2161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: predections for bitcoin in 2018? on: December 31, 2017, 05:46:28 AM
in fact nobody knows for sure at the beginning of the year bitcoin will go back up or even vice versa, which is sure everyone is optimistic that it will go back up and I am sure it will be the main capital to build.
It's easy to predict the bitcoin dominance gets eaten by the new crypto that pays a lot of attention from the market just like ripple or even cardano in the future. Because bitcoin only keep around 39 percent domination in the crypto space. it may go down again.
2162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is day-trading cryptocurrency profitable? - Need opinion from traders on: December 31, 2017, 05:44:13 AM
Hi,

I was considering learning how to day-trade so that I can profit from price fluctuations of Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash. I feel that I can make a lot more money than trading stocks or commodities because the fluctuations are so much greater.

Can someone who is an experience trader, who got their experience and made overall profit day-trading stocks and commodities and is now day-trading cryptocurrency, give me their opinion how profitable this is? How closely do candlestick patterns of cryptocurrency conform with known patters applicable to stocks and commodities? How much more profitable is it than trading stocks and commodities if its profitable at all?

Also, what is the best way to start? I was thinking about watching YouTube videos on candlestick patterns as a start and then start trading based on that.

I've been doing it mate but not all of my trading activities have become successful. If the bearish was coming and then i'm sure you will get a heart attack caused by you are getting a trap at the peak. the daily trade is really worth for those coins were having very high volume
2163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Falling Again on: December 31, 2017, 05:42:18 AM
No problem, this is just a correction End of the year. Prices will return to normal within the next few days. Hopefully this does not affect other Altcoin.
This is not' Please do your deep research about this one, Ripple surpassed ethereum which makes the bitcoin dominance got eaten by ripple too. that means demand is moving to the ripple. People thing bitcoin gonna die caused by its ridiculous fees. But this is just my analyzation
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IGNIS Airdrop, Is it worth it? on: December 29, 2017, 03:04:55 PM
Hello. Hindsight is always 20/20. i sold half of my nxt before airdrop and kept the other half for ignis. Lets see what the future brings. I try to minimize my risks

Cheers
Oh man, you've chosen the best option to minimize risk. This is my first airdrop experience and I put all my assets on NXT to get IGNIS, look how dumb I am. I'll hope that IGNIS can turnover my lose on NXT and give me a profit.
Any thoughts that IGNIS will dump more as well as NXT? Or IGNIS will pump after its release on the major exchanges?
Same as I feel who can guarantee the next coin hardfork of nxt, ignis will not be dumped?
I doubt this coin will be better than nxt, or even worse. but hopefully ignis at least can cover the losses we all who bought nxt before.
I want to ask, whether there will be airdrop again for nxt holder besides ignis? because I hear a lot more news there will be more airdrop next
You know that ignis just another fork coin and then does it make sense if you are saying that the ignis will better than nxt, i believe that even worse than nxt. Look at the chart how nxt grow from nothing.
It just likes the bitcoin with its fork coin. the price of fork coin should be lower than nxt. A lot of my friends lost a lot in nxt caused by ignis.
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bread BRD - Next coinbase? on: December 29, 2017, 03:00:30 PM
I think no...the next coin that can be added on coinbase will be from the top 10 for sure
I think this project is "similar" with Coinbase am i right ?
You are wrong mate. it looks not similar with the coinbase. I just try to say that worked on the future wallet for the bitcoin and another altcoin. It looks you are not reading the definition of the bread platform.

It's really different with coin base as the exchange site platform and crypto store.
2166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trace Vitalik Buterin's (or any address) trades on exchanges? on: December 29, 2017, 02:55:53 PM
Why would I want to know Vitalik's holdings? Jeez, isn't it obvious? If this guy is investing in something, I am too.
Thank you for the answers. I think the topic is clarified now.
You made my day, my friend. but it looks vitalik not publicly anything about that. The only important thing that I was knowing about the portfolio of the vitalik gains a lot of shares from the project that advised by vitalik just like kyber and omisego was obviously true. Not sure about the wetrust project.
2167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trace Vitalik Buterin's (or any address) trades on exchanges? on: December 28, 2017, 03:04:42 PM
Hi guys,
1.The addresses of the big guys like Vitalik, Roder and Satoshi are publicly known. Vitalik sent 30,000 ETH recently to an exchange. So we saw that. Can we also see what he bought there - another crypto or fiat or once he makes a trade all the traces are lost and we will have no idea where his money went?

