1341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Record Revenue for Blockchain Gaming Company During Pandemic on: July 14, 2020, 10:56:39 PM
Definitely, the reason behind this record hike in terms of Animoca's successful profit achievements is the fact that everyone is free atm, so they're all looking for newer resources every single day in order to entertain themselves. Who doesn't love gambling (I mean, there are some who'd just burn their whole money into gambling if given a chance) and these lovers just go over these online gambling sites, play there with their skillset and yet lose a lot because the house will take everything in the long run.
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Heard about bZrx? on: July 14, 2020, 10:47:12 PM
I've read about both, the project and the team behind it and seeing their guts not to leave it even after the hack and do the complex transition from being solely made on Zrx protocol to creating something that has its own reason to exist, makes me believe that this is yet to go far more and may possibly show us all a new Pundi X style pump soon where Pundi X just used to get pumped daily.
1343  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising tensions and effect on global trade on: July 14, 2020, 10:40:08 PM
Everything about this Coronavirus story is really something messed up lol. I always used to say that the Chinese are the ones behind this Coronavirus outbreak, because the way things has been happening there it seems like they know about it. It’s not only for the fact that the virus didn’t spread out of Wuhan, apart from that they quickly built a huge hospital building to take care of those that are infected with the virus within a short time that the virus broke out.

For a fact, always remember that whatever is shown as truth, I mean served as a truth, can't always be truth. If they add some coating of gold over shit, doesn't mean that shit gets turned into gold. They didn't let the cases go out of Wu Han, how the fuck is that possible? Not even the nearest ones got affected while this had been spread globally? And now, some guys come randomly trying to save China's ass by defending them and saying that they've not done anything, even after all this?

Quote
Moreover, where it starts getting weird is when scientists, doctors and journalists that tried to report them started to disappear. And they kept Coronavirus a secret and was giving WHO false information until the virus sneaked into other countries. They are definitely behind this. And if you check, more people in China are surviving the virus than those in the US and some other countries. I don’t trust that country, they can do anything.

Their control. Chinese govt.'s control over their media and even their citizens is too much that they won't ever reveal even the correct number of cases as well as total deaths that took place there.
1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: July 14, 2020, 09:08:03 PM
The CLAM pump was pretty exciting for all of one second until I saw that it was fake. I wish CMC could simply add some valid exchanges here.

Even I don't get what makes CMC believe that yobit is a valid source of exchanging our coins? It can even send BTC to a million some day when BTC will start pumping on other exchanges but will only pass $50k-$100k. And to those who are still shocked, thinking why didn't yobit remove this clam coin from their exchange if no deposit and withdrawal functions are to be allowed? Then the answer is simple, that's the only way they can make money now as they've now been completely kicked out of this forum, which had been the best place to advertise their platform. When they start their pump shitshow, there are people definitely who just get into that coin and if it's a reputed old name, then bam bam, it's a win win for yobit.
1345  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Post-Airdrop Project Management Strategy on: July 14, 2020, 08:56:50 PM
Not sure what you really answered.

An answer which had a question in it.
Vod's definitely not going to leave you and may tag you if you don't prove your words to be true. You just can't come up with a dashboard screenshot, but rather do something so that we may see something that'd benefit your users as well as prove us too that your claims are not fake. And about KYC, if you'll conduct it on your site ever, trust me, you'll lose many out of those ^40k users^ who have registered for your services. Wink
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: July 14, 2020, 08:48:13 PM
It doesn't matter who announces the project as now, anyone would just buy a copper membership and do the needful themselves for their project rather than hiring a legendary here because they know that people here have now become clever enough to give an in-depth check and analyze the whole project as well as the team and their plans first before even throwing a penny out of their pockets.
1347  Economy / Economics / Re: India-China border tensions on: July 14, 2020, 08:39:18 PM
--snip--

On a personal view, this is a cheap move from china because when everyone is suffering from a pandemic that was started by you how can you even think of attacking countries that are facing a trouble started in china itself.

