1961  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: December 30, 2017, 04:44:40 AM
And what happens now bitcoin still above $14K. Bitcoin very hard to experience a fall, let alone fall to below $10K.
In fact, $10k is a really solid base and if it ever gets below $12k at this moment that would be some pretty much rushing hour for those who want to cash in on the huge discount but I would not bet much on it.

The market already experienced a huge dip and it seems we have been able to find a good support for now and unless we go lower which would show huge weakness, then what we should have now is going to be a bull run next.
1962  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which exchange for cashing out more than 100 BTCs to a company bank account? on: December 29, 2017, 07:53:18 PM
Hey guys,

I have a company bank account and I would like to cash out around 150 BTCs to that bank account.
Which exchange would you recommend for that action?
Important should be the liquidity, I don't want to move the market with my sell. And the duration of the verification process and what they want to know for KYC.

Is Bitfinex good?
And I would like to know, if possible, from which country the wire will come.

Thanks in advance Smiley
100BTC is a huge amount of cash right now and I doubt if you may really see an exchange that would allow a huge withdraw like that as some of them have limit that you can take out in fiat per month.

All the above, except for P2P exchanges, that may be the only easy way this can be done and even the transaction cannot really be done without trusting who you are transacting with or someone with a good reputation. Depending on where you are, localbitcoins or remitano can be of help.
1963  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's that unfair for those who don't have bitcoin in the future ? on: December 29, 2017, 07:22:18 PM
nothing about it is unfair.
bitcoin has never been something secret that limited people had access to! that is altcoins with premine and ICO and all that crap. from day one you could mine any block you wanted and get the reward, or you could have bought bitcoin as soon as it started having a value and be traded. you could have paid $1 and be a millionaire today.

if you haven't done that, you only have yourself to blame. and in a couple of years from now you will look back at this topic and blame yourself again since price is $1 million by then and you still won't have anything Cheesy
Nothing in the world is even fair and this is as fair as anything. You cannot compare early adopter to late adopters and if we both end up on equal ground, then that would even be more unfair to the early adopters as they believed in it more, stood their ground even when things were looking bleak and they gave it all the interest anyone can ever give, so nothing ia unfair at all.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 28, 2017, 06:01:13 AM
In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

There is actually a probability that it would. Seeing that Ethereum is on the top 5 list of the most popular altcoin and not to mention the fact that most ICOs actually prefer it, there's no reason why ETH could beat bitcoin. Although, I don't see this happening anytime soon since bitcoin's popularity continues to grow through the help of social media.
Ethereum being the second on the list does not mean it would but at the same time does not mean it may not.
Ethereum has really proven to be a good project and a good coin to hold, but we also have to understand that there are also some issues with Ethereum as well that would need to be solved.

No coin is perfect and i believe it is going to have to be a gradual process for most of the coins, and I do not expect bitcoin to stay without improvement in the long run.
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: December 28, 2017, 04:43:52 AM
Well as far as we can see it, alt coins that dont have enough volume to follow on BTC trend will normally have difficulties.
But then again you never know :-)
Yeah, you never know. Some Alts are battling it out now anyway and some are trying to gain some huge relevance in the community. Nevertheless, this is the alts world and anything can happen to them within a twinkle of an eye when people are trying to quickly cash-in on profit and then trying to see how they can get the best of a high pumping bitcoin.

But when a new investor steeping into crypto world they are all being advised to diversify their capital across bitcoins and various altcoins hence we can expect alts to grow further and any crash happening may not sustain for longer periods. So, practically we cannot expect alts to crash again and again.
1966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cardano ADA the next Ethereum? on: December 27, 2017, 06:47:02 PM
This coin "ADA" keeps flying and maintaining good position in the exchange market. Am keeping a close watch and may buy some down to see what it becomes next year 2018. Though it would take it some time to stand up with the Queen- ETH.
The fly was a result of the listing. It is normal to see such happen, most especially when they first get listed on a very common and well used exchange. However, this does not mean that a little pinch can still bring it down and it is too early to start comparing this coin to Ethereum. They still have a lot to take care of and even though I am a little optimistic about them, I still have some of my doubts.

