2081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 27, 2021, 04:28:52 PM
Vasiliy Lomachenko displayed a masterclass for all the fight fans to see and it was magnificent performance against Masayoshi Nakatani and every move he made was exceptional and was able to finish him in the later rounds and i would love to see the rematch now with Teófimo López and that would be a great fight and i doubt whether Teófimo López will be willing to do a rematch.
2082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Prediction for 2024 on: June 26, 2021, 11:16:22 PM
The prediction on BTCitcoin will be achieved in the next 3 years and hopefully we will reach the 6 figure valuation by the next major rally either this time or after the next halving. I am not confident about the alts you mentioned especially BNB considering the amount of coins they have in circulation and the upgrades ETH is undertaking is not easy and any mess up could doom them forever.
2083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you have any challenge with Binance p2p on: June 26, 2021, 09:57:10 PM
Im never using the service since i dont think theres any benefit from it, its seems market price is cheaper than the price the seller offer on the p2p market.
Also, i heard some of user complain that the seller didnt responsive regarding to the transaction process.
The P2P market helps if you are having issues with your local government when they are against cryptocurrency transaction and you can very well use them to overcome any restrictions and it will be traded at a premium than the market. There will be disputes due to banking network issues when the sender gets their money debited from the account while the person on the other end did not receive the amount credited and it usually takes a couple of days to get that transaction settled.

~
What i want to understand is whether we have to undergo mandatory KYC before trading P2P if not the risk is higher if you are rushing for the approval button. I guess it will go into dispute if there is an issue and how time it will take to see a resolution and how is the liquidity.
I am using their sister site WazirX for P2P transactions and they have strict KYC before making any trade and if there is a dispute is usually gets resolved in a couple of days and hopefully that is the situation with Binance as they are using the WazirX P2P platform for Binance as well.
2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 26, 2021, 08:28:43 PM
I am happy because Sri Lanka did not lose by 100 runs. They have been defeated by just 90 runs  Grin. I do not understand the reason for the poor performance of the Sri Lankan team. I think if this team goes to play a series against Afghanistan now, they will lose. Watching the Sri Lankan match is now a waste of time.
All three matches Sri Lanka won the toss and in the first two occasions they chose to bat first and ended up badly and in the third they tried their luck at chasing and one thing was missing, they did not have a great batting line up and there is nothing they can do about it unless they find young talents who can play fearless cricket and can clear the boundary with ease.

Another interesting match is going on between South Africa and West Indies and South Africa has set a target of 160 runs and with all their major players back in the West Indies squad including Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Jason Holder, Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo i think they will chase the score easily.
2085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 26, 2021, 07:40:18 PM
Already Wales 0 - 4 Denmark
This is largely because of the red card on Harry Wilson and then Wales' midfield quickly collapsed, but even the third goal was a result of them getting several yellow cards and as a result not pressing too hard.
The match was already decided and Wales were already down with 3 goals when Harry Wilson got the red card and their defense and midfield performance was really bad .

I'm actually appalled at how Wales managed only one shot in the second half, and it wasn't even on target. They did much better in the first half when they shot 10 times, but only once on target. And they only managed one corner in the entire game.
Just one shot on target for the entire match for Wales says a lot about how they played the match  Cheesy. They knew they had no chance to win the match and hence was aggressive in tackling and got 4 yellow card and a red card Grin.
2086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Has Ordered All Financial Institutions To Cut Crypto -Related Services on: June 26, 2021, 05:37:18 PM
Their decision is bad for China's economy. Crypto related services in China were generated as much as 10-billion dollars per year so general lost is estimated to amount up to trillion-dolar -' they are own worst enemy". Reportedly, among big Chinese names that   have already move from China are Bitmain, Blockcap and Argo Blockchain.
It is a big surprise that these news are coming out again as if these bans are new,

Here is the timeline for all their cryptocurrency related decisions.

  • initial coin offerings (ICO)  September 2017
  • People's Bank of China (PBOC) basically their central bank banned all exchange trading somewhere around 2019

Further Chinese institutional investors were banned from investing in BTCitcoin years ago and these news are coming out as if they are new decisions.