That's the exact same point of view I've been putting in front of people, and even being criticized for thinking like that. I mean, how stupid of China to attack a place they've made billions from? Like they're trying to cut the hen all at once and don't want her to give a golden egg every single day. I'm from India myself and I know how badly it hurts when you see your soldiers dying because of those who are already guilty in the eyes of the whole world atm. Instead of pleading everyone and asking for forgiveness, China is trying to show off its powers but remember, we've got the best army available here in India and it doesn't matter whatever games China will play from their end during this pandemic season, they'll just be beaten down on their face if they try to make a war here.
1348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of Bitcoin can exceed 10 thousand dollars at the present on: July 14, 2020, 08:19:34 PM
No, BTC doesn't really look that strong atm in order to be breaking $10k currently because nobody's gone insane to bet on anything except on their own lives in order to save the money and live a good life which won't be possible in future due to the fact that this pandemic has left us with almost nothing and has the potential to make a lot of people die due to starvation. These reasons are enough for BTC not to reach $10k as of now because nobody's investing, and it's a huge achievement for BTC to even remain close to $10k these days while the whole stock market crisis is yet to recover, but I see BTC to remain stable at this price for many more months to come.
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok PUMPS Dogecoin Cryptocurrency | ÐOGE going to $1?!!! on: July 14, 2020, 07:32:31 PM
--snip--

If you want to invest, do not invest into something that went up HUGE in the recent times, invest into something that you think is undervalued and could go up a lot more in the future.

They've only noticed the pump but what about the ~50% dump from that higher level of 60 sats? It all settled near 32 sats and is currently near 36 sats but I don't think that it'll be holding this as those who were to party, they've played their part and even enjoyed the party already so it's not even worth watching right now.
1350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Need to know? on: July 14, 2020, 07:23:42 PM
My personal advice:
Go read, read a lot and keep yourself limited to beginners and help section only, for a few days. This is because you'll learn a lot by asking what you don't understand, and all you can ask here - needs to be done in that section only. Another thing, Meta is one great place if you want to learn more about the nature of the forum as well as the users. Grab some knowledge about trading by visiting trading discussion, and also give a look into scam accusations and reputation threads where you may probably give your opinion if you're aware of what's going on over there.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A suggestion from an early adopter on: July 14, 2020, 07:16:13 PM
I believe that like most of the users here, I'd only follow BTC alone as it's the only coin I visit Binance for, just to keep myself updated on its price all the time and I don't trade BTC, either hodl or just sell them at the right time whenever I feel that the price has reached out to the value it may start falling from (not talking about crash, but a slight correction). It's too hard to hodl these days considering crypto being the only source of income for many users because of not getting outside their homes.
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Heard about bZrx? on: July 14, 2020, 06:49:35 PM
Hey guys, some time ago, I was asked by one of my friends to invest in bZrx protocol as they believed that this project had huge potential. Later on, it went through some hack but still investors kept believing in it as the team didn't stop the work behind the project. The pre-sale then was done at the price of 7k gwei per bZrx token and currently, it's worth $0.12.

My queries are -
Have you invested in this already?
Did you invest early or you've bought it after getting listed at idex?
Would you suggest to get in now?
Did you (early bird) already sell your stuff at 10-30x and are sitting back with your profits? Or are you guys waiting for the price to make a new ATH?
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok PUMPS Dogecoin Cryptocurrency | ÐOGE going to $1?!!! on: July 14, 2020, 06:37:47 PM
Ahh, don't just get laid over this news, man. Doge ain't going nowhere as the players just needed something with less volume upwards and so, they smashed it when nobody was watching and the news came as they knew they'll be getting enough room to sell what they'll buy then (or they've already bought earlier). I believe these guys tried their best to hype about doge but didn't get the results as expected, and I bet Doge won't be worth a dollar ever (unless dollar becomes worth a few cents). Wink
1354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: July 14, 2020, 06:30:19 PM
I do not have much confidence in trading by another person, there are a lot of problems that occur in this type of trading, it will be difficult to calculate the exact profit rate for each party and this will be unfair to either party. This is best done by providing a loan and taking a specified percentage as interest on the loan.