It is too early to say that he will be the next ethereum because they haven't done anything yet and everything is only on paper.
Pretty early! Just because the market was pumped does not mean it won't go back down and we all know the reason was because it was listed on bittrex. People these days judge a project based on the value going up and not the main idea of the project, how good the team are and how well they can really get things done. So many coins have tried this kind of shit in the past and where are they now ?
1967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 27, 2017, 05:48:28 PM
You should have large amount of bitcoin to make day trading worthwhile because the movement is just a few pips and you have to cover charges and everything. Maybe a 5 to 10 BTC would be enough to make a decent daily earnings from trading.
I don't think the high amount of coins is really necessary to have to trade. I know that people wish to earn as much as it is possible, but I would be satisfied with making of 20-30$ daily, it it like my daily costs, I suppose many people will agree, especially people from those countries where the life is actually not so expansive. Bitcoin change it's price so often that such low amount of profit trading can become really sucessful and possible to everyone.
The fact that someone is from a region where life is not so expensive does not mean one can limit oneself. The thing is that it depends on your knowledge and how much you really have to trade with anyway. So in this case, if you have both, then you can make as much as you want and set up a good life for yourself in the long run. $20-$30 is quite small to earn daily though no matter where you are from.
1968  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: December 26, 2017, 06:09:20 PM
to my opinion, that is normal action when people have so much money and have not thing to do so they choose to buy cryptocurrencies with their own real money and hold for long term profit, also many transactions nowadays need real money pay in to buy cryptos.
If people are not even buying, the value will not be increasing hugely.
Yes, we may say they are not buying too much, but looking at the population of the globe and the rate at which new investors are coming in and registering in all these exchanges, and then we can say that they are taking the huge part while some of the big firms are also taking from their own part. Just very few people even know they can earn.
1969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont like daytrading on: December 26, 2017, 05:31:17 PM
Day trading is so risky that some traders don't even attempt to do it as a means of making a living. The larger the time-frame the safer your money.

Daily trading people earn money, many people are borrowing and trying to make short-term trading. As a result, short-term trading can sometimes be profitable. Sometimes there are good opportunities daily.
Not like they cannot be profitable, but they can be a huge risk. The opportunities are big though and once you are careful enough to know how to handle yourself in your short trade, then you can make some pretty huge bucks.

I am not a day trader and I really do not even have the time to do that, with positioning trading though, which seems a lot better for me as I really do not need to do much while expecting a comeback for the market.

Day trading is like one of the most risky types of trading one can ever do. Most times, I prefer to just invest than day trading. Trading on its own is a huge job, let alone day trading. Except you have a strong mind for huge risk, or you really can forfeit some of your cash, then this is not for a sane person without some crazy technical skills and you just have to be alert to be able to make quick decisions on your trade.
1970  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the next big thing? on: December 26, 2017, 10:53:08 AM
We must invest Bitcoin today because we will never know when the price goes up again. We all know the price is very unpredictable, sometimes the price will go up and down in just a day. But that is normal so don't panic if the price is decreasing but instead take that as opportunity to buy additional investment and hold for a long period of time until you reached you desired income. Many peola believe that the price of Bitcoin will rise by next year as speculated and they see the benefit of it. Bitcoin helped many people who made their better by trading so we also want to experience that. Just invest now to Bitcoin and hold.
No one can absolutely know that and it is good that we at least have some good level of sanity for a while now before we will start seeing some real big value later on. I still believe adoption has not really grown, and once the main value of bitcoin as currency starts, then we will see the main reason why a lot of people still start kicking in gradually.

I am sure bitcoin is already the big thing and it is just a matter of time before we start seeing the reality kick in.
1971  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Will Change Everything on: December 26, 2017, 08:16:01 AM
Now the unconfirmed transactions have settled and not causing the transaction fees to be so high inorder to get your transactions to actually send we should be able to get to business and have bitcoin get back to normal now coming into the new year.
That is normal. We cannot expect transactions to lag for life and with the rate of adoption, the rate at which transactions increase every day, we cannot expect it not to still happen until we see the end of the scaling problem.
All the above, this is becoming a regular thing anyway and that should not be a huge problem as we go on, since it is known that the developers are really working hard to make this work and we believe it surely will once the LN is deployed.
1972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is going down. on: December 26, 2017, 07:37:49 AM
if we think that the events of today are almost the same as the events of a year ago, maybe this is the Christmas trend and the new year that makes people must hold cash to celebrate.