2087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Tank Davis vs Barrios - June 26 on: June 25, 2021, 09:49:37 PM
It will be another big fight for Davis, but I think he can win against Barrios via knockout as I believed that he can carry his power and he will be comfortable as there's not much of a weight drain to meet the weight.
I am also expecting a win by Tank Davis and he is the heavy favorite and everyone thinks that Tank Davis can bring his knockout power to a higher weight division but the only issue i see is the massive height difference of 13 cm between Mario Barrios and Tank Davis and if Mario Barrios can fight smartly taking full advantage of his height and reach advantage we might see an upset.
2088  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Inflation only happens when Central Banks print High Denominated Notes? on: June 24, 2021, 11:03:44 PM
For example in Zimbabwe I see kids carrying notes in their pockets displaying on them $10 Trillion Zimbabwe dollars. These poor starving kids are trillionaires much richer than the richest billionaires like Elon Musk and Bill Gates on the planet on a monetary unit scale.
What is the point in having trillions if it does not have an intrinsic value .

In the US the highest denominated note bill now is $100.
So the question is as long the highest denominated bill still remains $100 then there wont be any high/hyper inflation worries in the future?
Inflation can be different types and hyper inflation is a direct result of a government printing too much money and the valuation of goods and services keeps on increasing and bad government policies for years are one of the major reasons for every country that suffered hyperinflation around the globe.

It is not directly affecting with a government printing notes of higher denomination but it has an indirect impact because once hyper inflation sets in the government will be forced to print out notes of higher denomination to balance the ease of spending in the market.

Bitcoin is a hedge against inflation but if there's no inflation or there is inflation but manipulated to look like there's no inflation then what that will mean for bitcoin?
When hyperinflation sets in people usually dump their local currency to something stable and usually they go for USD or EURO and now with BTCitcoin they can very well choose them rather than looking for other fiat currencies.
2089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 24, 2021, 10:11:24 PM
Multan Sultans won this years PSL tournament, they dominated the match and played as a unit with the bat and ball and this year there were many good performance from Pakistan talents and this will give them a good exposure and hopefully build a good team for their national side.

England won the second T20 against Sri Lanka and their batsman needs to perform better and give the bowlers an opportunity to perform and even with the low score Wanindu Hasaranga and both their left hand pace bowlers bowled well.
2090  Economy / Economics / Re: When everybody tell you take take risk with money on: June 24, 2021, 08:38:10 PM
You can take risk with your life, you can take risk with your computer.
But nobody would tell you to take risk with them, but they all tell you to take money risk because why?
This is basically the same, risking your money is taking risk with your life as well. There is a fine line when it comes to investment and taking the risk necessary.

When it comes to BTCitcoin anyone who invested a few thousand dollars when it all started made a fortune and those are not risky investments but taking a chance by investing in the new market but then there are many that sold all their investment and even house and invested in BTCitcoin and it is a risk that some took hoping to make a fortune and hopefully everything paid off.
2091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 24, 2021, 07:20:12 PM

I don't think that there is any chance of getting a result here. Only 90 overs of play remain and 18 wickets need to fall. And looking at the scoring rate so far in this match, I would say that neither of the two teams is aggressively pushing for a win. The conditions are suitable for seam and swing bowling, and therefore difficult for batting. At this point, India has a lead of just 32 runs. In order to get to a lead of at least 200 runs, they need to bat for another 60-70 overs, which will give them around 20-30 overs to bowl out New Zealand.
The reason i expected a result is because if you look at the recent tours by India, they loose the first match and then come back and win the rest of the match and series and even though the WTC final was disrupted by weather, Indian batsman failed big time and you should give big props to New Zealand to restrict India when everyone thought the match would be a boring draw and then went out and win the match is incredible.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 23, 2021, 07:21:41 PM
What an insane performance from Spain! They started the tournament really bad but they put an end to their bad luck. And it was a great way to do it.  Grin  They just demolished Slovakia 5-0. And Spain are going to promote to the playoffs directly thanks to this result.
Spain started the match really bad as well, missed a penalty and the goalie Dubravka was confident after saving the penalty but he messed up when he was not able to catch the ball which went high after hitting the cross bar and it landed as a goal and it was a mistake that changed the match and then Spain started to attack further and won by a whopping margin.

The specialty of this Euro is that we are seeing self goals in almost all of the matches  Cheesy.
2093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 22, 2021, 08:02:12 PM
It was surprising to see that India coming back into the game by restricting New Zealand and full credit goes to Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma for troubling the New Zealand batsman and even though there is not much time left in the match, the match was entertaining and India lead by 32 runs and if New Zealand can restrict India as soon as possible then we might even see a result.
2094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 20, 2021, 07:21:16 PM
The momentum is still with New Zealand and i thought the Indian pace bowlers will trouble the New Zealand batsman like Kyle Jamieson did to the Indian batsman but Jasprit Bumrah was disappointment while Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami bowled well and Mohammed Shami was unlucky as there were some tough chances when he was bowling.
New Zealand played really well against England and they are continuing their performance against India pace bowlers as well and lets see how they will be playing against the spinners tomorrow.

