1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin, Islamiccoin. 1m+ followers on twitter on: June 05, 2023, 02:39:18 AM
Any coin that bases on religion sentiment should be suspected.
Bless you, bro. I wish I had merit to splash on this comment of yours. Once there's a mention regarding religiosity in any project's blueprint, that's a no-no for me. This investment principle of mine was what saved me from getting fleeced by the scam called Zugacoin when it debuted.

Quote
The coin having the name of Islam will tend to attract Islamic investors to it and there is a large population of Islam's in the world.
Isn't cryptocurrency haram to Muslims anymore? I used to read the back and forth debates on why Muslims shouldn't invest in cryptos back then when I came into this industry that it was akin to gambling.
1322  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: P2P Scams : Where does the government stand on: June 04, 2023, 07:06:22 PM
~snipped~
People who trade on Binance do so because of the trade volume there. No one wants to be delayed getting their order filled. That level of traffic also attracts scammers. That's the reality. However, there's something everyone can do to reduce the level of scam attempts they encounter. My method of sieving through the murky water of scam has always helped me and that's simply never to be in a rush. Once it comes to financial transactions, I take my time to attend to it. I'm never in a hurry. That haste is where the mistake comes in. Scammers know that and they utilize it on their victims. Once someone is trying to hurry you up in a transaction, don't fall for it. Again, don't take the bait of high buying offer or low selling offer. If it's too good to be true, then it's a scam lurking. Another is to check the number of deals executed by traders before you patronize them. Read the feedback on traders also, that's very important.
1323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your favorite season to trade cryptocurrency? on: June 04, 2023, 05:20:01 PM
Most professional traders prefer the bear season, which, in my opinion, is the best period to conduct critical study on crypto projects, uncover ethical road maps, and invest in them for a possible solid future. The bull season is most likely harvest time; we reap what we sow in the market. Which season is better for trading, the bull or the bear?
Two things for me during the bear season, and from what you've described it could be that people buy during bear season so they can sell during bull which you called "harvest time". The scene you painted there should be more appropriately described as accumulating period to hodl or if anyone actually trades at such a time it would be on Futures and margin trade, not the regular spot trading. People hardly make money trading spot during bear season because price is on dip. How do you buy high and sell low? Nobody does that and maintains profit. Basically, you get to find hodlers than traders during bear season, except they're trading futures or so.
1324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A opinion on regrets on: June 04, 2023, 03:57:24 PM
We regret about missing Bitcoin, then about XRP then about Ethereum then Doge then Shiba then Pepe (these are some top of my head and from what I've come across in my crypto term).
I bet you there must be many who still feel good they missed out on those coins, except if what members say here is with hypocrisy. I said that because I know I've read so many posts where forum members said those coins (except Bitcoin) were shitcoins and weren't worth investing on. For me, I regret selling my BNB too early @$3+ and then selling my 10,000 Doge around 5cent, only for it to hit ATH at 70cent+ in less than two weeks after I sold off.

Quote
Point being there are always new opportunities and dwelling on regrets is futile.
We're humans, with real blood flowing in our veins and subject to emotions. Regret is a part of life, no one can help it, no matter how hard we try.
1325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Satoshi is a saint on: June 04, 2023, 02:18:44 PM
But literally speaking Satoshi nakamoto is a "saint " who literally forged the future transaction method and just disappeared
Did you mean, "God Sent" or "Saint" as it seemed you went spiritual on Satoshi there.

~snipped~
If he was in the religious palace, it is possible that the church would have performed canonization to make him a saint Grin.
True, but like you rightly pointed out the disappearance and anonymity of Satoshi; one could only conclude he didn't have the pleasure for titles. Satoshi just loved it quiet, no bragging.

Not mincing words, I think Satoshi (whoever they're) deserves our respect. His creation of Bitcoin has given lots of people hope and sources of living. We can't imagine the number of families that depend on Bitcoin and its affiliate businesses for survival now. I bet it's a huge number. Satoshi is, indeed, a legend!

Not just dip..but dca the dip with % i'll teach from where to see market prices btc eth gold oil as big guys are into commodities trading so do i.
If the whole point of you thinking you've arrived by mastering the point of trading is based on a DCA success you've recorded, and now you're thumping your chest that you can provide mentorship, then I think you've missed the point. DCA is purely speculative and whatever success you think you've recorded now won't be far from the way the market is trying to ride north whenever it dips. Wait, until there's a bear run and then come back to tell us how you profit from DCA. Again, you can't ask people to follow you when you haven't shown receipts to back up your success story. Kindly show links of screenshots of your success, a higher ranked member will quote it for visibility. Until then, I don't think anyone wants to believe you.

