2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Callum Smith Super Middleweight Title on: December 20, 2020, 06:49:27 AM
Congratulation to Canelo for winning the fight it was a perfect match win for Canelo he totally dominated Callum Smith, Canelo's offense and defense is so perfect I have never seen a fighter like Canelo who can do offense and defense simultaneously, I believe he is the best pound for the pound now because of what he showed today, he looks tremendous tonight.

There is no longer any doubt that Canelo is the best pound for pound fighter. Spence, Crawford, and Loma don't come close to matching his resume.
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: December 20, 2020, 12:26:32 AM
That is really sad and a lesson learned that we should never invest in a website which uses our money (bankroll) to run a promo on their website and the investors have a high risk of losing their overall investment because of that promo. The company should take the responsibility of these type of promos and should keep investors out of this. By using investor funds, they are playing with their trust.

What's really annoying is that when they re-opened investments they said that investments would be paused during competitions. Because of this statement I was confident that my profit would remain intact regardless of how things turned out and didn't close my investments. Now my lifetime profit is in the negative.

is this serious, especially #5?

Yes, it's serious. A word of explanation: a paused investment will just be "frozen" - it will retain it's exact value, but will not participate in the bankroll and profits. An investor could still close the investment and cash out anytime.

I think this is the only reasonable way to run competitions where we share profits with the players (like: 50% of site profits goes to the prize pool), unless anyone has any other idea?

Cheers,
Ethan
2063  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: December 19, 2020, 05:10:33 AM

I noticed the guy who is always playing with a 9900x multiplier has had some really bad luck these past couple of days. Unfortunately for investors most of his losses have been from Ethereum gambling, which is not a coin that the public can invest with.
Past couple days? Nope. He was just only lose yesterday on ETH, although today he has won a bit from his losses before (not recovered yet). See this 2 hits by him
Bet #9365627794  ETH bet  0.00083846ETH win
8.29991554 ETH

Bet #9365630947  ETH bet  0.00083846ETH win
8.29991554 ETH

He keeps changing accounts while he think it already profit or didn't hit 9900x yet.

Those big hits came after I made the post. Before that he was also losing alot. You can see on the investor stats that the bankroll made almost 4 ETH in profit for the hour prior to his big wins.

Hi,

Does anybody have some long-term stats over the bankroll investment?

What I want to know what is more profitable - YOLOdice bankroll investment, loaning to margin platforms, or loaning to the lending platform (yearly interest).

Thanks

You can enable zoom on the candlestick charts and go back to see how much profit the site has made over these past years. For individual investors there are a few topics in the forum where people discuss how much profit they've made.

2065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin advertising by celebrities. on: December 19, 2020, 02:47:30 AM
I don't think she gave away $1 million of her own money. This was obviously some kind of paid advertisement by CashApp to get some promotion when the hype around Bitcoin is very intense. I don't know how helpful it was to give people small amounts that they would be unable to withdraw and have to go through extra verification in order to be able to accept the BTC. The only positive thing is that mainstream support takes away some of the stigma around Bitcoin and fewer people see it as a scam or something that is only  used for illicit purposes.
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Golovkin vs. Szeremeta IBF Middleweight Title on: December 19, 2020, 02:28:33 AM
This was a one sided beatdown that we expected to see. If Oscar de la Hoya decides to fight him then I feel sorry for him. GGG might be older and a bit diminished but he can still cause some serious damage and Oscar has not been in the best shape since he retired. I would rather see GGG fight the winner of Smith vs. Canelo or a different champion.
2067  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: December 19, 2020, 12:44:57 AM
We've been there before - some players tend to gamble with really high bankrolls, which let them win most of the time. But when they fail, they fail spectacularly and site profit grows huge. If you look our stats https://yolodice.com/#stats/investor you'll see ups and downs. It's not uncommon for the site to gain 60 BTC in a few weeks too.

I am glad things start rolling - I am seeing old players coming back to YD, and a bunch of new accounts too.

Cheers,
Ethan

2068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regret in cryptocurrency investment? on: December 18, 2020, 03:14:53 AM
I invested in an ICO that turned out to be a scam and the people who were responsible have fled the country. The ICO was called Paragon Coin. They had a lot of marketing and they even paid some celebrities to endorse them and they got a Forbes contributer to write a shill article. A lot of people called them out for being a scam but I thought a lot of the hate was just because their CEO was a former beauty queen.

Before that I also invested in some cloud mining schemes, ponzis, and other random scams. Losing money in scams is a worse feeling than not getting enough profit by selling too low.
2069  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 Profit competition 0.5+ BTC prizes ENDS TODAY on: December 18, 2020, 02:27:55 AM
Winners are having some real luck as they are winning the competition, bitcoin price surged today crossing 23000$+ as well. So, its a double bonus for them. Investors in btc bankroll are having hard time as they are losing each time with their win and easily the investment is down by 4% just during this week of competition.  Sad

You would think that with the higher wagering volume during competitions that profit for investors would be up. We've seen in two straight competitions that this is not the case. My theory is that people who participate in competitions tend to be more experienced gamblers and they know how to maximize their potential profit.

