2181  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hhampuz embezzling signature campaign funds from BestMixer on: June 14, 2019, 11:40:25 AM
I do have txids

Where is the txid from Hhampuz to Darkstar, linking the ChipMixer outputs to Darkstar's address?
Not necessary jackass. It is trivial to move coins from ChipMixer to another mixer, and this can be repeated multiple times.

I have proven both that Hhampuz has stolen money from BestMixer, and that he had a loan outstanding in roughly the amount he stole as of this time.

So, basically what you're trying to say is that, Hhampuz took a loan from DarkStar_ (I know about that as I can see his post history) at the time when Bestmixer was going to shut all their operations? And you think he knew that before and did everything intentionally?

Well, as you said you've got txid, why are you crossing your own words (by putting those IDs in suspense) and saying that he purchased Chips from Chipmixer which ended (specifically, landed) to DarkStar's address/es? You should really come up with great evidence to prove him guilty, else you're again trying to harm "just another guy's" reputation here.

Even more assumptions.

Moving funds =/= spending. You can't conclude anything about his income or spending pattern by looking at 1 address. You're just pissing in the wind here (as usual).

True, people here can easily use more than 10s of 100s of addresses every single day, so it's not really easy for anyone to "assume" about anybody's spends and earnings here.

How wicked is it QS when you first claim things like you know everything and then speak about assumptions. Assumptions are not gonna work but proofs, to let you make us believe that what you're saying is actually true. I've not personal grudges with you whatsoever, but I guess we need some more drama here eh!  Wink
2182  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller vs cleaning up the forum on: June 14, 2019, 11:10:47 AM

I will not be following any broken formats. He can either fix it or blacklist me because I flagged a known scammer if he wants create damage the common good. Up to him. Last change made DT less relevant, this change makes it next to completely irrelevant. I don't care about nor support liberalist bullshit.
I am sorry, you just don't know it yet. It's too early to call it broken format.
There, you can have your shit format by using this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153480. The system is a joke, yet the right people remain excluded (that's something).

Well, sorry for putting my nose in between.
Who are those ^right people^ you're talking about?
System had already been a joke since implemented, it was for the trade purposes and people started giving wrong (false) ratings to people for spamming and everything as I don't really count spamming to do anything with trust ratings but an accusation thread could serve much better for those purposes (my point of view, honestly kitty).  Grin
2183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Struggling to recover wallet, are my coins gone? on: June 14, 2019, 05:22:59 AM
2) If your wallet file doesn't work on the newest version of Electrum (for some reason), you can try creating a watch-only version of your wallet, building a transaction, sending it to the old version Electrum for signining and broadcast it manually. That's an harder solution, so try out the first one and if it doesn't work, we can try this one.

Simpler solution would be Export all private keys from old Electrum version and import it to new Electrum version.
Just make sure the computer/notebook is secure and clean from malware/spyware.

Not just the system needs to be free from malware/spyware while importing keys into new Electrum wallet, the wallet itself needs to be downloaded from the main source here:
Code:
https://electrum.org/#home

And you must be aware of this fact mentioned there:

"Warning: Electrum versions older than 3.3 can no longer connect to public servers, and must be upgraded. This is in order to prevent user exposure to phishing messages. Do not download Electrum from any another source than electrum.org."
2184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Bitcoin Mixer? on: June 08, 2019, 09:18:11 AM
Edit: I've merited the OP for staring this thread. I must admit that I was put off at first by those bounty joining posts, but I have hopes that the OP will not default to just bounty hunting.
Thank you for the motivation for writing some more new topics. I joined some airdrop but it now is looking like wasting my precious time. I will try to contribute to the forum rather than hanging with bounty only.
Well, this thread is sort informative. I never did learn it before and was thinking what was really chipmixer all about since there are quite few legendary users wearing chipmixer signature. Usually those who wear chipmixer signature does have reputable profile as a user so it will easily gets attention to all users especially newbie's that are wishing someday that could wear signature.