Proverb: Na person wey like you go tell you say your mouth dey smell.
Thank you for dat proverb. Dis days sef, na to hand d persin tomtom or menthol. No too much talk sef again. I hope sey people wey dey back seat for hall dey hear am, ba or make I increase d amplifier for una?

On a serious note, a lot of people this day nor dey like correction no matter how subtle or soft you deliver am to dem. Everybody dey form "I've arrived, you can't talk to me that way." E worse pass for dis social media space.
1328  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria and the new government on: June 02, 2023, 01:49:57 PM

even if you live in denial for the next 4 years, e no go change anything...
By inference, no wan is living in denial. My point is dis, as you talk about supporting him; how do you do it? By saying his excellency to his name or referring to him as "our president" "my president", knowing sey na stolen mandate? I get ur point small but you nor supposed give up easily and begin show pessimism. My people sey wen dem carry anoda persin corpse wey nor dey related to us pass, e dey by like sey na firewood dem carry pass. We supposed still dey in solidarity wit the people's will. Again, make you also reason am sey Tinubu fit knack ban on crypto transactions oh. Na their way. Those old men nor get joy at all.
1329  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria and the new government on: June 02, 2023, 11:57:41 AM
I no support Tinubu, neither did i want him to win, but as e be so election don finish, so i just have to support the new president and the new government, wishing them evil no go help me, so i have to wish this new administration success and to pray for them to make Nigeria proud.

Whether we vote for the new government or not no matter now wey dem don swear them in. The only thing to do now na to join hand with dem in our own small ways to make the country better, by being law abiding and to do our work diligently.
My brodas, shey una sabi sey na dis type of belief make us dey like dis for dis naija so? You see a man wey rob you of your votes and right to vote you still sey you nor get any orda choice than to support am? What happens to rejecting him? I don even begin hear people wey condemned Tinubu before begin talk now sey maybe na d will of God for im to be there as president. All dis wan na wash because nothing concern God and politics. I follow ordas too reject Tinubu and this wicked government. I want a country where things will work.

We dy pray make we land well oh, this government is like e get small areas wey dy shake for their body so.
😂 You funny die oh. You dey ask question sey e b like small area dey shake for their bodi like sey you nor know sey Tinubu im sef dey shake. Abi you nor watch the inauguration on May 29?
1330  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria and the new government on: June 01, 2023, 06:06:47 PM
Make we still dey pray say make God still dey take control because e never end. The end go justify the means.
By now we supposed don realize sey God nor dey interested in politics. Countries wey things dey work well nor be religious countries dem sef, you fit check dem out. Na citizens dem dey take the bull by the horns. They don't call on God to do it for dem. Make I even play you d reality. Wit years of experience, I don com realize there are two areas in man's life wey God nor dey like put mouth – Politics and Wife selection. God only comes into marriage wen you don already settle down, carry d woman enta house in d right way.

~
Apart from our government, e be like we dey do ourselves wicked well well.
My guy, na hat-trick you score at once wit dis comment. Make I nor too talk put there. BTW, double congrats, my guy! E good as you don com join us for up. Wen you go host us wit taati butas of fuwel oh 🤔

Our new president should not have been quick to announce subsidy removal like that
Una sure sey Tinubu even know wen im take talk dat thin. Shebi dem dey teleprompt am on wetin to talk.
1331  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Emdee tiamiyu is a wrong Nigerian representative on: June 01, 2023, 04:41:57 AM
My brother I fit assure you say the interview cause 99% of wetin make UK government take that decision because them for no really get something to hold hand if them wam do something like this but na the guy just spoil the same road wey em take pass go wia em dey now.
Wetin d guy do nor dey good. As a married persin wit children, nor be everything dem dey discuss wen children dey around. We all sabi sey dat method na to japa but na pattern everybodi dey use do am. However, I nor blame d guy for d ban and restriction wey UK knack Nigerians for study. The hypocrites wey be UK don already decide to restrict people as dem see sey unexpectedly people took up their offer during dat COVID-19 wey chop their people wella and population explosion come begin happen to dem. Wetin Emdee talk nor worse than wetin Abike talk na sey Nigerians dey go abroad to do drugs and cultism na.