i dont think its the same as the last years december because some people said that bitcoin has increased on the last december 2016 but bitcoin on this december 2017 has decrease dramatically due to the cause of correction however holidays season has also the other factor and reason on why bitcoin has going for a dip thesedays. yet it is still a win win situation for most of us because now is the perfect time to buy and horde more bitcoins.
Holiday or no holiday, bitcoin really had a very huge increase this year that normally nothing really warranted it except that some people just got so greedy but it is all good, it is not something that was not meant to happen anyway and it is not that it would remain the same way for life. Bitcoin will still increase in value over time, which is just normal.

There are only rumors that it is because of the holiday season whrre people are selling their Bitcoin to buy gifts for their selves. So transactions are getting high in that case which makes the demand and its value low. So probably it is the main reason.
Those are just some rumors that we all know it is not true. How much do you want to cash out to spend for Christmas, but whichever way, let us assume that was even the case, the gospel truth is that this would have happened and the way the whole thing happened anyway, really made some sense as this was really needed to be able to bring sanity back to the market.
1973  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: December 26, 2017, 06:11:53 AM
people trust in bitcoin more than before all hold them btc and all buy more bitcoin.
we will find bitcoin break many numbers soon
In as much as we had greedy people who kicked into the system late this year, we still have some true believers who believed in what they have invested in which is the future and we should always input that as well in our thoughts. A lot are still holding and I believe the strength of the community will keep up with the bears anyway.

For now, I still have the feelings the bears are not done anyway, and I really want to see how this would end, but there is really no need for panic as market will be back to normal anyway.
1974  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best dip price to buy more? on: December 25, 2017, 02:22:33 PM
With this... "bump in the road" as some are calling it, the price is all over the place but hovering at 13-14k. What do you guys think will be the bottom? Where are you planning on getting some more bits?
If it gets to $12,000 again, buy more, if there is a chance for a breakout, and then better buy more as we will start a new bull trend from there.

This may go on for some days before we start seeing chances to buy in back, but for now, if you are really looking for some bottom, you may just have to follow the trend and be careful of fake breakouts. This is a good support though but one cannot really say yet until totally sure.
1975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: December 25, 2017, 01:01:52 PM
my first time in gambling, I cannot win at all even I lose some bits but in that time, I am curious about how to win until I search the tutorial to win dice game. but after I search more, I cannot any guiding or tutorial and I decided that I only want to use the rewards from the faucet to place a bet.

I could say that my first time in gambling was great. I made a lot of profits everyday by just using the free satoshis in the gambling sites, I'm not expecting that by the way, I was surprised, but after a several days of making some profits, everything turns around and I'm not winning anymore, so I decided to quit gambling because it would be just a waste of time to continue gambling if I'm not winning.

I would say my early days were good because i lost my first bet but subsequently won a great deal and began to like it and learnt all the rudiments of sports betting and the rest they say is history. I am now two years into it and i am ok with the statistics regarding my profits and losses.
Hmm. You must be a very lucky person. I only had a good experience when I started and I wish the following ones were that good. It is fun though, but losing most of the times have never really been, and I am really just considering dropping online gambling pretty soon as there is really no point anyway. I can have lot of fun without having to gamble, even if I want to force myself to consider it as fun. Easier said than done.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to advertise gambling site on: December 25, 2017, 11:27:59 AM
I am sure you can find the best place to advertise gambling site and this forum is one of that way. you can use the article directory and add your site in that site. you can use third party service to help you to promote your site. you can create a thread on any forum so people will know about your site.
He would not even get it in a better place than this forum. This is the forum where everyone wants to make money, all crypto gamblers can be found and where those who think they can make pretty huge money in gambling are and with that, just a signature campaign with a budget for every year should just be considered cause as long as the community keeps growing, new gamblers will always keep coming.
1977  Economy / Speculation / Re: 45% drop - this is new territory, never seen before on: December 24, 2017, 12:45:40 PM
Bitcoin barely existed a single decade, so we have very little data to compare this correction to. This drop just once again showed how volatile crypto is, like you said. It just simply dropped faster compared to past corrections as we went up more than 2x in a single month. Probably just a healthy correction in my opinion due to all the hype bitcoin has been getting over the news and social media.
Bitcoin is highly volatile and that simply shows why should stop acting FOMO-ish, thinking they have hit a jackpot with bitcoin.