Pls is it possible to change from hcaptcha to another type of captcha?

Problem is I cannot do any of the free spin given to me from email because the hcaptcha attached is just impossible to pass

I think they've already lowered the difficulty because it is not as hard to pass as other sites I've seen with hCaptcha. It is still kind of tricky. They will ask you to select every picture of a motorcycle and one of the squares will have something that looks like it may or may not be a motorcycle windshield. Another square might have a guy riding an electric bicycle which I think is technically a motorcycle but I don't know if hCaptcha interprets it that way.

AGREE that was by far the bigest bet they ever had . 39btc+ why did you pay out so fast? will you give me my win if trump is in office january 20?!

When you made your bet you were betting on who will be elected president. It is very clear who that person was. There has already been enough benefit of the doubt given to Trump and delayed payouts long enough. There is no plausible scenario remaining where he is still in office after January 20th. Even if something happens to Biden, then it will be the Vice President-elect who will be sworn in.

These people somehow got my email address and have been spamming me for a few weeks now. I knew it was a scam as soon as I saw their website.

I don't know why people think a license is so important. There's been licensed casinos who took people's money and disappeared and nobody even tried to hold them accountable. You would think the government who gave them a license would have a way to track them down. The most popular licenses among crypto casinos seems to be in places where there is virtually no enforcement if they happen to mess up.
2074  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: How To Choose My First Hard Wallet on: December 17, 2020, 12:10:21 AM
The database breach makes me weary of Ledger. As long as you're not worried about being phished then it is a good choice for a hardware wallet. Their wallet has had a great reputation and has excellent security. You can say the same thing about Trezor. It is a great wallet for storing large amounts of crypto.
2075  Other / Politics & Society / Trump Considers Clemency For Ross Ulbricht on: December 16, 2020, 03:40:47 AM
In his final weeks in office before Joe Biden’s inauguration, President Donald Trump is weighing granting clemency to Ross Ulbricht, the founder and former administrator of the world’s most famous darknet drug market, Silk Road, The Daily Beast has learned.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-considers-clemency-for-ross-ulbricht-silk-road-kingpin-convicted-of-drug-and-money-laundering-charges

Regardless of what you might think of Trump, it is a good thing for someone who was unfairly locked up to be given a second chance.
2076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Callum Smith Super Middleweight Title on: December 16, 2020, 03:05:48 AM
Today they had a face off and the size difference is incredible. It is a bit shocking to see this. This can certainly play a factor in the outcome of this bout. Smith is also 30 years old so Canelo won't have the age advantage he had when he faced Kovalev or GGG. I'm excited for this weekend and I expect this to be a close fight.

2077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adult companies and bitcoin? on: December 16, 2020, 02:46:17 AM
One or two isolated incidents used to target an online video streaming site, which has millions of videos. The video mentioned here was uploaded by one of the users and the allegation is that Pornhub didn't suspended the user and deleted the video soon enough. How can they do that without proper investigation? What going on now is just another witch hunt by radical Christian organizations, who want to ban porn.

This is so true. There is no effective way to sanitize the internet of illegal content without imposing widespread censorship and mandatory KYC. This seems to be the goal of the anti-porn crusaders who are using this 'protect the children' appeal to emotion to censor online free speech through legislation such as the EARN IT Act.

Pornhub has been accused of filming unconscious women 👩 getting fucked.

It is defined as rape since the woman 👩 can not give consent.

That is not true at all. This type of content is not allowed on Pornhub and they always take action to remove that stuff. Most of it before it even goes live. There are far fewer cases of illegal content on Pornhub than on Facebook and Twitter but there is a big double standard because they are an adult company. They are feeding you propaganda to promote their agenda. Just today there was another of these BS articles in The Guardian saying that porn is a gateway drug to child abuse.
2078  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: December 15, 2020, 07:22:38 PM
People here are not very smart... you want to get payed for something that didnt happen yet. Wait until 6 january

Biden's victory has already been certified at the county and state level, the electoral college has voted. How many more times does Biden need to win for it to really be official? There is no need to wait for January because we already know what the outcome will be. Despite what some viral social media posts might be claiming there is nothing that Republicans can do at this point to reverse the results of the election.

You are absolutely right, Betfury is winning a lot of players, honestly the hunger to get a lot of BFG is going viral, many are betting with BTC to increase BFG, it is incredible, on Youtube there are many who are saying that they prefer to make big bets with BTC, Also recently they did a live stream, it would be excellent if they could give it a more fun touch with gifts in satoshis for the spectators, as they do in stake.com.

I've seen some of these YouTube videos and they always make me want to go on a gambling binge to mine as many tokens as possible. I've mined a few tokens with TRX but it seems that the BTC subtoken gives you much better dividends. Because the wagering volume for BTC is 10x greater but mining price for each subtoken is almost the same then the BTC dividends are also going to be much greater.

From what I can tell the last few that were holding out finally paid out yesterday, except for the ones that had January 20th as their deadline.

They did the right thing but there are still some delusional people who think Trump still has a chance to stay in power.
