Hopefully they will in the future. Does Amazon accept PP?

i think they do  the processing themselves ,ive only registered my card once with amazon.com

...

You're whiteknighting for a company that has cost people literally hundreds of thousands in revenue. As the guy you quoted states, it's ok for companies to have a problem every now and again. Cryptsy has had the same problems for MONTHS. They do not address them. They do not answer tickets. They do not respond to 10,000+ forum threads all saying the same thing. They just keep adding more coins which is COMPOUNDING the problem. They might not be intentionally scamming, but they surely are not competent enough to run an exchange with that much volume. Have you seen the image of their servers? My single gaming PC could DDoS it into the ground. Essentially, they've strapped 30" rims to a Toyota Yaris and aren't addressing the fact that it won't drive in a straight line.

No NOT for months. Only this last month. Ever since all you fools (bitches) came rushing in and started trading without doing much if any due diligence. Not to mention realizing that trading at all under such circumstances is not always going to result in good outcomes.

I have traded at Cryptsy for a while now. I had to sit out the better part of this month because of all the fools rushing in! That cost me a ton of money. But I haven't complained about it at all. Until now I haven't even mentioned it. And it's all these newbe bitches fault! But I didn't whine or complain. I simply stepped back and let others take their chances while I stood clear. Cause I knew damn well the system might totally crash. It didn't, and I for one was amazed it didn't totally crash.

Then I did what I had to do mid month, and got it all done. Many deposits, many trades, a few new issues, and again many withdrawals Off peak times, while these bitches were getting their beauty sleep. And with enough dry powder left at Cryptsty so that during the last correction I was locked and loaded and ready for action, if the occasion arose. It did. Success was had. I haven't had any of the issues these fools, as well as a few unfortunate others have had.

I didn't have any negative balance issues. Because I stated fully aware of how much I traded and how much should be left over. I knew when the count was incorrect and held back cause I knew the funds were really already gone but lagging in the system. It's called paying attention.

I didn't lose any funds for any long period of times. Just during lag periods. And only one slow deposit, and one failed withdrawal that another attempt quickly resolved mid December. At the end of November is when all hell broke loose. Before that everything at Cryptsy was great. This hasn't been going on for months. Lies such as that get my attention and draw me out to rip new assholes into those that fully deserve it!

I don't appreciate all these newbies rushing in and jamming up our favorite watering hole (Cryptsy). And then bitching like little bitches always bitch when things don't go perfectly well, all while their the very one's rushing in demanding to get in front of everyone that was already there, and ruining it for everyone else cause they can't seem to realize that the system is lagging, and that they need to adjust to the fact that if they trade too much to quick and don't realize they over-traded, and that now they have negative balances. And then bitch, scream, moan and complain and cause all kinds of trouble for EVERYONE else. All because their stupid.

As for the missing deposits and withdrawals. That is a real bitch. I have great sympathy for anyone suffering from that issue. But so far everyone has been made whole that I am aware of. But it sometimes takes a while, sadly. My slowest deposit has been 12 or so hours. Only 2 slow deposits out of over a dozen deposits since December 1st. Withdrawals were not fretted over. I don't even fire up the Qt wallet's PC until a day or two later at the earliest and then check off all the incoming. All always come in. And when I do immediately check, they usually arrive quickly then too. I just can't believe all these candy ass bitches whining here.

A few have serious issues. That need serious, fast, swift attention. But most here are candy ass bitches that need to be kicked out of Cryptsy for being unworthy patrons.

So it's all Cryptsy's fault? NO. It's all the fault of everyone rushing into to trading things that they don't understand, know little about, and have far too much mad money, and far too little sense.

As the saying goes: A fool and his money is soon departed. Well, how do you like the results so far?

See, some of us have cleaned up, made exponential gains. And then we're required to wait, watch, laugh, and grit our teeth as you bitches cost us real serious money over this last month. It wasn't and isn't Cryptsy's fault, but instead you bitches fault's. All while you bitches complain like candy asses; relentlessly whining and moaning and blaming everyone but yourselves.

