201  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Bitcoin or not on: December 09, 2019, 10:14:18 AM
Lols, I just viewed your profile now, you have been around since April this year and have been into bounty too, from your experience with altcoins and bitcoin, you should know by now that bitcoin is the king and good to invest any day as compared to the rest of market.
It only shows that even if he is in this field for how many months, he still lacks the knowledge to at least decide for himself when it comes to this situation. Well, he is still a newbie, we can't blame him.

OP, if you have enough money to buy bitcoin, don't just spend it or make a rash decision. We all know that investing in bitcoin is good, but you still need knowledge and the right timing to do it.

Well the guy's willing to spend 5k in bitcoin. It's okay to ask other people's opinion, especially here where a lot of people can be considered as experienced traders and crypto users for the longest time. I think the question is pretty simple as to where he can get btc with his funds. He probably has an idea but want other people's suggestion as well. The only thing for me is, don't base the decision on what others say. Keep their tips in consideration but make your own decision based on your own research and study.
202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage your profits in trading? on: December 09, 2019, 08:57:53 AM
If you want your profit to always be fixed in stable currency, it is better to trade in pairs with USDT. The price of Bitcoin is unstable. You can, for example, get more bitcoins as a result of any trade, but the price of Bitcoin will fall in relation to the dollar, which means that you actually do not just not make a profit, but may be at a loss.

Lol. I don't understand that. If you're trading btc-usdt pair, of course you'll have to sell at a value where you profit in usd. If you're trading btc with an alt pair, i don't think you should be looking at the dollar equivalent  at all. That should be an entirely different considerstion. Just try to make as much btc or crypto pair. Of course you're not going to convert it to fiat when the value is down, right?
203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you not relented in viewing your account wallet? on: December 09, 2019, 07:46:54 AM
if it's passive without trying to add additional assets, then you only need to set a price alarm on your smartphone.

Daily traders also don't often check their wallets because they are busy constantly rotating trading orders, if the price difference is less than $ 1000 there won't be much difference, it needs more productive things to prevent overly acute curiosity.

Well again this mostly applies to newbie traders who don't have enough experiences yet and get too excited with the movement in value of the coins in their wallets. The more you're in trading, the less you'll be interested in checking the value of your asset all the time. That's because you'll be more aware of it simply by checking current events and being updated with what's happening.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if you have 1 btc what would be the coin that you buy and hold ? on: December 08, 2019, 02:28:50 PM
If I have 1 bitcoin, I will not buy any other coins.
will try to use as capital to trade because it is quite a lot, so it's more than enough to trade and if I make a profit I will still choose bitcoin to hold. if I really want to buy altcoin to hold, I would still prefer litecoin and xrp.

Well, you're already holding a full bitcoin. I don't think i'd choose any other coin to hold as well aside from it. Probably 30 percent would be enough for trading anf holding other coins. Bitcoin for me is still the most logical choice if you're planning on holding a coin for long term. The 30 percent would likely be comprised of tron and ethereum. But that's not to trade, i'd prefer to hold then as well.
205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run is delayed! Halving not helping! Bear go away on: December 08, 2019, 10:28:48 AM
What was your basis when you say its "delayed"? If any live person knows when bull run will happen, there will be a lot of millionaires by now since they can predict when bull run will happen. If your basis is "your" technical analysis, then its not delayed, it simply means your analysis is wrong. In my case I am not waiting for any bull run to happen, I will just take advantage of the small surge and drop of price of Bitcoin. 1.5% per day is better than nothing.

Usually december is bull run month.
So its delayed!
Halving not helping either If this will go on then btc Will go to the Zero!
That's not Good Can anyone who Got power Can do it something?
We need bull run Badly!!
Real bull run is when at least 10 coins Will go everyday!

That's what I mean is real bull run!!
Im not talking about bull traps but the real bull run!!

Lol. Obviously you don't know what you're talking about dude. Where have you been last year? That pattern doesn't work. December last year was when the market crashed drastically just when everyone was expecting a bull run, just like you. A lot of us have already learned that it doesn't work that way. Dyor.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of Altcoin on: December 08, 2019, 09:57:52 AM
I realy want to buy altcoin which coin can i buy to hold and make big project in future any idea tell me best profit coin to buy thanks.
Go with the traditional altcoins. What does traditional means to me? those coins that are very known and has been listed to many exchanges. Do not look for those small coins which makes you think that it will fulfill your dream of being rich. Work on with altcoins such as Ethereum, Litecoin, XMR, Dash and BNB. Before investing, think of it for so many times so that you can analyze if our suggestions fit your investing style.