The morning session will be important and what i thought was that Jasprit Bumrah should bowl a more fuller length/

South Africa is struggling in the second innings and Kyle Mayers is turning out to be a wicket taking bowler as he once again took 3 wickets and they lost 7 wickets for 73 runs and they lead by 222 runs which is not that huge. The match is getting interested because i think West Indies has the team to chase down anything around 250 runs.
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 20, 2021, 05:49:38 PM
~
But still, you are talking about his capability in UFC, not in the real boxing world where Jake Paul is good at. We are too hype on his opponent but when they are in the ring, Jake Paul would easily finish them. So, no, I'm not gonna fall for the hype, the only one who can beat Jake Paul is a real boxer.
Tyron Woodley last won a fight in the UFC in 2018 and after that he is on a loosing streak and he is not showing his explosive skills he showed for years and he is 39 years old and he is not getting better, if the fight was in his prime i would wage a bet on Tyron Woodley to win but Jake Paul also picked the fight knowing that he is washed up and he is confident that he could finish the fight but still it is the most difficult opponent Jake faced and i will be surprised if Jake Paul will be able to knock out Tyron Woodley as he is having a good chin.
2096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 20, 2021, 03:48:01 PM
Could anyone have imagined that India would lose all their wickets for just 217 runs? India has one of the best batting lineups in the world. By taking all the wickets for 217 runs, the New Zealand bowlers have shown how efficient they are and how much the pitch is helpful for pace bowlers. From this, it is clear that keeping Jadeja and Ashwin in the squad is the wrong decision of the Indian management.
The pitch was swinging a lot and it was a huge test for the batsman and they were not able to build partnership and ended up with 217 runs on the board which is disappointing and i expected India to pick up some early wickets but New Zealand is surviving and already scored 54 runs without loosing a wicket and India needs to somehow find the break through if they wanted to win the match.

The last two days the pitch might assist spinners and you cannot conclude now whether it was a bad decision, Indian bowlers are not getting the swing the New Zealand bowlers were able to achieve and that means the pitch is changing.
2097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so heavily undervalued? on: June 19, 2021, 10:17:10 PM
I don't know why but dark coins like monero, dash, zcash, etc. have been highly underperforming during this bull run if you compare ETH and BNB to BTC in terms of both BTC and USDT.
The reason is all the coins had these huge rally because of institutional institutions investing heavily in the major coins in the market and if you look at the portfolio of some of the publicly available institutional investors we cannot see them including Monero in their portfolio and even Grayscale Investment who invested in major cryptocurrencies which include Zcash and its fork Zen did not invest in Monero.

Regulatory reason might be the reason these institutional investors are staying away from privacy coins and i do not trust Zcash as a privacy coin either because of the obvious comments made by Zooko during the wannaCry attack that they can comply with the authorities to trace the criminals.
2098  Economy / Speculation / Re: Number of transactions declining in last 2 months. on: June 19, 2021, 08:06:00 PM
~
In April and May there was around 8 million and this month seems to be even below 7 million. There was no such bad month in the last 4 years. Is this a clear sigh we are already yin bear market or reasons are more fundamental and more serious for Bitcoin than just price and speculation.
It is a sign that everyone is holding their coins most probably in exchanges and waiting for the market to move in either direction.
If you want to have a conclusive study you need to check the liquidity and volume of trade in exchanges as well along with the volume of transactions and if the volume is high in exchanges and the liquidity is low then we can assume that the bear market is approaching but the decline in number of transactions does not necessarily mean the bear is near.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 19, 2021, 09:39:13 AM
New Zealand won the toss and asked India to bat and it is going to be a challenge for the batsman and it is good to hear real crowd noise rather than using fake crowd noise  Cheesy.
The ball is swinging and it has good carry and pace and it is going to be a challenge for the batsman and the Indian openers needs to play carefully.

Shubman Gill should be careful and he just avoided a close run out chance where there is no way they could score a single.
2100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 18, 2021, 10:08:08 PM
Currently all the big guys dropping out from the olympic games this will make djokovices job for the golden slam a lot easier. I think no one can stop him at this point currently
From what i understand Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic did not make their decision about participating in the Olympics and Roger Federer is not in the best form and more over he is having injury concerns  and this might be the last chance before retirement to win another gold and Nadal and Thiem made their decision along with several other well know players

When other players are withdrawing Naomi Osaka is willing to miss the Wimbledon and plans on focusing on the Olympic games and she is a medal prospect.
