2081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 18, 2023, 08:57:28 PM
And remember, it's always better to walk away with a small win than to keep gambling and end up losing it all.
This is lowkey yet not being noticed by many. All we want is to win but then when there's a little amount that we can take away, that seems to be not enough for some and that's why it's needed to be looked upon by someone who keeps on losing and isn't satisfied with his results.
A little win is already a good indication that one should take a look at the brighter side and never ignore these amounts because if they pile up, the amount becomes bigger and that win is going to be recognizable.
2082  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Achraf hakimi's smartness be the new normal for footballers. on: April 18, 2023, 11:28:17 AM
There is a reason prenuptial agreements exist, I find it all really sad though. The world would he a better place if everybody was more honest
This is true, these prenuptial agreements have been more popular with hardworking people and mostly with the celebrities that we know of before they tie the knot with their partners. IMHO, it looks like Hakimi's move is being praised but if we're going to think on the brighter side, he should have thought of his kids rather than this. It's understandable that he's trying to protect his wealth and don't want to give it to her ex-wife and benefit from it but then, it's sad that he had moved it all before Hiba knew it. Well, if it's all about wealth and money, distrust and disloyalty comes out in so many forms even if both of your soul have lived together.
Still, Hiba has her fortune that she worked hard from her own career.

2084  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] GCrypto is now available to selected users on: April 18, 2023, 09:55:00 AM

2085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need your opinion on the casino project ( gambling ) on: April 17, 2023, 10:52:25 PM
Thanks again for all your advice and explanations! I read this forum for a long time, firstly because I am interested in cryptocurrencies, and secondly, as I wrote above, for my own entertainment I am testing different casinos, sometimes not even known, the most popular and successful that you mention in previous posts I have already tried, and some more than once.

I have a weekend soon, which I just going to spend a few casinos you mentioned earlier and try the one I mentioned above, for a small amount which you also advised me in one of the posts above, and be sure to tell you about my experience.

Regards!
The weekend's done and that will be an interesting point of view if you're going to tell us what are you experiencing with this casino. Because as you can see, many weren't really familiar with it, and also me. Are you making a blog or a review website for casinos since you have said that you're testing all of them out? There are plenty of choices by just staying in here and you can give your reviews per each of them basically on your own website, through their threads, or your own thread just like the other reviewers, they've got some reviews on different casinos as per their experiences and as well as other's experiences because they also ask other gamblers to share their experiences from these casinos. In the latter part, you've said that testing them with small amounts. That's actually what you should do in most of your tests unless you're willing to add up some money to keep on testing them until you're satisfied with the result based on the review and test that you're doing on them.
2086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 17, 2023, 10:11:54 PM
However, the concern for the new casinos are about not being genuine to their service and business, the few other new casinos have that intention to effin up innocent gamblers that would just like to try them out.
All that is needed is money. If a new casino is not a scam but genuine and ready to please their customers with excellent services, all they need which is most important in the beginning is money, if new casino has money for advertisment, having deposit bonus for newly registered members and also having other promotional offers for their customers and also having excellent service, such casino will not find it hard to grow and become big.
True, they're willing to spend a lot of money just to impress their customers as they start out. But with what we're seeing, only a few really do this.
A few that's only willing to amass genuine customers because that's their target from the beginning.
They'd be willing to spend on marketing, and promos and even could give free withdrawals and spins or games depending on what type of games they do have.
It's okay to get into different ones and you've got budget playing on each of them and if some trouble comes and you've anticipated that it's very likely to happen, you won't be affected a lot by it.
2087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 17, 2023, 05:09:55 PM
A big casino was once a small casino, it was not started as a big casino and many gamblers trust to this casino.
You're right, all of the biggest casinos these days came from being new and small. But all of them worked hard to reach the current position that they've got and they have the clear intention that they're all for the business and not to mess up with any potential customer.
That's why if they're able to reach to the top, the newer ones can also possibly reach the success that they are. However, the concern for the new casinos are about not being genuine to their service and business, the few other new casinos have that intention to effin up innocent gamblers that would just like to try them out.
2088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: April 17, 2023, 03:08:48 PM
Remember what DEX were on the market 4 years ago and look at what they have now. How many functions and features appear. There is already a DEX with leverage trading. I think soon we will see DEX where there will be liquidity for tens of billions.
Not just 4 years ago but more than that and it was also taken into notice about these dexes. I still remember some of them that became popular but then didn't contain the competition because it's tough. Most of the old Dexes were already forgotten but they were made and used more than 4 years ago contradicting what you've said that they were in existence since 4 years ago. Well, their growth is true. Many of them even if just made a couple of years ago, they've become popular and that's the roots of decentralization that are being completed and continued. But then talking about FTX, there have been news that they're on recovery and looking forward to their comeback but asking people in here about if they'll still use them, I doubt it that many will obliged.
2089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: April 17, 2023, 11:45:41 AM
Yes but altcoins are still profitable and as long as we choose potential altcoins they are better than meme coins,
it is important to do your own research and analysis before choosing an altcoin,
Of course there are many ways to minimize that risk.
Minimizing the risk through holding some altcoins while having Bitcoin. It's the best strategy to minimize the risk that you're taking. You're having a balanced setup because many people still don't know how to diversify their assets properly. Some think that it's okay to get whole of altcoins while ignoring bitcoin as their balancer for their portfolios. DYOR. Diversify. That's it but diversifying is being gloried by those people that don't even know what altcoins they should buy. The main thing here is you're okay taking risks and as you have that grit for altcoins, never ignore the power of Bitcoin as it has demonstrated already how it's the foundation of the crypto market.
2090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's NOT a good time to invest in BTC. on: April 17, 2023, 09:27:31 AM
I honestly think that it's the opposite that the higher inflation will come out, the impact on it bitcoin's price is going to be more positive. But then, there are several factors that can affect Bitcoin's price and we all differ in opinion with regard to that. IMHO, whether fed rates are high or not, the most important thing to be considered by someone who wants to invest in bitcoin is his readiness and willingness to start buying.
This isn't for everybody that just wants quick gains although it's possible through other options like going into spot or margin trading if it's about being optimistic about bitcoin and its future then, you should buy when you're ready and have got clear plans to stay for longer period of time.
It's not just all about the fed interest rates or what not but you see that the moment you're looking at right now is still a good entry before it soars again.
2091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What makes ARB price keep climbing despite occasional drops ? on: April 17, 2023, 03:36:15 AM
Since the listing of ARB last month, the price has been on the rise despite occasional drops. $0.5 was not a low start point but it went higher from then on. I read a lot of news about ARB before it was listed but the instant and endurable(at least for now) success is not usual compared to other altcoins.
Honestly, I was just waiting for its price to be like that and I'm waiting for it to be low as $0.5 and then that's where Imma load up my buying order. But then, it seems that it's holding strong to that point of $1.65 and it's staying there.

