds as they wanted. Using centralized exchanges is bad enough, but it's worse when you use small and untrusted ones and leave your funds in their platform.

Well, if it's the way you say it, it could be, but remember, we're talking about PSG, that is, one of the most millionaire clubs in the world,
Of course i am definitely aware of that, PSG are a big club that have sufficient funds to allure world class players to their team, but likewise Manchester United, the Old Trafford club also work with a big budget and i am pretty sure if Marcus Rashford is to sign a contract extension with the club, his salary/wages would be increased significantly; mind you that Ronaldo who was their highest paid player has left the team, thus they are no longer paying any player as high as they were paying the Portuguese superstar, what the club might prolly do is offer Rashford a contract as big as that, make him the highest paid player with a definite promise of regular playing time (which he can't get in Paris), all of these should definitely convince him to turn PSG down and remain in Old Trafford.
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 12, 2022, 01:08:16 AM
According to mirror.uk PSG is going for Marcus Rashford who is currently 25.
The price should not be high since his contract will expire this summer, so he has only 6 months before becoming a free agent.
Marcus Rashford leaving Manchester United for PSG seems very much unlikely, Marcus has had to deal with being a fringe player for quite some seasons now, i for one even thought he was definitely leaving Old Trafford last summer in search of regular playing time, but he stayed, i presume that decision was made after discussions with the new boss Erik Ten Hag, of which i am sure he assured him that he is a very important part of his plan, and thus far he was correct, we have seen a different Rashford this season and it can only get better. I expect him to sign a contract extension with Manchester United, more so now that Ronaldo is out of the club, more responsibilty will fall on his shoulder and he should do well to be their star man. There is no way he can leave all of that for an uncertain future in Paris, PSG have Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, Rashford will only be a makeshift player, and i am pretty sure he doesn't want that anymore.
1864  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Making post for merit on: December 12, 2022, 12:14:54 AM
The idea of merits is technically to reduce garbage posting through encouraging users to put thought, effort and quality into their posts, as those are the main ingredients to earn merits in this forum, a user that majority of his posts imbibe these ingredients will earn many merits, maybe pretty fast, or at a normal pace, but what's most important is that merits will definitely be earned.

Having said that, there is thus nothing wrong with a user who ensures that they create posts that carry all of these ingredients so they can earn merits from the forum, mind you that if they put thought, effort and quality in their posts they wouldn't make redundant, repetitive or spam posts, meaning that they will definitely earn merits notwithstanding their intentions. The forum does not have a problem with what people have in mind before making a post, but rather the content of the post, thus even if you are a "merit hungry" user, as long as you have the necessary qualities you would rank up.
1865  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How bitcoin has improved my life on: December 11, 2022, 11:44:17 PM
We shouldn't doubt him if he says he is a millionaire and also his uncle is. A millionaire can still be doing bounty hunting as a hobby or used to engage in the forum.
Another point is that he didn't specify the kind of million, he could be a  SatMillionaire which should be the recognised millionaire in the forum. He could also be a millionaire in their local currency which could be equivalent to 0.0004 dollars.
The OP could quite rightly be a millionaire in their local currency that prolly wouldn't mean much, and i might also agree with you that even despite the fact that the story looks flat out fake, there is a slim chance they aren't telling lies.

Having said that, what i definitely disagree on is that they could probably be into bounty hunting as a hobby, who loves dumping tweets on twitter or making multiple posts on FB, TG and other socia media handles, coupled with bounty reports right after it all. The forum is for Bitcoin, crypto and other whatnot discussions, thus bounty campaigns is no way to engage in the forum, interacting and contributing to quality discussions is the way to do it, and you can then earn through signature campaigns whilsts doing thus.
1866  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 11, 2022, 11:07:48 PM
Sha I been never talk for this matter since e come up so make I talk small, people wey think  say POS people go run out of business no understand wetin this new rules go do for them.

Government say na only ATM go dey remit 2,2 hundred Naira note oh dem no say POS follow and beside POS na individual businesses wey fit dey remit any denomination wey dem want meaning businesses go dey go well for dem. The maximum limit go affect everyone sha but with POS you fit they collect 200, 500, 1000 etc and trust Nigerians dem go use fees kill us.
When people talk of POS services running into issues, the question here isn't the denomination they would be able to pay to customers. PoS service is a business were customers make a transfer either through their ATM card (remember that the limit on PoS terminals is now 20k daily) or mobile banking (most Nigerians can never reach the daily limit on this very one Grin) in return for cash, thus if cash is scarce/unavailable, they (PoS services) wouldn't have sufficient funds to pay to their customers who would make transfers to them, thus reducing their daily income.

