1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 22, 2023, 09:49:11 PM
Honestly, I do not think many of them would even exist without Musk. They are all just riding the hype train, and without him, they would probably be nothing. Maybe there would have been some other celebrity or influencer who would have championed the cause of meme coins. But let's be real, it is hard to imagine anyone having the same level of impact as Elon Musk. I mean, he can just tweet something and the whole market reacts. He is like the king of memes!

I would very much appreciate any suggestions,

Have you given any thought to the possibility of utilizing crypto debit cards? They offer a convenient way to use cryptocurrency for everyday purchases, and many of them also come with additional features such as rewards programs and cashback incentives. Some of the most popular options include the Binance Card, Coinbase Card, BitPay Card, Crypto.com Card...

Yes, it appears I've lost $170,000. And to make matters worse, I trusted someone online who gave me this info. I've lost everything. I don't know what to do.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through this. It is important to take a step back and assess the situation. Have you reported this to the authorities? At the same time, it's also important to learn from this experience and be cautious of trusting anyone online with financial information or investments in the future.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: March 21, 2023, 10:14:10 PM
It's not about how much money you have, it's about making the most of what you do have. Even a small investment can yield big returns in the world of crypto. I remember when I first started investing in Bitcoin, I only had a few hundred bucks to spare. But I did my research, took the plunge, and now I've seen my investment grow substantially. It's all about taking action, no matter how small. If you're waiting for the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin, you're going to be waiting forever.
1085  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who is most reliable person? on: March 19, 2023, 08:53:14 PM
You are barely making sense, but I can guess what you are trying to ask.  Smiley

To answer your question, I think sharing your private key with someone is a big deal as they will have full access to your bitcoins. If you want to do so, make sure it is someone you really trust and who understands all the risks. It might be tempting to share it with a family member, but they might not know how to keep it safe. As for someone who introduced you to bitcoin, I see no reason why you would do that. If you want to show gratitude, there are alternative and safer ways to do so. So, think carefully before sharing your bitcoin key and make sure you are comfortable with the person you are sharing it with.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: March 19, 2023, 07:42:19 PM

Imho developers shouldn't care about the price but focus on the development. In fact usually when price talk is allowed in the official chat, i am not investing into that.

Totally agree with you, mate! Back in the day, people invested in ICOs and IDOs during the bull market because they were all the rage and pretty much guaranteed investors a sweet return. That is why 99.99% of projects turned out to be scams in the long run.

But developers should focus more on the development of their projects than on the price of the tokens. At the end of the day, a project's success should be based on its technological advancements and real-world usefulness, not its price or how popular it is in the crypto market. That is my take on it, anyways.
1087  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: a new problem faced, help on: March 19, 2023, 06:52:31 PM
is this question worth changing the forums code or editing the forums code .

No, I do not believe that this question warrants changing or editing the forum's code. Usually, code changes should only be made if there is a critical issue or if there is a significant benefit to the user experience. In this case, the forum software works as it should.

how can i make this type of notification hidden or make the post to not show in my "show new replies to your posts" section,

I am sorry to say, but I do not think it is possible to make this type of notification hidden. The whole purpose of this feature is to keep you updated on new activity related to your posts.

I participated first time in bounty campaign but how can i get rid of this unwanted notification.

If you do not want to go through and read every single thread, you can simply click on "mark all messages as read" which will clear the list. At least until the next reply in one of those threads.
1089  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what to do if I addicted to login into the forum. on: March 19, 2023, 06:05:03 PM
I am a newbie and this is my first ever forum account and i am addicted to it, i log in many many times a day, what can i do to stop addiction, "every addiction is bad"

Well, they say the first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one, so kudos to you for recognizing your addiction!  Cheesy

But seriously, forum addiction? Really? I suppose you could try finding something else to do with your time, like knitting or watching paint dry. But let's be honest, what could possibly be more thrilling than scrolling through endless pages of forum posts? Just embrace the addiction and revel in your newfound hobby!  Cool

is it happened to your sometime when you were newbie?

In all seriousness, I have a feeling that this may not actually be a case of addiction. Good luck on your journey to recovery, though!

Probably a new drama. Simply ignore them if you can.

I am not sure what they are even trying to do here... Especially when I saw the post from their latest rep:

Hello guys!

The OP's account of this thread has nothing to do with 1xBit in any regards.

I expect we will have some good laughs about this one.  Grin

Hello guys!

The OP's account of this thread has nothing to do with 1xBit in any regards.
Ok you are confirming that there are going to be no efforts to fix any issues your trust history has? I am laughing out loud in here. Why did do even make this thread.

LOL! Someone trolling one of the biggest trolls on the forum? This will be a fun thing to watch.

