I also think the way @OP thinks, because it's human itself that's trying to save themselves from getting infected, the more they try to be safe, the more are the chances they will get infected. Survival ratio in this has come down gradually and everyone will think of others as if they are intentionally trying to spread the disease.
1622  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Fake telegram ico website. on: April 14, 2020, 09:13:23 PM
On the name of this GRAM token, many scammers are trying to scam us through telegram itself. I don't know where the hell do they get our telegram IDs from, or maybe they randomly contact people, but I've also been contacted by around 3 people, 2 male and 1 female. They sent a TelegramSetup.exe file while also gave a description that we can get 5-50 GRAM tokens and I've been randomly chosen by the telegram team for their airdrop. Quite shady, I reported them immediately and then blocked them.
1623  Economy / Speculation / Re: nrd525 Market Tracker on: April 14, 2020, 08:49:41 PM
If the stock markets are going to act uncorrelated with the economy (perhaps stocks are the true safe haven???) expect bitcoin to follow and more shenanigans.

You truly believe Bitcoin could, and should follow the stock markets? I guess it follows but up to some extent and when at some point, a majority of direction (be it bulls or bears) gets exhausted here, we see a major correction rate compared to what we've seen in other big names (they've not even recovered) but BTC showed a full >100% recovery and more is expected. My question is, while you were a bear in old days, are you still bearish on BTC during this pandemic period or you're expecting it to shoot higher quickly? May we taste some piece of your secrets? Wink
1624  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is nobody talking about this major resistance? on: April 14, 2020, 08:40:56 PM
We've been rejected re-entry to $7000 multiple times today, and even though that's the case, I still don't think there's too much selling pressure to bring us down to the price range you're aspiring for.

--snip--

True, we've constantly seen $7k and then getting in again and again, looks like BTC has been range-bounded and doesn't seem to be breaking any levels soon, possibilities of sideways are more than any seriously major moves to be seen till BTC clearly goes above $7200 and $8530 respectively. Can you see a flag? I think it is going to be a longer one this time.
1625  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 14, 2020, 08:30:50 PM
I believe that the technicals are giving pure sign of a downside reversal before a quick uptrend takes place. There seems to be a big winter coming before we may see a warm sunrise, and I don't think that BTC will be dragged down immediately through a crash but this time, it'll be slow AF and I too believe that bears are still in control and we may see a new low this year before a hefty mounting.
1626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every BTC trader should use it on: April 14, 2020, 07:54:40 PM
Being a fan of Blockchain Whispers, I find it great that I actually saw someone publishing their name here for the services they have been giving to their users. And not going so off-topic, I'd like to add tradingview here for their best features offered such as all types of indicators available on "limited" crypto charts and I guess we can even share our trading stats there.
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin going POS sounds like a big joke don't you think? on: April 14, 2020, 07:13:42 PM
Trust me, that won't happen ever else all the mining equipment will become dust in a moment if this becomes true. PoS is good and it may be good for Eth, but for BTC to keep its worth, it needs to work as it is and I don't think we need any kind of interferences in such crucial matters. The guy who said this, doesn't know/understand the power and unity of miners (yeah, they leave sometimes but then, difficulty adjusts too to the remaining ones' levels). I'd never support any such ideas and will even boycott if needed, because it's the hardwork that pays off and if the big boys will just take their share and keep holding, whom of us will be getting anything in BTC? Though everything is partially centralized, things will then be fully controlled and centralized once this happens.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Gambling platform on: April 14, 2020, 07:05:20 PM
thank you so much , yeah i have a humble experience in solidity and web dev