Bitcoin was never meant to be a get rich quick scheme and sure, with a good demand for bitcoin, it can attain a huge height, but right now, there is not even enough reason for bitcoin to keep increasing in that manner except for the fact that every newbie just wanted to get rich overnight which is not done anywhere.
1978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Some Speculating Bitcoin To Crash? on: December 24, 2017, 09:34:27 AM

I could not understand why there are those who are also in Bitcoin yet are predicting that Bitcoin can go as low as $3,000 or even  $5,000 when a crash can happen soon. I am not saying that a dip -- a big dip -- will never happen but considering the things happening right now in the world of cryptocurrency, I don't believe that it can go as low as those figures.

Maybe if one day USA will decide to follow the footsteps of Japan in banning Bitcoin trading activities, then maybe it can be possible that Bitcoin can crash big time but even then it can still be able to recover fast due to people always waiting for an opportunity to buy Bitcoin cheaply.

Are you expecting Bitcoin to get so low once it crashed?
There are many reasons for why that could happen there are many people that are holding bitcoin for the long term but prefer to FUD the forum and see the newbies dropping their coins and then they can get those coins for cheap so as you can see their strategies makes complete sense to them.
If that is the case, then the panic selling of the newbies is caused by naiveness. Newbies decided to find ways to earn bitcoin even if they do not completely understand what they are doing. Their mistakes are maybe caused by the narrow knowledge they have. I am once a newbie and before I decided to do trading, I asked some other people first and do research. I have experienced failures but I don't dwell with it long since the time for improvement is long. Trading is not easy and if you have little knowledge about it you will always end up not earning.
Apparently, most of the newbies does not even have the single knowledge of what they are investing into and what they just want is profit and for them to get rich quickly in no time.

It is crazy thing and that is why the speed of the value of bitcoin in a short period was just a crazy one and I am not surprised that a lot of them would end up quickly cashing out of panic when they see the other side of profit happening to their funds.

Speculating about crash has always been the way of the media and some of the whales who are looking for those who can easily panic while they get back in at the point where they have been waiting to cash in more for profit. They believe that if someone is not losing somewhere, they are not going to be gaining anything and that has really made them to use this style in getting some weak hands off the market.
1979  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i lost 20% of my budget on: December 24, 2017, 08:13:18 AM
why are all these cryptocurrencies are going down?

Most likely you are new to trading in general because if you understand trading you would know right away that correction is inevitable. If you bought on the peak price and sold it at the bottom then you need to rethink your strategy. Always have a game plan when doing a trade because if you do not have one you will lose not only 20% but 100% of your budget. Do more research about technical analysis or at least the very basic of candle sticks. Try to also research wave patterns.

Also be cool and do not be emotional this seems easier said than done but if you become emotionally unattached to your trading you will be a better trader.
Most people always panic at first when they are new to trading. However, it is always good to have a strategy.
Trading is more like; 'if this happens, I expect this to happen' and with that it would be so easy to make decisions on your trading without making too much huge loss and making some good profit. We have all been there but the good thing is to always be patient.
1980  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: December 23, 2017, 07:49:52 PM
I have always admired the goals of everyone in the community behind crypto about decentralisation. That won't go away. The people investing in bitcoin may only be interested in money but its the successful developers creating new dapps and protocols who are the ones who provide the direction. I think the existing culture will continue to dominate. I really do hope this decentralised model eventually emerges successful, its the world I want to see. One where power is more equitably distributed and people have greater control over their lives and futures.
That can never go away. It is here to stay and it always will. Even if everyone is busy going crazy about the value and trying to act all FOMOish, that would not change the belief that most people have already about bitcoin.

Yes, we may be having some scaling issue, but I believe one day, all these will be resolved and the whole idea of decentralization and having things running smoothly without the banks will be there, but for now, I guess we can in our little way, start changing the world gradually.
