1901  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: December 17, 2014, 07:45:32 AM
I noticed a few small problems:

I made a second wishlish before my second was delivered.  When the first order arrived, it wanted me to confirm that the stuff on my second wishlist had arrived!  I had to delete my 2nd wishlist and re-make the first, then confirm the order (I was worried I would be incorrectly debited otherwise).
Also there is no live price update when you change the discount %.

Otherwise I really like the concept, and I like actually using bitcoins instead of saving them.
1902  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: are you getting nervous ? on: December 16, 2014, 11:34:26 AM
I would rather the price was going up obviously, but I am pretty sure that these short term price movements downwards are just that.
But then I don't scream when the price rises $20, so I don't cry when it falls $20 either.
1903  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: December 15, 2014, 02:10:15 PM
My order finally got taken!  Smiley
1904  Economy / Speculation / Re: Difficulty dropping on: December 15, 2014, 05:56:03 AM
You have to be crazy to buy mining equipment, so I am not surprised that difficulty is plateauing until the next generation miners are released.
1905  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Investment Trust Syndicate Wins 48,000 BTC in US Marshals Auction on: December 14, 2014, 05:18:31 PM
Taxation, new news all against BTC for the moment.

The darkest moments of the day is just before the day light.I hope there will be a balance at the market.Volume is getting higher.

Patience.

Taxation?
How is taxation connected to the bitcoins auction?

It's not got anything to do with it, he seemed want to offer negative news to counter your news, why? I don't know!
1906  Economy / Economics / Re: How the US Marshal Bitcoin Auction Affects the Market (Buttercoin Weekly) on: December 14, 2014, 05:16:33 PM
Nice analysis, of course someone wanting to get into the market but without affecting the market liquidity could also have taken this opportunity to buy at market rate. If they were sold under market rate, then it will be very little under market rate IMO.
1907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any other site accepting CLAM? on: December 14, 2014, 05:07:11 PM
But how can a coin that was given away, primarily to the exchanges, be valuable?
I mean I have a few, but don't really know why they are exploring in value.
1908  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] ■■■■■ I buy your old btc/ltc/doge address ■■■■■ 》0.01 BTC《 !! on: December 14, 2014, 04:03:16 PM
You sent me a PM, I don't know anything about Clams, but assume that if you want to buy them for 0.01BTC that they have a value of more than 0.01BTC!
I will do some research and get back to you.
1909  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitChainLotto.com The first BlockChain Based Lottery! Draws Evey 1000 Blocks! on: December 14, 2014, 08:52:27 AM
I like the idea, but I won't download the calculator, I don't download unknown things from bitcoin forums!
1910  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you play this game? on: December 14, 2014, 08:47:57 AM
It seems massively simple, just a 2-1 bet on a chance occurrence.
I guess people would play it, just as they play dice.  Don#t forget to show the last 10 results though, even though they are pointless, people like to see them to "wrok out" what is "due" next!
1911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 14, 2014, 08:44:30 AM
We have a nice little spike on google trends for bitcoin, not exactly to last years bubble levels, but a noticeable move up.
1912  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do if bitcoin price raise up to $1000 ? on: December 14, 2014, 08:42:17 AM
I would happily swap some bitcoin 1 for 1 with gold ozs.
I might feel differently if and when it actually happens, especially if the reasoning for the move is obvious, but at the moment that would be my move.
1913  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: December 14, 2014, 08:38:51 AM
I see the dollar being replaced with a basket of commodities, i.e. Oil, Gold, Corn, Copper or silmilar.  It would be great if Bitcoin was a part of the basket, but I doubt it unless the dollar remains in place and printing like crazy for the next 25 years at least.
1914  Economy / Speculation / Re: [WP]Only Flaw in Bitcoin Network is User Greed on: December 14, 2014, 08:31:44 AM
I think the biggest flaws are that no companies pass on the savings that come with using bitcoin (I want to see item costs $9.95 with visa, $9.49 with btcoin)
Also that we sit with our bitcoin in our wallets and never spend them, I mean, what is the price rises after I spend them??  Well it won't unless people start using bitcoin as it is supposed to be used!
1915  Other / Off-topic / Re: Look what i bought with bitcoin today! What did you buy with bitcoin today? on: December 13, 2014, 10:13:02 PM
I would love to be able to get involved in this topic, but it is so difficult to fins things online in Germany that you can buy with Bitcoin.
I will be ordering in a pizza paid for with BTC next week though, so I can post a photo then!
1916  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: December 13, 2014, 10:04:27 PM
Just deposited $20 into this. Anyone knows how long until the funds show up in my account?
You mean in Bitcoin?  Mine showed up after 5 minutes.
Otherwise if you mean cash, you have to buy something to get your bitcoin.

My 13.5€ order has been there for days now, I was getting all excited about being able to frequently buy with Bitcoin, I guess that day hasn't arrived yet..
1917  Economy / Speculation / Re: This could be the bitcoin bears nightmare! on: December 13, 2014, 09:56:36 PM
^ NEVER!!! I had the chance to buy since $2... Im a smart investor who has already made millions off of trading. I know better than to just jump into a digital currency.
When it hit $1,100+ I knew it was a bullshit bubble because I have traded thru PLENTY of those in the past including the real estate bubble. I refuse to buy things expensive anymore now. After doing research I can see the price of bitcoin can easily reach double digits & big miners will still be able to sell at a profit. How about you do some research?

http://willyreport.wordpress.com/2014/05/25/the-willy-report-proof-of-massive-fraudulent-trading-activity-at-mt-gox-and-how-it-has-affected-the-price-of-bitcoin/

The problem is, even if what you say is true, why did you not think it was BS at $700, or $800 etc, you happened to wait until the absolute peak at $1100 before selling out. It sounds suspiciously like BS!
1918  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The cost of electricity in the world on: December 13, 2014, 09:44:51 PM
$0.31 here in Germany, and they have started using loads more coal because they stopped usuing nuclear and are trying to use renewables, but it isn't working too efficiently yet..
1919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is your strategy on dice sites? on: December 13, 2014, 09:33:34 PM
don't bet more than you can afford to lose, don't start increasing your bet size as time goes by, enjoy it and see any losses as time spend having fun, much like money spend on beer or going to the cinema or alike.
1920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST SOCCER/FOOTBALL BETS !ODDS ARE ON YOUR SIDE!!!#BEST ✔✔✔ on: December 13, 2014, 09:30:27 PM
Yep, Dortmund lost again.  I think they will pcik up once they go out of the champions league, or maybe just after the winter break, it's not looking good at the moment though...
