2021  Economy / Services / Re: Unikbrushes | Web Design That Feels Right | Since 2016 | Affordable Prices on: May 15, 2022, 02:48:29 PM
~
Also, I have my own web design portfolio: https://www.unikbrushes.com

Although it is not a bad portfolio, it would be good if you made a few unique designs, since all of these look like free web templates that can be found on the Internet.

Luckily, you're one of those Web designers who can create something functional and attractive, but for a small price, and that is  a good thing.
But I suggest you try to get out of your comfort zone sometimes , make something that will cause a little bit of a stir and stimulate people to talk about it, so you're creating a buzz about yourself and your portfolio.

Good luck to you. I wish you great success with your business.

I wonder who's alt are these two wack slacker, int03h. though I have no evidence that they are actually an alt of someone. it's just weird that they suddenly woke up the same the new 1xbit signature campaign thread was posted.

Both are throwaway alt accounts, part of the same farm of spammers and bounty cheaters:

2023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: May 15, 2022, 12:39:45 PM
You can choose any top 20 coins but I think xrp has more potential than most coins and has had the biggest gains in previous bull runs. Some says that it will overcome BTC but it will never come close to the price of btc, thats crazy. but most of my portfolio is in xrp now. but you got to do your own research and decide. dont listen to me or anyone else on this page. nobody has a clue what theyre on about tbf

Sorry, but in my opinion that is the worse advice ever. Terra (Luna) was once in top20. Now look what happened to it and how it influenced on the market. This week Luna was in #1000+ position in top, and thanks to a trades, it now on top40. This top is based only on a trading volume. And with enough resources, any scam coin can get to a a higher place in top.

Yes, you are right. There have been numerous cases where suspicious projects have reached the TOP 40 or even the TOP 20 according to the market cap of this crypto currency market. But, at the end, they went to zero after a few months, some even before, after the rug pull.

Remember the Squid Game token? Its market cap reached an astonishing $2 trillion at the height of its popularity, roughly the value of all other cryptocurrencies combined. Remember how developers made a dump and disappeared with a huge pile of money? This proves that the market cap can be misleading. Especially if liquidity is low, which is usually the case with all new coins.

Oh great. Just what we needed. Here comes more spam from 1xBit army of sock-puppets.

It looks like the newbie 1xbitpatnar started the same campaign in the Services section as well: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5398617.0
And, RajaDen is a known bounty cheater with multiple alt accounts. It is possible that he will fill the whole campaign only with his alts.
2026  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who do you recommend to follow/read/watch for beginners? on: May 14, 2022, 08:09:49 PM
Op, since you mentioned the crypto market, I guess you want to learn more about trading. Before you start following some reputable traders or investors on social media, I suggest you master the basics first.
Try to get a basic understanding of how the market works, and how to use different trading strategies. Many of these traders also talk about fundamental and technical analysis, so I suggest you read up on those as well. This will help you to understand about their trading strategies, and you can then follow them without any fear of being lost in the technical jargon.
2027  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with importing blockchain.com wallet into electrum on: May 13, 2022, 07:59:37 PM
You guys got any tips?

Without knowing precisely where you ran into issues, it is hard for us to offer any tips. I suggest you go into more detail about the exact result you got, as other members have suggested.
If you can see the "Addresses" tab in Electrum, you should have at least some btc addresses there. Are you saying you can not see "your addresses" or can not see the Addresses tab at all?
2028  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New in Wallets. Recover a wallet on: May 12, 2022, 10:53:45 PM
Do u know of another wallet with testnet available so i can try to recover a wallet from wasabi in that "other" wallet?Huh

Thx

Electrum is a good option, in my opinion.

Here is a short tutorial on how to run Electrum in testnet mode:

You need to download the latest version of Electrum wallet https://electrum.org/#download

First step, after finishing downloading and installing the wallet, you need create a shortcut for electrum.exe;

In the shortcut properties, under “destination”, add to the end of the location “--testnet”.

Okay, now we can access the testnet through electrum. Thus, when we access the wallet through the shortcut, we will enter the testnet, through the normal link on the mainnet.

2029  Economy / Reputation / Re: Alt possibilities for 4 high rank accounts on: May 12, 2022, 10:29:13 PM
There is no conclusive evidence, but there has been suspicious activity nonetheless. This is especially evident by looking at screenshots and their titles, and that they are all posted in the same thread. It is almost impossible to consider this a coincidence. Another "coincidence" is that all accounts were active in the Indonesian local board.
2030  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New in Wallets. Recover a wallet on: May 12, 2022, 08:41:28 PM
3. PROBLEM 1: I tried to recover (back up) a wallet from green wallet (Android) in wasabi wallet (pc) ~

I admit that I have never used Blockstream Green wallet (if that is what you mean), but if I understood their help pages correctly, their wallet uses special Multisig Shield protection so it is impossible to recover the same wallet with a different software.

