1881  Other / Meta / Re: Hero member with 1000 airdropped merits - is it possible? on: June 13, 2020, 07:17:35 AM
~ Weren't Hero accounts supposed to receive only 500 merits when the merit system was implemented?

Hero members have received 1000 Merit points instead of 500 if their Activity was >= 775.

#msg29008685
Ah, so my guess was right, I just know this. lol, okay seems others too.
1882  Other / Meta / Re: Hero member with 1000 airdropped merits - is it possible? on: June 13, 2020, 07:02:02 AM
Supposedly, this is a bug. User is inactive before the merit system introduced.

The account is a potential legendary rank if and only if airdropped merit is somewhat based on the activity when merit introduces then, maybe, but, apparently not.
1883  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Good News! Binance Support Philippines Peso (PHP) for P2P Trading on: June 12, 2020, 06:04:43 PM
(Possible) Cons: Entrusting your bank details to another individual. If Binance also keeps those details, then that's entrusting to another entity aside from our local exchanges.
This will be always the cons sa mga mahilig sa p2p, and should be considered to take risk kase kahit hindi masyadong confidential ang bank account info such bank account # mas mabuti parin na ibibigay lamang ito sa trusted entities na alam or kilala natin.

But overall okay diyan, need lang mag verify ng KYC para maka pag buy/sell p2p sa binance.
1884  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Could you recommend some advertising platform? on: June 12, 2020, 02:44:11 PM
Do you know about any other service that provides good traffic with a good conversion rate for a lower price?
Thank you for every tip.  Wink
You should at least include your niche because it may vary in a case to case bases. Those you mentioned were really charging high CPM considering the number of their users where your advertisement(s) will be shown. If you're targeting cryptocurrency, then conzilla, cointraffic, a-ads is a must to try.

Have you tried those social media sites such twitter, reddit and quora?
1885  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Program Signature Campaign - Give Hope To Everyone... on: June 12, 2020, 07:13:39 AM
So this were all the efforts we made for the distribution of the relief goods in the eastern part of Samar island where the previous typhoon (Vongfong) landed. Goods were distributed to 201 families in the two sitio/village of Dolores with the help of my org and the group of students/people who organized the location and choose the one whos in need it the most. It's almost 8 hours of travel back and forth since the truck is full load and it barely runs 30km/hr.
That's why I didn't get a lot of images on the second destination since its already late and we rushed giving all the goods to the community, also for us to be able to go home early.  It also raining while we're going there, good thing it stops. At least we got home at 9 in the evening.

What a tiring day, yet that day has shown full of experience and always gave me extreme joy whenever I see those big smiles from those people/families/children who received the goods. They might be not big enough to sustain their food for their daily needs but I'm sure it's somewhat a big help to them.

And I'm very thankful to those who share, care, and donated their very own satoshis to make this project completely happened.

Goods:
5 kg of rice
2 sardines
3 noodles (beef/chicken)
2 twin pack coffee
3 pack of birch tree milk
2 soap

**Addition a box of used clothes donated from the people I knew

Packing the goods

**Those villages and the entire province is free of COVID-19 but as the government mandatory rule, a face mask and social distancing are required.

**Btw this activity was on Jun. 7, I just posted it here due to not feeling well for past few days.

1886  Other / Meta / Re: Request for Notification Feature in the forum on: June 11, 2020, 04:47:52 PM
Thank you but I already used this bot before and its really helpful. But the problem is, I don't use telegram anymore since I quit bounty hunting and many user don't used telegram often too. I request this because I saw that a telegram bot can do it so it's possible that the forum can implement it too without using any 3rd party app. Smiley
With that, this forum's engine, smf, might be hard to implement such feature, or might take longer for theymos to work

Sure thing this feature is possible on new forum software, although not sure when it will be good to use, maybe on another halving?
1887  Other / Meta / Re: Request for Notification Feature in the forum on: June 11, 2020, 04:31:53 PM
You can just use this telegram bot made by tryninja for the feature you want https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5248878.
It also notify you when you receive smerits and post quoted your reply.
1888  Other / Meta / Re: Issue with flag system (Please FIX) on: June 11, 2020, 02:58:07 AM
But topic or posts can be deleted and in that case you loose all the evidence in the flag. Just take for example your last flag
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=1780
That's why you need to change your habit of creating flags with topic of the OP, you should at least make a screenshot or archive the OP as your proof and create your own thread as the reference of the flag.

