1981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 02, 2022, 11:36:39 PM
Gambling is gambling, trading is trading. They are not the same, but both are very risky. If gambling, you may not have much to learn, there are varieties of gambling games that is very easy, but if you want to trade, you have to learn it. If I should choose one, I would prefer trading, but the losses can be the same for newbies, even many people that is trading for over a long time can still be losing.

Use the amount of money that you can afford to lose to trade or gamble.
Both losses are inevitable in trading and gambling but if you have skills and strategies in trading, you will most likely end up a successful trade and be profitable. Unlike gambling, no matter how skilled you are and strategic, if you are unlucky, you will still end up losing all your money.
1982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be the reason some people are afraid to invest in Bitcon? on: September 02, 2022, 08:51:40 PM
The typical human mind initially considers the fictitious drawbacks and rejects the possibility of another type of money. However, a growing number of individuals are visiting exchanges like Binance, Primexbt, Kraken, etc. People are afraid because they were taught to be afraid as child. This is, unfortunately, what the educational system does.

I am also a victim. Wish I had joined this forum earlier.

Fear has not something to do with our educational system in the past. People fear on something maybe because they have been scammed already before and is now afraid to try again. Or it’s just that people develop fear because they are not knowledgeable on things they plan to enter. However, being educated means you were able to lessen the risk, so I think education is very essential not to develop fear either in bitcoin or in any risky investment.
1983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Money but from where on: September 01, 2022, 09:46:18 PM
If you have to work at McDonalds, go for it. Working 2-3 jobs to make ends meet to survive is common today because of the crisis. Money is everything we need more than ever.

Someone approached me that he'd cut the grass on my lawn and although I have no budget for it but because the guy seems to be needing some money, I just have to let him do it. Providing this services is a job.
If you want to make money, then you don't have to be choosy anymore and just grab a good job that is currently available because at the end of the day, you will also be compensated well that will make your ends meet possible. As long as the job offered is legal, then go for it. And also if you have spare time available, you can also find side jobs that will give you additional income so you can earn extra money too. That way, making money is never hard at all.
1984  Economy / Economics / Re: Helping others could help to improve our country's economy on: September 01, 2022, 09:17:30 PM
If only this kind of attitude runs in our DNA, there'd be much less poverty and probably no person would die out of hunger or thirst or lack of shelter. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. Yes, people help each other to a certain extent, but only when it's convenient to help.

It may not really improve the economy, but it somehow eases the burden of the country.

Near my place is a government agency which provides small assistance to the poor who are unable to pay for their hospital bills, burial fees, medicine, and so on. They will only receive a few tens of dollars after complying various requirements and falling in line for hours. Some have even travelled from afar only for this. And sometimes their requests even end up rejected. I guess the queue would be significantly shortened if sharing is something innate in us.
Helping might be too easy to say, but in reality its so hard to do especially for people who can no longer benefit from helping the poor individuals. Yes, if only it runs in our genes, helping through feeding those empty stomachs and giving shelter to those who are homeless, then the world will definitely be seen continue to progress. And the sad reality is that, most of the rich people who are more capable to help are no longer thinking of it as they are more focused on how to increase their own wealth.
1985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: August 29, 2022, 08:53:46 PM
inoue's camp should not take this fight lightly as paul butler may train for this fight very hard as he knows this is the unification of 4 belts. it is no easy fight for both, let's put it that way. but i am certain, bookies will surely favour inoue with the odds. but in terms of the gap, we don't know yet.
now, i don't know how will casimero's camp will chase after inoue if in case inoue will win this fight...
I don’t think their age gap will certainly be a big issue because Paul is still confident to play and his age is not that too weak to consider. And since this is a big event, the camp of Paul will really prepare for this and so Inoue’s camp should also exert more effort as both sides have been very determined to win against its opponent. At the end of the day, the one who will become undefeated will always come up the winner in this fight.
1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 23 on: August 29, 2022, 08:23:40 PM
^^ Everyone is after the money, no more legacy or pride or try to be called the best in boxing. And of course there are styles as well, styles that make people buy tickets and wanted to see the fighters live to see how good they are like Tank Davis. But then again, boxing politics will stand in our for us fans to see if this fight is going to be made or not. But it's better for Shakur to just take one step at at a time, beat Robson in a dominant fashion like he did against Oscar Valdez and as I have said, go and unify the belts, we've seen Josh Taylor did it this year and Canelo has done that in 168 lbs. He should chase history first, before pursuing money fights.

