Maybe we should make a " "bitcoin faucet"-list "-list
I already provided them in some previous 'new' topics on faucets, but that somehow doesn't help. We have almost everyday a new topic on faucets. It can actually only confuse any interested newbie, rather than help. I agree that it just confuses newbies. At this point in time, I really think faucets hurt the community more than they help.

I always wanted to mine but never had enough resource. Over month, I have gathered around 0.11 BTC from faucets and twitter giveaways, with which I want to buy hash power. The cheapest one I see around is offered by www.cloudmining.website, which is 0.001 BTC/GHs. But, before I invest, I'd like to know what people want to say about their experience about this service. As it seems, at current difficulty, I should reach ROI at 4 month. Please advise... I currently have invested in cloudminr myself, on target for ROI for about 12-14 weeks (varies), but i always advise new people to think of it as a gamble, only invest what you can afford to lose. Golden Advice. Same applies for www.CloudMining.website. They are giving ROI within 114 days... Source: http://www.cmmonitor.com/24-cloudmining-website.htmlYou are saying that give that in 114 days, but that is past performance. As the difficulty increases gradually, this period will change drastically. It could now be 300 days or never even.

Pretty sure to run a real bitcoin mixer you would have to create an amazing piece of software. I am talking .onion access site and a well thought out fully automatic algorithm.
There are several services that would work perfectly for you: e.g. bitonic.nl or coinimal.com

There is no such thing as a safe investment. Not even in "reallife" environment, so it will hardly be possible in the nearly fully anonymous BTC world.
Best thing would be to just hold your coins, and if you must "gamble" invest into a gambling site bankroll.

If you switch to a linux system, please try to understand everything before risking any coins on it!

Recently I've been trying to grow my bitcoins. What can I do with them once they're in my blockchain. Can I simply transfer on to a paypal? Also if I kept my coins, will the value change once bitcoin overall changes? That means if bitcoin dropped, will the amount I've invested drop as well? Thxx BTCIn your blockchain? Do you mean blockchain.info wallet? There is no BTC-> PayPal transaction, but you could potentionally trade in person for USD there.

I would wait for BTC price to drop slightly and then invest 2k into Bitcoin
This is what i would do i can see bitcoin 220-230 in the next few weeks for a few weeks so it would be a good time to get in anytime close to that and you have bigger reward but obviously bigger risk involved You can short 280-->230 USD to make some extra money, if yo have such a good grasp on the price.

How about some more information?
Feedback would also be appreciated.
Why don't you just buy a mixture of both?
50% in BTC and GOLD will have a better risk/reward than any of the individual ones alone.

How is it that every cash trade must be related to something criminal going on? How exactly do such stings work?
How do you manage to not get your SKRILL account or PAYPAL account banned? They are pretty strict about their policies normally.

So whats the verdict ? Why did they cancel the orders and don't allow buying BTC ? I still don't get it, didn't they provide an explanation on how to fix this ?
The verdict is that they cancelled the orders for no reason and refunded the money after holding it for a week. I am pretty sure they didn't cancel those orders to profit from the exchange rate difference. There must be some kind of deeper reason behind this?

Antonopoulos is out of his mind suggesting the current hashing power of the network is enough to secure a $1T Bitcoin market cap
The problem is that the current hashing power might not even be enough to support the current network. This is not an issue of a too little hashing power, but a flawed way of securing the network. Seperation of maintainance and usage is not the best idea tbh.

We should use bitcoin, amazing store of value for the average joe. This chart is highly missleading. Why did you choose such an arbitrary zoom? It is like you are implying that all people bought at exactly 900 USD.

One quick question: Do the language boards count?
Can someone please explain why the initial block processing continues to be so slow with NXT NRS? ...as opposed to FIM NRS for example... Initial == after NRS upgrade? In 1.3.x initial processing is much slower for sure, as disk-based database is used in contrast with in-memory collections in versions < 1.3.0. But NRS relaunching is much faster, as no blockchain rescan needed I guess FIMK code is still based on NRS v. < 1.3.0 ? Yes.