What is the secret to ARB's success ? Or simply, why its price keeps steadily climbing ? Please let me know.
There's no secret on it and I think the launching was a success but it's still far from the usual success a project that needs to reach.
A long marketing and stable development is what has gained the attention of the masses with its move so I think that contributes a lot.
2092  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 17, 2023, 02:14:09 AM
I think the worse place to work in, are loan companies.
No offense but they're just like normal people that are bringing food to their tables so, they're also people that just trying to survive just like us. They're also like corporate people that have normal lives so I don't think that they're the worse place to work.
What's worse are those people that are taking loans and don't pay them but instead think that to pay their first loan is to pay it with another debt. Maybe that's the sign that they have no intention of clearing their debts and once a person is in that situation, they're going to have a hard time going out of it and that's tested and proven by the people that I've known personally. It's better to quit borrowing and pay off a debt with another debt and don't take loans for nonsense things just like those material things that we just want to have and don't have the potential to make money. Avoid taking debts because it is a practice that can make someone be in deep of it.
2093  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 16, 2023, 11:52:39 PM
it's a good idea to enjoy life to the fullest - but we must also not admit the fact that we all have to die sooner or later.
One of my very good doctor friend couple died in a road accident. And I couldn't sleep for past few days. I have lost all the interest in life.
Don't lose your interest in life just because your good friend died. There's more to life and you can have sorrow temporarily but don't let that stop your interest in life. As we grow older, we want to keep things simple, when we're younger what we do is to have fun so we're all done with that but that doesn't mean old folks can't also have fun. We're all working with the best that we can so that we can have a good life and enjoy things that we wanna enjoy. But don't settle for less when we get older because the battle of life gets tougher, too many things are changing and we can't depend on the younger ones in our family as we get older. It's like enjoying the things that we've got now and then not to forget that we've got bigger things that we're preparing in the future.
2094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest in BTC? on: April 16, 2023, 11:24:40 PM
Hi I have been toying with the idea of investing in BTC but have waited due to some investors saying the price will drop to 12 - 16k again. do you think it could still drop to this or are we more likely to move on up to 40k?

thanks in advance.
Either.
No one really knows what it will be exactly for the next months to come. But decide for yourself if you're in this market for a long time then should you buy.
But if not then wait for some more satisfying buying price before you get in because it's also good to buy at that cheap price when you think they're cheap than in the past.
Just to give you an idea of where we're heading, many are positive that the halving will make the price of bitcoin better and higher and most likely that might come next year or by 2025. If you think that you're ok with that quite long of wait then buy. Or else, DCA is the key on your worry.