Having said that, Mind you that they themselves also have to withdraw the said cash they pay to customers from the bank, and now there is a 100k weekly limit at ATM stands, whilst over the counter banking allows 100k and 500k weekly for individuals and corporate organizations respectively, with 'outrageous' charges if you decide to go above those limits. It definitely is going to affect big PoS services because most of them pay amounts higher than these to their customers daily.

If Cristiano Ronaldo deal is been triggered and he comes to Chelsea, there's every possibility that he's definitely going to be a starter under Graham Potter.
Of course he will be a definite starter, Chelsea do not have any striker that is better than him, notwithstanding his age. Quite a lot of people think Ronaldo is slowing down, but i don't think he is, definitely he can't be as sharp as he was 10 years ago, but he is still a productive footballer that is far better in his position than many players younger than he is. Aubameyang can't compare to him in anyway, and Tuchel who was the main reason Aubameyang came to Chelsea is now gone, so tbh he looks lost already and that could be the reason for his poor start to life at Stamford Bridge, if i am to help Chelsea make decisions on who to sign, i will definitely get Ronaldo for one season at least, with a possibility of an extension, it is a smart deal imo.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 09, 2022, 08:41:45 AM
Martinelli have mentioned on different occasions that he is bent on extending his contract with the club and wants to stay so I don't understand where this news of a possible move is coming from. Barcelona have many wingers in their squad, I'm quite confident that Martinelli will stay and extend his contract with Arsenal for more years to come.
If Barcelona were the elite and attractive club of some years ago, then i'd say Martinelli can't refuse them if they come for him, but they are not that anymore, they have fallen from the top, and are still struggling to get back there, so even if it is true that Barcelona want Martinelli, i don't believe that he will leave Arsenal to go there.

Having said that, i don't even believe the news to be true, Barcelona have financial problems and they have to be careful how they make signings from now on, especially with the amount they spent on players during the last summer transfer window. Martinelli is having the time of his life in Arsenal, thus i have to agree with you that he will extend his contract and remain in Arsenal.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 09, 2022, 08:08:18 AM
even Aubameyang has not been able to make a good contribution on the Chelsea front line this season so if Chelsea officially gets Ronaldo I think Aubameyang will be Graham second choice in the second half of this season.
It is going to be a really smart move for Chelsea should they sign Ronaldo, the only problem i can forsee now is just the bad image that the media have given Ronaldo, they have made him look like a petulant individual who is concerned only about himself and not his team, that can be the only worry that Chelsea would have in making this deal possible, they would consider that if these reports on Ronaldo are true, then he might bring disunity into their team.

Having said that, Ronaldo is a great goalscorer, and Chelsea need that atm, Aubameyang and Broja are not exceptional footballers, they are very good players, but they cannot produce the goals in numbers that Chelsea require to win trophies, Ronaldo on the ther hand can come into Chelsea and help them win trophies with his goals, i'm pretty sure Todd Boehly would be really considering this move.

and as a result them don order CBN to stop the implementation of this new policy and them don send the CBN governor Godwin Emefiele letter make him appear before the house on 15 December 2022, make him come torchlight about the new policy and tell them why dem go allow am to stand.
The policy hasn't gone down well with quite a lot of people, although there are likewise a lot of people in support of it, just like any policy in the world, there would be supporters and opposers. Personally i wouldn't change my ideologies on this policy, i don't think it is a right step for our country just yet, except if other pressing issues would be tackled alongside it, but just this lone policy would not change anything and would make many individuals and businesses to suffer. Even if we talk of this policy curbing vote buying and terrorism funding, let us not forget that the 'men' involved in these sort of heinous acts are powerful and influential men that would definitely circumvent these new policies, na people wey they carry bullion van enter their house you wan restrict to how much them fit hold in cash use am buy votes and do other heinous things, e no fit work na. Anyway make the CBN governor go explain to them, so we go know if this policy go stand or not.

