2121  Other / Off-topic / Re: Life lessons from Bill gates and how it could make you a successful entrepreneur on: November 17, 2022, 04:39:25 PM

CONCLUSION
Nothing good come easy. It involves great work with passion. Your decision on what to become in life can drive you towards achieving your dreams. It may take some time to rationally get from where you are to where you want to be but you will definitely be there one day. Just take make a move, start something, be focus and see how success will drive you towards your dream.

bill is one of my idols because of his ability to grow Microsoft to become a large company with a value of billions of dollars from nothing (although in the end he had to divorce his wife in old age.

Entrepreneurs who are now successful have consistency and also make the right decisions in their business journey, besides that they also mostly act decisively/hard on their subordinates (one of the things I like about successful entrepreneurs), many people say that "just make first move" but those who go through it without a strong foundation will only end in bankruptcy.

The important thing that everyone who wants to open their business today must have is network, consistency, mental toughness and management ability.

2124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want sell my house for bitcoin on: November 17, 2022, 03:51:58 PM
...

(I have 2 house, which I want sell it is abandoned house)

abandoned house? it would be better if you sell that and invest the money into bitcoin (if I were in your position, then I would immediately do it). Renting it out will only provide a small passive income, especially if the location of the house is not in a strategic area.
bitcoin will definitely be bullish in the future, so don't miss the opportunity that is available now, now the price of bitcoin is minus more than 60% of ATH, therefore the best moment to buy is now.
2125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad beginning for crypto beginners. on: November 16, 2022, 08:44:39 PM
...
Beginners with agenda to get rich:  these beginners are just so desperate to make money from crypto that will make them become rich, they have no idea about risks involve in cryptocurrency . Beginners with the mindset of becoming only understands crypto be an investment that has a big return as quick as possible.  Crypto investments is always interesting when it is long-term.

this type imo is the majority beginner. since crypto changed many people's lives, people think crypto is a quick way to get rich and they think this is an easy thing. Remember that crypto won't make you rich overnight.

Beginners starting the journey with wrong projects:  these beginners have no direction,  they feel all cryptocurrency is about making  profits not knowing investment in crypto it is important to consider reliability and safe it is. Beginners who don't know good projects to start with can easily fall into the trap of scammers in investing in the wrong project.

there are many factors that cause a beginner to do this, such as he is a shy person, a little introverted or won't feel trivial and investing in crypto is easy.

Beginners with mindset of taking crypto as job opportunity:  some beginners thinks crypto can cover up the space of getting  a job. It is wrong to plan of making cryptocurrency a source of income as a beginner.  It is important to have emergency fund while Investing in crypto.

Bad beginning never end up in good result ,rather  it ends in regret, waste of fund. The problem why some beginners starts investment in a wrong way is because they are too busy and think knowledge is time consuming.

if not accompanied by a strong foundation then beginners who enter crypto and make crypto as a side job will leave crypto quickly. great patience and also consistency is needed to survive in crypto.

management is a beautiful science, my mother always said that a wife must be a strong woman, and must master time management and finance well (this applies in my region, but maybe in each region is different). Successful people are those who are able to manage their time and money well so that every opportunity can be used and every mistake can be avoided.

So what would you would advise as a gambler? is it better to collect the cash out or wait for the full cash

It is a personal decision. In my case I prefer cash out. I am aware that luck is difficult to have, it is normal to lose and even more so if we think in the long term. When I have a strike of luck I prefer to cash out at that moment and I'll come back another day. I know people that after a jackpot continued playing and lost everything. I don't want that for me. I call it a day and withdraw the money.

true it is a personal decision but cashing out all funds (capital and winnings) is a non-wise decision, you will definitely come back with a large deposit and it would be wiser if you only left your capital as it was at the beginning when you made a deposit and you cashed out the rest (your victory money).

2133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges or platforms with too good offers. Be careful on: November 15, 2022, 05:55:35 AM
just like you, I am attracted to using FTX because they cover part of the fees for erc20 transactions and it really helps me. Moreover, they also have very low btc withdrawal fees.
The perceived benefits and convenience are outweighed by the risks of using a CEX, and it doesn't have to be a bad experience that would make you realize that you shouldn't keep your funds on a centralized exchange, it's a common advice here and on some other crypto platforms.

Do research for some DEXes or P2P platforms which can serve as a medium of exchange without the risk of losing your privacy or your funds.

Previously, I used bisq several times, but because I was tempted by the low FTX fee, I moved there. I should have realized that it is not good to keep funds in CEX for too long, they use the liquidized users' money there for their other business development. this issue makes theymos provide a very good announcement, this is a valuable lesson for all of us.

Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts

but FTX's collapse make me can not withdrawing my assets to this day, I also can't open FTX on my iPhone. I thank to this bad experience, it taught me not to keep assets in a CEX for long time.
Previously I also invested several times in defi tokens which offer tantalizing ROI, in fact, now that defi tokens are just shittoken, what an amazing experience.
2135  Other / Meta / Re: Why does an account get autobanned? on: November 14, 2022, 05:23:04 PM
I am new to bitcointalk forum. I don't know much about this forum. Meanwhile I am reading the rules of this forum. After that, while checking some posts, I saw a user who posts very well. His merit number is almost equal to activity. After that I noticed that his account was inactive for many days. After that I checked with bpip.org and found that his account was autobanned.
Check it out;
...

My question is, if you do something wrong with the account, the account will be auto banned.

Those who know about this must inform me.

the account was not automatically banned but was banned for receiving reports from trusted members on this forum for violations found on the account. usually it's because of plagiarism, you can see it in these 2 threads;

1] [Report] Ban Evasion [Requesting Admin/mod to check those and ban]

2] Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed

2137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 14, 2022, 09:34:17 AM
When we gamble we feel all the emotions, like when we feel excited when we are chasing our losses, feeling happy when we won a big amount, feeling depressed when we lose and we feel frustrated when what we expected to happen did not materialize, this is one of the reasons why we cannot stop gambling because we feel all the emotions.

Do you agree that we cannot stop gambling because it completed all our emotions and do you have other feelings when you gamble.

Gambling is very interesting because it is addictive, as you have said there are many feelings that arise when we gamble, whether it is feelings of happiness, anger, or focus. when we win there are a lot of happy feelings, are created and it's like creating a dopamine effect in the mind (and self-control is very important because it's addictive). When my busy life stresses me out, there are 3 things I do, it's playing the piano, watching Korean/Chinese dramas, or playing slots.
2138  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [GUIDE] Pertimbangkan Faktor ini Sebelum Bergabung Dengan Kampanye Berbayar BTC on: November 14, 2022, 08:02:46 AM

So what would you would advise as a gambler? is it better to collect the cash out or wait for the full cash

if I were you then I would cash out 70% of the winnings and put the rest as capital back for my next betting. The hard rule that you have to remember is never to be greedy in gambling, greed will get you screwed, and many gamblers actually lose big after winning big, it's all because they are greedy and too confident they will win more in the next round. hope you make the best decision!
