1481  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is bitcoin not anonymous? on: June 02, 2020, 10:29:49 PM
Bitcoin is not anonymous so not to allow hackers hack your coins and get away with them through exchanges by dumping those coins on innocent people's money.

I believe your Bitcoins are anonymous until:
- You buy BTC through credit card
- You yourself allow to break your identity by revealing your address you used and giving the transaction ID to prove that it's yours
- You sign a message
- You use an exchange to trade, be it with or without KYC
- You send your BTC to any local person you're dealing with

So, unless you have your money remaining in BTC for a long time and you decide not to move it, or just mix them and move it to a number of addresses and keep them aside, you are safe and anonymous.
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good news from Ohio - Sports betting will be legal now. on: June 02, 2020, 10:15:35 PM
What about those countries where gambling is illegal? Will such countries categorise as well as consider sports betting as a different and somewhat responsible way of gambling and legalize it at their own place? It ain't no easy task considering that even US took this longer to come up with such decision.
1483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The #1 reason traders find it hard to follow their risk management plan. on: June 02, 2020, 09:43:01 PM
The problem is, traders don't keep their emotions aside. Greed is one of those emotions. Money doesn't come to emotions but deeds, right deeds. But traders run behind money so much that they forget to calculate their risk:reward before moving forward and regret later (I've only seen people regretting their decisions taken under the impact of greed). Greed steals your power of thinking effectively on how to manage your money and how much to use in a trade and how much to save, but thinking that "Oh yeah, I can make a few extra bucks if I pull in extra money on this trade". That way, most traders lose a lot.
1484  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: June 02, 2020, 09:30:15 PM
I had some spare (and very less amount of) INR and I just had some freaking wins on my INR bets that I'd like to share. I mean, I just cashed out at around 5x on a soccer bet where there was just 1 goal made at 36th minute of the match and I put a bet upon "None" for 2nd goal with 8x odds. I felt bad I cashed out at 78th minute but saw afterwards that the game ended with that 1 goal only. I knew the risks but I also know that some games have only defensive teams rather than attacking and they just don't goal, so it's a win-win mostly for all of us.

@sportsbet,
Please do something about the website, after you had a makeover of the "My profile" section, the site lags a lot. As well, I loved that old drop-down system where we clicked and it showed us everything rather than visiting the notifications section. Is there any way to switch back to the old interface?
1485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto personal analysis on: June 02, 2020, 09:17:13 PM
--snip--
I am not sure about rules on posting same image on multiple places.

I believe you can do that if it actually belongs to you (i.e.; your work) else you'll need to give credits to the owner of that image in order to abide by the forum rules and you won't have any issues.