So by all means, coming from a fellow customer of theirs; don't let the Cryptsy door hit your ass on the way out. Go elsewhere. PLEASE. And please, by all means DON'T bother ever coming back with your spare change and little else. The more serious traders that have long since utilized Cryptsy really want to resume the way it used to be before all these bitches just like yourselves showed up with spare change and ruined a great thing that worked well up until a month ago.

RE: That "months..." lie: my ass. I for one get livid over lying candy ass bitches. Can one tell that from my tone here yet?

No, Cryptsy didn't cause anyone to lose money. Just lost opportunity due to technical limitations. Bitches. And I blame the candy ass bitches for that. Not Cryptsy. Their just doing what businesses do. (trying to make a profit while trying to make their customers satisfied).

And this coming from a person that hardly ever states anything worse than word hell, when online!

FUCK THESE BITCHES. FUCK THESE BITCHES. FUCK THESE BITCHES. is that clear enough Bitches? Fuck off you candy ass, johnny come lately bitches!

Or does that door need to slam you in your ass so that you get the message? Let's hope not! But hey, I am all for Cryptsy to start closing accounts left and right and sending all these fools and their money's to another Exchange! Pronto.

Merry Christmas...Bitches.

Caveat emptor - let the buyer Cryptsy users   beware!

Says "he wants them back". Well that means he's given them up already  Huh

they might have his laptop showing the coin balance  but not the password  to spend the coins ?

yeah, quite likely, could do with some clarity on this. Its intriguing

i believe he has travelled around the world in the years silk rd was running  and was applying for a new
citizenship in another country when they caught him

he could easily have left a cd or usb key  in a foreign country with a few encrypted wallet files on it while travelling

its not difficult to rent a safe  deposit box or even a mailbox  in many  countries with just cash which maybe where the
other 500,000 btc are  Cheesy

according to the techchrunch story yesterday, his lawyers were asking for the coins *back*, so lord only knows what is actually occurring.

i think the 140,000 coins were the from  SR escrow wallet belonging to the customers and sellers (not DPRs wages )
investigators  have the transaction history of SR so
they  say  DPR made around  650,000 btc in his three years

he was likely the richest  man in the btc world bar satoshi

dont tell me to shut the fuck up or go away

Shut the fuck up and go away. I just said it again. It's the internet, deal with it.  Roll Eyes

How do you expect a handful of people to answer a 10,000 tickets a day over the same bullshit? You aren't dealing with Amazon. Cryptsy is a small business, and yeah, maybe he is mismanaging it, but filing ticket after ticket after ticket, whining on the forums, and trying to get wannabe politicians who want to make a name for themselves involved is stupid. Some of you are just willing to cry to anyone that will listen, even if it does nothing to help your situation. If you called the law down on me, I'd make sure your's would be the last account that gets paid out.

The more of you that pull out, the smoother the system will go for the rest of us until the upgrades are done. Works for me. In the mean time, I was smart enough not to put thousands of dollars worth of coins at a time in there, and am not stressing over any of it. I put my coins in for trade, make my trade and pull out. It's those of you with the ridiculous buy/sell walls at unrealistic prices that are hoping to extract a profit from currency trading that are nerd-raging at the moment, and it's hilarious.  Grin

So many of you are crying about him not "talking" to you about it. He told you already. Upgrades are on the way, equipment is being shipped in, staff is being trained. You're just pretty damned impatient. Will you out on some good trades? Yes, quite possibly. Have you actually lost your deposits? Unlikely. It's a risk you took, knowing for weeks that there was problems to deposit your coins there. Now you cry when you can't get them immediately. If BTCe was so much better, why do you have your coin at Cryptsy? Right....

why dont you shut the fuck up and go away ?
why defend a corrupt or dysfunctional business unlesss your a shill for them
which seems pretty likely from your defensive posts lol

they are fucking around or else theyre just fuckwits that shouldnt be even trying
to  run a business like an exchange  and their  incompetence is costing everyone money

fix  it or fuck off Smiley

1968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest $10,000 into Quark or Dogecoin? on: December 24, 2013, 09:58:45 PM
Quark looks good, but if you want really make investment - buy ProtoShares