If he will win against Robson in their upcoming fight, then its not only history that he will chase but also lots of money will be in his possessions. However, it’s always good to see a good boxer taking one step at a time because that will also give him enough time to master his own boxing skills and enhance what needs to be more develop. As for Shakur, it won’t be hard for him as he has already titles that prove his worth in the ring.
1987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be worth zero? on: August 29, 2022, 07:58:48 PM
One month, a coin may be at its peak of value, and the next, it may have almost no value at all.
Most likely it was a shitcoin which was riding on hype and had no real value whatsoever.

But what would happen if the oldest and most valuable asset on the market, Bitcoin, dropped to zero?
What would happen if gold or real estate dropped to zero.
Bitcoin has survived long enough to not have this type of arguments around it.
Instead of seeing bitcoin in zero value, why not expect the highest peak that it could reach in the next possible years. Bitcoin has lived more than a decade and if it will only drop into zero value, then all its struggles will all fall into nothing. However, as long as the demand of the people increases every year, bitcoin will also develop and grow more, that way its value will hardly fall into zero anymore.
1988  Economy / Gambling / Re: Information of Crypto Casinos License and KYC requirements on: August 29, 2022, 07:42:06 PM
- Casino with negative feedback (proven scam accusations) will not be added in the list.
- All of the information is collected from each casino T&C, KYC/AML policy page.
- Kindly inform me if you find any mistakes in the table.
- The list has been made in alphabetical order.

This is actually a comprehensive informative list you have here, because in as much as many persons would have love to gamble anonymously, it has always been difficult choosing the right No KYC casinos that is trusted and has reputation, because reading the whole ''Terms & Conditions'' is not always that easy, but with this thread of yours now, it gives us an insight and save us the stress of searching for a No KYC casinos.
True. Thanks for the valuable information OP as these can be very helpful particularly for newbies as they have no much experience yet in different casinos and still may likely to fall into scams if they are not knowledgeable enough. As most of the casinos have required already KYC, but it’s still more preferable to play in casinos where you can play anonymously.
1989  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kings Club Poker, semi-private games, mainly for serious poker players on: August 29, 2022, 05:20:19 AM
Hi, I said MAINLY for serious players. Anyone is welcome to join for fun, but it can be quite expensive. That is why I advised that it is principally for serious players who already understand these variety of games.

You don't get it. What attracts serious players to a poker room is weak players. The more weak players the better. A poker site intended primarily for regulars is destined to fail.
Imagine if all the players are wise and smart, then it’s hard to predict who will lose or win in such games. While having weak players on the table, the game will be more alive and smart players will always have high chances to maximize their profits, of course luck should also be present as poker games are luck based and not solely dependent on strategies and skills.
1990  Economy / Services / Re: Poker Courses For Sale on: August 29, 2022, 04:51:19 AM
Selling poker courses or whatever gambling related courses with a new account and no reputation known in this forum or in other platform is not a good start and as you are selling the courses is that there are courses that can be found online for free and even some app that are free to use where you can practice after learning the free poker courses that you have found. I think it will be hard to sell the poker courses you have as many people wanted to save money by learning from free poker courses.
Well there may still be some interested in these poker courses but to think that it also comes with a price, that would hardly attract new players to enroll and learn, as there won’t still no guarantees to win because poker games are games of chance and luck. With that, it’s better to learn on your own through video tutorials and apply what you learned when you decide to start playing in casinos.
1991  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: August 28, 2022, 11:31:02 PM
Casinos know that if they asked for this information upfront a great deal of players will not bother... I think casinos keep this information hidden so scammers do not abuse their policies
I agree with the first part and I totally understand why most casinos do not enforce kyc on registration as this will result in them losing many of potential customers. But the reason you mentioned isn't reasonable and some may even consider it unethical since a good service provider has to as clear and transparent as possible with its customers when it comes to their policies.