@OP,
I guess you've stopped posting BTC analysis completely or what? I had been following your thread as you used to give good BTC analysis but I'm seeing nothing from your end since April about BTC. Please share some more insights on what do you believe about the next possible BTC move?
1486  Economy / Economics / Re: If Recession Kicks In, How Will Bitcoin Perform? on: June 02, 2020, 09:08:05 PM
@OP,
I seen reason for Bitcoin not to outperform every single asset out there and while you're asking how it'll perform in the future, just see its latest formation and you'll understand. The Corona pandemic broke down BTC to a new fresh low this year at around $3700 but it rebounded so hard and the % of that rebound is, by any means, extremely higher than any sticks available in any sort of markets. I believe that BTC may see a correction, a steep correction before getting higher once again (I mean BTC is yet to get down more) but it'll definitely survive the upcoming recession (if it ever takes place) due to the fact that BTC has least market capitalization compared to big players as of now, and it won't be getting vanished out of the markets anywhere.
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop wasting your electricity on: June 02, 2020, 08:51:32 PM
What really made you think that these coins will be worth a lot some day when you already had XMR in the mining game and you still didn't mine it? Was it because of the difficulty that you chose these shitcoins over XMR and are now crying on your failure? Accept it that you have given enough time to wrong alts and just move on. I believe mining altcoins doesn't support your appetite anymore (after watching your mining portfolio) so isn't it better to just buy and hold some XMR each month worth the average electricity bills that you were paying for your mining?
1488  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★★★ The legend is back! ★★★ Bigger and better than ever! ★★★ on: June 02, 2020, 08:39:41 PM
Luckybit guys, I want to thank you guys for coming up with such an impressive dice. I've been bored with the almost same old interface on almost each and every website out there but yours is totally different and unique. The way it allocates a boundary, kinda looks like a game out of this world. Had also been trying on gaining x999 lately but no luck. I'm also waiting on the chatbot to announce my name with a question for me to get some extra free BTC.  Cheesy
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH might go down below 80$ on: June 02, 2020, 08:33:00 PM
ETH can't, and won't go down to the level you suggested because everybody trust its network and it's a major altcoin with too many smart contracts already relying on it. But about the talks on ATH of ETH, I believe that it has already seen good highs this year and should not go any higher further till 2021 and should adjust in the short term.
1490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: an important reminder: don't get killed in this bull run and protect yourself. on: June 02, 2020, 07:46:15 PM
Nobody's gonna get killed but yeah, it's true that for every winning trader, there remains a lot of losing traders as well. I don't follow anybody on Twitter anymore and would advice all of you not to follow any advice you get on Twitter, just take it as an information and move on. I said it because I've lost enough in my old days when I started following some crypto related accounts and they were all just making money on us and nothing. I think that after the dump, BTC is back again under that resistance level and will remain stable for few more days.
1491  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First Time here on: June 02, 2020, 07:22:34 PM
Hey, welcome bud.
I'd like to add in that there is a tip for you that you can take with a grain of salt if you'd like to -
Just be yourself, as normal as you are in your real life and try to find answers to your questions using Google search or the search button here first before asking something that was already answered before as it may be considered spam. I believe 3 years are enough to gain good knowledge about BTC, so ranking up here should not be a problem for you - you'll need some merits to rank up. Search about it yourself.
1492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin broke 10K wall and Downtrend line on: June 02, 2020, 07:02:11 PM
That was a clean bull trap and you can see how easily it free-fell around 8% from its high it reached. I'm holding tight in USDT and I believe I'll have some leveraged shorts (not more than 5x) per trade. Don't long currently as the charts have some shaking surprises that may come any time and get you liquidated.
1493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Still confused about limit order or stop-limit order or combining them on: June 02, 2020, 04:45:31 PM
I don't think it's actually possible because you cannot "set up" something like that except if there is any API of a bot to allow you to do it the way you want to. But if you are too much concerned about this, you can do it in this way:
- Open 2 tabs
- Open both the desired coins (the one that you are willing to sell and the one you want to buy)
- Open the tab where you want to set limit buy to buy coin B, put the exact amount of coins you're willing to buy
- Switch to next tab and sell your bought coins A and immediately switch to the first tab
- Set up your limit buy and wait for the coins B to be bought.
1494  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [RED ALERT] marlboroza attempt to "conquer" bitcointalk with his friends. on: June 02, 2020, 05:48:02 AM
Are you so track minded you can't see this is a script/code?

You're selling something that has only one purpose - scam people. Granted this forum allows to sell all sorts of crap so you probably won't get banned but instead we have this thing called the trust system, which you're still refusing to learn about.

You are just ridiculous with your "scam" assumptions.  Grin

Man, you made it possible for us to make you "an object of ridicule".
You called the supporters as friends? Are those HYIP sites your friends, paying commissions to you to bring people to their sites and scam them? HYIPs are literally shit that only those people eat who are unaware of the fact that it's shit. If you're doing something unethical to the forum as well as the community, we, the "friends" will definitely come up and flush you out as well as ruin your intentions of doing so. Negative rating coming in for me from you? Please do so, I'm eagerly waiting.

As well, the attacks you did at lenders show what kind of an idiot box you are.  Cheesy

In simple words, "FUCK OFF". I'm not as polite as everyone else out there because I don't like being what others expect from me, I love being myself and this is my way of saying Goodbye to you.
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is worthless, but in-game currency or tokens are priceless ...yea right! on: June 02, 2020, 05:41:57 AM
While it was about this game, I'd also like to add one of my experiences that had the almost same story but there was a minor difference:

