Well, now that is a good post.  I also compare payouts, simply set one rig, or one gpu, to a pool, and another to a different one, etc.  of course with pplns pools there is variance...luck is a big factor.  anyways, why dont you post your results.  for the hardware errors when you top up memory clock, well keep in mind, if you bring hashrate up 10%, and get 0.1% memory errors...then its still worth while.  Plus power consumption doesnt really go up much.  You can easily see these with claymore.  the memory error thingy in HWinfo doesnt really mean much to be honest.  see stilt threads on other forum about that.

you are welcome, fury's are really awesome cards.  if you guys arent watching live, there is the vega thing from amd right now...although they havent talked about vega yet Sad
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.2 (Windows/Linux) on: February 28, 2017, 01:42:08 PM
coinotron has zec mining, try it out.  put one gpu on each pool for a week and calculate daily rewards.  keep in mind pool luck varies...

well a fury gets 30.5 and 600mhs, which is good.  470 gets 27mhs and 270mhs.  unfortunately, power consumption is through the roofffffffffffffffffffff

I wrote a small piece on it, see my website if you want.
How are you getting 30.5 MH/s ETH + 600 H/s PASC? I just got two Fury's and I'm not getting close to that with 15.12 drivers.

sapphire nitro fury, clock @ 1100, -100mv.  You should mod it to be -150mv or more (test it out), plus bring the memory clock to 400 or even 300.  I just have one, its on my gaming computer and so it mines during the night.  I'm actually mining zec with it.  dual mining uses too much electricity, its too hot in my room Sad  drivers are 16.6 or 16.11.x or something like that cant remember.  I have a 470 that mines on that computer too.  maybe try with 16.3.2 drivers, i think thats the best.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 27, 2017, 10:29:41 PM
My 280X does dual mining with 14.3 Mh/s @ETH with -dcri 30 set for PASCAL- no loss on ETH with PASCAL. My RX 480 8GB run best on ETH without dual mining. It is probably because the older card has a wider memory bus.

mine something else, expanse, or other ethash with the 280x.  you'll get full speed.  i didnt compare profitability though.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: February 26, 2017, 05:47:54 PM
maybe your port isnt open, check that.  Just tried 20535 allpools 1 and esm3, works well.

question which has probably been asked before.....help/faq is outdated...and instructions on claymore thread is conflicting to say the least....so what -esm should we use ?
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 24, 2017, 02:00:05 PM
On my low power bios modded RX 470 4GB cards, the best setting is DCRI 17/18
I get ETH 26 and PASC 240 per card, each card drawing about 105W at the wall.

What kind of RX470 do u have ?
what kind of low power bios are u using ?

thx

I am pretty sure its not 105W at the wall while dual mining. He is most likely looking at his GPU-z wattage. I think it uses 150W or so.

Armor 470, voltage at 0.881v, 1125/2000 lazy custom straps, dcri 16, 28.3hs/225mhs.  On the APC I get 110w Eth only, and 130w eth+pascal.  If I reduce to 1050 core clock I guess power consumption can go down a little bit.  So it shoes 79watts on gpu-z, which means +30w and +50w for pascal.

Higer than ETH dcr ?

actually if I remember well, DCR was setting the roof on fire, pascal is below I think.  On a RX470, adding Pascal to ETH ads 25 to 30w more at the wall.

press "S" and see if you have any invalid shares.  oh wait you cant see that in zec
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.4 (Windows/Linux) on: February 20, 2017, 11:58:02 PM
anybody got hashrates for UBIQ or expanse ? with 280x or similar cards vs eth.  Just curious, for the above guy with a 280x, might be better on ZEC

1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hacked Modified Memory Strap BIOS Database for ZEC MINING! on: February 17, 2017, 01:52:11 PM
I've only seen windows versions sorry i dont know if its available for linux.  So I lowered clock speeds to 1000 in VBE7, which worked.  If i change the clocks without touching the voltage, i'm good.  If i just touch the voltage something happens to the rom and the card refuses to change state to go to higher clocks.  really weird. I'd love to try lower voltage, like 1.025v but im stumped.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 17, 2017, 01:42:16 PM
for the incorrect data thingy, I had the same problem with 280x but at i -2 it seems to be good.  One card is good at -3.  So lower i it should work.

same here...got the email.  they have a user database that is certain.  maybe user login files or something.  maybe they dont have accounts.  I would like to claim my 10 000 000 ether pls pls
edit: i withdrew long before shtf at cryptsy

sup coinotron Smiley  I'm having trouble with connecting to the SSL 3347.  I did some changes on my rigs, so I guess I had a lot of disconnect/reconnect for a day or two.  Then after I cant connect to the ssl port, so i've switched them all to the normal one, which works fine.  Maybe i'm blacklisted or something ?  This is for ZEC.  Thanks for helping out Smiley  Using Claymore v12.

edit: its fixed, thanks coinotron much appreciated  Grin
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hacked Modified Memory Strap BIOS Database for ZEC MINING! on: February 16, 2017, 02:08:19 AM
well for some closure i managed to flash another bios on there.  runs at 1100 but voltage is still 1.256.  anything else doesnt work.  still scratching my head on why i cant flash any bios modified with vbe7 and have it run like it should.
edit:  I gave up and got myself a beer Smiley  Just flashed the 280x on the first page for hynix afr and we are good at 1.075v.  The difference in heat is crazy.  Anyways thanks for putting those up.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hacked Modified Memory Strap BIOS Database for ZEC MINING! on: February 15, 2017, 09:19:09 PM
The VBE photo you posted above looks correct. Where are you having the issue where it goes to 0.90V and 500Mhz?
well I boot up normally, and It hashes at 40sols with core clock 300 or 500 i forget, and voltage is 0.95v fixed.  I did save my original bios using atiwinflash 2.74...that might be it Sad  when I modify a copy / load them up in VBE I get the uefi warning.  confused here  Huh    anyways, if anyone has a toxic/tri-x OC e251 hynix AFR bios please send me a copy to try Smiley  Although my card hashes fine right now, at 300sols almost.  Its just the power issue.  not a big deal, I only have 1.

edit for clarity:  current bios works fine.  if i modify flash anything else, does not work fine.
