2161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your lost from FTX collapse on: November 15, 2022, 10:14:14 PM
Due to huge crypto exchange FTX brankcupcy . what is your lost amount?
Perhaps we all are casualties in this whole FTX issues. Everyone can feel the ripple effect. The entire market can testify to that. We've seen how even Bitcoin and the rest have reacted negatively with dips. Again, those who also have funds in exchanges that heavily depend on FTX for their transactions will also be dealt another blow in days to come. My advice is that those who are should quickly move their funds to a safe place immediately. Since FTX is bankrupted, it's likely those dependent exchanges on it will declare bankruptcy and then hastily disable withdrawals. This is really a trying moment for the crypto industry.
2162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: November 15, 2022, 09:46:00 PM
Greed is human nature. It's in every man and  can either be displayed conceitedly or consciously. Those who control their level of greed do so with a conscious effort so as not to hurt others. It's the same way the need to do good spurs godly people that the urge to do evil moves the ungodly. Most people (virtually all) are In cryptos for the Benjamins. It doesn't matter if they openly admit it or not. That's what the mindset is about. Crypto Devs have come to realize that since the nature of cryptos is often online and could be created from thin air, there aren't likely to be office addresses or contacts anyone could trace them to in case they misfire. So, invariably they think they can mess up with investors funds and get away with that. That's what fuels their greed.
2163  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking for regular/semi regular Bitcoin sellers on: November 15, 2022, 09:14:52 PM
I recommend anyone dealing with this user should be very mindful otherwise they should get a reputable escrow provider from btt here if they both dealer are from here to more safer.
Mindful or not, it's a standard procedure to get an escrow involved while transacting with anyone online. Don't do blind trust even if the user is a legendary ranked fellow. Always play safe, except where the said user is someone you're used to outside this forum or who has proven track record here. Don't just trust, verify first.
2164  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: November 15, 2022, 06:58:54 PM
I think it's wise to invest smartly against 2024, there is high tendency of hitting it big in crypto from next year to 2024.
There's no gainsaying that it won't be big then. 2024 is Bitcoin's halving year and history has shown that every halving year is a progressive one for Bitcoin, and by extension the entire crypto industry. 2016 and. 2020 made Bitcoin soar in price and as such I don't see that of 2024 being any different. Yes, it's good to get set now ahead of time for investment opportunities that will abound in 2024.
2165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are alternative no kyc exchanges since FTX is gone... on: November 15, 2022, 07:26:52 AM
Since FTX is gone. And Binance/Bitmex are all KYC. Any decent exchanges which are KYC free ?

I heard good stuff about Bybit. Says no kyc for <2BTC withdraws.

What does everyone use?
Let me start with your last question – I use Binance. It's my major exchange. Then back to your first question – I won't trust any exchange that says it doesn't make KYC compulsory at a time like this when we know how SEC has been breathing down on their necks to move towards knowing their customers as a way of discouraging money laundering. Recall that when Binance started in 2017, it was free registration without a KYC until recently when it started restricting accounts without KYCs from not just withdrawing but from trading at all. In fact, Binance started with trading without commission charged on trades. That was exceptional then. It got many traders running to that exchange. Today, there are numerous charges that one can't even tell what and what the charges are for.

i dont use my own Brain
😆 That's the thing with the internet. We mustn't talk for the sake of talking when we don't mean it. Our words have a way of harmfully locating us after we've harmlessly made them.

Well, on the part of OP's suggestion. Yes, one mustn't always be in the market to be profitable. One or two winning trades weekly are more than enough to keep one going as profitable as it can be. Just pick your trades and choose entries for maximum profits.

Can someone teach me where have High Return Invest Program
You're simply setting yourself up to be scammed. There's no HYIP without its attendant consequences and eventually it ends in Ponzi. You shouldn't believe anyone who promises you a shortcut to riches for there's nothing of that nature in reality. Any investment that promises to make you a certain percentage on Return on Investment (ROI) is an obvious Ponzi because in business it's the forces of demand and supply that determine the ROI and not a single individual. Steer clear of Ponzi. You will end up hurting yourself.
2168  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] Should there be a 🍀 BTC AIRDROP 🍀 to Bitcointalk Merit Sources on: November 14, 2022, 07:43:29 PM
What do you guys think ?
I think the request you're making is a needless one. Merit sources (MS) should ordinarily find fulfilment in what they voluntarily do. You don't know what it feels like having the ability to bestow merit on posts you come across and think they're merit worthy. I feel bad whenever I'm not able to award merit on posts I think deserve it. So, to some extent, I think MS are already in a good place and their jobs aren't even that cumbersome when compared to those who fight spam or link accounts to one another as a way of sanitising the whole process.
2169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would the world be if Bitcoin wasn't created on: November 14, 2022, 06:16:52 PM
But have you ever thought how could be the world without bitcoin ..

Frankly speaking, and responding to the topic, there wouldn't have been anything wrong still. Man would be carrying out his functions like it's normal. You can't miss what you do not know exists. Without the advent of Bitcoin, life would still carry on. Before Bitcoin, there was life and after it, there will still be life.

~snipped~
Unless it's a mandatory to make a post of signed message or staked address on that thread to every newbie and up accounts.
There's no doubt that there are veteran accounts who don't have a staked address yet here. I don't want to believe it's because they don't know how to sign a message from a wallet. I want to believe it's negligence on their part and it's because they think it's not necessary. Again, I don't think there's anything here that's being made compulsory for any member. You can decide to do something or stay away from it. This forum is as decentralised as it can be. Members are allowed to do what they think is best for them provided their actions don't negate the rules and regulations of this forum. Making staking of wallet addresses compulsory most likely will send out a negative signal and suspicion.