^^Above reply explains it all
1889  Other / Meta / Re: Why am i still a JR. Member? :s on: June 10, 2020, 03:35:05 PM
Perfect!
Thanks a lot mate, this is all i needed.
No problem, just make sure you create a high quality contents and on point reply to get higher chance of getting merit.
1890  Other / Meta / Re: Why am i still a JR. Member? :s on: June 10, 2020, 03:29:05 PM

1891  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Affiliate Marketing For Bitcoins? on: June 10, 2020, 01:25:50 AM
I have not checked this out myself. I don't know if you can find something useful about it. I searched it up, you can go through it.
to see if it will help.

[...]
Most websites mentioned on that list didn't offer affiliate marketing except for crypto job list, most of them are freelance job listing. Though, I didn't used them yet.
1892  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin added to CoinEx "finance" list of coin leading. on: June 09, 2020, 08:42:39 PM
What's your connection to Coinex? They have their ann thread you should post it there instead of creating new thread for every new announcement.
1893  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coin-Exchanger.com on: June 09, 2020, 06:37:34 PM
You need to work for the UI.

Your website accepts any kind of address, even the receiving coin is btc it accepts the address of eth, you need to fix that for user experience.

Also, you need to consider using segwit address for deposits either native or nested.
1894  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Timeline ng Pag Hack ng mga BTC Exchanges on: June 08, 2020, 05:09:50 AM
Kase kahit gamiting mn ang HW even sa infected devices hacking hardware wallet is impossible.
Hacking is possible sa kahit anong bagay. Ayan ang natutunan ko recently after kong magkainteres sa Hacking dahil sa boredom ngayong pandemic and sabay na din ng panonood ng "Mr Robot" - kung saan pinakita yung karamihang way kung paano mahack or mapenetrate ang system ng isang company and even security ng isang tao mismo. And if the hardware wallet is infected, part / isa na yun sa mga stages ng hacking, ang Gaining Access stage - kung saan napasok na ng attacker ang system ng HW wallet mo and kulang nalang is kung paano niya gagamitin ang Social Engineering and Phishing para naman sa mga key codes mo.
I'm talking about hardware wallets with the possibility na ma hack using virus sa device kung saan ini'insert and HW. At hindi ko rin sinasabe na hacking isn't possible, I'm talking sa isang particular na scenario which is hindi possible na i'breach ang security ng HW as of now.

Also offline storage such HW have no chance na mainfect, pwede ma breach ng mga hackers ang mga wallet that runs online kung saan compatible ang mga Hardware wallet para magamit, such as ledger live, ledger manager plugins, electrum, mycelium or any other wallet, which is nangyari na before, pero if we're talking the device itself, nah.

If we're talking bout hacking sa HW na na kuha ng hacker or may physical access sila then it's possible. Nangyari na ganyang scenario, after that incident, those company(ies) upgraded their system.

Kase kahit gamiting mn ang HW even sa infected devices hacking hardware wallet is impossible.
1896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone Used Multicoinescrow as an Escrow Service? on: June 07, 2020, 10:07:42 PM

Aside from the list of escrow above you can check this as well

1897  Other / Off-topic / Re: 5 Privacy Browsers that are available for Android on: June 07, 2020, 09:54:59 PM
I have exprience using all of those browser except Epic.
I've found some negative feedback against epic. And
Firefox is good for mobile, but I've expriance "Full black Screen" problem in desktop.

I have good experience using firefox on desktop than using their mobile app, Idk but I don't feel like using ff on mobile, but after with this issue of brave I think I need to be used to it since duckduckgo has the ability for privacy but using its search is meee I'll stay still on google instead.
1898  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Affiliate Marketing For Bitcoins? on: June 07, 2020, 06:14:38 PM
You can try namecheap and coinplaza, you can also try localcryptos they offer referral. Though I'm not sure if namecheap pays through bitcon/crypto.
1899  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New stupid/greedy move from Brave Browser on: June 07, 2020, 06:00:31 PM
they should disable that and apologize to the community, it's cheap trick only low rate browser will do that
They did and you can disable it on the browser settings https://www.reddit.com/r/brave_browser/comments/gydbi6/referral_link_autocomplete_update_on_github/

This is not the first and would not be the last, these dubious tactics of theirs will bring them down, use firefox instead.
1900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Solve this Blockchain Puzzle & Win Bitcoin [Puzzle #2] on: June 07, 2020, 05:33:13 PM
Solving a puzzle is always fun, but people always do that thing only if the bounty is acceptable and not to low for them to waste their time finding hints and etc. Also, I didn't see engagement into that tweet where the puzzle is posted, maybe people are too choosy to solve a puzzle since there are still unsolved with higher price.
