1241  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you finding a virtual assistant as a Campaign Manager? on: January 22, 2023, 07:53:35 PM
OP, let me get this straight, you're looking to level up your career and become a freelance virtual assistant? In that case, my friend, your first post here might not be the best way to make that happen.

First things first, I suggest you create a portfolio. A portfolio serves as an excellent tool to present your work and highlight your skills to potential clients. If you currently do not have any work to showcase, you can offer your services to potential clients for free to gain experience and build up a portfolio. Secondly, focus on building a strong online presence. Having a website, a blog, and being active on social media platforms can help you connect with potential clients and keep you on their mind. Lastly, when it comes to your approach to your future employers, I suggest you brush up on your English skills, and try with something like this:

Quote
Hello,
I am currently looking to grow my career and work as a freelance professional in my field of expertise. If you can assist me in finding jobs and opportunities to showcase my skills, it would be greatly appreciated. I am open to working as a virtual assistant and am willing to put in the effort to help you with your projects. Thank you in advance for your support and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Then Why Mr Crank,Jawadu,Prasagta has been tagged? Who will be responsible for their reputation?

I am not familiar with the specific cases you mentioned, however, you can likely find the reasons for the negative tags in the reference links. It is important that every negative tag is properly referenced.

From my observation, those who manage bounties and promote scams are tagged for a valid reason when they persist in promoting despite warnings and the concrete evidence of the scam. It is their responsibility to conduct basic due diligence and to be accountable for the projects that they promote.
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper wallet for BTC used to be the best on: January 21, 2023, 11:59:39 PM
Hardware wallets are gaining popularity but they may not be suitable for everyone. They can be costly and may come with features that are not needed, particularly if you only plan to store a few types of cryptocurrency. An alternative is a paper wallet, which can be a great option for backup, offline storage and long-term storage.
1244  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: new to mining, do this idea make any sense? on: January 21, 2023, 11:35:32 PM
The Antminer S19 is a good option for your budget and is relatively energy efficient for its mining capabilities. However, purchasing a used miner carries a higher risk as it may have been damaged or may not perform as well, or as long, as a new one, so it is also important to consider that when making your decision. It may be a better idea to invest in a new miner to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
1245  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Are hardware wallets really safe? And so is Bip39? Opinions about Ledger? on: January 21, 2023, 10:16:25 PM
In short, hardware wallets are considered to be a secure method for storing cryptocurrencies. They are widely used by many individuals and to the best of my knowledge, there have been no reported instances of funds being lost due to security issues with these devices. This is particularly true for the more well-known and reputable hardware wallets.

However, it's important to remember that no storage method is completely secure. Hardware wallets, while considered to be a safe option, can still be lost, stolen, or damaged. If the device is not set up correctly, if they are tampered with or if the recovery seed phrase is not kept securely, the funds on it could still be lost.

I agree that it is important to speak up and educate others about the potential benefits of bitcoin, especially in the face of criticism. It is also important to approach the conversation with empathy and not anger. Empathy is a valuable quality that often gets overlooked in today's society, as people tend to jump to conclusions without considering another person's perspective. However, it is also important to remember that criticism can be valuable, so before you start an argument with a skeptic or someone who has misconceptions about bitcoin, make sure to consider different perspectives and be open to constructive feedback. So if you see a post or hear a comment that contains misinformation, do not hesitate to jump in and correct it. Just make sure that your corrections are accurate and relevant; otherwise people will think you are just trying to push your own agenda onto them.
1247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on: January 19, 2023, 09:10:34 PM
Mining Bitcoin is creating like creating new Bitcoins by solving crypto hash problems

In my view, creating new Bitcoins is not accurate terminology. All the Bitcoins that can ever exist are mathematically defined from the moment the Bitcoin software is launched. When miners solve the complex mathematical problems, known as cryptographic hash functions, to verify transactions and add them to the blockchain, they are rewarded with a certain amount of fresh bitcoins that have not been previously used in any transactions.

Buying Bitcoin is paying for a certain amount of Bitcoin in physical cash

Buying Bitcoin generally refers to the process of exchanging fiat currency (physical cash, or government-issued currency) for a certain amount of Bitcoin. This can be done through various platforms, such as cryptocurrency exchanges, peer-to-peer marketplaces, or Bitcoin ATMs. Or you can even do it in person, by meeting with a seller directly to exchange cash for Bitcoin.