We can call them traditional, I agree with that, they are here for years. People should invest in well-known projects first, if they don't
know how to do a research on their own, they should follow the masses, and masses chose well-known projects.
You gave a good example what projects are good for investing, when you look at top 100 most of the coins are great, and who doesn't
know where to invest should look for coins with strong positions and great communities.

That still depends. If op doesn't plan on holding for a long time, then even these traditional alts won't be much for someone looking for profit. Even for coins that have actual use already like eth. You need to be able to hold long term. We may be talking about years here before these coins would have value that lives up to their uses.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 08, 2019, 08:28:05 AM
Hi,
Need to know the best coin to buy.
Since last 2 years nearly every coin has struggle to keep up.
Suggestions on the future predictions.
Start/comment below

now is the downtrend so we should not risk investing in alts outside the top 20. because if the market continues the trend and some of the alts will die like the end of 2018, we certainly don't want make that mistake again. Now we should invest in the top alts and I encourage us to buy ETH. Sure it will have lower profits than other alts but it will be a safe investment. Ethereum 2.0 will be a turning point for its strong growth in 2020.

Lol. A lot of people are going for top coins like eth, bch and ripple. I personally have a significant stash of trx. I'm actually in profit already but waiting for some good newd and less negative pr from justin sun lol. You can say it's a gamble but mostly, any coin would have their own time. Ripple has been timid for the longest time but a lot of people are still supporting it.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting scammed on: December 07, 2019, 01:17:07 PM
Sorry to hear that mate, but unfortunately there is really nothing we can do about it. Be aware and remember a careful research before your investment always pays off and saves you a lot of time and money.
Listening to friends does not hurt, as long as the friend we hear also uses analysis and good research for something, because for matters of investment must be very careful before doing so.

That's what we can do for now to listen to our friends, yes there is nothing we can do but at least let's listed to ease the pain that they are suffering at the moment so that they can relieve and can continue what they are doing, and with each everyone's experience either good or bad at least we are learning something from each other that will change our life.

Scamming is really normal, there are really people who are scamming others just to get their money and run away. That is why every people who are accessing a websites like this especially money is involved we should be aware and be informative in every decision we make because since we are in a digital world, it is hard to locate the scammers. But they can be banned if being reported and shows some proof. That is what I recommend, we should be aware of every decision we make and be mindful.
It is normal that scam projects are really existing in the market but it is not normal if you continuing to get scammed. The greed of the investors are main factors why they got scammed easily, they thought that their investment that they did is easy thing and they did not know the risks that they are taking. You can avoid scam project if you can manage the risks where you know infomation about the project and people behind it.

It's amuzing that a lot people are being scammed in this day and age when informatiin is easily accessed. I mean, if you're not sure about a certain  info, google it. Scammers thrive through people who don't know what they're doing and they exploit such aspects as extreme emotions.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: December 07, 2019, 11:31:34 AM
I know some people are doubting the ability of Bitcoin to reach $20k, I could remember which the price was in hundreds and saw a tweet that BTC would hit thousands, $10k and above, I did not believe, after that BTC has done more than 40X, the current price action is frustrating for the space but we need to understand that BTC moves in circle
I just saw someone on social media telling that it's impossible again for bitcoin to get back to $20k. Well, we just have to ignore people like them as if they don't have bitcoin to hold anymore. The top coins will go along with the bullish ride of bitcoin if it ever heads to $100k. You can have a thought on how much Ethereum would be if bitcoin reaches $100k, same goes with Litecoin and other popular names in the altcoins scene.

It is not impossible at all. It's actually more than likely going to go a lot higher than that. I not only think $100k is possible before 2030, but even higher than that. As far as changes? Not much will change. We've seen $20,000 or close to it and it brought all time highs for almost every altcoin. I would say that's probably what's going to happen. Mostly due to all the new money coming into the market cap that would be needed to raise the price that much.