@1xbit1.com, can you prove that you are in control of the 1xbit1(.)com domain?
1092  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best way to invest in BITCOIN on: March 18, 2023, 10:17:05 PM

To answer your question, it really depends on your strategy. Some people buy and hold onto their coins for the long term, hoping that the value will increase over time. Others prefer to trade actively, buying and selling coins as the market fluctuates in order to make a profit.

As for starting out with $100, it is definitely possible to invest in bitcoin with that amount. It is important to remember that crypto market can be a volatile and there is always the risk. It might be worth considering starting with a small amount and gradually increasing your investment as you get more comfortable with the market.

I remember there used to be websites that gives you 1-2 free satoshi. Is it still working? I know it's not investment though

Yes, there are still websites that offer small amounts of free satoshis as a way to introduce people to Bitcoin and encourage them to use it. These sites typically offer very small amounts, often only a few satoshis at a time, and require users to complete simple tasks like solving captchas or clicking on ads in order to earn them. You can check out freebitco.in for example, but if I remember correctly there is a relatively high withdrawal threshold. There are other Bitcoin faucets out there, but you will have to do some research on your own to find them.
1093  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my expirience on site Trustdice.com SCAM on: March 18, 2023, 09:53:00 PM
I see one more paid message from trustdice. Where we can see any complaint from my side to askgambers.com?

I can assure you that TrustDice did not pay me to make this post. However, if you choose not to believe me, that is within your rights.
1094  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my expirience on site Trustdice.com SCAM on: March 17, 2023, 11:39:57 PM
I am very grateful to you that you want to see an objective analysis of this situation. I sent 5 photos and video with passport. Unlike the casinos, which were able to identify some kind of fake from the photo. They took my money and they don't want anything more.

I have no personal experience as a customer of the casino, and I am not here to defend them. However, I am curious, how do you account for the fact that two impartial arbitrators reached the same conclusions in this particular case? First AskGamblers and now CasinoGuru. Both of them concluded that the casino acted within its rights according to its terms and conditions. It seems unlikely that two independent arbitrators would come to the same conclusion without strong evidence to support their decision which suggests that there may be some merit to the claims against you.

1096  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Knowledge Of Bitcoin Is Better Than Speculating on: March 16, 2023, 08:32:55 PM
Each type of investment has its similarities and differences, and it is important to recognize that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not the same as traditional investments like stocks and bonds. Even investing in bitcoin has big differences compared to other cryptocurrencies. While some may see parallels between these types of investments, we must understand that cryptocurrencies operate in a different way.

But, as you mentioned, investing time and energy into learning about the technology behind cryptocurrencies can be a wise long-term strategy. It is easy to get caught up in the hype of short-term gains, but focusing on education and knowledge is a more sustainable and profitable approach. Therefore, I encourage everyone to continue learning and stay informed about the latest developments in this world.
1097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A reminder that with your bitcoin in a cold storage, you can be your own bank on: March 16, 2023, 07:27:19 PM
Totally agree with you, mate! That is one of the coolest things about Bitcoin, the fact that you do not have to rely on any intermediaries or banks to manage your money. It is all up to you and your private keys, which is pretty rad if you ask me.

However, as much as we would love to ditch the traditional banking system altogether, the reality is that it is not exactly practical for most of us. Sure, using Bitcoin for some transactions and investments is awesome, but we still need banks for things like getting our regular paychecks, mortgages, loans, and other financial services. Plus, there is the fact that not everyone is comfortable managing their own money. Some people prefer to leave that to the experts, and that is totally fine too, imo.

But, for those of us who want to take control of our finances, Bitcoin and cold storage is definitely a great option. Just gotta make sure we do it right and keep our private keys safe and secure.

I am not familiar with all the gambling sites listed, as I have not reviewed them all. However, some sites, such as Bitvest, are not based on blockchain or smart contracts. So, I believe Bitvest is not an on-chain gambling site.
I thought you are not familiar with them? But how do you know that Bitvest is not among the on-chain betting sites?

Please read my response once more. To clarify, I said that I am not familiar with ALL the sites listed. However, I am well familiar with Bitvest as I have previously used their services and even promoted them by wearing their signature for a period of time. And no, they are not an on-chain gambling site as far as I know.

Am selling my btc account containing 0.3 btc for ethereum if it is a reputable member I go first

I am not entirely sure what you are trying to sell based on your statement. Could you please provide more information about what you mean by "your BTC account"? Is it really an account at some kind of exchange, as stompix mentioned? Unless you can withdraw funds to another wallet address (non custodial), it is probably a scam.

Please provide more details so that I can better understand your offer.