Hope to enjoy a great match between PSG and Bayern Munich after the World Cup.
It is going to be a great match of course, but with quite a lot of pressure, especially for PSG who can't afford to be eliminated in the RO16 for the second season running, they will also have it at the back of their minds that after last season's elimination, their fans really had a go at them, and some players were booed even in their own stadium, the dissatisfaction from the fans was so evident that it threatened to break up the team, with some players looking to leave, but good thing they stuck together and are now a much stronger team than they were last season. Having said that, it is one of those games that is unpredictable, but if i am to just randomly pick a winner, then i'd say PSG would go through, they look to me like a much stronger force than Bayern Munich this season, and the front three of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe might prove too strong for Bayern Munich.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 08, 2022, 12:59:45 PM
It seems that the media can't make even 1 minute not to be news for them so everything related to Ronaldo always makes headlines for them.
That was why Ronaldo called out Rooney and Gary Neville in his recent interview with Piers Morgan, the criticism of the Portuguese superstar is sometimes over the top and unncessary, players make mistakes and do things wrongly sometimes, it is normal, but the moment Ronaldo puts a foot wrong anywhere, the media all rise up wanting to tarnish his image and demoralize him, i think enough is enough of all that, right now i do not even believe most of the reports that's made about him, because i consider many of them to be false.

Having said that, the latest news about Ronaldo is that he wanted to leave Portugal's camp when he discovered he was starting from the bench against Switzerland, but the Portuguese FA have come for the media outlet that covered that news, stating that every bit of it is false, and i believe them, it isn't possible that Ronaldo would threaten to boycott the WC just because he started one game from the bench, this is the same way they have been spreading transfer rumors about him, he hasn't made any decision yet, and we'd find out Ronaldo's next club after the WC, and not before it ends.
1873  Other / Archival / Re: [Merit] Help newbies and those who have a little left to the next rank on: December 08, 2022, 07:35:08 AM
To be honest I'm applying this because I do need merit for signature campaign some of campaign need at least 5 for applying their project.  Sad
Signature campaigns quite rightly have their merit requirements for prospective participants, but there are other ways to get it like making quality and constructive posts, and contributing to the forum generally; but as far as this thread goes, it is for users who are very close to their next rank, but going by your merit count now, you aren't any close to your next rank, thus this thread isn't for you.
I will give merit if I have since i don't have any smerit i cant send any merit Sad
You do not have to send smerits to forum users to be able to earn merits from other users, you should know about that being a user here since 2014. Users would merit you if they see you have good posts, or that you put effort into creating your posts.
1874  Other / Archival / Re: [Merit] Help newbies and those who have a little left to the next rank on: December 07, 2022, 07:24:36 PM
I need two merits. Please give me two merits.
You do not have to beg for merits, begging for merits is not allowed on the forum and it is considered irksome by some users who might put you on their ignore list for it. You post mainly in the local section, thus only people from that part of the world would be able to read and understand your posts to know if it is a quality and constructive one deserving of merits. You already got 8 merits from your local section, no need then to be in a hurry as sooner rather than later you'd prolly get what's left of it to take you to the next rank.
1875  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 07, 2022, 07:09:58 PM
This policy no gel, even if them go implement am at least make e be after them done hold better seminar way go educate this aged and illiterate ones on how to face the new policy.
I don talk am before, and i go talk am again, i no they in support of the new policy, i they only correct some misconceptions wey some users for here they post about am. You have to understand that it is what it is, and no seminar is required for something like this, many old people sabi when them receive alert, and many of them sabi confirm am by themselves, you no go expect government to roll out new policy such as this one wey they pretty straightforward, come organize seminar for am join, if na matter wey require seminar we go know.

Having said that, businesses wey they very small, like women wey they sell pepper for example, nothing go change for their side at all, because people go still carry cash they buy from them as the goods they sell are not all that expensive. But once you they run business wey customers go gats buy goods worth so much, then you have to improvise and start accepting transfers, as well as make provisions for your own personal PoS payment machine; if you are too old you go carry younger person join body, wey go follow you they for shop, e they hard sev to see old woman wey no fit understand how to confirm transactions say she they for shop alone, she go get person wey go they assist am, na normal thing.
1876  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 07, 2022, 12:38:45 PM
As CBN wan limit daily and weekly withdraw of peoples funds, make them know forget the high increase of goods and service for the country. At least when person do his or her daily withdrawal of 20k em go do am for em household.
There is only limit on withdrawal, not on mobile banking transfer or direct payment through a PoS machine, so like i said for my earlier post on this matter, wetin go happen now be say, with this development most businesses (both large, medium and small scale) would start accepting payments through online transfers and would also ensure they have their own personal PoS machines for direct payment, thus even if you no get cash you go still buy wetin you wan buy. You go just use the little cash you are afforded to buy things from small traders (for example, things like tomato and pepper), then when you want to make other more expensive purchases, you basically make a transfer to them, or pay them through their personal payment PoS. This policy no go affect in this way as you talk am.

