-ANNOUNCEMENT-With other pools having issues, now is the perfect time to try out our new failover setup! http://burst.ga provides full failover for any reason, there are 8 monitor IPs that will constantly check the status of the pool, when any sort of non-response is returned, it will switch automatically over to the redundant backup pool! This means our pool is NEVER DOWN!! Also, I'm doing another giveaway, until we get a sufficient number of people/power... This time, I'm doing a giveaway based on mining power!I will give you 1 burst per GB you have plotted! That means if you bring 50 TB to our pool, I will give you 50k! I'm not sure how much power I'm looking to get right now, but I have no problem with spending 100k+. What I need from you as proof, is a picture from your wallet showing your Numeric account ID, then screen shots of your plots, selected, showing size and your numeric account ID, then once your stats show on the pool, I will give you 50%. After your stats stay on the pool for 7 days, you will get the other 50%. I'm trying to get long-term miners here, not people who are just trying to take advantage of me giving away burst. Also, I will donate the pool account 50k burst to be paid out to everyone mining, when the pool hits 100 miners again. Thanks, and let's get our pool back into the top 3!! We have another idea for more assets too, and Hardinvest, our first asset will be paying out soon, and will also be available for purchase again very soon! So hit me up with those screen shots, and I'll hook you up with both a nice, redundant pool, and a bonus amount of burst! also, FYI, if you don't have a miner that automatically checks for IP address changes, I would suggest setting up a restart script for your miners, so that in the case of a pool failure, the auto-failover will activate, your miner will restart, and you'll be good without ever having to touch anything. I can help people setup Windows Restart batch files, but I can't help linux users. Not quite affluent enough with that yet. Thank you!

Gotta love Zeus and their upgrades! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I wonder if those are going to be as good as they say... Pretty sure this 1st gen Zeus gear was supposed to be something like 10-12w/MH before it was released, instead of the 32 it ended up being. Well, I'm hoping they at least come close to what they say, then my 8 furies will be 80mh, and my cyclone will be 140!

We have 3 batch 3 doing around 440 on avg They are numbered 127,128,129 The next batch was B7 which are also around 440 on avg They are numbered 124,125,126 All the above ants have been cleaned and redone on with high grade thermal pads on the chipside and paste on the large coolblock They all run nice and steady now, they keep perfect cool even though the ambient temps where pretty hot during last period And we have 3 times S1 case with upgrade sets to S3 which are not build yet I have no idea if they are better, since my hoster has no time to build them ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) They was delivered after batch 8 (S3+) was released but i expect bitmain not to send us the S3+ controller chipset One of the boards of the S1 upgrade sets is going to be send for RMA to bitmaintech I think its best done by someone who knows how todo this and has technical knowledge For now i got one offer for 4 x S3 being 2.2 btc These never been overclocked, the power supplies could not handle more load anyway. Take that offer and RUN~!

I'm fairly sure 1150 socket will work too, based on what I see, but do you know for sure? If so, I want one.

... 1. The miner doesn't automatically ping to check for IP changes, so until the devs implement that into the miner, I would suggest setting up some sort of restart script for your miners, so that they restart themselves every hour or so, that way the max amount of time down will be an hour, or less, however you set it up. You can PM me for a script. ...
I'm sorry, but the miner has already specifies the IP address to each connection to the server... https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/blob/master/miner.cpp#L1703 string #972 and #1703 so, you're saying that your miner DOES automatically check for IP changes? I have never used your miner myself.

Give BURST (HDD mining) a oportunity.
definitely need to give burst a look. It's got all of the features of NXT, and new ones including built in escrow and the capability for a decentralized eBay!Not to mention the mining style takes almost no power at all! GREEN MINING, decentralized marketplace, built in escrow, no ipo, no premine, overall an AWESOME coin! Definite give it a look! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=731923.0

--ANNOUNCEMENT--We have officially setup a failover for our pool! This means NO MORE DOWNTIME! The way it works is as follows... I have purchased a service that constantly monitors the pool IP address with 8 different addresses. It checks constantly for a reply to port 80. If for any reason the server doesn't reply, it will automatically failover to a backup server we have running with a clone of the pool. Now, there are still a few things to consider here... 2. This means that our pool will NEVER be down again! This is the first pool to have something like this, and we will continue to add more and more features and assets to benefit our miners! 3. If the main pool IP doesn't reply to checks, and it switches to the backup pool, we have to make a change in the pool config to allow for payouts. So just know, that if you don't see payouts when on the backup pool, don't worry. We will either make the change to the backup to allow for auto payments, or when the main pool comes back, the payments will start up again automatically. 4. ALL MINERS NEED TO CHANGE THE ADDRESS THE MINERS ARE POINTING TO! The new address for mining is http://burst.ga:8124 , this domain is the one we decided to setup the new failover service on, as opposed to messing with our current domain's DNS settings. So, if you point to burst.ga, this is the new auto-failover setup. If you decide not to change, then you will not be part of the auto failover. The pool will stay at the original address, it's just the new burst.ga address that will do the auto-failover.5. I am hoping to get quite a bit of cloud scrypt power here in a few days, and when I do, I will likely be using that power to setup a new asset. I will keep everyone updated on this. Our original asset is still there, and we still have extra power mining to the asset account, and on the pool. Thanks everyone, and happy mining! Also, just so that everyone knows. I am still doing my giveaway for pointing your miner to our pool. 1500 burst per new miner in stats on BURST.GA!!!I will also be doing another giveaway soon, stay tuned!! Oh, one more thing. I am going to be donating 50,000 burst to the pool account at a random point within the next day or two, this means that whoever is mining on the pool will get payout from this donation, as an AWESOME BONUS!!! We're trying to win back the love of our miners, and we feel that honesty, assistance, active owners, and a FAILOVER SETUP, is a GREAT WAY! Thank you all!

got a question about that LSI controller card I see in the pic, do you know if that supports over 4TB drives? I have one at home and I am planning on using it for BURST mining, but I don't know what it supports. sorry for the off topic post ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Want any hurricanes or fury's
I already pm'd you again about the furies.

Everyone needs to chill about the price. All we need is good PR and notoriety. The coin's tech speaks for itself. BURST isn't going anywhere. Chill out and help promote! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

So Quake, you gonna buy the furies? If not, I want them. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Do they have the heatsinks? If so, I'll give .1 and pay for shipping. No heatsinks, just boards. That's a tough sell, considering whole units were going for $25 last week. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Not trying to be negative. Though maybe if you are undervolting, they could get by with some fans? I'm not sure, I think undervolted they are stil going up to like 30 degrees with heatsink. I would say, no. I've decided to give them to Herb since he was the first to hit me up. No point in trying to sell them, even though I paid 50 for them, it is what it is.

What about a combination of numbers 1 and 4
The burst B from 4 with the surrounding accents from 1?

Out of curiosity about a claimed discrepancy between locally- and pool-calculated delays, I joined crowetic et al.'s pool. He paid me the 1600 burst he promised to newcomers, and it all seems to be running smoothly for the last 15 hours or so. Thanks, crowetic! My pleasure. Thank you for your support.
