Im new but.... im the only one who see this Sandra like a bot?

The response she gives seems like Chatgpt or something related.
~

Yup, you are probably right. A lot of her posts seem like they came from a ChatGPT or a similar type of AI software. They have that typical AI language flow and word choice. Also, the articles are not very well researched. They are just regurgitated information from other sources that you can find on the internet.
1202  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OLE7.IO scammed me 11700 USD in bitcoins without reasoning! on: February 05, 2023, 09:17:26 PM
They are operated under Ole Group International B.V. which also operates VODDS broker that are considered trusted agents so nothing looked suspicious on first view.
Ole7 says

Quote
OLE777 is affiliated to OLE Group and has a PAGCOR license. This website is operated under the PAGCOR license issued by the Philippines Government and is supervised by it.

So, they aren't directly operated by the Ole Group International B.V., they are affiliated to OLE Group. I can't see the verification link of 'OLE Group Curacao license' on the site. Probably, VODDS broker will say that they have no connection with Ole7.io and both are independent platform.

I believe they are lying about that. Evidence from multiple snapshots on the Wayback Machine (web.archive.org)suggests that they are indeed operated by the Ole Group International B.V. However, the statements were altered in recent months for an unknown reason. Here are a couple of screenshots:

http://web.archive.org/web/20230101190359/https://ole7.io/en/#/main

http://web.archive.org/web/20220505091014/https://ole7.io/en/#/main

I think that you were already aware of this, or perhaps this comment has slipped your memory:

OLE777 doesn't request for personal details during registration, but we need to write some personal information on the profile page of our account. They have gambling license (Ole Group International B.V.) from Curacao operator. They support deposits in BTC, ETH and some other stable coin. The UI of OLE7 casino (OLE777) is completely same as Bk8 casino.

1203  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which mining is good to start? on: February 05, 2023, 04:43:20 PM
I am planning to buy a mining rig here in bitcoin, but this is my first time.
What would you suggest to me?
~

Looks like you have got some homework to do before buying a Bitcoin mining rig! Asking these questions is like trying to bake a cake without knowing the ingredients. Trust me, you do not want to bite into that!  Smiley

My advice is to do your research and make sure you fully understand what you are getting into. Mining Bitcoin has its ups and downs, and it is important to know all the ins and outs, including how it works, what kind of hardware you need, and what kind of returns you can expect. And don't just rely on advice from unverified sources, such as random individuals on online forums – take your time and gather all the facts before diving in.
1204  Economy / Gambling / Re: OLE777 - Join Us For New And Exciting Promos! on: February 05, 2023, 03:05:34 PM
This is yet another serious accusation against Ole777. The scam accusation board is already filled with numerous open accusations.

Ole777Official, in order to maintain credibility and trust among the community, it is imperative that you are transparent in your actions and provide clear explanations for any issues or controversies that arise. I think it is high time you start taking action and addressing these issues, as your reputation is on the brink of collapsing.
1205  Economy / Reputation / Re: My honest two questions to Royse777. on: February 05, 2023, 02:17:52 PM
I also don't say Royse did good or bad. I think that the measure of all this should be the quality of posts in his campaign(s). If a spammer is allowed to spam, then yes, the complaints are more legitimate. But until then, all this is hypothetical at best.

I also do not see anything particularly positive or negative here. It is certainly unusual. I trust that Royse meant well, but I am not so sure about his methods. It is my belief that the management of a bounty campaign should have discretion in their decisions, unless it impacts the larger community. Sure, the manager can choose whoever they want for the campaign, that is not the main issue here.

I have to agree that what he is doing by accepting members and then asking them to have neutral removed doesn't make much sense to me
That part does not make much sense to anybody. The only thing I can think of is it being something related to Royse777 using it in future to have another attempt at having their own feedback revised.

The common sense approach would be to simply ask applicants that were on the verge of being selected for campaigns but refused because of negative or neutral tags to simply try to have the them removed then re-apply to join campaigns.

Apart from having ulterior motives for selecting participants then asking/forcing them to ask members to remove tags as a prerequisite to stay within the campaign, nothing else comes to mind and this is yet another error of judgement in a long line of errors by Royse777.