Were you interested more in knowing about what is a Bitcoin mixer all about or just wanted to show your desire to join the campaign and wearing the Chipmixer signature? Anyways, there had been lately 2 Bitcoin mixers which shut down their services due to some legislation issues, but this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5117328.0 , my God this showed me that the reputation we need to hold to be one of the Chipmixer members is actually worth it because Chipmixer was (and is) the only Bitcoin mixer which didn't get traced by that guy and I don't see Chipmixer leaving this business anytime soon as their services are very unique compared to most of Bitcoin mixers still in market.
2185  Economy / Services / Re: Stedsm's Avatar and Personal Text for rent! on: June 08, 2019, 06:22:10 AM
Okay, I'd like to add something here.
If you think the amount of posts may go high and you may feel like "Hey, I thought I just wanted to pay him around BTC0.006 (just an example) for his services but as he posted more than 40 posts, I need to pay him double of what I expected".

Happens?

Okay, so what I've got as an offer for you is:
WELCOME OFFER
I'll charge fixed BTC0.006/week* for the first 20 weeks as a discount to the ones interested in advertising through me.

Minimum 20 posts guaranteed and I can even make 40 - 50 high quality posts if I get some more free time to do so, so that's a freebie which I think that you will not let go. Think at least twice before rejecting my offer and try my services once and if you don't like it (which will hardly happen), we'll come to a conclusion and see if I can refund you based on what is it that you didn't like in my work. And, if I don't reach even a minimum of 20 posts, I'll immediately refund you
(Number of posts I didn't make x BTC0.0003) = Amount of coins, without any questions asked.

*You need to buy at least one month of my service to take advantage of this offer (although I may consider less weeks for those who are very trustworthy).
2186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News! Third world nation bans BTC. 10 years in jail for holding crypto on: June 07, 2019, 11:56:14 PM
Give proofs or STFU because it's just a proposed draft and not a bill that has come into execution already. Wait for a decision to come out and we'll see. I'm from India too and I know what kind of media do we have here. They hear something, they add a lot of spice into the debate to make it the talk of the Town. So, let's not just come to a conclusion here and wait for final results.
2187  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ✊ Online Accelerator on: June 07, 2019, 11:25:55 PM
@OP,
What made you give us a misleading title in the subject here? The website that you provided is a bitly link that redirects to some blacksnail.org which looks like a social media, so what has anything in it to do with an online accelerator?

Let me give you the definition of an online accelerator and make you understand the difference:

* "A Bitcoin transaction accelerator is nothing but an off-chain paid/free request to a mining pool to deliberately include that particular transaction in the next block despite its low transaction fee. This creates an offline fee market for the mining pools."

2188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling frustration and depression on: June 07, 2019, 10:17:40 PM
--snip-- img

This is not a drunk gambler for sure, he might suffering from a frustration and maybe a depression for losing money.

Gambling is not supposed to make you look like this because it supposed to make you happy.

Gambling is one of its kind of a challenging activity which dares you to try to make money by doing it, so how is it supposed to make you happy alone? You're not bound to winning only and might sometimes/every time lose what you have or even more than that. It's always been asked to gamble what you can afford to lose, so putting in everything you've got is stupid and will leave you in utter stress which would normally turn out to frustration when you meet anybody after such scenario.

Quote
Do you ever feel this before because you didn't achieve your goal and you lose all your savings because of greediness?

Of course, you'll find a number of sob stories where even some of the greatest gamblers lost millions due to wrong decisions and then regret or even commit suicide which shows how desperate were they about the money and how greed took them all the way down to bankruptcy.
2189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 07, 2019, 04:35:26 PM
I'm working on a football (soccer) betting site, and I'd like to know if it is worth the effort to add the feature to allow no-registration bets. Has it ever been a deciding factor when you pick a site to bet on?

Call it decentralized betting instead of anonymous betting.
I've had been playing a lot at DirectBet when it used to be the no.1 choice of every gambler out there who wanted to gamble their coins (even on dice and a small casino type as well) with sportsbook feature making it a killing all in one shot kinda website where no registrations were needed to play. I'd really love to do on-chain betting with instant results and immediate withdrawals to my desired addresses, the only reason why I stopped gambling is this - I see no such websites anymore.  Undecided
Btw, for your information, I love soccer myself a lot and had once a thread related to some soccer bets with huge odds and most of them used to be wins.
2190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is all this "Satoshi" drama? on: June 07, 2019, 07:12:33 AM
People here think the best thing to do is to chase down satoshi and expose him. It's frustrating how ignorant people are. I don't blame satoshi for leaving, because let's be honest, who wants to be in this mess of a community?