@ $19 or so for protoshares..... they have no real room for expansion in the near future. Sure, it could double in price, but so could litecoin. And probably will.
I'm looking for something I can get for cheap now, and make 100,000 x my investment off in the not too distant future.  Wink

if you want to make 100,000x initial investment fast forget about coins already  in the top ten
start looking at the outsiders with potential that are worth almost nothing at the moment but with
a solid foundation or potential attributes to grow mainstream is your only options for gains like that
and even then ud need lady luck on your side

I like your analysis here. Have any particular coins in mind, yourself?

to be perfectly honest with you
id have to say no
not because there isnt such a coin  out there but only because i havent really analysed  the 100+ alt coins in detail

there maybe such a coin out there but at your ratio $1 in =$100,000 out
i dont know if those returns are possible
theres just  too many  competeing coins to make such a gamble with any confidence at all
but thats just my opinion
every miner will promote  his coin as the next best thing to btc  but the general public will have to go mainstream
on one coin first (likely bitcoin ) before alt coins are  taken seriously enough to be the silver or the bronze in crypto
if btc suceeds in becoming an adopted virtual currency

BTW, if you guys did not know, this Lambo sucks on ice Sad

if it had german style snow tyres it would probably stick to the ice like glue
but there aint no ice in thailand anyway if you decide to bring it over

just the import taxes are a crucifix on foreign vehicles

i bought a suzuki gsx1000rr  imported from japan and it was a serious pain in the balls
to get  a greenbook and number plated in thailand involving many obstables/bribes  along the way

it was still cheaper than buying it fom suzuki thailand in the end but the hassle was so much
i wouldnt bother doin it again

1971  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Poll] How long until $1000 per 1 Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2013, 08:47:52 PM
i think  it dropped as low as $455 on some  exchanges briefly after china bounced their news off the media and caused a panic but now bck to $700 without china i dont think it will drop that low again

if i was a buyer  id be happy to get coins in the $6xx range at the moment and hold them for awhile because a lot of exciting stuff is going to happen in 2014-2016 with or without china Smiley

51% attack do not allow you to steel money from someone else.
Wrong.
It can. It can rewrite the whole blockchain.

rewrite the entire bloackchain from the genisis block until now  ? i dont think so

my undertanding was that such an attack would only work in the short term for a few recent blocks
but if the network was this vulnerable it would have happened already
1973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Concern? over 50% of miners controlled by two pools on: December 24, 2013, 08:24:40 PM
This isn't intentional - As the authority on the network (so to speak), clients will believe the pool's hashed transaction block over any other. That means the pool will win all transaction conflicts, and get the rewards.

Epic confusion.

A 51% attack is then the attacker blockchain voluntarily ignore every other blocks. An honest 51% holder would accept the blocks found by other people.

Well I'm sure as hell confused now if I weren't before. Are you talking about a blockchain fork, pseudo blockchains and such? No... wait, that can be done if the powerhouse pool wanted to do such a thing... but just to make sure I understand.... you're saying that if the pool with the majority of computing power is honest, it will accept other pools' blocks? Forgive my confusion... I just don't understand what this has to do with the price of rice in China.

[/quote]

dont believe the hype
the possibility of a  51% attack has been analysed ad hominum already and it will not result in everyones previously saved coins
being suddenly worth "nothing" as someone just claimed Cheesy
this has been talked about for years even when satoshi was still an active developer i think  and it hasnt changed the general opinoion much
if there was any chance  all the  previously mined btc would become worthless due to a 51% attack i think they would have factored it in already Smiley

its not like were talking about monkey nuts here ,people have millions or even possible billions at stake so i think theyve analysed the risk sufficiently for now anyway
1974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Official Lamborghini for bitcoin thread! on: December 24, 2013, 08:06:27 PM

thats very true ,but i stopped buying when they were close to hitting 9-10 usd
i saw the technology  and i just knew this is going to change the world unless it gets banned etc
(thats why i didnt put in every penny i had )
i have 100%  faith this technology is here to stay and i know im probably going to get a backlash
of FUD from everyone for it but BTC aint going nowehere and  wont be bending over for nobody Wink

Well buying back then was hard. The banks would actually refuse to send my money to exchanges. I managed to buy some at these low prices using a work around, but this only worked for a limited amount.

