Climate change jumped the shark with Greta.

If memes could win elections... come to think of it, Trump is obviously a winner in that department so y'all Trump supporters don't even need to bother voting.

But I heard it's not MAGA any more. It's KAG.

So don't we Trumpers have to vote once for each meme? It was that or once for each Trump tweet, I don't recall which.

...We are only doing destruction to this world polluting rivers, cutting forests, killing wildlife. Recent Australian fires are nature warning

Really? Sure, some people want you to believe that.

But they are not "nature's warning. Not in the least."

2024  Other / Politics & Society / Re: homosexuality is unnatural nonsense from america on: January 10, 2020, 04:09:53 AM
Sorry, you really can't apply human or even mammalian concepts of sexuality to insects.

nature involves everything in nature,

there are also mamals than run states, naked mole rats create feminist states https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naked_mole-rat

and if you look back into pre christian history, you will find even more, gay romans, indians, chinese, africans, and also matriachic ruled india.

human body cells also create a state the cells are gender neutral.

regards

Just a clarification. You can defend sexual behaviors all you want, and there are many valid defenses. But justification by comparison with insects is just plain ridiculous. This is also true for a comparison with different mammalian species.

the universe is a big place, there could be huge insectoid species, that live like insects,

besides there are feminists and feminist kinder gardens, there are also people that research artificial womb,

that are signs for a societial organisation similar like the one of a insect state,

not to mention muslim harems, where in a city more than 50% of the women where basically property of a single man.

you call yourself smart using a computer, then at least be smart, and open.

the universe is big, complex and diverse, if you don't like it become a farmer again.

regards
Yes, but wasn't your position (paraphrasing...) homosexuality is okay because (A) (B) (C) reasons...

An ethical or moral justification can't be made by comparison with insects. Sexuality in mammals varies widely. Some have been studied a lot, some species hardly at all.

As an example of a valid justification, suppose a king in the Middle Ages wanted to maximize male baby production so he could have the biggest armies. He might well set social incentives for baby production both through marriage and out of marriage sex, and set negative social incentives for gay behavior.

That's totally rational - in that context.

@Spendulus how does an experimental setup that uses an electric effect used, for e.g. in PCR Gel DNA testing (the effect sorts molecules by size), somehow equate to death rays? The Coulomb Force is already on the books, it's just never applied to the grand scale because reasons.

Hey buddy no raygun no belief. Tell you what. Put that raygun together, you got the theories all figured out. Anything that holds all that firmament shit up in the sky has boogie power.

You know that's a great deal.

Let's keep it simple. Pistol configuration, conventional iron sights, sixteen shot capable, gigajoule range. Beam focusing to 3mm at 25 feet, effective range four miles.

Operationally, I blast a couple squirrels and you get paid. Is that cool or not?

In fact, just in case you got pet squirrels and don't like that test scenario, we can do paper targets with squirrel pictures. Testing at 75 feet.

Deal or not.

the climate problem needs solutions related to controlling the water cycle

You've obviously done serious studying on climate or just know about it, and have an ability to put the issues in simple terms that people can understand.

But I differ on this issue. If you go with the trend "that there is a climate problem, and our valiant politicians must SOLVE IT..."

That is a guaranteed fucking disaster.

Reflect a bit on what would happen if you gave politicians control over a part of the hydraulic cycle.

First of all, they would sense the power in weather control, and then they'd use it for every corrupt payoff imaginable. The result would be in part a continual harping on the "climate problem."

In fact, there may have been no "problem." Or there may have been a nominal change in climate based on man's actions. This is only about a power grab. That's all it ever was.

The really serious problem would be the onset of another "Little Ice Age." That is because of the distribution of people, many in large cities, many close to the coast. If one looks at the loss of crops during the LIA and asks what would happen if we had a similar loss today, that would be a disaster like the human race has never seen.

That would be a problem cause by an internal nature cycle of the Sun, affecting the Earth indirectly. It would affect the level and distribution of small atmospheric particles around which clouds form. (ref CERN "Cloud" experiments). Could engineers control cloud formation such as to negate the effects of a "quiet Sun" and cause life to go on as normal?