I don't want to sound like a pessimist, but who would buy btc if it reaches 6 digits? I mean for it to reach that amount, people should be willing to buy bitcoin at 50k, 70k, 90k. If you're earning though just salary, that'd be quite a gamble if you're going to buy in at that range. Of course there will be people who would keep the value moving, but i doubt we'll see 100k in 10 years as you've said.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 07, 2019, 09:58:28 AM
Lol. It's an old bike and obviously it doesn't have any sentimental value to you since it's been with you for just two years. I'd say it's not bad. It's unlikely that the value of your bike would increase over time. And you're not using it anymore. I think it's a good call. At least you can consider your btc am investment esecially if you're planning to hold that for a while. You're probably going to profit from that.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading. on: December 07, 2019, 09:06:28 AM
Some traders and investors think that when trading with crypto currency, one must be bold and confident and make quick decisions. Is excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading better than doubt and fear, or is it a big drawback?
A trader will be over confident or much confident if he oftens wins a trade and most of the time it tends to be a close minded for other opinions of hearsays fron other traders which is a totally a bad thing. It is good to have an exessive cinfidence but that doesn't implies fast decision making it nedds always time to analyze before taking action or make a move.

Well it's more like a rash and careless decision making for overconfident traders. Mostly happens when they close a good trade and earned good bucks. Feeling invincible. I think a lot of traders can relate to this. The problem with being cocky is that you become a little too emotional. It's the same when you're too doubtful. Both would likely get you lost chances in the long run.
212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2019, 08:10:24 AM
i am holding bitcoin, because bitcoin have a good price in the future, maybe for this time the price is cheap but this is the best moment for buying a lot of bitcoin.
How much are you holding bitcoin for now? Statistically, indeed, if we buy bitcoin now and save it, it will definitely benefit. But storing bitcoin too long can also create a dilemma because prices seem to take a long time to go up. Whereas within this time frame we can take advantage of trading.

Buying bitcoin is not recommende for trading because it's not a type of coin that the price is so agile. People are more like investing if they buy bitcoin and don't care about the price is a short time, they trust and they sure the price will pump far away from this position in the future and not too much looking at the daily chart

Lol. Most of the top coins in the market are moving pretty lame as well. Bitcoin can move fluidly than say, eth or ripple. The fact is, we're not having any of those drastic pumps and dumps anymore. Don't expect anything of the likes of 2017 to happen anytime soon. For me, it's still bitcoin over all other apps if i'm going to hold long term.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: December 06, 2019, 01:26:56 PM
Indeed, if it is related to inflation then investment will be the main option, but the problem is that not everyone or investors will really invest in the right project so that in the end it will suffer losses too because the returns do not reach as expected. So in this case I think both are good as long as we can control ourselves to not be greedy, because after all savings and investment will ultimately have benefits too if we know the right time from many factors and situations.
I think if it depends on conditions like an investment, I think people will compete to invest, especially in bitcoin. well, this has happened. however, under normal circumstances, for now, I prefer investment over saving. Well, maybe I'll save some for emergencies. but, if you are a businessman, I think the investment has become like the thing that needs to be done.

Yeah almost all successful businessmen would tell you to find ways to make your money work for you. Though of course we can't remove the importance of having your own savings, investing is what will make you go far financially. Simply put, you need to have both.  Making an investment takes time and effort to be successful so you need to have your savings on the side in case things don't go the way you want them to go.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: December 06, 2019, 12:29:19 PM
obviously the pro traders use technical analysis as a tool and to determine their targets, and also as a guide for when to buy and sell the right one. because pro traders don't want to trade like gambling just guessing.
Even gamblers nowadays are not just guessing what color or what number will show up, they also use probability, they count what card already showed up, how many times the number showed up or what color showed up already. Its the same with trading, you cant just rely on wild guess unless your plan is to lose money in 60 seconds.
Trading is not totally guesing that's why we need to use technical analysis. It is a game of probability where you will use technical analysis to forecast the price. Technical analysis is very useful and all of the traders should now about it and how to use it. More people are relying in fundamentals than in technicals and that is the worst part because people depends on news than price actions.

Can't blame them. Price actions most of the time rely on what's happening outside the trading arena. I guess it depends on what kind of trader you are. Some traders are pretty efficient in reading TAs without even trying. Some are good with reacting to current events and forecasts. So i wouldn't really call bullshit on TAs. Works for certain kind of people.
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 ways to recover your stolen or lost crypto on: December 06, 2019, 11:39:54 AM
That is very long post I ever read but information inside very good. Now we know there is solution for our problem even I believe not all will success. I try to understand what should I do if get stolen crypto so I can do something to protect my wallet and this post really helpful, thank you.
There is no possible if we would like to try but the question is if we could have to make it. Cause most lost/stolen crypto aren't recover anymore. It only we can trace the transaction but badly we can't make it back from the hackers. We can't make assurance for the safe keep of our wallet, even exchanges become a victim beside they are strict in terms of wallet/keys security.