Not just is it the matter of putting trust upon the trader or not, but the major issue is that what will happen when the trader loses? The fact is, in most cases, people trust someone (trader) whom they know personally like someone being a family friend or a relative and when they lose, not only do they lose their money but the reputation that these people have in the eyes of investors (the ones who invested and took it as a privilege). It's better to keep it to ourselves as our reputation is much more important than our trading profits.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok is a new social media source for promoting cryptocurrencies? on: July 14, 2020, 06:14:08 PM
Too many countries banning TikTok has made the app itself a joke, where the reasons given by most of the people included, but not limited to the fact that this software fetches your personal data and transfers it to the company which is against the privacy policy. Another thing is that, all I've seen over TikTok is shit and nothing (I'm never a fan of this but my wife used to make me watch all that shit :/ ).
So, when you've got nothing so interesting to watch in those 25 sec vids rather than just few people lip-syncing a song and some shit comments, it's better to utilize your time watching something else that's worth your time.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto for gambling? on: July 14, 2020, 05:59:36 PM
I'd prefer XRP over any other crypto currently for it being the lowest in price and having higher chances of going upside in terms of price. It's better if you don't just think as a gambler and rather have that trading side alive in yourself. That's the beauty of having crypto in gambling, it gives an opportunity to get both - profits through wins and more profits through price rise.
1357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: July 14, 2020, 04:22:28 PM
A major point you didn't determine here is - KYC is pointless.
I mean, what's the point of KYC here when we are talking about a community which is interested in sheer anonymity in order to save their asses from governments and other financial authorities which keep track of whatever we do, be it online or offline?
1358  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising tensions and effect on global trade on: July 14, 2020, 03:43:41 PM
..., they'll just start sending Coronavirus through their products in order to increase the pandemic ratio in India knowing that it's 2nd largest in terms of population?

Come on man. No one is sending virus to anyone. Everyone is fighting to kill virus. Some countries fight seriously like Vietnam and South Korea and China. Some countries like Brazill and some others dont give that much focus.  Noone is so dumb to deliberately spread virus since it can come back as a boomerang and behead them.

You don't even know f*ck about what's going on and still came defending China. Yes, I hate them not just because they were the reason why Coronavirus came into existence, but also because their main motive to spread that shit is that, they want to invade some areas of many countries. But after knowing that a lot of countries have already started recovering hard and are getting united in breaking trade terms with China, it just started breaching the LAC near Ladakh in India. I'll literally hate China forever. You know a lot? Okay tell me something, why in the name of God, did Coronavirus didn't spread outside Wu Han alone in China, why didn't it reach Beijing while the spread took place badly in Italy and many other parts of Europe later on? Why didn't they tell the world before? Why didn't they stop the travel of their students, businessmen, common people, etc. from their country to other countries?
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cloud mining with OXBTC on: July 14, 2020, 03:10:37 PM
It's now a culture here that people start accusing new projects as a scam without any proof. I am not saying to go and invest in this project but they have a bounty program here on bitcointalk.org and they are paying the participants.
I don't agree with you, the culture here is to make cryptocurrency safe and secure for new people because scammers are determined to rob new people.
Think yourself that you are new and you invest in a scam project, it will be good if your money is lost? No!
That's why some of our members expose the scammers by spending their precious time.
However, you should praise those members who do this, I do not know why you are calling them bad.

sir, I am calling no one bad. I am just saying that if you say that some project is not legitimate then please do come up with some evidence. The whole project's reputation is destroyed because of your comments.

Okay, evidence, good.
So, if someone doesn't have an evidence about something means the project is fine and could give you too good to be true kinda results, be it cloud mining or any sector that promotes HYIP scams? So, what do you want? You want the person to first try out, get scammed and then use that evidence to show you what he did and what you shouldn't? This means getting scammed is necessary first in order to prove that a project is not fine. Wow, someone is just trying to help you by asking you not to dive into an empty swimming pool, but seems like you'll just throw yourself into it. Wink
1360  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: July 14, 2020, 02:56:38 PM
Banks won't really stop using physical cash, nor normal people will do. I'm saying this because banks are possibly running their business over physical cash only while many high-end people and even authorities are involved in having their money being kept black (black money I'm talking about) and if physical cash goes extinct, I believe many big dogs will commit suicide the exact same day or die due to such a heart-attack giving news. I don't think that banks will ever decide to go digital fully without that piece of paper being involved.
