Have you felt like being betrayed by the ASIC manufacturers lately? You are not alone. We all feel the same way. We, as home miners, popularized bitcoins through our supports and utilization. It was written in stones that ASIC manufacturers produce the machine and we as home miners use them to mine. It used to be a sin for the manufacturer to mine and compete with us.
Now the unwritten laws are broken. ASIC manufacturers are plainly setting up data centers to mine. They are directly competing with us, the backbone of ASIC supporters. They are betraying us. I hope this will lead to the collapse of btc and the eventual death of the ASIC manufacturers.
I hope we as home miners will just dump bitcoins and let it collapse.
Welcome to capitalism. And capitalism will dictate that they will crash the price, and they will all go bankrupt, except for very few very big and smart people, and the rest of us who mine for fun/profit/heat/passion that,s capitalism, just look up rockafeller and what he did to the oil industry. its going to be a rough ride

For example, if I mislead someone into sending me a large amount of bitcoins (in the United States) would that be illegal?
If I did not force them to do anything, but they sent them anticipating me to send a product in return, but I never send it.
Would this be considered illegal considering no one would know whether the bitcoin address that received the bitcoins was my address?
You engage with a written or verbal contract to exchange goods, either for money, or goods. you break that contract, you are subject to being sued in court. and you will lose. illegal? hmmm dont know, maybe criminal code would apply as stealing, but in the very least that's breach of contract under business law and you will get your ass handed to you.

Hi Folks,
Ive been a lurker here for a few months and just started trading. Whilst I have picked up some knowledge I'm still a newbie so what I say is personal speculation.
Aside from all the various shennanigans that happen around these crypto currencies the one conclusion i have come to is all alt coins except for Bitcoin are there simply to increase your BTC holdings. Very long-term investment is not what I should be thinking, but waiting for rises and dips. BTC owners needed something to trade, make and lose btc, right?
Im just not sure about these many hundreds of alt coins purpose other than that. Am I wrong?
well, all altcoins including btc are you know, worthless in some sense. A lot of coins were created at first for faster transaction times, then for specific games/causes, then for fun (doge lets say), some for anonymity, etc. Then btc hit its huge bubble and people started trading these altcoins a lot, some went 1000x in value, even more. Seeing this, greedy neckbeards started creating total shit coins and they flooded the market since then with shitcoin, after shitcoin, after shitcoin. But that's life. I wish the neckbeards didnt do it, but they did. Then they came up with different forms of making coins, POS, hybrids, etc. After that, well, different forms of mining coins, as you can see on coinwarz we are far from sha and scrypt now. (all this is in no particular order of events). Much evolving in the crypto world, it is a wild west, and I like it like that. Be careful with exchanges, and other than that have fun. research how many coins there are, how many are created, buy low sell high. in the very long term all coins go to zero in my opinion, and innovation replaces them. My worst >trade<...sortof...was mining Magic Internet Money. that shit was funny as hell. had a lot of fun making it rain on people and giving it out, i mined millions upon millions with 1mh/s scrypt and it is now worth less than zero. meh, had fun, would do it again.

Let me guess, you noobs think " why buy btc when you can mine for free ? ". Just spend $1.5k on a computer, and get btc forever right?
Awesome, keep buying.
After calculation. If the output is bigger than input, Why not? I would love to see your "calculation" LOL Here is one variable you noobs never get : manufacturers can/will/do outmine you. But nope, you still use your dumb "percentile" anyway. HELLO MASTER NOOB, COMMANDER OF NOOB ARMIES Here is one variable you will never get, why pay to heat your house when you can mine to do it? WINTER IS COMING AND ITS FUCKING COLD. If you live in a warm climate, then bitcoin mining may not be for you. 99% of people actually buy heaters for the basement, garage, house, etcetcetc. For the same price or a little more, ill buy a miner and heat my house. win-win-win-win.

Speaking of silence, when are you going to answer the question about what you are doing with all of the other alt coins you are mining at the moment? Will they be sold and distributed or kept for yourself? After all, every con needs a take.
Already replied multiple times. The PoM "unnecessary" hashrate is contributing, partially, to the reserve increase, ensuring that #midascoin value will increase too. Thanks for your sustain lol there is no spoon

No haha. This is not the first time something like this has been introduced.
To my knowledge these sort of "virtual wallets" where available for a long time, with not real impact on bitcoin or altcoins...
I was in japan and this is very common. It has been common for the past 15 years I think

Hi, my sisters TSB bank account was suspended for buying 2 btc worth a bit over £600. I asked her to buy it for me and I sent the money from my paypal (using my debit card) to her paypal and she withdrawed it to her bank account. I did this because I don't have online banking and the banks were closed at the time to make a cash deposit into her account. However, when buying 2 btc off a seller on localbitcoins her bank suspended her bank account and asked her to come in to one of the TSB branches with my statement showing them that I sent her a bit over £600 via PayPal. But they didn't accept the statement because it was printed off from a machine in branch and they wanted an official stamped one. So now I have to go to her bank with her and bring my stamped statement from my bank and a photo id (I'm under 18). But the question I want to ask is, will her bank account be closed for buying 2 btc? (the payment for the 2 btc was declined anyway by the bank, probably because she normally doesn't use that account much). Thanks
just give them what they need, be really nice to them and it should be okay dude. how could you possibly know that doing this and that to obtain bitcoin was a red flag for the bank? i'm sure they won't close the account

Cool coin dude! I don't know about your minimum garantee though, because if everyone wants out...then you know what happens but its a good experiment! So we just use plain ol cgminer for scrypt to mine this? or is there something i need to do?