Definitely, if I were Satoshi, why'd I ever expose myself at first place if my sole intention would be to make people go digital as well as understand how the traditional banking system has been making loots on our money and how we can save ourselves from the eyes of those Government authorities by using Bitcoins? Why would I ever "centralize" my self-made (selflessly created) world where everyone is a King and nobody's a slave? Why would I come and stop anybody (even Craig Wright) from using my code which is open source for them to fuck fork off my BTC and come up with some shit coins they believe in? If I were Satoshi, I'd never ever show up for the sake of my dignity, never let anyone get me biased on my own decisions as I'm the owner of my choices and nobody else has the authority to drag me or my decision to another way.

Quote
Bitcoin's communities are the most toxic of all communities in crypto. You don't find any coin with a community as toxic and hateful. This is doing actual harm to the adoption we all want to see take place sooner than later.

That's the truth my friend, if they don't say anything worst about the parent cryptocurrency today, they won't be trending and making big bucks while getting pumped up high for no fucking real use case but just a ^POMP^. They just try to glisten their asses in front of their (and all the) community in order to hype their alts that we've got this, we've got that. But nonetheless, they've really got nothing except that one fuckin word added to their project called "BLOCKCHAIN".

Quote
It started as one mission back in 2010 and now we're split up and try to combat each other instead of the government and banks. Governments and banks must be laughing hard at how things go here.

Human nature I guess? That's how it goes by.
We've been so mischievously trying to find Satoshi without even understanding what would be the consequences for Satoshi himself if he is found and surrendered to Government Officials.

Craig Wright is not Satoshi.

--snip--

Ah well. Late night at work and I got bored, what do you want?

Well, nothing really. You already did a lot for us by doing such a great research and thanks for letting us know who the real Satoshi is.

Thanks for the real entertainment as well as your token's endorsement in my thread.

As we're all a bunch of fools (according to you), I guess you don't really need us to give a FUCK to your porntokens eh? /s
2191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we still expect more from bitcon? on: June 07, 2019, 06:12:36 AM
I think these straight $1000 lines are actually dangerous for the health of BTC which is why BTC should drag down and correct a little bit before it starts exploding when news like ETF approved, Bakkt launched and other major ones show up on the board. I believe BTC is up for an extremely huge explosion this time, even above $100k (that's completely my personal belief but you can't call it hypothetical or stupid because BTC has accomplished the impossible a lot of times). But before that, it should calm down a bit and give alts a steep chance to rise and catch up with the ongoing action BTC has been showing since past few days.
2192  Local / India / Re: Help : Tax Advice for Crypto Hodlers ? on: June 06, 2019, 11:45:42 PM
I have a couple of questions I needed clarity on wrt to tax. Say an individual had bought crypto a long time back (2013-2015 period) and had barely sold any crypto for cash. This would obviously mean substantial sums in todays INR value if converted.

I think long-term capital gains tax is needed to be paid here, but better to go for a CA who supports BTC transactions and can help out openly in such matters. If you need assistance, I know someone who can be of help.

Quote
1) a) Is the person required to declare our crypto holdings in the Income Tax returns ?

Can't really say much over this as the current environment is still too hot in terms of cryptocurrencies in India, I'd hardly suggest you to do that until a regulation is passed here. Instead, go for "income from other sources" issue where you can show anything like these transactions (but not in a way that it's anywhere related to crypto).

Quote
   b) If answer to a is YES - What if a person has not declared any crypto holdings so far in any of the previous returns ?

You can give them a simple answer - As there was no such rule on how to declare such holdings, everyone was fearing to show such transactions in their sheet and so you also didn't show them up.

Quote
2) How do people deal with exchanges doing down/missing records ?