Quote
You know say that interview no only affect people wey wam go UK go study even for Rivers State now our governor wey be Wike dey plan to pass one law now say person wey do any medical related course no fit travel go outside the country until the person don stay at least five years for naija here hustle?
I hope he's still drinking his 40years old whiskey and getting high on it. Shameless man. They will send their children abroad but dey put yeye laws for d masses.
1332  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria and the new government on: May 31, 2023, 06:41:48 PM
All I can sey is dat we're in for a disastrous ride. My people talk sey na d smell (odour) of mess dem dey take know the taste of shit. We don see how e dey go now wit just one day in office. Baba Blue–laba don begin show us renewed shege.
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising altcoins? on: May 30, 2023, 07:48:29 PM
I would agree for BNB and ETH but not XRP.
Honestly, too with me. I don't know why OP included XRP (Nee Ripple). XRP is not a good choice in my books. It was among the first coins I knew in this industry and I've seen a lot of controversies around it. At one time it did $3+ as its best before relapsing to its present level. A coin with just 100 billion max supply and less than 12 million not in supply, one would expect that its price would be better than it's at the moment. In 2017/18, it was often in the news for good reasons that investors sought it but along the line stuff got messed up with SEC issues and all that. Perhaps that's what's weighing down on it till date. It hasn't enjoyed the best of runs like ETH or even LTC.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting patiently for the next bull run... on: May 30, 2023, 06:37:52 PM
OP should know that they're just counting on luck with memecoins. Shiba Inu and a few others may have survived the time and done well but it will be very risky banking on fresh memecoins this day. Remember to invest only what you can afford to lose without relapsing into depression if the worse happens. Don't count and hope on bull run to buy any alts you find. Some of them may never get to experience it even when Bitcoin rallies to pull alts up. From my observation, alts go on bull run almost immediately Bitcoin bull ends. However, there's no guarantee that all alts feel that impact whenever it happens.

For the peace of your heart, invest wisely.

1336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and trading in crypto: can make you or mar you. on: May 30, 2023, 11:51:05 AM

Your graph tells the whole story of the rise and fall in the Bitcoin cycle. The movements as shown on contours is explicit enough for all. However, it's a problem knowing the exact entry and exit points. It's easier to point them out only on hindsight. If not, no one would ever record losses of any form.

I think this isn't exclusive in crypto...
Yes, it's not exclusive to cryptos. That cuts across all trade types of business and anyone going into online trading should hold that close to their chest. There are moments of loss and of profit too. BTW, we should know that fundamentals/news are driving forces for price movements.
1337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im trader i only short check out my work on: May 30, 2023, 11:11:13 AM
Im mostly short trader but Im working on to find best stradegy for long trading aswell but for now i'll use just shorts until i find good way to TA analyse long positions.
It's needless fixing what isn't broken. Like they say in sports, don't change a winning team. There's nothing bad in maintaining one bias in trading. After all, they say bulls and bears make money; only hogs get slaughtered. It's the same thing with traders who trade just a pair. Once one is making money from whatever trading strategy they've, it's good to maintain it. I think you should stick to shorts if you've been profitable trading that way. It's better than dabbling into longs and begin to lose your capital.
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: journey to financial freedom on: May 30, 2023, 10:02:18 AM
A regular person who has no funds to invest will just have to keep DCAing until you get that rare 1BTC.
Nah, that's not how DCA works. You must've funds to invest, whether with DCA or outright buy. No one can invest in capital based projects without funds. You need money to invest. The only thing the DCA technique does is allowing investors an opportunity to buy their favourable tokens in bits as they dip instead of buying at once and then watch in regret as they continue to dip in price.
1339  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ✅ [ANN] Bettercallraul.it No KYC Crypto Exchange | LOW FEES & Private | CLI ✅ on: May 30, 2023, 08:11:05 AM
I saw that after Agbe posted that, I was thinking "Oh oh Agbe may have used the wrong words" so I waited for him to correct it and let it pass but others caught him, this is a lesson for Agbe to check or review his post but I doubt one will discredit a platform that pays him every week since he apologizes we could move on.
I believe too it was a slip that happened and ended generalizing the whole lot. He wasn't lucky to have spotted it on time for correction. There's no way one will conscientiously advertise a service one doesn't have confidence in without getting pricked. I once spotted a user on a campaign thread who said something was terrible instead of terrific (as they wanted to say it was a nice experience), and that changed the whole dynamics of the semantics of their sentence construction. Agbe should've immediately edited that part once his error was spotted and all raised eyebrows would've been regularized.

First I'll need to have a shave, and see if I can iron out a few wrinkles. Smiley
This will be interesting, provided it's a reel that's sparked up with short interesting vids. I like watching vids on van and caravan living. It's captivating for me. It will be more captivating if those involved now spice it up with Bitcoin related stuff. Though it's going to raise certain questions, expectedly. However, the concern here; I should expect would be privacy. We will finally get to discover the face behind the Jet Cash name. Aren't you worried about exposing your real self?