Take a look at this:
Quote
Although Blockstream Green uses industry standards for recovery phrase generation, wallets created in Blockstream Green using Multisig Shield cannot be restored on other wallet software. This is due to the unique multisig security model used for Multisig Shield wallets.
~
Note: If you enter your recovery phrase from a Multisig Shield wallet into a different wallet app that supports BIP39, the recovery phrase may be accepted by the app, but it will generate an empty single-signature wallet. Any transactions sent from or received to this wallet will be completely separate from your Blockstream Green wallet.
https://help.blockstream.com/hc/en-us/articles/900001550443-What-standard-does-Blockstream-Green-use-for-its-recovery-phrase-

If i understood it well, with the 12 seeds +- the passphrase i could recover any wallet, even if i lost the computer or the smartphone i had the wallet.

Theoretically yes, but you have to first check if the software in which you generate the wallet uses the standard way of deriving key pairs from a 12/24 word seed phrase (BIP39). BIP39 is the most common standard used for seed phrases but some wallets use their own standards or industry standard derivatives.
You can find some useful information here: https://walletsrecovery.org/

I WANT TO TRY EVERYTHING IN THE TESTNET before trying in the real btc chain...

Remember that im new!

That is a good decision, and do not be shy about asking questions - we were all new once.

2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Someone sent me $2000 woth bitcoin on: May 10, 2022, 10:42:05 PM
They sent me a screenshot of 0.04004 BTC transfered in my trust wallet from coinbase with confirmation fee 0.0025BTC $110 with a confirmation address and as far as i know the confirmation fee should have been deducted after i received the amount but he keeps on saying i have to pay the confirmation fee upfront to get the transaction done.

Scammers often use this technique to trick naive victims. Don't be fooled by these screenshots. Whatever you do, do not send money to scammers.

Another common method is that they show you a false balance on a website, such as an exchange or investment platform, but you must first pay a fee to withdraw the funds. These are fake sites, and you have no balance there. Any money you pay goes to scammers.
2033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A time people have been waiting for bitcoin to drop on: May 10, 2022, 10:26:17 PM
Most people that panic don't do their homework about bitcoin. Remember bitcoin plunged to 3k in 2020 after rising to an ATH of 20k in 2017. Only the wise traders will understand that it's never too late to hold a single satoshi. Because, the market is meant for everyone to benefit from. I don't see the price of bitcoin pegged to dollar as a treat when it drops or increases. Enjoy the dip while it last, soon same people will regret why they didn't buy now and end up buying bitcoin when it hits 50k.

There are some people who seem to forget very quickly. I was just thinking about the year 2020, when the price of bitcoin dropped by 50% at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic. Those who missed the opportunity later complained that they should have invested at the time. The same people are probably now complaining that prices have dropped. They do not realize they are once again missing out on an opportunity.

I do freelancing on fiverr buddy.

I help people with telegram followers, twitter,  youtube.

Do you have a way of proving that you are just hired by them and not actually a member of their team (if there is one) or the one who created this fake project?

Which rather looks like the "certification company" is another dummy website of theirs to boost their "credibility" with no prior projects being certified before, only them.

No doubt, that KYCSPY report is fake.

Both domains were registered just a few weeks ago on the same registry and hosted on the same hosting server. This cannot be a coincidence.

2037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women's participation into cryptospace - Increased? on: May 09, 2022, 08:31:14 PM
Behavioral finance studies have shown that women are generally more risk-averse than men. Accordingly, women typically research more and take more time to make decisions.

According to the BTC Markets Investor Study Report there was a 175% increase in women users last fiscal year. The BTCM data also showed that gender lines continued to flatten as female investors grew at a faster rate than male investors (83% compared to 16%).

Quote from: btcmarkets.net
As more women invest, the industry becomes more representative of the investment community as a whole. That in turn advances its reputation as an asset class that can sit alongside other traditional investments.

2039  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know if my new topic has been posted by someone before on: May 08, 2022, 07:34:39 PM
The believe that 'new topics' get more merits is also incorrect in my opinion, what gets merits is constructive posts/threads, if the new topic is constructed properly, with correct facts that is of help here then it gets the merits it deserves, if it does not, and is redundant, then it gets nothing (just being a 'new topic' for the sake of it is not a criteria for merits). On the other hand if regular posts imbibe all of the characteristics i just mentioned then it would get the merits; but all of these still depends on if MS/users who like the post and want to merit it see it.

Yes, that is how things should work, but statistically, new topics still "earn" more merit points. I imagine visibility plays a role in this. New topics are new, and attract more people than they do once you've seen them.