No worries, make an Excel sheet.
Whenever you carry out a transaction, you just need to keep the record yourself in that sheet (make it like a P/L statement) and take a screenshot of that trade wherever occurred.

Quote
3) Are crypto to crypto transactions taxable ? If so - how ?

If they ever become taxable, I'll be the first to leave this crypto space. How and on what basis do you think that these Govs would ever tax crypto to crypto transactions? It's fiat they need to take care about, nothing else.

Quote
Any other general advice that one needs to know for such individuals ? Trying to help a friend.

As said, I'd rather go to an experienced personnel rather than going on forum's opinions, that's because someone you can find locally who is experienced as well as a CA too can be greatly helpful in such matters instead of discussing it here as you maybe getting biased opinions on this and you just can't do it like voting system which will decide whom you should go with.
2193  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Decentralize on: June 06, 2019, 10:47:49 PM
Why we need to prefer decentralized exchange and decentralized products?

DEX allows you to go for direct trades with much lesser fees and full privacy as you don't need an account there to trade, your privkey is enough for you to sign in and some DEXs also provide you with a unique URL that you need to keep saved with ya to get back into your "account" where you put your funds at. No need to worry as such URLs ask you your password that you set when you visit them for the first time and nobody can actually harm your capital until they know almost everything from your privkey to the password that you've in your brain. As there is no such mediator with any records except the exchange itself, you don't need to do a KYC here and can trade limitless which is one great feature that I'd like to applaud for. Same applies to decentralized products which lets you do anything under the hood without the fear of having anyone knowing what you're doing (feels like Satoshi). Decentralized apps are there to provide you with the almost same or even better security as well as experience you get over centralized apps, but without knowing you as they're not interested in tracing you while also allowing you to use those apps without any discrepancies.
2194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyway to block usage of stolen coins? on: June 06, 2019, 10:27:34 PM
Let`s us say that a exchange got hacked, Would there be anyway to ban those bitcoins? like blacklist the stolen coins so they cannot be used on the network? I know about going back in time with consensus of the network to a earlier block or forking and using that new chain, but could you just not ban the stolen coins?  I mean make a way to do that?

First of all, the addresses where the coins were sent, needs to be tracked. Then, the exchange they were sent to, needs to be informed by the Cyber crime cell or anybody who is able to trace them down and the exchange can take the coins in (so not to let them trade them and withdraw anything in stable coins, fiat or dark coins), return it back to its original owner (from whom they stole the coins) after that owner proves to be the original one. That way, we can stop them. Another way is to expose them and their addresses publicly and ask everyone not to trade with such entities asking to sell a big lot of BTC to you for throw-away rates and even if they try to go based on market price, you should always ask for a Satoshi test and try to trace them if they actually sent from an address which is not related to the hack or they used any mixer.

I don't think that going back a few blocks would help but it would just mess up everything breaking the rules of the ongoing protocol and I never heard any such cases even got tried to be solved such way.
2195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire wants to buy 25% of the bitcoin supply on: June 06, 2019, 02:54:10 PM
Centralization, that's what they want to inspire.
Buying 25% of BTC? Will they ever be able to get it?
Not even 2.5% can be acquired so easily without a real seller that too would be done under OTC trades.
They need people like us (by adding pie-by-pie which would turn it into an ocean of BTC) and many big whales to be able to get that many BTC.

I've got a question here:
When billionaires understand that this is a safe haven asset to invest their money into "at current prices" and multiply their money in a few years or even months, why not just sell them our BTC at mouthful demand and rake in more than at least $50000 or even $100k per BTC? This would either drop their wishes into garbage, or they'd just demand for our prices and even buy at those values which would give BTC a single shot pump to the values they'd be sold at - to these billionaires.  Grin

Trust me, each and every of them want to take control of almost everything. Just don't give your precious coins to these people, you're not just going to sell your coins but give the whole control in the hands of these guys after which they will handle the steering of Bitcoin and move it wherever they want to.
2196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: June 06, 2019, 01:24:24 PM
Think calculative instead of asking whether you should buy it or not. It was $3300 at once, gave you the opportunity to buy lower, doubled after all the hype crossed its limits and BTC crossed $6500 (even $7000 mark). As it was holding that level very tight and then exploded towards $7900, everyone was thinking about a possible reversal (and it actually happened when BTC fell down to ~$6900 in one go when a whale actually dumped his 3600 Bitcoins over Bitstamp - https://cryptopotato.com/was-this-the-trigger-for-bitcoins-dump-3600-btc-huge-sell-off-order-on-bitstamp/

It was also a chance, those who took it must be happy now. Okay, let's get back to being calculative.

