2021  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 16, 2013, 10:36:39 PM

Okay good stuff....

I think you are sincerely working on this problem and aren't trying to scam us so I'll just say good luck with sorting out the issue, and thanks for all the updates.
2022  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 16, 2013, 08:50:08 PM
Alright Ukyo thanks, it looks like you are working towards resolving this....

1 small thing again though:

It would be smart / kind / & reasonable if you posted a warning on WeExchange. Something like "Note that any deposits may be subject to an arbitrary holding period up to a month due to technical difficulties" or somesuch.  This is only fair as this problem has been going on more than month with notice given to folks who are depositing.

2023  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder] Ukyo please process the withdraw request. on: November 14, 2013, 01:28:43 AM
Some people have been waiting more than a month. Something is obviously up.

At the very least Ukyo is absolutely responsible for failing to put up a notice on his websites that withdrawals are currently having problems and to expect a very long wait. It is inexcusable that the situation is what it is and Ukyo has made no mention of it on WeExchange or Bitfunder, instead, many people including myself have recently deposited to WeExchange and now have their BTC in limbo....
2024  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 13, 2013, 05:16:33 AM
I check my WeExchange account morning and evening (since Oct. 28, two weeks now). Don't worry, I'll post as soon as my withdrawal goes through.

Over 2 weeks to withdraw , or a month, is such bullshit. Really.  It's pretty lame that a warning isn't placed on the site. I moved money to WeExchange for nothing in the end even, I didn't even need to move it there, and now limbo. Could have at least warned people Ukyo that this has been going on for a month, on your site, before they deposit??? No excuse not to at all.  So frustrating...
2025  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 13, 2013, 03:17:21 AM

Thanks for this.

Sold out already though Smiley

Which bodes well for Asicminer.

I like this.

I wonder what chance it'll have of getting stuck in Canadian customs...
2027  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 13, 2013, 12:23:47 AM
Has anyone received any withdrawal today?  Damn I'm so worried about never seeing my BTC again... and I could really use it...

I love this but you forgot the part about three easy payments of $19.95  Tongue
2029  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 10, 2013, 09:48:53 PM
Thanks Ukyo for your efforts.

I respectfully suggest you consider posting on WeExchange / Bitfunder the difficulties expected with withdrawing however.  I (and no doubt countless others) would have not transferred BTC to WeExchange if I had any idea there was going to be a significant delay in withdrawing my funds.  It can't take more than a few minutes to put some sort of note on the site about this.
2030  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: November 10, 2013, 09:44:14 PM
Wasn't the cube supposed to be announced this weekend? Anybody got any news on this please share.

what news do you want, it's selling now ~435$

Where/who is selling this for 435, please and thank you.  I guess the 'official asicminer hardware' thread isn't the place I should be looking then apparently.

Yes, in between processing withdraws my time is mostly spent redesigning the wallet system to be able to handle large business needs.
Right now I am doing the tests using a new wallet since the old one is tied up 24/7 with withdraws.

-Ukyo

Ukyo, in all honesty... it's a bit hard to believe there are technical problems behind these delays.

Fractional reserve bank much?

Is there any evidence of this happening? Curious if so, I have not been following Bitfunder closely...
2033  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official ASICMINER Hardware Information on: November 08, 2013, 11:09:21 PM
Mining, overall is a risky proposition.

That being said, the Asicminer cube looks competitive and I think it's not a bad product at all. The the fact that you can order it and receive it in a week can not be understated. You can't really compare the cube with products that have not been released yet, like Cointerra or Hashfast, because the odds are they will be late.

If you can ROI in strictly BTC within 120 days then that's a reasonable purchase.

As others said though, if you have to take fiat/usd price into account, you are better off just buying BTC and holding instead of mining.
2034  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 08, 2013, 09:41:29 PM
On the other hand, it's not a inconceivably dumb move to sit back and work on cooling plans and other projects such as the exchange while your BTC reserves [edit:] "are appreciating against USD" are growing fast steadily and you can afford to find the top talent, make the right chip at the right time and then kick things into overdrive.   This may be a smarter move than rushing from behind to launch a chip that is on par with what is available...

Asicminer's BTC reserves aren't going to be evaporating on their own and they only have one chance to make their next gen chip, they have to do it right.

At this point it doesn't matter as much WHEN you come to market, the ASIC 'new tech' rush is over. Now what matters is how your chip compares to the competition when it comes out. Not sure if that is, was, or could be FC's plan but just saying as I did before that all is not lost if you bide your time with big cash reserves to jump into something at the right time, as opposed to stumbling into a contest you can't win by trying to rush to market.
2035  Economy / Securities / Re: Bitcoin ATM Canada on: November 08, 2013, 09:26:56 PM
I'm thinking about investing, sounds good. Please provide some proof you are affiliated with the Vancouver ATM guys though. If you aren't you need to let us know.

Depending on the proof given I may be able to verify further as I know a member of the Vancouver ATM team, he's a friend of friend.
2036  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 08, 2013, 09:20:22 PM
Ya my withdrawal is stuck too.

Went to withdraw manually from WeExchange then there was a error message, now my BTC is in limbo with just it showing as 'Processing' with no other information for a day now.

It was around 1 BTC too...not that much...but don't see how a normal withdraw could mess up like this, pretty concerning that there isn't enough btc it seems to cover immediate withdraws.
2037  Economy / Service Discussion / WeExchange (BitFunder) BTC withdraw lost on: November 08, 2013, 09:15:44 PM

Hey guys, anyone else have any problems with WeExchange?

Went to move my money out of Bitfunder yesterday.  There was an error message when I withdrew my BTC from WeExchange that appeared briefly. In short my BTC is in limbo now, the withdraw stuck on 'Processing' and no transaction with the given transaction ID ever showed up.

I wrote a support ticket but who knows how long that will take, was just wondering if anyone else had the same issues. Hoping they aren't running out of BTC because everyone is forced off of BitFunder.
2038  Economy / Speculation / Re: So who sold < $230? on: November 08, 2013, 12:04:07 AM
I sold most of my btc at 190.  I kept on expecting a big drop in price. Yet, BTC looks stronger than it has ever been and then some.  I'm fearing that might not be able to buy back in without taking a loss.  I'm still surprised at just how stable it as at the price these days.

Now I'm in the slightly uncomfortable position of being a huge, huge fan of Bitcoin yet hoping desperately for a price crash because most my investments are suffering at this high price.
2039  Economy / Securities / Re: [MCXNOW IPO] : 11,000 BTC raised [ UPDATE : 2 HOURS LEFT ! ] on: November 05, 2013, 11:40:34 PM
Hmm an exchange that was open to sell the scam coin mincoin?  Oh boy I want to invest that, take all my money, I'm sure that'll be a good investment.
