1921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!! Disaster for BitCoin... Who Stole all of PETER SCHIFF's Bitcoins ??? on: January 21, 2020, 05:32:12 PM
where's the hard fact there?

Peter Schiff's Bitcoins wasn't stolen and he already admitted that he lost his keys to access the bitcoins. IMO, this guy is a fraud, how will you lost access easily on his BTC. He is claiming that his wallet is being corrupted and stating his password is already not valid, that's the first time I hear those kinds of excuses on losing BTC. Probably he just wants to give negative thoughts on BTC to the public or just wanted public attention.
Most of the people think PS is just an anti-Bitcoin and probably it's true.
1922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff Lost His Bitcoin on: January 21, 2020, 05:22:24 PM
... and to be honest I don't really care if this Peter Schiff lost his amount of Bitcoin or not, it does not even matter, and this information will never help me.
I guess you're right, most of the topics here are already focused on a popular person. The OP asked on our thoughts on this common-sense situation, how will you react if someone lost huge money? a simple question with a basic answer right.

People nowadays are getting too much attention, If someone tweeted, it's already here in BTC discussion, every individual is important are always in this discussion as if it helps the growth of BTC in 2020. And btw, Peter Schiff will always take an opportunity to spit non-sense on the public, I'm tired of people like that.
1923  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: From being a shitposter before now almost there![Hero Rank] on: January 20, 2020, 05:34:52 PM
Congratulations OP, May 20, 2020, is your special day. Good luck.
TMAN is a legendary meriter for good posters. Good posters don't complain on what TMAN does but shit posters do, and that reality is not too difficult to understand. I congratulate the OP for his newest rank, Hero Member.
I knew TMAN is doing that since the introduction of the merit system. He really motivates and supports all of the quality posters out there, so I can't agree with those people who think TMAN is bias on giving merits.

..and besides, giving merits depend on your own thoughts, not to the others.
1924  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas Bitcointalk Org Shirt on: January 20, 2020, 05:26:48 PM

Any plans in making this a reality? Well, makakapaghintay naman po. Smiley
Since mukhang hindi pa, I'll try to make a design, nagbabakasakali lang. Gonna send it here, probably bukas ng gabi, kung gusto niyo lang naman.
1925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? on: January 20, 2020, 05:21:07 PM
Why would you choose Bluetooth if you can transfer it using the hotspot network of your phone?
Wi-Fi technology is always there even streets in your hood already have public Wi-Fi. It's better to send your Bitcoins through it than using Bluetooth, we all know that BT has a very slow speed transfer.

IMO, BT is also not safe, you must pair to the other device and both of you have access already on his/her files especially bitcoin so this will not guarantee your security of the transaction. Also, there are many keyloggers that might affect your device to hijack or access your BTC.

1928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn about Patent and Intellectual Property. (Bitcoin) on: January 19, 2020, 05:49:10 PM
Thanks for clearing this up with this intensive education about property ownership and frankly speaking i doubt he can ever show proof of the concept of blockchain technology, whitepaper. Not forgetting having access to the private keys holding the genesis bitcoins that were mined when bitcoin was launched. Someday, i wish the real Satoshi would come out and give this old man a break from all the false claims Huh
I learned it from my course subject, I just wanted to share it here since it's very related to what's happening on the CSW issue. SN doesn't need to show up just to debunk this guy, We know he's laughing out there because of CSW's fantasy.

Simple definition, a unique idea or concept that is made by your mind. It means all of the things you had thought and do are considered as IP. The blockchain and bitcoin are the intellectual property of Satoshi Nakamoto, so if the real Satoshi applied for a patent with great evidence, It will consider him as the owner of BTC, BTC whitepaper, and blockchain concept not only in the digital world but in the whole world.
Maybe this is the reason why Craig Wright felt compelled to file the patent for the WhitePaper of Bitcoin.
CSW thought he got all he needs for this claim but he's wrong, we'll wait for feb and let see what happens.
1929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn about Patent and Intellectual Property. (Bitcoin) on: January 18, 2020, 05:58:32 PM
Every claim he has made is total fantasy. He’ll soon be a tiny, shitty, skidmark in bitcoin’s history. Early Feb court date is coming soon, tick tock!
2 more weeks, CSW will be proclaimed as faketoshi.