Earning Bitcoin is getting paid through the digital currency for a particular job done

Yes, earning Bitcoin can refer to getting paid in the form of digital currency for completing a particular job or task. This can take many forms, such as getting paid in Bitcoin for providing goods or services, receiving Bitcoin as a form of compensation or bonus, or receiving a portion of your salary in Bitcoin.

The only thing that really makes me feel unsafe with paper backups, is the fact that the ink could fade after 20-30 years.

Yeah, paper backups can be a convenient and easy way to store important information, but their durability can be a concern. Based on my experience, prints from an inkjet printer can become unreadable much sooner than the estimated 20-30 years, and this can vary depending on environmental conditions. To mitigate these risks, it is a good idea to use archival-quality paper which are specifically designed to last longer and resist fading. Additionally, in general, laser printers and their toner-based output offer longer lasting prints compared to inkjet printers.

How do one educate the illiterate about digital currency?

It can be difficult to explain Bitcoin to people, especially if they are older and less technologically savvy. You could use simple, relatable examples to help you explain how Bitcoin works and its potential benefits. For example, you could use the analogy of email or texting to explain how Bitcoin works. If your grandparents are familiar with the basic concepts of email and instant messaging, they should be able to understand the principles of how the Bitcoin network works and the advantages it offers. You do not need to know all the technical details of how it works in order to use it. Try showing them real-world examples of how it is being used, such as online merchants accepting Bitcoin as payment, or the growing number of ATMs that allow people to buy and sell Bitcoin.

It may also be a good idea for you to set some boundaries with your grandparents regarding your crypto activities. Simply let them know that you are working on something that you believe will be important in the future and leave it at that.

Not trying to stir the pot here, but this proves nothing really.

Sorry yahoo62278. and what does fuckinglier777's screenshot prove?

It is his capture that proves nothing. If you want to accuse me of sending PMs show proof, not a Telegram screenshot that you could have easily sent to yourself.

I understand your perspective. I do not believe the screenshot from Royse proves anything. As anyone can contact him on Telegram and make any claim. Can we consider this as valid evidence? I do not think so.

fuckinglier777, I am waiting for you screen recording.

I do not believe a screen recording would be conclusive evidence either.

Can any moderator confirm that I have not deleted any PMs please?

I am afraid moderators are unlikely to be able to help you with this. It may only be possible for admins, but I doubt they would want to become involved in the situation.
1251  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ucy Merit Giveaway on: January 18, 2023, 07:47:22 PM
Nothing wrong in claiming I can move the price of Bitcoin if I can actually do it, and nothing wrong in asking people to donate if I'm able to do it. And they may donate part of their profits from the price movements.

It is actually very bad to claim something that is untrue because you may end up proving yourself as a liar. The same applies to the claim that you can move the price of Bitcoin. You know very well that it is not true, and you are lying if you claim otherwise.

They are big accusations (especially spam accusation) and need to be proven.

The proof is in your post history. How many of your posts have been deleted by moderators so far?

I leave Judgment to my CREATOR anyway. .

In that case, may HE reward you with merits.

By the way, it's not a good idea to judge those above you.

He That judges me is the LORD. Mere mortal with logs in their eyes can't see properly to judge right.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven... But hey, where is the fun in that? If I want to keep judging and condemning, who are you to stop me?
1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evolution of human life and what that future holds for BTC? on: January 17, 2023, 10:25:48 PM
The future of money and the economy is hard to predict, but it will be shaped by the complex interplay of technology, societal changes and government policies. It is likely that we will see a shift towards digital forms of money and financial transactions, such as cryptocurrencies and digital wallets. This trend has already begun, with the advent of digital payments and the continuing rise in popularity of cryptocurrencies. A number of governments around the world are considering introducing their own national digital currencies, which could be accepted as legal tender alongside more traditional forms of money.

However, it is unlikely that physical cash will disappear altogether. Especially in poorer countries, where banking infrastructure is less developed, cash remains the most widely accepted form of payment. Many people also prefer to use cash for certain transactions because it offers greater privacy than electronic forms of payment.