One of my friends contacted me in late 2017 (late after we met in 2010, so 7 years later). During our talks, he told me about his gambling addiction and how he used to will a million rupees with just 10k INR. He made a fortune for himself (that's what he thinks about his winnings) but I thought out of the way and asked him whether he knew about BTC. He said yes, he knew about it. He then asked me what's the catch? Why did I ask him about Bitcoins? Then I told him that what if he'd have invested that 10k INR in BTC and instead gambled with BTC? The winnings he'd have made would have been around at least 10 times if not 20. He told me what if the price could have been dumped. I asked him whether he bought any BTC after seeing the 2013 pump and then when it dumped down back to $300? He said no. I then asked if he bought any when BTC was $3k after reaching its new ATH at $20k? Once again, he said no. I showed him and asked him to calculate what his risks of buying BTC and gambling with it could have been worth today, if he'd have just bought it at its low and kept some. He could have got 1 full BTC for 10k INR when it was $200-250 and if he'd have made it 100 BTC (as 1 million INR is 100x 10k INR), his 100 BTC would have been worth a million dollar, which means he would be having at least 7.70 crore rupees on hands as of today.
1496  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] TITANT- Deceptive behaviour and suspicious claims on: May 30, 2020, 06:47:42 AM
Yep, they use Apple intentionally, as they know that their products are too expensive for majority of people, so they hope that some will fall for that. When you add on that 300%+ return promise and fake partneships, there is no question what is going on here-  just a lazy cash grab attempt, and nothing else. And we have seen bunch of those in the last few years.

They've double-crossed their own words with shit like
1). 50% discount on products if purchased through their tokens
2). 300%+ returns possible if investors invest in their project.

They are giving shitty assumptions about recommending Bestchange as best exchange monitoring service - but was it written there as the same? Nope. They clearly showed them as their partners. There are partnership deeds that are needed to be signed before they can use any/all of their mentioned partners on their website. Changelly is not here, else they'd also make it clear for all of us whether this project have them as their partners for real or not.

While they're trying to make a big loot on their customers, the potential they're showing about making 300% returns is easily possible, not for the investors but themselves.
1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRIVATE SALE] TITANT: a cryptocurrency that will serve, not rule!!! on: May 30, 2020, 04:10:05 AM
Before condemning any actions of the project, henceforth we advise you firstly to understand the essence of the issue. We do not hide behind partnerships with anyone, we absolutely do not need this. We have already explained the reason for this in a fairly understandable form.

Wow, calling them out as partners and recommending them as a good service to exchange BTC and alts is a completely different thing, I guess you understand it very well that what you did, had a very thin line in between but it was there. So don't justify your "Partners" play with what you're trying to say. I'm not imagining anything the way you've presented it, if you've not done it, you couldn't be facing this. YOU CAN ONLY CALL SOMEBODY A PARTNER AFTER THEY'VE GIVEN YOU THEIR CONSENT / ALLOWED YOU TO DO SO.

Quote
As for transactions, the token really was issued a very long time ago. But we were not in a hurry to launch the project, because we wanted to consider all possible options for the development of the project. We do not want to launch a project without understanding all the aspects and risks associated with the implementation of the project, as we understand all the responsibility assigned to us.

You're speaking here like I've got 0 knowledge about how and when to launch a project. I can take your word, but what about the early or I'd say pre-announcements that should have been made about the then-made project which you're now endorsing about? It doesn't matter how long it takes to launch if you give your investors an idea that the project is still in the making and they'll support you if they see any developments rolling in and here, I'm asking about the pre-launch.
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRIVATE SALE] TITANT: a cryptocurrency that will serve, not rule!!! on: May 27, 2020, 12:18:07 PM
I believe any and all the users watching this thread should either give a negative rating or somebody come up with a flag opposing this project because they are actually misleading us. I don't know, as well as can't even trust that they've partnered with changelly as well. Bestchange was used to have its reputation hit here once because some user had an issue with an exchange that was listed there. But they involved in the scene and helped the user, I believe we should do something to protect their reputation this time as we know how hard their struggle used to be in order to build this reputation here.

Is this project too old btw? Lolz I can see there are 2 transactions, one was around 280 days old.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 26, 2020, 11:31:32 PM
I have faced such situations before which is why I left gambling aggressively and now I gamble responsibly whenever I do that. You can't really escape from a bad situation through gambling because it can only get you through once, but not every single time and yeah, if you lose the whole capital in regards to make back at least the capital (i.e.; recovery of losses), you won't just make it any good but worst for both yourself and your family. Never ever think of gambling as a way that could help you escape all your bills and expenses at a shot because luck can't be favorable each moment.
1500  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and COVID on: May 26, 2020, 10:46:58 PM
I won't just speak about Bitcoins but it's Crypto and CoVID we need to talk over.
I believe Cryptocurrencies have already proven their worth as a safe haven even in this worst pandemic situation because BTC already gained back $10k again after falling to $3800 where other major stocks and shares have declined so badly in numbers. Even alt season has come now where daily, few coins are showing some good moves by getting up at least 50% and some even going above 5-6x.