That's a huge question and it is a real question. But so far, and possibly inalterably, the politicians will jump on any false narrative that yields them power and money. The more difficult option of actually solving a problem is never even addressed.
2028  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TRUMP IMPEACHED! on: January 10, 2020, 12:17:05 AM
Trump is impeached by the house and will then go to senate for trial.

This is a fact.

And this is good. Why? Because it shows the common people that the House Dems are corrupt. After all, the only reason they are impeaching Trump - the best President since Reagan - is because Trump is cleaning up the corruption.

Cool

No one can ever clean the corruption. Once you kick them out, there will always be someone who will do it and replace their king. It's like a gang of drug lords. Governments always think they score high when they kill or arrest the most influential drug lord, but it's not like that. Someone will always sit in the highest chair.

There are scales of corruption. You might have a drug dealer on your block. Maybe they sell dime bags to teenagers. Maybe they sell Fentanyl laced heroin to kids. Are they the same? I don't think so. Corruption is like a jungle of vines, you can only really cut a path through it, and it must be maintained or else you will have to start over again. This maintenance has been lacking for some time, and we are getting dangerously close to transforming from a high trust society to a low trust society, and that takes entire generations to repair.

I merited that. Well said.

^^^ What bearing does this have on whether scripture is true? Taking a badly translated description of a rino then screaming unicorn farts doesn't have any relevance to whether the text is referring to an actual animal.

The Coulomb Force can be demonstrated via experiment in the lab. You can't demonstrate what causes gravity in the lab because it's nonsense, stop being a loser.

Make the raygun using your advanced sciency stuff, and upon testing it and verifying it works on some squirrels, I will pay a fair price for it. Would one bitcoin do?

Just keep in mind in evaluating things, that the USA does not need Middle East oil anymore. Thanks to fracking, those days are over.

Because oil is a fungible resource, it is likely that no part of this fracas with affect oil prices.

....

Right, that's what they wanted....

Until Trump wanted it...

Then they have to NOT WANT IT!!!

There were posts in facebook that Trump only did it because he wants to delay the impeachment proceedings. It could be true. He seem afraid of this impeachment when he seem to have the numbers supporting him.  Demo still doesn't like what is happening since its Trump that's doing it. They hate and disagrees everything he do.

They really should not hate EVERYTHING he does.

Incorrect! You lose. That is neither a meme nor does it involve Trump. I suggest you remedy your cognitive ailments with a visit to a witch doctor of a tribe that still believes the earth is flat.

Thinking back to my visit to a witch doctor "university", rooms full of shrunken heads, etc, I do not recall any of them believing such things.
2036  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2020 Democrats on: January 07, 2020, 02:03:12 PM
Who from the Democratic Party is going to be the right candidate to take on Trump ....
As far as the Democrats are concerned who has that perfect mix of charisma, being well spoken, well mannered and being well informed on issues that matter and makes themselves look like an excellent candidate on TV during the debates?

If Elizabeth Warren is going to win the Democratic nomination will she succeed where Hillary failed so miserably? If Biden gets the nomination would he win the Presidency because of the whole Ukraine/Impeachment issue as a backlash?

Still a long way to go but the Democratic that takes on the incumbent will find it very tough and the incumbent will find it much harder this time round as the Democratic Party will not get complacent or take anything for granted again.

I think the Dems are going to find it difficult to get their average voting crowd to even go to the polls, after the SEVERAL clown shows and the many clown candidates they've pushed.

With US doing air strikes and killing top generals of Iran, it might be the first strike towards world war 3. North Korea must be feeling jealous by all this as we all know Kim Jong un wants the lime light always on him. Iran will respond to this soon and we may see a war.
Actually it makes many country scared because of the strikes that has done by US that killed the general of iran. Honestly,  IRAN already raise a red llag in their mosque which signifies that a war is coming soon.  Hopefully this wont happen and will have peace on earth.

Soliemani was on the ground, on the street next to the US Embassy, directing the attacks there.