My opinion is that the future of money is likely to be a hybrid, with physical cash and digital currencies coexisting for many years. The key question is whether governments will allow people to use both forms of money, or whether they will force them to choose between the two.

1254  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i am a housewife want to invest in bitcoin on: January 17, 2023, 07:15:20 PM
It is never too late to invest in Bitcoin, as long as you understand the risks involved. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can be highly volatile; their price can fluctuate greatly in a short period of time. It is important to do your own research and understand what those risks are before making any investment decisions. Since you are new to the world of cryptocurrency, it is best to start small. You do not need a lot of money to invest in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies; you can get started with just a few dollars. As your knowledge grows and your confidence builds, you can increase your investment over time. It is also important to invest only what you can afford to lose and diversify your portfolio, that way, if one investment does not work out as planned, you will not lose all of your money.

It is ultimately your decision whether to invest in bitcoin or not, but it is important to be well-informed before making any investment decisions.
Welcome to the forum, by the way.
1255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: January 15, 2023, 11:13:50 PM

Whether we like it or not, manipulation really happens but we never make this as an excuse not to trust Bitcoin and we have to stop thinking that it was already controlled by a group of people (whales).

I agree, manipulation in all financial markets, including the cryptocurrency market, is an unfortunate reality. But don't let it cloud your judgement, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are like the wild child of finance, they have the potential to change the game and shake things up. And that's something worth getting excited about.
1256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My friend who work with Stable coin project asking advice suggestions on: January 15, 2023, 08:48:24 PM
But will the government really use a layer1 or 2 platform of today?

Exactly. It is hard to say exactly how governments will approach the development and implementation of their official digital currency, but it is likely that they will consider a variety of factors such as security, scalability, adoption... Some governments may prefer to use existing blockchain platforms, while others may choose to develop their own proprietary technology. Ultimately, the specific technology used will depend on the specific requirements and goals of the government and the stablecoin project, however, I doubt that any of them will resort to a solution based on recommendations to someone's request on a public forum.
1257  Other / Meta / Re: How many forum members do you know by real name? on: January 15, 2023, 07:05:49 PM
I voted "0" because even though I am familiar with some members' real names, either because they made it public or used it in their nick, I cannot verify the truth of their claims, thus I believe my vote was correct. Perhaps a more accurate question should be: "How many forum members do you know in real life?".
1258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: January 15, 2023, 06:35:12 PM
If a group of large Bitcoin holders, referred to as "whales," were to own 51% of the total supply of Bitcoin, they would have significant influence over the price of Bitcoin, as they could potentially manipulate the market by selling large amounts of their holdings at once. However, they would not have control over the Bitcoin network itself as they would not have the majority of the mining power which is required to to double spend or reverse transactions, and potentially manipulate the integrity of the blockchain. Thus, decentralization would still exist as the network relies on multiple participants to validate transactions and confirm blocks.
1259  Other / Off-topic / Re: My Journey with Type-2 Diabetes on: January 15, 2023, 09:43:41 AM
Type 2 diabetes just happens in obese people, and it is very strange not to notice your excess weight.
<...>

I disagree, it is not entirely accurate to say that being overweight is the sole risk factor for developing type 2 diabetes. It is similar to saying that only overweight people experience cardiac arrest or that only smokers contract lung cancer. It is not accurate and oversimplifies the issue.

While it is certainly a contributing factor, there are other factors to consider such as genetics, family history, as certain genetic predispositions can increase the likelihood of developing the condition. Additionally, age and race also play a role, as people of certain ethnicities are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes, and the risk increases as one gets older.

If anything, from my personal experience, I can confidently say that my father never struggled with weight issues, in fact, he led a very active lifestyle and was quite athletic throughout his life. It is safe to say that obesity was never an issue for him.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am looking for an ALT coin algorythm thats proof of stake enviornmentaly frien on: January 14, 2023, 09:27:29 PM
I heard they will pass laws banning the mining of bit coin in america because its to bad for the enviornment so I was looking for a proof of work coin so if someone say leaves the PC on they can get paid little by little.

are all proof of work coins the same? are the as safe as proof of work?

Your title says one thing, but in your post you ask for another, what are you really looking for?

By the way, where did you get the information about the plan to ban bitcoin mining? Are you sure it's not just fake news?