I have no idea what ulterior motives you suspect him of having. Do we know what kind of neutral tags he asked to be removed? I cannot find such information, and unfortunately, trust feedback is not archived anywhere.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the origins of provably fair technology in gambling? on: February 05, 2023, 01:24:51 PM
I think provably fair comes from CSGO gambling, in fact, it was the first virtual casino creating the term provably fair. I am not sure which counter-strike casino did.

Without a little proof, this statement is up in the air. A reference would anchor it down and give it some stability.  Wink

1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the origins of provably fair technology in gambling? on: February 04, 2023, 10:06:45 PM
The earliest known reference to this particular term can be found in a post on the Bitcointalk forum, which dates back to 2011. This early mention suggests that the idea of using the term "provably fair" to describe a honest and transparent system for gambling with bitcoin was a novel concept at the time. It is possible that the term had not been used in this sense before the advent of bitcoin casinos, but this remains unverified.
1209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: February 04, 2023, 06:44:09 PM
I think people are just afraid to sell their Bitcoin. The idea that you should HODL Bitcoin is very much being promoted. If you sell it, then you are not a true Bitcoiner and you are an outcast in crypto space. That's bad.

Yeah, I totally get what you are saying. The concept of HODLing Bitcoin is heavily promoted in the community, causing some individuals to be hesitant to sell their Bitcoin. But, the notion that selling Bitcoin makes you an outsider in the crypto world is not accurate. Everyone should have the freedom to make their own financial decisions without fear of being ostracized. It is important to keep in mind that for every seller, there is a buyer on the other side. No big deal.
1210  Economy / Reputation / Re: My honest two questions to Royse777. on: February 04, 2023, 06:09:42 PM
Recently, there was a similar discussion: "Members Asking For Neutral Trust To Be Removed". JollyGood responded to my query, stating that it was related to the sinbad.io campaign run by Royse777. It was claimed that he recruited members who had a neutral tag from certain DT members and later asked them to remove neutral ratings from their feedback pages.

As I previously commented in that thread, I have never witnessed such requirements from a bounty manager and I am not sure of its moral correctness. Every manager has the right to select participants in their campaigns, but they should not abuse their managerial position to sway the DT system.
1211  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk forum vs OpenAI - ChatGPT on: February 03, 2023, 11:34:45 PM
ChatGPT recently started with their subscription model (like I predicted) and they obviously want to earn money from all this AI hype,
but problem is that now g00gle is working on their own competition AI powered chat project called Atlas, so I am expecting more of this AI generated posts in future.
I am surprised that Google didn't buy them out. Or maybe they tried but they failed. But yeah, they really want to participate in this AI hype as it was announced today that they invested $300 million AI startup Anthropic.

It seems that Microsoft beat them to the punch, thanks to their deeper pockets. Apparently they were able to put much more money into the project, which gave them an edge.

1212  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many people read crypto exchange terms and condition this day? on: February 03, 2023, 08:12:57 PM
Sincerely have not even read the terms of condition, but sincerely humans are sometimes careless, we are mostly focused on the monetary aspect of crypto.

We would only go back to the terms and conditions only when we try to access a link in cypto and we are denied, that's when we might go back to terms and conditions to know why we were denied access,

And I also think many people don't also read the terms and conditions because it's of many pages and they are not patient enough to read them to the end...

When it comes to accepting or signing any terms or conditions, it is important to take the time to fully understand what you are getting yourself into. Unfortunately, many companies use complex language, or "fine print," to hide or minimize the visibility of important information. This can make it difficult for the average person to truly comprehend what they are agreeing to. This is especially important when it comes to financial agreements, where the terms and conditions can have a significant impact on your finances. By taking the time to carefully review the fine print, you will be able to make more informed decisions and potentially avoid any unwanted surprises down the line.