How are you planning to move your funds, then? I mean, you'll need to move each and every new deposit to a completely different address and that too each assigned to a newer one every single time a transaction is made through your website. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is something extremely complicated here.
1629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management , how ? on: April 14, 2020, 06:45:41 PM
- Never trade with what you can afford to lose.
- Never risk more than 5% of your portfolio in a single trade, don't open multiple positions if you are not sure about diversification of your assets.
- Never lose more than 20% of your risked portfolio (i.e. 5% that I told you before)
- Never trade what you don't know anything about. You need to have some brief knowledge about a project to trade it.
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: April 14, 2020, 06:33:50 PM
I sometimes get lucky with some sportsbetting games still going on in some countries like Soccer, Horse Racing, Dogs Racing, etc. but the games in Soccer aren't between highly experienced teams and mostly they seem to have higher chances of getting a bigger number of goals except in British Soccer matches where we have more defense seen and least number of goals are made. I made some good money during these days on such underdogs and have finally made my mind that these are the ones I need to bet on, forever. Wink
1631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Itīs not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: April 14, 2020, 04:59:27 PM
To me, I see it as "Only those bother who bought it high, rest should not even think of it reaching any new highs as they are already in profits". If you have bought at $20k or even $14k, it's human nature that says that you'll definitely worry about it. If you've bought it at $300, $1000 or even $3k (or even mined around 10 or 100, maybe 100s of BTC) in old days, I see no reason for you to worry as you're already in profits, so you should use it for its pseudonymous nature and not focus on the price. About the price, history repeats itself, so wait for that big curve to come back in the charts where you'll see BTC shooting up straight towards a $100k.
1632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 14, 2020, 04:46:00 PM
I don't understand why people relate BTC to S&P500, Nikkei and other major markets? You don't see a simple yet an extremely big difference here that these markets have got an extremely big marketcap attached to their names whereas BTC still has a lot more to achieve in the near time, so why even bother comparing these markets to a completely new asset class that is not even mass-adopted as of yet whereas these names are so famous that people blindly trust and trade on them?
1633  Other / Politics & Society / Re: GLOBAL PANDEMIC - BLESSING IN DISGUISE on: April 14, 2020, 02:36:12 PM
Let alone the world survive at first, then we will be seeing and talking about those prices and coins. Seeing this global pandemic as a reward, we can see a drastic drop in terms of air and noise pollution, the weather has completely changed and our environment looks pretty healthier than before. Taking it as a curse, the Coronavirus curve has steepened so quickly that it's looking to get out of the hands of our living big-hearted superheroes and we need to give them a lot of support for them to save us and save themselves too. This fight is not with Coronavirus if you ask me, it is a fight with ourselves because karma takes revenge and it's our karma that's showing us these days because this is what we did to our Mother Nature, so we are suffering from the same. Fight yourselves carefully and let us win against ourselves and save us and our Nature both.
1634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why reward halving instead of doubling? on: April 13, 2020, 11:53:55 PM
So basically, based on your theory, BTC rewards should be doubled. But what exactly will it do? It'll speed up the entire process of getting all that BTC on the table to be mined as quickly as drinking a cup of coffee. It'd have been all mined years ago if this theory was to be considered from the beginning. The reason why we all follow the halving strategy is the fact that the cause behind BTC's price rise is this halving only, whether you trust us or not.
1635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: April 13, 2020, 11:46:03 PM
Trust me @OP, this shows that you come nowhere to be tagged as a "trader" if you've lost around $1k and are still learning how much you need to put in ^before^ you can actually start making profits. Your experience seems to me as a novice one and you're just losing and intended towards losing more. You know? Day trading in crypto is only possible when there is enough volatility in the markets with higher volumes. So, stop thinking of doing it at days when you can't even expect these two things. Another thing is that, you can also start with $10-$20 or even $50 max if you wanted to test it out whether you can do it or not, but you didn't and you just jumped in with some ^small for you, yet big for others^ kinda capital and lost everything. You need to learn money management because that's the highly possible reason you've lost this much as of yet.
1636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Scalping? on: April 13, 2020, 11:23:25 PM
I've had been into forex for around 12 years and to what I've used scalping as, I'd say that scalping means a 5-10 minutes trade where you need to either book profits or losses, but during that timeframe only. You can set a trailing profit which will then adjust itself once you hit the minimum pips (points) decided by you and indicated in the bot.
If your targets are time driven means you may enter at any price levels to buy or sell according to your mood? I mean as per your strategy you to close your trade in 5 minutes regardless of that you are into profits or losses or neutral then why you need to bother about where to open a trade? I guess you can open at any price levels blindly and you may close just after 5 minutes. Now, scalping sounds like more interesting to me. Because, this is how I do gamble with dices Wink.

It is what I said it is, and rules are rules which is why you need not to be biased when choosing a direction for your trade while scalping because if you do, you may incur more losses than profiting through it. Like, if you make around 2-5% in a trade and you lose more than that consecutively for 3-5 trades, then you need to look for your decisions and either decide based on what you've learnt through them later on or just stop scalping completely as it's not for you. Wink
1637  Economy / Speculation / Re: [NEWS] Former Bakkt CEO to Sell All Holdings After Insider Trading Accusations on: April 13, 2020, 07:42:50 PM
The biggest bullshit is in their words itself where they relate their ways of tackling Coronavirus to dumping their holdings in BTC. After being accused of their wrongdoings, these guys are on their way towards doing more bad to the economy with their huge stock that they've piled up till date. I told this every single time that more of us will definitely see the Corona pandemic as an opportunity to make money by dumping more money.
1638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Scalping? on: April 13, 2020, 07:13:05 PM

You need to use an ECN account or an account with the least spread among major currency pairs to take advantage of scalping.
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: April 07, 2020, 11:53:49 PM
Does BTC really need any support? It proved itself by coming out as pure gold, even better than Gold. BTC had nearly done 2x today itself since its low this year and can outperform many more stocks and assets in the near future. Just think that what will happen if Governments from all around the world start regulating BTC completely and the price of BTC is around 1 million? What if 100k BTC will get stolen from a big whale's address? 100,000 BTC * 1,000,000 = $100 billion loss. Will any Government be able to take a step forward and compensate the victims through their QE programs or any other sources? They just can print money against crypto losses, they won't do that ever.
1640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc:Could we expect a bigger push -up? on: April 07, 2020, 11:40:17 PM
I exactly thought the way you did, but these are weekly charts and each timeframe defines a new story every moment we see them. To my understanding, this scenario looks like it'll recover slowly and will catch up some speed where some huge greens can also be painted by market makers by pulling the orders higher and higher. $8648 looks an important point to be broken above, and $9000 then after. But I'd rather expect BTC to remain sideways near $7550 and just get a Doji on the charts.
