wow this is really coming along good.  Does anyone have specific settings for .bat file or config, for example, for rx models, or fury, etc, like xintensity and what not.  trying to figure out whats best, but I get a lot of HW errors (for eth).  Also with an rx 470 for example, I get 2mhs under claymore 7.4.  As soon as I get it working right I'll put a nice post for you on my website.  All the noobs go with claymore, but with good explanation and example .bat files that works perfect, they'll flock to gateless gate.

Ok well a bit of an update !  Site is going well, good feedback.  Comments don't always show up on the website because I have to manually approve them due to the incredible amounts of spam (lol).  So sorry if your comments dont show up right away.  Send me a PM or an email if you need some help or something.

So the main money maker for the site is referrals (and google adsense).  We are talking dozens of dollars people, dozens !  ด็้็้็้็้็้༼◉Д◉༽ด็้็้็้็้็้   Since this project is for fun and education, its all good to me.  And since I am true to my word, we shall have our first giveaway/contest within one month !  If you have any ideas on what you would like then please reply.  I was thinking, a diff guessing game, or a USB riser giveaway, etc.  Prizes won't be too crazy guys, i mean, dozens of dollars and all !  But, if you keep clicking on those referral links when you buy your stuff, then it pretty much all goes in the giveaway fund.

Big shoutout the person who bought some GPU's through my referral link !  Thank you good sir.

quick question on the dashboard !  On ZEC everything works, you see for example 0.1% stales, errors, etc.  But for ETH every worker has 0.0% in each column.  Just wondering if thats normal, stats are fun Smiley
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 on: January 17, 2017, 03:16:35 AM
just for shitz and gigglez.. I've tried this on a couple older cards that are watercooled.  basically they're just cats warmers
AMD 5850 ~160-170 H/s (AMD... cause does anyone really remembers who ATI was?)

next will be a couple 6950, a 6970, and then maybe a couple 5970.

hehehe I had a 5870, awesome card.  I remember mining blake with it...xvc i think.  check it out it may be better than monero
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 16, 2017, 09:31:30 PM
Has anyone found a reliable bios mod for the Sapphire rx 480 8g cards that reduces power but keeps the h/s rate respectable?  Most of what I have found on forums have been unstable.  I have 4 rigs with 6x Sapphire 8g 480's that each run at around 1200w (and I have a 1300w psu) and 11.5A  and deliver 260 H/s on each card with the stock bios and I am having to reduce their intensity each time the mining software speeds the mining up or the whole platform shuts down due to exceeding power limits.  I have played with different power tools such as Watttool (Wattman is useless for multiple cards and settings in Claymore just freeze my systems) but I am a bit of an inexperienced computer user so I am not sure what to try and I don't want to damage my systems.  I have read every page of this forum as I have worked through all the same issues with Open CL and cards not being recognized, and I appreciate the degree this forum supplies ideas and methods to help others work through their issues.  So I am asking my first question around suggested settings in Watt tool or perhaps even a stable and capable bios mod that keeps power down while not giving up on the current performance, if possible.  Any help is appreciated.

why not just download MSI afterburner, and bring voltage down to about -75mv to start off, see if its stable.  1200w is too much !  By undervolting you'll get a lot of power savings.

Forgot to say I'm pretty sure the amd rewards site gives you a steam game key code.

Hi all,

This game came with Rx 470 promo, see link here :  https://www.amdrewards.com/amdrewards/files/AMDRewards-Hitman-RX470_terms_and_conditions.pdf

I have 2 game codes.  You have to sign up at AMD rewards to use the code.  When you sign up the first time, you have to wait 24 hours to activate a code (dumb I know, but it is what it is).

I'm selling the 2 codes, because I had already bought the game.  Its a lot of fun.  Unrelated game review:  awesome, but for some dumb reason square enix decided that you have to be "always online" to play...although you can play in offline mode, dont ask me how I havent done it.

1412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A difinitive test of 4 major ZEC pools for profits and uptime on: January 14, 2017, 02:04:45 PM
this is an awesome project.  Dont need API skillz, maybe report findings every week.  Of course there is a lot of variability, but its still useful.  I'd like to see other pools too !  Any volunteers to put one GPU on a pool, and report earnings ?  I could put those up in a website, I had a project like this in mind, cryptopools.online (nothing is there yet), but didnt have enough gpu's/time to do it.
1413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 Fury vs EVGA G2 1600w on: January 14, 2017, 01:54:59 PM
yeah a fury is about 200w without doing anything special to it.  You can get that down to 150w or lower, people put 900mhz/500 and undervolt to the max.  I think you can flash any fiji (nano) bios on it to undervolt -150, -175mv but dont take my word for it.  I have one, but I dont undervolt it that much because honestly, I play games with it when its not mining. (main computer).

edit:  Hey philipma1957, hows it going?  A bit off thread (ok a lot), but check out my website in my signature (its made to help noobs and have news on mining software/hardware).  I was thinking...if you were interested in re-viving the diff guessing contest you had (which was a lot of fun) ?  I'm not making any money with the website, but with the ads and referrals amazon and newegg it makes a couple of bucks (literally) I could take that money and sponsor the thread.  maybe once a month.  Maybe have others sponsor it too, like pandaminer or something.  just thinking out loud.

1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 13, 2017, 01:21:20 PM
or just go system - environment variables - and delete the setx entries you put in.  next time just put set
1415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 13, 2017, 12:49:12 AM
Does "-asm" override "-a"

For example if "-asm 1" works do I need to specify "-a 2"

bump

-asm and -a are different things
read the read me file ,,,,

clay said if you do turn off -asm then it auto to -a 3
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 11, 2017, 11:13:35 PM
ok clay, tried that, works.  I have 16.11.4.  guess its the drivers, I wont downgrade the drivers, maybe someone else can try, my only fury is on my main gaming computer.  rest of the cards work fine other than this fury.  works but speed = 360 vs 390 v10
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 11, 2017, 11:07:24 PM
280x - about 12.5 % better speeds
390 - about 4%
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 11, 2017, 10:59:15 PM
yeah fury doesnt work properly.  Can only do algo 1, and no asm, which results in slower speeds than v10.  any other options gets 0 h/s
1419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 11, 2017, 09:45:47 PM