The fact that KYC means disclosing some of our important information then maybe some gamblers tend to refuse to do KYC. But this is the trend now, even the most reputable gambling casinos have already required KYC, so it’s up to us if we will still gamble on their sites or not. However, the OP might have misunderstood Duelbits rules and policies and so he is not in favor in it. But for most of the gamblers here, even myself, I find Duelbits just fine to gamble.
1992  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some Crazy Fun Facts About Casinos And Gambling You Might Not Know. on: August 28, 2022, 10:30:39 PM
The first one is nothing short of luck and right place, right time scenario. The founder of FedEx could have re-rolled that money on to his dying company but he went all in and just hoped for the best. Perhaps this is the reason why a lot of people are trying to go all in on casinos when they are extremely down on their luck. I would not recommend doing anything of that thing just to save you from your finances, but I'm pretty sure a lot of us here are having an itch to get that kind of luck like the FedEx founder.
It’s just that we don’t get the same luck just like what the founder of FedEx had. And instead of gambling what’s left on us, let’s make another profitable move that will guarantee to generate more money and not end up losing everything when we lose in gambling. I believe the founder of FedEx is also aware of the risk that he might lose everything in gambling, but maybe there’s always the right timing in every action you make.
1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are your favorite dealers ? on: August 28, 2022, 09:58:25 PM
My favorite dealer are attractive women if I’m being completely honest lol. It sure makes things a little better when I’m going through a bit of a cold streak. However I really try and avoid casinos games with live dealers. Something about them I just don’t trust all that much, I’d rather have an electronic dealer personally.
That’s how men are, and they supposed to act in which they become more enthusiastic to gamble more. I believe casino owners also know about this that’s why they prefer to hire attractive young women to become their casino dealers. Aside from that, even the good service of the staffs in the casino can also encourage the gamblers to play more. Not only the dealers, but it’s more on casino’s good services that attract us.
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Take This 2 Minutes Nine Step Quiz To Access Yourself In Gambling on: August 28, 2022, 09:36:10 PM
I participated in the quiz and i notice that am a moderate risk gambler, actually am not the type that gamble because i want to make money from gambling, mostly i gamble just for fun, i gamble whenever am board or whenever am stressed and i want to relax, i gamble just to clear my head whenever am stressed, so gambling those not have any negative impact on me because i dont gamble because i want to win and am not addicted to gambling because i only do it once in a while. i know some people that cant do without gambling, they can do anything just to get money to gamble which is very bad.
Even myself i also ended up in a moderate risk gambler, and I really think I am since i’m not into gambling obsession and I never gamble to earn a living. Gambling just made me entertained especially when I’m with my circle of friends, and I only gamble out of my extra money so that if I lose, it won’t affect my finances as it won’t be a big deal at all.
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: August 28, 2022, 09:16:21 PM
As OP says I also don't see this profitable thing. But its not supposed to be profitable at all. It is when you are sure (you should have no doubts left that you lost bet) of losing and you get some money back. I see it as somekind of insurance as well.