I guess I should have fought harder with my bank Tongue

i bought most of mine from intersango
i think the uk price was 6 pounds or roughly  9 usd
this was before they had banking problems and were forced to change banks a few times

since then i havent sold a coin  and they are worth about 100 x times what i paid for them at this time

intersango on the other hand still owe me about 200usd i had waiting to buy usd btc and they refuse to refund it

You messed up my quote Tongue (I fixed it here)

Anyway, my first purchase was lower than yours but I guess you bought a lot more if you're offering to pay 350 BTC for a Lambo Wink

the 9-10usd dollar btc were my last purchase of btc  ,not my first, most of my coins cost me  maybe half  that  Wink
and there is a ridiculous tax of 200 or 300% tax  on so called luxury imported  goods like vehicles  (in thailand )

goats lambo registered here would be worth a multiple of what its worth  in europe or usa so  i  think i would not only break even but maybe even profit on  resale if the costs of bringing it in and geting it registered were included in the deal

the roads  in bangkok (small streeets etc ) do not suit a lambo though ,there is too many ramps on every small sttreet  to slow down speeding motorcycles that a lambo would not have enough ground clearnace for so it would end up losing the front bumper if i tried to drive it to my house

even on my bike the exhaust scrapes the ground if i dont slow down enough and my bike has more ground clearance than a lambo and less weight as well

neither -get btc while its still cheap

Thanks. I already own some BTC, much more in value than I do in anything else.
So, I'm trying to diversify a little, that's all.

I thought about putting some into Doge, but then these facts weigh into my decision. Quark appears much more stable and well backed.
none of this  is fact but i have heard :
Quark = scam coin
it was premined to some people who own it can shake up and down the price on a whim since they are whales and you
will be a goldfish in their pond
also heard someone say it comes with malware to steal your wallet.dat files  when you install it

like to see some proof of this Cool till now all FUD talks ....

google search it then ,it hasnt happened me personally but i know of at least one person IRL  that had his BTC wallet emptied after installing a quark software (not sure  if  wallet or miner )

luckily  he only had 15 coins to lose or it could have been disastrous but caveat emptor Smiley

is nobody else suspicious that this exchange might be delaying the execution of trades to profit off price flucations
and rape the market ?  or is it just me ?

how can a system be broken every fcuking day with hundreds of confirmations and orders not executed until prices have changed signigifigantly ,sometimes by near an order of magantude

i get it that shit happens to  even the best of "companies" can have a problem ,but it seems like at Cryptsy its more like a miracle if shit doesnt happen on any particular day and thousands of transactions dont get fucked up often costing customers a loss of their funds etc

Understand that *you* aren't the only one having problems. I couldn't pull coins out at all last night, but I'm not whining about it.

When the price swings and the trades slow down because of it, the system recovers and catches up. That's why it seems like it does. Think of the order of magnitude that orders are happening now on Cryptsy. Vern is very likely making a massive payout just on trading fees. There is no reason whatsoever for him to have an incentive to slow them down at all. Any even tiny amount of scam involved in that would come at the cost of a loss in trading fees because orders aren't getting executed or aren't getting placed because the system is so loaded down. SMH....

Complainers: If you don't like it, go use another damned exchange. FFS, nobody is forcing you to use Cryptsy. You're using it, because despite it's flaws, it's one of the better exchanges out there. Effing BTER won't let you trade or withdrawl to 8 digits, so they are playing the office space game and trying to pocket a million half penny transactions. *That* is a scam. BTCe won't trade in many coins. I won't touch Mtgox because my fucking email and pass got leaked on the net when they got hacked. So please, go away or STFU.

dont tell me to shut the fuck up or go away
i dont even have coins at Cryptsy and i never will lol
im only saying it like it is becaiuse im sick to death of reading Cryptsy is fucked threads every single day
its causing these guys losses of over $1000+ sometimes  even more when trades dont get executed or their
balances disappear for half a day and come back later and exucute the trade at a loss to the customer leaving him in the red
or at a loss in profits

Ctyptsy intend to take on 100,000 new customers before next week without even attending to the support
tickets of the current customers

its either irresponsible or crinimal negligence ,take your pick

your obviously defending them for some  reason or youre a sock puppet for some one who works there