2.Let's say he sells ETH and buys another ERC20 token. If he withdraws to a new ETH address, can we trace the transaction or no?
1 Where do you see it? But if the money goes to the exchange site and then it just like a mixer. because in the exchange site all of the funds will be mixed into a big amount. it will not traceable.
2 you can't because that means the ethereum move to another people and then it's still on the exchange site. Remember that's centralized exchange site and all of the funds mixed into a single form. And if he withdraws into the new address and then you can't do anything with it.
2168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bread BRD - Next coinbase? on: December 28, 2017, 01:18:10 PM
Yeah I would love to know the ICO price of it, I am not going to buy something that already went up x10 or x50 in value. I dont want people to dump on me. The project looks really good it's very interesting that they are already trading on binance
The ico prices were $0.078 but this time it's traded around $1.65 which still above the ico price but it's only around 2x and no more than 10x but the bread project just like a competitor to the free portfolio app like blockfolio. But remember blockfolio is free for everyone. Another competitor will come soon.
2169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: December 27, 2017, 04:24:25 PM
I think the crash is from B2X hardfork that scheduled on Dec.28 and this Made a blood bath on altcoin.

The fork itself is a scam, and if even is not is such strange they ask for private keys, there is a topic about this in the forum.

Actually fork doesn't effect alts directly. Most important thing for alt coins is bitcoin's strength, you can observe yourself that whenever bitcoin is falling, alt coins are also falling at the same time. some people expect bitcoin to get low against alt coins but this cannot happen logically.
The fork coin just bring another competitor to the bitcoin itself and only increase the list of altcoin. It's not disrupting the altcoin. When bitcoin was falling and altcoin will be following it but when bitcoin increase and altcoin just try to regain a half from the total bearish. Fork coin of bitcoin just another altcoin that generates from the bitcoin.
2170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my altcoin for btc for upcoming fork? on: December 27, 2017, 04:21:27 PM
I have an altcoin that im thinking about selling solely to get some of the forked coin segwit2.  From checking online, its around 600 dollars for it.  Are people doing this or not?  Thus selling their altcoin for btc just so they get more segwit2?

Im thinking what about this.  You sell it for btc and you get it.  Then after the fork, you immediately buy back the altcoin you had.

Thoughts on this?
But do you see the latest announcement that the segwit 2x will be applying to the bitcoin blockchain again? because i can't find anything that related to that news. But the only good fork coin, in my opinion, is only bitcoin god. Segwit2x has been cancelled. What about that? At least bitcoin forks give you some bucks.
2171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best new Altcoins you think it will be in the top soon ? on: December 27, 2017, 02:50:48 PM
What is the best new Altcoins you think it will be in the top soon ?
The altcoin that tries to develop the platform for the tokenization, as you can see there are so many new people and developers are interested to build its own project through ico and tokenization and blockchain infrastructure seems to be mandatory in this moment. They will probably choose the best platform.
2172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the best exchange with low fees? on: December 24, 2017, 12:58:20 PM
So many exchanges...Would love to know wich one is the best for trading.
Bittrex, not a good site right now, binance should become the best choice because if you are using the binance token and you will able to get 50% discount for the fees for your every trade in there. So many people are using it right now. Binance token just like utility token and that's really good imo.
2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Specrecoin worth buying? on: December 24, 2017, 12:56:41 PM
Keep hearing a lot of talk about it on these forums but most of it is way too detailed for the average poster so I imagine its someone from the company itself or another person that is heavily invested.  If its one of those guys with Spectre in their signature I pretty much disregard anything they say.