Having said that, e no mean say i am in support of this new policy as i don already talk put for the matter, you fit check am for here, na there i don explain how this policy go affect Nigerians and how e no really get too much advantage if you check am critically.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 07, 2022, 06:25:33 AM
It's true that the team will surely not affected by Ronaldo departure but im really sad about the way that he left the team with, he is one of the best players in the history of the team and seeing him leaving this way is really bad Even if you are not a fan for Manchester united, i really wished he retire in the old Trafford but unfortunately that's not what will happen
He isn't only one of the best players in the history of the team, but he is also arguably one of the greatest footballers of all time, but it is what it is, and it is sad the way he left Old Trafford, but if he had stayed any longer then the relationship between him and the club would have snowballed into something really pathetic, and i am pretty certain that nobody wanted that, so it is good they parted ways as soon as they could.

Ronaldo and his agent are only concerned about one thing at this time, and it is to get Ronaldo a new team, i don't think he wants to go to Saudi Arabia, but he may have to if it is his last/only option. Ronaldo i'm sure wants to stay in Europe, at an elite level, but with all that's been going on with him lately, not too many clubs would be interested in signing him.
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 07, 2022, 12:13:45 AM
All football fans are very confident about Manchester City. Because they have a very strong XI, who deserve to win this league title. Liverpool on the other hand still have time to turn around, hopefully after the World Cup they will come back super strong.
How dare anyone lose confidence in Manchester City, of course people are right to feel very confident about City and expect them to turn things around and make it back to the summit of the league, but this season there is a new and resilient competitor in Arteta's Arsenal, they are the team to watch out for right now as they sit comfortably on the top of the table.

Having said that, after the WC Pep has quite a lot of work on his hands, it's not going to be easy for them to close up all the gap and go above Arsenal, but it is something that they have done in the past to other teams and they can do it this time around too, imo Liverpool aren't in the title race and they are not getting back into it. It looks like a two horse race to me atm, between City and Arsenal.
1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 06, 2022, 11:34:08 PM
to be fair the new coach of Chelsea deserves time at least one proper full season before we start to judge his work,
Whilst i am always in full support of managers needing more time than they more often than not get, i am not so optimistic about Graham Potter no matter the time i think he is afforded. Todd Boehly only fired Tuchel because their ideas were not in line, and not because he found a better manager in Graham, because Tuchel is definitely way much better. He'd definitely be given more time as i do not expect Boehly to become like Roman Abramovich who fires managers like he is changing underwears, so i expect Graham Potter to be given time to buy his own players by next summer and then we'll see how he manages the team, but imo i consider him a coach for a small team, no disrespect to him or what he achieved at Brighton, but i am not expecting him to win any trophies with/for Chelsea.
1880  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 06, 2022, 10:52:01 PM
New CNB 20k daily withdrawal limit
Well what i think most businesses are going to do as a result of this devopment is to ensure they have their own PoS machines so customers can pay directly to them with their ATM cards, i know every large scale business definitely has that already, but now even small scale businesses would have to get theirs, because you can no longer expect customers to have sufficient cash to cover what they want to buy.

Only denominations of 200 naira note and below will be loaded in ATM machines once this development takes effect oh (una see that one?), so even if you decide to go withdraw the stipulated 20,000 daily, na for 200 naira denomination or below you go hold am oh. Grin I feel this policy would greatly affect people who run PoS services as they would lack the funds to satisfy their customers, if they decide to use the ATM, they are limited to only 100,000 per week, and if they choose over the counter, they are limited to 100,000 and 500,000 with a fee to process such transactions amounting to 5% and 10% respectively, that is absolutely crazy; i can see quite a lot of people who are into PoS services shutting down from january 9, 2023, and we have many of them in our country, it means many people are soon to be jobless.

Having said that, i do not know what exactly the economic benefit of making cash scarce is, if you ask me that isn't our problem at all, me i believe say our main problem be say we no they produce anything locally, plus this men them wey they thief our oil, if we fit handle production in our country, fix refineries, come they export locally produced goods, plus enjoying the full benefit of the oil wey God bless us with, then i believe say our economy go wake up from sleep. Making cash scarce looks like compounding our problems, especially by making people jobless like i said in the second paragraph of my post.