So, you lost a chance to double and even almost triple your money when BTC reached over $9000. So what's gone is gone, leave it. But beware, BTC is in for a very, very big and parabolic rally out there waiting for the right time to explode to levels you can't imagine.
If it's about calculation, just think that if you buy at current price tag of $7700 and BTC explodes to $50k (which is 100% possible considered all the good happening in favor of BTC), you're still not missing the train but making loads of money there with a 650% return over your investment. Think wisely.
2197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is going to win the NBA FINALS MVP? on: June 06, 2019, 12:44:49 PM
Stephen Curry will always be my first and last choice when it comes to MVP as he's one of the best 3-pointers and easy-peasy 2 point throwers of NBA, one of the best dodgers and defenders of each and every season, a pro-active player who's having the ability to turn a lost match into a win any moment he starts throwing his 3s. I love this player as he is the definition of basketball for me.
2198  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice on BTC in Telegram on: June 06, 2019, 11:10:07 AM
Nice! They should immediately rectify it so they can further attract low-rollers in the gambling community.
0.001BTC is I believe justifiable now. Remember, they are competing with real dice gambling websites.
Not many people are fan of telegram casino also. So yes, they need to acknowledge the request of the potential players.
Yes, they've said that it will be reduced to 0.001BTC in the future. But I don't know on how long we should wait for that change that he has replied to my question. Let's give them a time on how they will change those demands by their potential customers.

It's a new kind of casino and others who have said it looks like they are enjoying it. @OP, we'll wait for that update thanks for acknowledging our suggestions.

I've played there too and find it somewhat interesting.
Anyways, by going through this thread, I saw that OP already kept their promise once by reducing the minimum withdrawal from BTC0.01 to BTC0.005
As they said, they've already considered the community's request and they are going to reduce it to probably BTC0.001 very soon, so poking upon the same nerve again and again won't help but it's better to keep calm and wait for their decision. I'm ready to play more @OP whenever you turn the withdrawal amount down to BTC0.001 but there's no pressure upon you and I leave it to your convenience.
2199  Economy / Services / Re: Stedsm's Avatar and Personal Text for rent! on: June 06, 2019, 10:58:36 AM
I'm also open to offers by you and can negotiate if I find it worth my time and posts. Can even go for a pay on weekly basis if I find the offer interesting. If you've got anything of value that I may advertise, feel free to contact me at Telegram @MrBitcoiner or PM me here or post your offers here publicly (I'd rather prefer on going private before we reveal everything publicly as prices are a compliment which sets a person's talent value).
2200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is all this "Satoshi" drama? on: June 05, 2019, 02:10:50 PM
it is simply because it is profitable to do so which is why everyone is trying to steal that identity, most of them don't go all the way though but all of them have the same goal. and as long as the community pays these scammers attention, they will continue doing what they do.

Quote
"If he really is, he can go onto bitcointalk.org and make a post under Satoshi’s account saying who he is. Otherwise he’s a lier. Or what? Did he forget his password?! Lier lier. And a twat."
nobody can because the satoshi account is locked to prevent abuse in case it was hacked or something.

If Satoshi is for real and if he is there, living; I don't think it's a big deal for him to break any kinda locks you're referring to. If he could login here, maybe he's having some extra proofs in his account itself which would immediately make him prove that it's him, the real Satoshi.

The word "profitable" seems to be a fit here because these guys are just attacking each other, trying to steal someone's identity and making a lot of money doing that which they don't deserve et al. I don't know why these entities are trying to get their shitcoins up while playing all that drama against the community, that too at a time when BTC is gaining back a lot of exposure, media and is now a part of mainstream. Are they trying stop something that they know and we don't?