In my case, I prefer to stick with my initial bet and that's it. I don't think it's profitable but as a kind of insurance for lock in profits as has been mentioned, but at the cost of potential profitability. It is a way of minimising both profits and losses.
As a gambler, I usually focus and wait first on the result of my initial bet before I plan my next move. That gives me more determination to win, instead of counter betting which will only decrease my potential profits and will only put myself into being bothered. If I lose, then that’s the time I will consider taking another bet, maybe not profitable for most of the gamblers but for me, it works.
1996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the Extreme of Gambling Addiction? on: August 28, 2022, 08:56:06 PM
I think that is plain burglary.  There is nowhere in the article stated that those burglars involved were gambling addicts.  I think they targeted establishments with gambling games because they knew that there is money to get from the machines.  They target of these machines is not to play or gamble but to commit a crime by stealing the money that is inside the machine.
Whether they are gamblers or not, the main focus of these people is to steal thousands of dollars, which is plain burglary. And I think they are used to it entering into establishments intentionally to commit stealing or any act of crime. Maybe they also used to gamble on the money they’ve stolen, but nevertheless, these people are trained as thieves and not as gamblers.
1997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Meme coins going to make it to the next bull market? on: August 27, 2022, 10:45:20 PM
There’s always a bunch of retail noobs who get sucked in by the promise of huge riches so yes, I do think meme coins will make it to the next bull run. Some people make big money from these types of investments but most of these noobs get dumped on near the FOMO top.

DYOR though.
Some meme coins have still managed to survive with this long term bear market so might as well they will still make it in the next bull run. However, it’s always risky to put large amount of money on them as they can somehow skyrocket but end up undervalued in the end and become totally useless. And when there are no big whales to support these meme coins like what Elon did, the hype will be gone and they will eventually end up in zero value. Unlike investing in bitcoin or ethereum, it’s proven that their value continue to increase in the possible years to come.
1998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and Bitcoin began to be known by the rural community on: August 27, 2022, 09:58:22 PM
actually bitcoin and crypto are already known everywhere so no need to be surprised to see that, if I'm not mistaken it looks like this is one of the countries in Asia but I don't know where but I believe it's in Asia and as we know bitcoin and crypto are very well known too in the asia region
I believe bitcoin and crypto awareness will be easily spread even in rural areas too as some of them have installed internet already and that they can see everything about bitcoin and crypto being talked in the internet. So it’s not true at all that people living in rural areas are still deprived from learning new technologies as they can learn all they want if they wish too. Besides, bitcoin and crypto nowadays have already been the talk everywhere, so how much more if it’s global adoption will become successful in the end. Expect that all rural areas will be aware about it.

Visit the link the other members gave, take time to read, understand the information and get knowledge. Not all people come with a lot of knowledge every one starts from zero and i guess the most ideal to do for now for you is to enjoy in the community and ready those informative things you can use in the future. Knowledge is the best investment.
True, gaining knowledge is your topmost priority for now and I guess those listings provided by some members are already good enough. And when you think you are ready to trade and make first hand experiences, then that’s the time you will apply what you have learned in your studies. However, no matter how knowledgeable you are, losses will forever be inevitable but that’s alright as they bring lessons as well that can make you a good trader in the making. And always have good amount of patience as you can never be successful in all your endeavors if you don’t have the patience to wait.
2000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Overcome a Bear Market in Cryptocurrency on: August 27, 2022, 09:15:01 PM
Bear market is very frustrating to some while many are still see this one as an opportunity to accumulate and this is the best thing to do during bear market instead of panicking, though for me accumulation are only possible to good coins on a bear market because there’s a higher risk if you choose to invest on small project or in a new project, so better to always for the top crypto.

Overcoming bear market is not easy in reality, you must have your good strategy and perfect timing or else you will just lose money again. Cryptomarket proves that they can rise again after the bear market, that’s a good assurance that investing on good projects can be more profitable.
Patience too might always be the best key to overcome a bear market. If you have skills and strategies but not patient enough to wait for long term until the market recovers, most likely you will still become unsuccessful. Bear market is the time of accumulation, however if you are tight in your budget, then just do DCA and always prioritize bitcoin over other crypto coins. As bitcoin has guarantees to recover and skyrocket again, while some non-established coins stay undervalued and have no chance to recover after a long bear market.