That's correct once the transaction goes into it, it will be a big problem to solve once it has been transfered to other wallet maybe you can contact the support of the wallet or otherwise it will be stolen by hackers.

There actually aren't any solutions that are viable in op's post? That's one thing about anonymity and drcentralization. Once you've pressed that send button, the fund goes to the wallet address you've indicated. There's  no way for you to know who that wallet belongs to and even if you freeze you assets, the funds that you've sent out would be irretrievable. It's just about being careful to prevent such mistakes.
216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2019, 10:15:14 AM
In my portfolio, I only manage 20% of BTC and Hold for a while. The rest are altcoins that HOLD while showing some growth. I buy some and also sell them. With the ether, I always do Swap to Bitcoin to send money to my bank account. I love projects that want to simplify all these processes that we live on a daily basis to obtain fiat money or when we want to obtain our local currency through crypto.

There are a lot of projects that aim to simplify daily transactions. Though at this point, most crypto are just seen as store of value. A lot of people don't really want to spend and move their btcs and alts. I also think that bitcoin has the biggest chance of actually increasing in value the way people want it. Alts like eth would barely have significant increase unless bitcoin moves. So my stash right now would mainly be bitcoins.
217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 06, 2019, 09:36:39 AM
I am new here. So I need some help from veteran traders could you please tell me how could I trade here safely Huh
Step by step man. If you are interested in trading then i would suggest you to get familiar with basics (school programs, yt tutorials..) there's a lot to learn but if it's interesting to you there will be no problem..would suggest you to start with low sums or simulators which is the way to go! Hope it helps!

I agree with. Your interest would also play  big part in it. Some people are simply after the potential to earn big. Which would basically make them look at trading from the wrong perspective as a newbie. Instead of focusing on getting the money, it's best to focus on learning first. That would easily come if you're interested in how crypto and trading works. I find it to be the same as when people choose a collegiate course that they really want, rather than taking something up for the potential salary.
218  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: December 05, 2019, 01:01:20 PM
I hope there will crypto pump like the year 2017, maybe after halving it could have happened, but could also not. Only the market will talk later. But I still have hope that Crypto will boom. Yes a lot of speculation about this all, if you believe that crypto will boom again later, yeah better we are preparing from now to hoard bitcoin.
You are not alone, everyone is hoping that the bull run in 2017 will again happen in the years to come, or next year if its possible.
however, the biggest development that can occur in crypto is 2020. it has the potential to make crypto prices back to 2017. but, don't expect too much, even when it's not like 2017, I'm sure cryptocurrency will be popular again in 2020 -2021.
If when then it's in 2020. I think halving and fomo can trigger another 2017 bullrun...

I think not. You're overlooking the fact that the first halvings happened at a time when bitcoin is still off the mainstream charts. Back then, anything can only go up. At this point, everyone has seen the 2018 decline. There the factor of people being wary since they've seen how assets can drop drastically. People will not fall for a simple pump as easily as many did last 2017.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is still really bullish (Unpopular opinion) on: December 05, 2019, 11:59:51 AM
And that won't be seen by an analysts.
They are blinded by what they see as of now and not how much growth bitcoin had went through.
I guess we could also call them as pessimistic type of people or they are just really that greedy to want more.

Now, bitcoin had been fluctuating around the $7,000 price up to $8,000.
I am actually okay with that and I guess traders are still profiting when recently it grew to $7,800 from $7,200. That is something else in just a little amount of time.

Well, as op's title indicates, it's an opinion. And the negative guys also are just stating their opinions. Though i don't think it's actually unpopular since there are also a lot of people who see bitcoin's movement from a wider perspective. It's probably the newbies that are not sitting well with the drop to 7k, with them not experiencing the drop we had just around a year ago.
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: December 05, 2019, 10:25:30 AM
Some brief thoughts on this subject:

I noticed that speculators often do a lot of speculating. With that said, is it possible to focus on speculating only, reading nothing else but all the speculating topics and then somehow becoming better at speculating than others?

Lol. Probably an experienced speculator, yes. But expertise? I don't think so. Speculations don't really have any solid, objective basis. It's based on someone's hunch over the possibilities. If you've been speculating for a long time, you're guesses would probably be more reliable than others but of course, they'll only be by your own standards.