That being said... is this coin worth it?
This coin is really worth to be one of your investment because the developers are serious to develop the future anon coin. Spectre just another competitor for monero as the best privacy coin right now. Developers are not greedy and they are completely developing anything consistently.
2174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is bad advice on: December 24, 2017, 12:55:22 PM
buy low, sell high.
But the long-term holders don't care about that, this time the bearish trend make it looks pretty strange to hold rather than sell it but believe me that will be come back to the sky as soon as possible.
Buy as much as we can at the deep price and then we should become a winner.
2175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Portfolio Analysis on: December 23, 2017, 10:11:28 PM
Hello everyone!

New member here. I have been following crypto-currencies for years now (not super close, but aware of them). I had the opportunity to buy BTC at $100-400 and passed it up. I am not going to let them happen again! I have about $1k to invest in crypto. I want to diversify to an extent. I don't want 8+ currencies because it will be impossible to keep track of all the wallets and keys. I have done a little research and have come up with the following portfolio:
ETH 25%
XVG 25%
WAVES 25%
XLM 25%

I am open to changes and modifying the percentages. I currently own .5 ETH and 1.4 LTC that I will use to buy some of the other cryptos. Does that portfolio look pretty strong to you guys? Feel free to tear it apart! I would appreciate any input.

Thanks!
Rather than waves and it may better for you to move a half of the waves portfolio to the ripple or iota which gained a lot of attention from the investors especially for ripple and you can see the south Korean market reaction about the ripple. Waves is not strong as you said. It never the same as ripple and ripple has a better potential.
2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What a crazy few days on: December 23, 2017, 10:07:52 PM
I got into crypto last jan just before the 3 month bull run it was like printing money for a while, then came the crash!!!!

These last few days have been amazing to be involved in crypto, the highs/lows, swings and dips, its a total buzz

long may it last
Crypto just like a wild market. someone with no mentalism will be feeling stressed. I see so many people are feeling confused how to do that when the market gets big dump yesterday. Crypto just like a nature caused by the supply and demand. that's why crypto even better than the stock market.
2177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transfer BCH to coinbase missing... on: December 23, 2017, 10:05:25 PM
Hey everyone,
I was mining BCH in a pool and sent the payout to my coinbase.  It went, I can see it on the block chain... But it never showed up in my coinbase wallet.  I triple checked the wallet address and it's definitely correct. I contacted support and got a robot response that didn't help.  I know they were unprepared and overwhelmed when they finally released our BCH, but has anyone else had a similar issue the past few days?  If so how did coinbase respond.
Just make a support ticket. My friend makes a transaction to the coinbase worth 1.55 btc and then his balance was disappeared. It nevery shows up but the ridiculous thing that my friends pays some bch to speedup the transaction but it still never shows in the coinbase wallet. But it may take some days to get any response.
2178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to buy now? top coins lost almost about 50% of their ATH on: December 22, 2017, 04:10:36 PM
hi, i am a noob. wanted to buy but high prices scared me. now it's down and it scares me too. do you think we expect a comeback soon or even bigger drop?
Just buy it, you will never get anything if you are still feeling scared about what already happened in the crypto. Just invest some amounts that you afford to lose. it may become a better option for you. Or you can try to put a little amount and you will be seeing it give you a profit later.
2179  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is getting low on: December 22, 2017, 04:05:58 PM
It is not that low. i mean this is obvious the christmas is coming many people are buying somethings that they want this christmas they are withdrawing some of their bitcoins. for sure the bitcoin price will decrease but once people get back to normal again this will be gonna great.
majority of token holders are tanking their portfolio to the market and then they will buy it again later. But there is a lot of people are feeling panic caused by this big bearish trend in the crypto.
How newcomers make the situation to be more difficult. They are also dumping it to follow the trend.
2180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you send ether with zero gasprice? on: December 21, 2017, 10:26:44 PM
According to https://ethgasstation.info/predictionTable.php the 99% Confidence Confirm Time is the same for 0 Gwei and 0.1 Gwei gas price. Can you send your transaction with a zero gas price or will you get an error?
It will never be delivered to the receiver's wallet address. The gas price to attract the miner mining your block and then that makes your transaction will get verified ot validated by the network. If you are not putting anything and your transaction will be stuck on the network mate.