What about those coins that contain "bitcoin"in their name? And how to solve the problem with other coins that also use blockchain technology? In the first lines of coinmarketcap, we see a large number of such coins, as well as various bitcoin forks. Most of these coins are simply speculating on the "bitcoin" brand.
Obv, those are imitation like what @cryptoaddictchie said and all of the people in the crypto community knew they just did an innovation, meaning they didn't literally make it from scratch unless they made something different on the network to say it's unique.

1930  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Si Craig Wright nga ba si Satoshi Nakamoto? on: January 18, 2020, 05:47:47 PM
Less than three weeks na lang. Maybe lock this thread for the mean time and continue the discussion once meron ng decision ang korte.
I agree to lock this thread.

and lastly.. (this thread was made by nullius)
1931  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: I thought Hero Rank is impossible to reach[Half way there] on: January 18, 2020, 05:40:12 PM
Since you lack activities which is one of the requirements for ranking up.

Chineck ko yung BTCtalk activity spreadsheet at sa May 20, 2020 yung special day mo. Kasi within this month or next month, posible na ma-gain mo yung 500 require merits and after non, maghintay nalang sa Activity. Saktong 18 weeks ang need mong hintayin kasi need mo pa ng 141 activities, mark that date.  Wink

1932  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bitcointalk Activity Time Spreadsheet on: January 17, 2020, 06:14:35 PM
May paraan din ba para malaman kung ilang times nag log in ang isang user within days weeks months or years. Actually without relying on time actvity log and the activity made through our posts, gusto kong malaman kung nakailang beses akong nag log in. Pero as far as I know nabrowse ko ito dun sa IP address na available dun sa system info ng forum, pero nung tinignan ko ito, it is not accurate, ewan ko or faulty lang yung GPS by sending the location addresses.

Edit:
https://bitcointalk.org/myips.php
Its only good for your 30days history.

1933  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [DISCUSSION] Patent Claim of Craig Wright (Bitcoin) Patent & IP on: January 17, 2020, 05:37:56 PM

1934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain the most desirable skill of 2020 according to LinkedIn on: January 17, 2020, 05:12:28 PM
lol, Blockchain becomes a skill now?

..or are you referring blockchain-based web developer? because of that well I can agree to LinkedIn because even here, most of the project study here are blockchain-based web app which is efficient for data storage. Some devs are already hiring some expert web devs since 2018 so for me, it's not new anymore for this year.

This technology brings more job and specialization, hands down to satoshi for creating this chain network.
1935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: January 17, 2020, 04:37:13 PM
People are just being ignorant about new and upcoming technologies and they only foresee negative aspects from it. That's a mindset of those who lack appreciation in technology and aren't exposed to it.

Brett should rather channel his energy towards a better idea. I do not think crypto need further lashes. What is currently happening is enough for the technology. Without any doubt we all see now that bitcoin and other crypto are becoming irrelevant and there has been significant break away or rather diversification by the people that may be thinking of investing in crypto before now
But you know, some people just want to watch the world burn. And Brett is one of those people. He might've saw or caught wind of how unprofitable bitcoin will be for the government because of its decentralised nature and is therefore doing everything in his power to whittle bitcoin down its roots. Big investors should be wary, but not pull their investments out. If anything, we should show our support to bitcoin in this time of need.
Pessimistic people are the one who destroys modernization in the world. Brett did that for his personal desires and afraid to lose his power due to bitcoin's massive adaptation.
1936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: January 16, 2020, 01:57:33 PM
I also want to introduce bitcoin to local people, especially in my neighborhood. but it seems that it is not easy, only a few people are willing to get to know Bitcoin technology, even they have bought a bit of Bitcoin for a long-term investment (because they understand the internet and can control computers), most of the others believe more in gold, because according to them , holding gold will be safer than holding bitcoin whose price changes faster.
indeed it is very difficult to introduce bitcoin to people around, especially if they don't know much about the internet world. we need ways to provide information to them, and also sometimes it will be easier if they provide information in the form of our money, then usually they will be more interested in trying bitcoin.
People nowadays already exposed to the internet so I think it'll be easier. People are being scammed often so definitely they know what's the behavior on the internet. It's easy to introduce bitcoin, just start it from blockchain because being technical will make it more understanding for them.