Congratulations to Rondae Hollis-Jefferson for winning the best import for this conference.

Game 5 is on Wednesday. It's now a best of 3 series. Will Ginebra get it again? Or the TNT will make it 2 in a row. Cheesy
Here goes of what everyone likes to see and that's a straightforward best of 7 series and that's why we're likely to see it max games for this series.
2096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving only 1 year away on: April 16, 2023, 10:31:14 PM
I've just realized what was said on the OP that the reward after this coming halving is really low. Keep your bitcoins everyone, it's going to be terrific and scarce after that and then how much more after the 2028 halving but then let's focus on what's coming.
Time has flown so quickly that after 2020, we're going ahead to the next one and it even made look easy and fast because of the world situation now, the pandemic. Not bad to secure profits as everyone should really be, maybe this is the moment of my life when I can purchase some miners from my gains soon.  Tongue
2097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 16, 2023, 07:58:27 PM
Trust is a huge thing in this industry. That's why those that have built it over time are the ones being trusted by most gamblers and with what's happening to the minor casinos, it's putting a scare to even small gamblers because we all do value our money, the money that we deposit and uses to gamble in the casinos that we like to place it in. If you like to gamble in minor casinos, that's okay as long as they're legitimate and you know that you'll have no problems with them. Many of them are in legit business but can't also blame gamblers that have been tired of dealing with them for being scams. The minor ones are the ones likely to scam gamblers and will reason out some delay in withdrawals and that's the actual scam that happens, that's why if we think that a minor platform is likely to be like that, we're going away from them. And in the end, it's going to be all about our preference.
2098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: April 16, 2023, 07:30:51 PM
I know that DCA is for bitcoin but I want to try the gambling but it seems that everyone is not in support of the move.
Then I think that you're willing to go with those altcoins that have billions of supplies because they're less than the price of $100 and you'll get to have them more.
As you've mentioned like you're gambling with that money that's the first thing that I've thought of. But there are other coins like Matic, ada, and dot that are in the range of what you're saying for their price. It may be a tough decision for you to make if that's the plan you have in your mind. But since it's your money and you know the risk and that there's a certain plan that you want to do, I just wish you all the best and hope that you may find that altcoin of your choice.
2099  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis a must know in crypto trading? on: April 16, 2023, 06:56:50 PM
In social media, you see a lot of that type of trader. They proclaim themselves as mentors to others but they don't really trade at all. They know the basics of trading and strategies with it but they don't actively trade and apply what they say.
It's because they're not profitable traders and just stayed to be like an influencer but don't really do trades at all and that's how they find the bread and butter for themselves because that seems to be an effective way for them to earn some money out of the market without doing actual trades.

You figured it out very right. Social media influencers over the time have become millionaire or billionaire by teaching there followers skills which they haven't practised. In my country there is a crypto influencer, there is no proof of what he has earned in crypto trading, but his crypto signalling group generates around 100k$ turn-over for him. To me using your own mind is best strategy as it train your mind for future trading.
It's because it's easy to create some enticing videos just showing off their so-called gains over time but will never show where they actually came from. This is the reason why many are misled by these influencers thinking that this market is too easy for anyone to make a profit even not having basic knowledge of crypto and trading. They're hyping the market without validating the resources they have and making it like an actual gain they make in trading, they might have some gains but they're not showing their losses which are more than what they're showing to their audiences. We're in the digital days where every content can be done online and can be sold depending on its niches like these fake signals and basic information that can be learned over time for free but these influencers making them look like they're the geniuses and not giving the real source of that information. As if they've learned it the hard time, showing a bunch of money bills and making emotional videos that will move the audiences as if they're the solution to their money problems and they've found it through crypto trading without reminding them that they can lose all of their money.
2100  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity and scale of preference on: April 16, 2023, 06:32:18 PM
Resources are scarce and that's why there have been conspiracies about reducing the world's population for the rest of the number will have enough resources for everybody.
The thought and process of our minds thinking that we've got enough resources because of our situation and if we're in a better one then that's good for us. It's because not everybody is having fortunate things in life and that can be seen that there's a scarcity of resources because even for basic needs and necessities, there goes a lack for those unfortunate people given the situation of their lives. But we don't go stop from there because it's a discussion that will get a lot of good points being the actuality of it and then the meaning of opposing thoughts about it proving that everyone has a valid point. On the early days, there have been explorations and expeditions made by those great travelers through the seas and I agree on HB that soon, we'll go travel and get resources outside the Earth and getting those materials and new discoveries through the other planets. It has all started several decades ago but it won't stop there and we're not even close to an inch of that discovery because the universe is vast.
