after bitmain cointerra is shipping  from stock 1.6 th for 3.700.

so the time of faking customers and making them to kind of investomers, where all the risks of companys operations are given to the customer without profiting of his gain ARE OVER. I do hope no one will ever be fooled of preorders.

No pre-pay, no hoping of 'can they deliver in time', will the palastina conflict harm my delivery time without - for each day of delay compensation.

I do hope you can start selling your miners regularly and stop collecting money from the community.

We've never faked a customer. Cointerra and Bitmain were discussed at length in the thread.

If you're not interested in buying our products, no one is forcing you.

a question for you:

this :http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/2-units-of-sp10-dawson-may-batch

is this 2.8 TH/s for $7,995?

SP10 is actually ~1.5TH/s, In addition we offer 10% discount with a proof of a previous purchase from other vendor. Just send an email to sales@spondoolies-tech.com with a proof of purchase and get a coupon.

Question: Is overclocking allowed if we are hosting our miners with you? What is the top speed of overclocking? Perhaps you would charge customers extra to overclock since it takes more electricity and creates heat? I can understand if you cannot accommodate overclocking. I think you are doing a great job spondoolies!

Thank you. Hosted machine will give between 1.4 THs to 1.5THs, dependent on the specific ASICs within the machines. There are 192 of those, so it tends to average on just below 1.5THs

I think that the page is clear, 2 SP10 for the price of $7,995
Apply for the 10% coupon to reduce the price.

Is there an estimated timeline available for Spondoolies to catch up with demand for their products and move to a shipping model that doesn't include pre-orders?

Built-To-Order aren't pre-orders.

So my guess is that Spondoolies will be contacting us directly with payment instructions?

Don't worry, we'll email you. It's weekend in Israel now.
Our sale admin got the final xls from RoadStress and she'll email you on Sunday.

Thank you all for your paticipation! I really enjoyed organizing this. I think that Spondoolies Tech have shown their commitment of helping the community and I think that it is important to support honest and dedicated manufacturers.
I will try to bring miners more promotions from Spondoolies (and also from any other honest manufacturer) and I hope to see you all participating because your requests didn't go unheard and by doing this I am also making sure that scammers and liars will have less and less customers and that makes my heart warm and fuzzy Smiley
Happy August mining to all participants!

P.S. I will be offline for the next couple of days to take a break from everything. It was a bit exhausting but it was a fun ride. If you have any issues please contact directly Spondoolies-Tech or just wait until I return. When I will be back I will sort things out. Donations, refunds and everything else will also go out next week.

RoadStress - big thank you from all of us at Spondoolies-Tech
Amazing idea, amazingly organised!

1811  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Question about hosting on: April 30, 2014, 08:32:28 PM
What is the warranty period you offer on new miners?
What is the process to return the miner back to you to fix it?
Do you send spare parts with instructions on self-fix or everything has to be done by you?

Our TOS: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/pages/terms-of-sale

90 Days warranty.
We'll do cross shipment.
We'll do the fixing our self. In case of highly technical customer, we might guide him/her.

Until today, we didn't have to recall any miner. There were some minor issues we were able to solve remotely.
The system has a lot of redundancy built in, which allow compensation for problems like problematic ASIC(s).

For bulk customers, we did ship spare parts (like PSU, or even a miner if the order is large enough > 100)
The PSU MTBF is 5 years...

Hosting:
Have you thought about providing extended warranty for your hosted miners?
If I start with a hosting plan - I can just stop it whenver I want - pay you for shipping and send it out to me?

Interesting idea. We'll think about it for August time frame (SP30 in WA DC). Probably for additional cost.
The WA DC deal has 6 months minimum. For the Israeli DC - yes, you can stop hosting, pay for shipping and we'll ship it to wherever you'll choose.

you still have time to buy more by joining in current group buy sale before it closes in 3 hours.
While that is a great sales pitch, in reality every customer only has limited funds available, and unless he bought 50 units now, which would make overpaying by 4,5k on one unit a very minor disadvantage, he is still at a huge loss compared to every other customer as of now.

What do you recommend to community member "anarchy" who bought 22 of these bundles?
Place another 220 orders?

Again, the first customers also "payed" with more trust and punishing them for believing in a company wouldn´t be the right move in my opinion.

I am not demanding anything, i just hope that spondoolies will decide on offering these customers something to make them equally likely to ROI on their investment like everyone else.

March SP10 + July SP30 are completely different products from May SP10 + August SP30, with or without group buy prices (which won't return)
Having said that, if you're unsatisfied, please contact sales@

Anarchy already did quite a lot BTCs from his March units. Hashing happily in a DC in Europe.
1813  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Special Group Buy - Spondoolies-Tech SP30 pre-order] Specs: 0.69$/GH + 0.46W/GH on: April 30, 2014, 08:03:24 PM
@spondoolies

Will there be some kind of bonus for the guys who bought the first sp10/sp30 bundle? They payed around 9000$ per sp30 and those are now only 4500$.

These are your most loyal customers, who trusted you from the start and put their money where their mouth was.

Essentially they payed double the amount for only 2 weeks earlier delivery....