After that, introduce bitcoin and you're right to involve money into this, they'll probably be attracted to BTC.

bump to this thread.

There's another issue regarding CSW, and through this thread malalaman niyo na imposible talaga yung pag-claim ni CSW bilang Satoshi Nakamoto.

1938  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Si Craig Wright nga ba si Satoshi Nakamoto? on: January 16, 2020, 01:14:38 PM
Baka ma-misunderstood ng ibang taong makakabasa.
Quote
However, he has so far only produced the encryption key which unlocks a list of total Bitcoin holdings and has not provided the private keys necessary to access the funds themselves.
Quote
Wright claims that if he can prove he has the private keys, then his pivotal role in creating the original Bitcoin protocol will be proven beyond reasonable doubt.

1. Millions of BTC owned by SN. (Ito yung way niya ngayon kaya waiting nalang for Private keys)
2. Layout model or design for Blockchain, Trademark ownership of Bitcoin and White paper.

1940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Learn about Patent and Intellectual Property. (Bitcoin) on: January 15, 2020, 07:15:22 PM
One of the important topics we should learn regarding studies and innovation that we're creating is patent. The reason why I created this topic because of discussions about Craig Wraight who's non-stop of claiming as the founder of bitcoin. This is one of my course subjects and I guarantee that it'll be helpful on some discussions like this:

Most of the time when there's a news about CSW, it can be seen on btc discussion already. These are the articles related to CSW issues:and until now, he can't even show a valid proof for ownership of btc white paper.
So let's start the real topic about Patent and Intellectual Property.

Intellectual Property

Simple definition, a unique idea or concept that is made by your mind. It means all of the things you had thought and do are considered as IP.
The blockchain and bitcoin are the intellectual property of Satoshi Nakamoto, so if the real Satoshi applied for a patent with great evidence, It will consider him as the owner of BTC, BTC whitepaper, and blockchain concept not only in the digital world but in the whole world.

Patent

A patent is something you have to apply to claim as the creator of the invention.
For eg.
Craig Wright of NChain is trying to apply for patent on all of the things SN made but until now, WIPO still doesn't grant or approve due to lack of evidence of being SN. The reason why he's still holding the title of faketoshi or fraud for insisting to be SN.

The different kinds of Intellectual Property.
  • Patent
  • Trademark
  • Utility Model
  • Industrial Design
  • Geographic Indications
  • Layout of IC
  • Trade Secret
  • Copyright

How does the claim of CSW will be approved?

1. If he really holds the millions of BTC that are owned by SN.
2. Layout model or design for Blockchain, Trademark ownership of Bitcoin and White paper. These are one of the easiest ways to gain approval but I still, CW lacks all of it.

So here's the recent issue about a patent for bitcoin also known as patent wars.
Quote
The race to file blockchain patents has accelerated lately with one specific firm, Nchain Holdings, attempting to capture hundreds of distributed ledger-related patents. According to reports, self-proclaimed Satoshi – Craig Wright – and his Nchain business claim to have filed 666 patent applications to date, capturing a gigantic portfolio of intellectual property.

His patent application number is 666. [3]

Applying for Patent
Since there's a lot of countries that use Bitcoin, he must include those countries on the patent application to claim Bitcoin in that country. There's a chance that the BTC will be owned by the other people in the countries you didn't include and having also the same evidence but it's impossible.

There are so-called 'patent wars' where people are trying to compete with each other to be the owner of a certain thing because of the profit that will be gain in the market.

This is CW's patent application and a lot of countries are included in designated states. So it means he controls the ownership on those countries when he obtains the approval of the patent claim.

Therefore, Don't be fooled easily by those claimants as SN if they still lack evidence and avoid making false news in the Bitcoin Discussion about CW as SN.