Top 10 Posters
2022

Non2 of the top 10 posters from 2012 are here in 2022, I wonder if they got rich and left bitcointalk or may be dead?
Honestly, Lauda was an enigma (and dramatic if I must add 🙄 though). The user's account was self destroyed in 2020, yet till date it has more posts than most active members here. Somehow, I still miss them not being present here, on that account.
2173  Other / Meta / Re: Account hacked on: November 14, 2022, 02:03:28 PM
In my opinion, that thread should be one thread every member who has crossed the newbie status should take seriously. People shouldn't wait until their account is hacked before they do the needful of simply staking their BTC address there. OP should find a way to sign a message from either of the two accounts user rat03gopoh linked their hacked account and that should be able to solve his hack issue.
2174  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BREAKING: AAX EXCHANGE HALTS WITHDRAWALS on: November 14, 2022, 12:45:34 PM
If it is exposed to FTX, then this may be the reason, otherwise it may be a "exit scam" taking advantage of the panic in the market.
That was what I thought too. I hope that AAX (take note of the X too 🤔) isn't affiliated to SBF's business. This whole Luna and FTX crashes have made the market vulnerable at this time. A November that I've speculated to rally up is now digging for the southern pole. It's even looking safer to short Bitcoin than to long it now.
2175  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX has been hacked, delete the app, don't go to website on: November 14, 2022, 12:17:11 PM
I've the FTX tracking app I use to keep my portfolio in check. I hope the alleged malware doesn't affect it, anyway.
I wouldn't risk it. Uninstall the app and scan your phone for malware. In all likelihood it's not going to be functional going forward anyway.
It's a shame to really let "once" a good app like that go. I checked mine as soon as I made that post to see what's gwan with the app. It didn't load and I let it be. Now that I read your post I had to force myself to reality and then delete it. As for the allegation of FTX assessing customers funds linked with their bank accounts, that will really be the height of criminality.

Hello, is there a way for us who are immobile (disabled in legs)
You meant physically challenged? I think that's the universal word for those who are impared  bodily in one way or the other.

to earn 5-10$ a day, with some kind of bitcoin strategy without big investments.
I guess you're asking for ways to earn passively. Staking or farming offers that. However, there are risks too associated with either staking or farming. Otherwise, there isn't any trading strategy that can guarantee you that range on daily basis.

If anyone knows, write in the inbox.
Wrong move! You've just indirectly invited scammers in the form of sales reps to yourself. They're going to PM you to invest in whatever pseudo programmes they've just to scam you. You've to be extremely careful here.
2177  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here is my take on FTX case on: November 13, 2022, 02:07:12 PM
We are not living in 90s in Western World nobody don't lose money like that big it's just not beneficial for anyone not even for FTX team i would never think their attentions was just to scam people becouse If you can do ta that kind of thing like FTX project then your mentality and Morals are way more higher then scammers have so i don't even bring this idea here that FTX are scam, definately those guys like SAM not bad guys.
You're trying to give Sam and his men benefit of the doubt, so they can sincerely explain their involvement in the ongoing crisis speedily. Going forward on that perspective you gave, I also believe that most projects that end up as scam may not genuinely have been set up to scam people but for the unfortunate incidence that most of them end up not achieving what's on the blueprint and thereafter abandon it.
2178  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX has been hacked, delete the app, don't go to website on: November 13, 2022, 01:31:21 PM
According to some people in social media, FTX has been hacked and users who have the app installed in their phones might be at risk for malware if they update this. It will be safer to delete it. It is also adviced to avoid going to the site because there might be trojans.
I've the FTX tracking app I use to keep my portfolio in check. I hope the alleged malware doesn't affect it, anyway. In all honesty, I was sympathetic to SBF when the news first broke that his exchange was having financial crisis but with what's emanating now I'm beginning to think that dude is a criminal. If truly there's a hack, he's more likely the arrowhead. To even think he was reported to have used investors funds for stocks which crashed and led to his exposure, and now this hack. Dude is not clean whichever way we want to look at it.
2179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius, Terra, FTX Crash All Are Prove That Bitcoin Is The Only Trusted Crypto on: November 13, 2022, 05:51:42 AM
Celsius, FTX, Terra etc have all seemed like scam coins and scammy institutions all along.
How come we didn't hear cries about them being scams before their crashes? People are quick to say, "I told you when things get fucked up" even when they didn't know a thing about the situation and quick to claim sagacity when it goes down well.

Don't hold coins on exchanges
If we're going to be factual on that, I will tell you that advice will only suit investors not traders.

don't fall for the dodgy get-rick-quick pump and dump coins.
But of course, that's the honest truth. However, most people have that mindset that it's their main reason of being in this game. They want it quick and short, forgetting that there's no shortcut to success.
2180  Other / Meta / Re: Want to Know on: November 12, 2022, 07:20:42 PM
Remember when a lot of Bitcoiners/cryptopeeps on Twitter were using profile pictures with laser eyes?
😆 Yeah, I remember that era. How that fizzled out quietly too like other trends before it. This too will sooner than later become "old school". Whoever thought ICO or IEO will be a thing that doesn't entice investors anymore? Sadly, that's what's happening now.

And that's what you call putting a hat on a hat.
That cap is nice looking (on soft copy). I won't mind wearing one of such with a nice t-shirt and a pair of jeans to match offline. Hoping that it looks as good as it's looking here on real cap.