By the way is this a theoretical question or you are really in this position? Speaking in 3rd person is a bit confusing.
I am really in this position but i also (think I) speak for everyone who is in the similar one.

I also know of a community member who bought more than 10 early bird bundles and he essentially just gifted them in excess of 45000$ if they dont provide any bonus/ coupon etc.

Edit: as far as i know "anarchy" ordered 22 bundles at list price. You can probably see that for us customers, this doesn´t amount to any small sum.

I hope you don´t see me as some troll who asks hypothetical questions like what would happen if the world were flat... This is a serious sum and hence a very valid concern and question for many of us.

You are the only one that has complained so far. I have a bundle just like you and i'm fine with it, and it seems that there is someone else in my position too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.msg6478207#msg6478207
I don't see you as a troll. I asked for clarification because of the way you expressed your problem. If "anarchy" ordered 22 bundles and doesn't complain then it means that he is satisfied with his choice. As far as i see it you are the only one that has an issue with this so there is no need to point it to other customers.
I am not arguing with you, but why don't you send them an e-mail to sales@ to try to work this out?

Just because somebody doesn´t publically complain doesn´t mean he is satisfied with his situation. The statement in reference to his person was only meant as an example.
The post you have linked to actually seems to be more on my side of the argument, stating that he finds it unusual for groupbuys (shipped by the manufacturer and with only one unit as the lowest order) to offer such massive discounts.

I took to the forums because I thought spondoolies would reply to my inquiries in a publically verifiable manner, and wanted to provide anyone in the similar situation food for thought.

Although I don´t see it as logical that you are content with paying twice the price for your slightly earlier sp30, maybe justifying a higher price of around 20%, I am glad for you.

I have now sent them an email to try and get a response on the topic.

It might have been wrong starting this on the forums.
However, i wanted to point out the sort of problems that come with surprisingly big discounts, as it leaves a bad taste in the mouth for everyone who assumed to have gotten a good deal before.
I therefore think this deserves an honest discussion.

Again, we are talking about a 50% price reduction here.

Why do I need to elaborate on AM BS ? Am I a SH ? Do I wait for dividends ?

You don't necessarily have to but im just asking since you made the claim.

Seems like another delay / excuse to keep the SH un-agitated

To be honest:
There are some production level possibilities. High risk, minimal gain. Won't elaborate here.

We've tested, we can do 12GHs with Hammer. We're EOL hammer in June, since RockerBox is much, much better.

i just want to say, it is unbelievable to make such an awesome experience with your company so far.
It's such a blessing to work with you in contrast to your competitors.

We got final post layout engine results from GUC.
The ASIC is at 0.35 W/GHs, which means that the system is at 0.43 W/GHs

Under 2700 Watt (total from the 2 PSUs), the system will be ~6.3 THs
Our commitment is still to 5.4 THs +- 10% as published in the web site.

Are you talking with chances??

Aren't we all? Unless you have a magic crystal ball then you don't know what the future will hold.

Since you won't take the bet let's revert to name calling. If SP-Tech delivers on time and on spec i will call you as i wish(maybe troll). If SP-Tech won't deliver on time and spec feel free to call me as you wish. Deal?

Sorry I didn't know the bet was directed towards me. I'd be happy to take the bet but not for 1btc. That is too much for me to gamble especially because I think that out of all the asic manufacturers, SP has the best chance of delivering on time and on spec. But I still find it unlikely.

So if you want to bet here would be my terms:

- 0.1btc donated to seansoutpost (loser pays)
- SP must deliver their entire August batch no later than 1 week after August.
- SP30 specs must reach a minimum of 5th/machine and 0.4w/gh (efficiency must be reached above 5th)

Deal?

LOL? So wait. First you claim that they won't deliver in time and in spec and now you chicken out? Let's make it 0.5 BTC+free name calling. 0.4w/gh? How did you came up with that? It's not what they announced and it's not in their specs. If you agree on 0.5w/GH then we can do it, but you are requesting a better efficiency than advertised. Minimum 5TH and 0.5w/gh and we have a deal.

Indeed, we're at 0.35 W/GHs at the ASIC level and below 0.5 W/Ghs at the system level (Working on our DC2DC design so we'll be below 0.45 W/Ghs at the system level)

I've mistaken in reading jimmothy post. I've assume he is referring to below 0.4 W/GHs in the ASIC level.

No Additional costs other than one-time setup fee and the Monthly fee (with a commitment to a Min of 6 Months).

Correct

Any Import Duty added to the Price for the Hosting Country.

No

Other than Power and an Internet connection (remote to miner interface), do we get any Touch Labour support if miner stops working, or is the Cost to the Miners (me) to pay to get it fixed if it breaks within the 90 Day Warranty.

No cost to the miner if it breaks within 90 day warranty

Is the Warranty extended for the Life of the Hosting Package.

No

What's the SLA for response if I can not get connectivity to my Miner.

We'll finalize this detail before August. Our intention is to have SLA of 24 X 7, but we can't commit to it now.
It's a real DC, hosting non Bitcoin servers as well, so they know how to do 24 X 7
