Just wondering, would it be possible for one or more of these group buy units to be hosted, and if so what are the hosting fees ?
Yes. Usual hosting fee's per our site. Note the terms of the "Farmer's choice":
2 Months free hosting or free shipping. Afterwards, 500$/month (it's 2.5KW system)

Thanks for reply.

I didn't have time to tread thread as I found out about your site jsut before calling it a night.
I wanted confirmation replies from people who received any miners with performance feedback :-)
I noticed on the website that the 1st Batch of SP 10 has been already sold/shipped so I presumed someone must have got it already :-)
I read last few pages of thread and there were few confirmations from customers. That's all I needed

Just one example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.msg5948815#msg5948815
Please go over the thread for many more. Don't have time to dig them.

How comes I have missed this company.

Is it legit or a scam? :-)

Have you even attempted to read any post from this thread? Or are you blindly willing to rely on words form strangers?

QG

Spondoolies... is batch2 shipped yet please?
Last shipping for batch2 (April) will be tomorrow.

The scuttlebutt from somebody who's been to their office there near the Gaza Strip with the two abandoned buses out front, assures me that they're the real McCoy, in spite of not having an office comparable to some ritzy place. (again, not a diss, but letting you and them know that I'm keeping a pretty good eye on them)

~Bruno Kucinskas

One abandoned bus, which we really don't understand it's purpose. It's not out front but about 200 meters. It's out front HP Indigo more or less.
Anyway, we're 400 meters from Intel 22nm FAB, so it's not that deserted place.
We're about 25 KM from Gaza strip, not in any disputed territory.

We're legit. Go buy some miners:

If we do hosting with you and then choose we no longer want to use your hosting will you ship us the unit  for just the cost of shipping?
Yes
Do you have any plans for leasing rigs and using your hosting?
Not at the moment.

The plans are:
- Buy and Ship
- Buy and Host in Israel and then Ship (at the end of term)
- Buy and Ship and then Host abroad

Maybe we'll add more plans in the future.

I guess more "investors" are needed for the Boden facility(http://thenodepole.com/2014/02/06/knc-miner-to-build-10-mw-datacenter-in-the-node-pole/):

https://www.kncminer.com/products/neptune-thrid-batch
https://www.kncminer.com/products/mini-neptune-third-batch

Questions for you:
- What's 1 month after Q2/Q3 ?
- Why the change of policy regarding refunds ?

It's sad.

You have been asking us lately to offer more options when it came to payments on pre-orders.

We want you to be able to secure the best units for future mining, while keeping your own risks at checks.

Starting today and only in April we are offering new and improved payment terms!

1.      40% in advance, 60% when your unit is ready for shipment

2.      40% in advance, 60% converted into Bitcoin and paid when the unit is ready for shipment.

3.      10% discount for upfront payment

These options allow you to better protect yourselves against changes in the Bitcoin exchange rate.

Think the Bitcoin value is going to drop? Chose the second option and convert the reminder of your payment to Bitcoin in today’s value.

Think the value will rise? Choose to pay your reminder in US dollars.

We will record whichever option you choose and charge you accordingly. On payment of the 60%, you can still choose to pay with Bitcoin, US dollars, or Euros. We will convert the amount in our record to the desired payment methods.

These options will now be available when purchasing a single Yukon unit or the 3 X SP30 Farmer's choice deal.

Example:

Current Bitcoin value is 1 BTC = $440. The average exchange rate over the two weeks prior to delivery is 1 BTC = $100. If you purchase the farmers choice at $20,995 you will pay 40% in advance which are $8,398.

You chose the first option
The reminder 60% which are $12,597 are stored in our records and emailed to you. Before your shipment is ready you will be asked to pay this amount and can choose to pay it in US dollars, Euros, or Bitcoin. If you choose Bitcoin and the new exchange rate is 1 BTC = $100 you will be asked to pay 125.97 BTC.
What happens if the value of Bitcoin raises to 1 BTC = 1000$? Well, in that case if you chose to pay with Bitcoin you only need to pay 12.597 BTC.

You chose the second option
We convert the reminder 60% which are $12,597 to Bitcoin using the current exchange rate. This leaves 28.63 BTC to be paid before shipping.
As before, you can chose to pay with Bitcoin, US dollars or Euros. With the exchange rate given in this example, this will translate into only $2,863

We believe this is a great tool for you to insure yourself against changes in the exchange rate and rolls most of the risk back to us.

Do you prefer a simpler method with one payment? No problem, you can always take the 10% discount and know that you are covered in any case.

All options are available in a drop down menu in the products page:

http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/3-x-sp30-yukon-august-batch

http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/sp30-yokon

The options can be found right above the "Add to cart" button:

1974  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive SpondooliesTech SP10 Setup & Review on: April 14, 2014, 12:23:56 PM
1.3 Th/s for many US folks (110V) now...  Cry
For 110V: It should be around 1.35 TH/s with 0.8 W / GH/s ratio.
Well within the 1.4 TH/s +- 10% published spec.
There are however some variants between each miner, due to different ASICs corners.
The fact that we're using 192 ASICs in each miner should decrease the variance, unlike some other vendors.

We're still tweaking the firmware.

I'm not touching it until Zvi's response.
Due to Passover, please expect a slower respond time.

We fad to add limitations for 110V for FCC compliance.
Since we are open source SW you can of course override FCC compliance at your responsibility.
I will post the guidelines on how to do that (at your responsibility) in a couple of days (we have the Passover tomorrow).

Is this only an RFI issue or could the higher current draw also be a safety issue?

It's a safety issue. We won't post such guidelines to comply with the regulations.
Under 110V, the miner is designed to give a bit less than 1.4 TH/s with ~0.8 W/Gh/s ratio.
Well within the published 1.4 TH/s +- 10% in our web site.

Since we open source everything, you may select to change the firmware yourself, but it will void the warranty and we can't take responsibility for it.

Guy

To clarify, i never change/modify the firmware. All my SP10s come with 1.2.7 which doesnt have the power limit.

Anyway, i'm having 240v wires setup next week. Which was my plan anyway, since 240v is more efficient .

Understood.

I have not looked at a few pages in thread, but has shipping price gone down?  I really want to get 2x Dawsons but if I remember correctly it was $700 or $800 per unit to the US.  Has it gotten any better?

I know of a particular white Porsche that will be on the lift in front of my mining farm that I could host it on for awhile LOL!  Wink

Just to clarify, the price of shipping is for 2 units or 28KG.

We can also offer cheaper and slower shipping, please contact us at sales@spondoolies-tech.com

Like I said my home town is

http://www.grok.org.uk/full-disclosure/fdfaq.html

for many years since its inception.

All I asked was for a comprehensive reason where I should park my dollars. All I get in response is moderating, deletion of my posts, bannings of my sign ing.l

Like I said to the other fella lest I be in the mood, I can cavalcade at my whim, any and all  mechanical requirements that I see fit.

I once again ask humbly for the umpteenth time:

oh look you deleted it

Yeah that singular question.

I repeat my claim, which is true. The moderators can check. The only posts I've deleted were my owns.
Do your calculation and decide whether you want to buy or not.

Regards,
Guy