So, even though it may seem like a hassle at the moment, taking the time to review the fine print can ultimately save you a lot of headaches in the long run. Unfortunately, many people still neglect to do so.
1213  Economy / Reputation / Re: How can a person gain his/her trust in Bitcointalk forum? on: February 03, 2023, 05:31:28 PM
I got it now. My question was, Do you still get banned if no one reports you or finds a connection with banned accounts?
~

Yes. You can be banned from forum even if no one reports you to the moderators. The moderators' responsibility is to maintain the forum's integrity, regardless of whether there are user reports. However, the moderation policies of each specific board may vary. Some moderators use automated scripts to detect rule-breakers, while others manually review the posts.

For example, in recent days, a scammer has repeatedly attempted to post a topic for a fake "Bitcointalk wallet", which is simply malware in disguise. These accounts are promptly banned within minutes. Maybe I am wrong, but I believe moderators have the capability to automatically detect such posts, or at the very least, they manually monitor new posts and react appropriately.
1214  Economy / Exchanges / Re: https://crypto-exch.com/ ? on: February 02, 2023, 11:29:41 PM
https://crypto-exch.com/ what that site guys ? is it legit ? They want deposit for account verification for withdrawing

Any suggestion pls ?

I am not familiar with "crypto-exch.com", so I cannot speak to its legitimacy. In general, if a site is asking for a deposit for account verification before you can withdraw your funds, it is a big red flag. And in this case, it is probably a scam. Real exchanges do not operate this way, so proceed with caution.

Signed some weird transaction that leaks your private key
-cut-
Wait, i know there are wallet draining smart contracts out there but you can just disconnect those sites from metamask.
But signing a message doesn't reveal your private key, at least i don't think so. Otherwise my accounts that i am still using have been more compromised then i thought.
Can someone more tech-savvy please weigh in about this?

I agree with you, as far as I know there is no evidence of such a scam. To my knowledge, signing a message using a private key does not reveal the private key itself. If a private key could be revealed simply by signing a message, it would compromise the security of the entire system.
1216  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Request address balance from any Electrum server on: January 31, 2023, 09:18:14 PM
Why do you need an Electrum server when you can check the balance of any address on any blockchain explorer or via numerous blockchain APIs??
Or am I missing something here?
1217  Other / Meta / Re: I am login at forum but forget password on: January 31, 2023, 07:42:41 PM
I don't have access to email too. What are the options now ?

Did I get it right?  You woke up after three years of inactivity, but now cannot remember your password? How did you know it a few minutes ago? And, you cannot access your email account anymore?

This is really fascinating case. I would love it if you could elaborate more on it.

You can change your email address to a new one.

~

Yeah, I also believe that following your gut and prioritizing your health is crucial. I have heard similar advice from the people I have talked to like weighing the pros and cons, exploring better job opportunities, and thinking long-term... But, there are many factors at play here: the type of job, your financial situation and more. For example, if you have an amazing job opportunity available right now, then by all means take it! Ultimately, it is up to you to decide what is right for your situation and what will make you feel good about yourself.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin-ready linux distro on: January 29, 2023, 09:15:40 PM
The idea would be a minimalist setup, with some sort of system that automatically downloads, verifies and compiles the required software and libraries during the installation process.

Typically, during the installation process, the operating system and its core components are installed. However, it is common for many systems to have outdated or missing software and libraries that are needed to run applications and perform certain tasks. To ensure that the system is up-to-date and functioning optimally, it is important to perform software updates regularly.

No distribution, as far as I know, carries out software updates during the installation process. Instead, the updates are done after the installation is complete. This is often done through a prompt or a notification from the operating system, inviting the user to update the installed software.
1220  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Network of scam sites (help me ban all domain) on: January 29, 2023, 08:41:15 PM
It’s a pity, I thought that the crypto community would somehow help get rid of scam sites, maybe someone has a good reddit account to publish my first post on reddit in bitcoin or cryptocurrency groups.  Roll Eyes

Why did you remove the content from the OP post?
The community has made countless efforts to educate and raise awareness about scams, but it's ultimately up to individuals to conduct their own research and exercise caution when dealing with suspicious websites or investment opportunities. Everyone has their own approach to addressing this issue, and it's not a given that one specific approach is better or should be followed by all.
