221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bep20 token sent to ERC20 address. Can recover? on: June 01, 2021, 09:45:14 AM
In here we see the clear consequences of not having enough knowledge about what you do, specially in this industry. I hope that guy you know learns from this well and does his best in the future to avoid the same mistake or anything of the sort. I say this because it is highly impossible for that guy as of this moment to get back those assets since the two are entirely different networks and I highly doubt that support team/personnel would give that much attention to such problems since it clearly is an outcome of your guy's carelessness. Just tell him not to throw away the keys though because who knows? Maybe in the coming months or years, they may do something about this.

223  Economy / Economics / Re: The Modern Mode of Payments on: May 08, 2021, 07:02:43 PM

FIAT (Coins) --->  Electronic Money (Gcash, Paymaya, Paypal, etc...) ---> Digital Currency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, BCH, XRP, etc...)

Due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus in different countries, people have become aware that many viruses can be obtained from fiat money. That's why in our Country suddenly dropped the percentage of users of fiat money especially coins. And because of locked downs, people are just stay at home. So, they start their works online and also making transactions online, buying and selling online and instead of paying a cash money, they use electronic money for payments or even sending money for their love ones. Also, through this pandemic many people start using cryptocurrency where they can earn money as another source of income. So, making transactions outside is really difficult nowadays, but because we have a lot of modern types of mode of payments, no need to worry about that. We can make transaction easily just by using your phone, computer and other gadgets, with fast transaction, safe and hassle free because you just make transactions while stay at home, and away from VIRUSES. From Fiat money, we use electronic money and now digital currency is available to be used anytime. If we have friends who don’t know about digital currency, we can help them understand and learn about it so that they can use it as well and at the same time we can help the demand of bitcoin and other digital currencies to increase.

First of all, from whichever country you are from, fiat does not pose that much of a threat in soreading viruses such as covid-19. At keast not so much that it would reach a point in where people would be afraid to use fiat. And even if so, first thing they would go to will be e-money which are some of what you have mentioned above. But in daily basis, e-money inside a thing we call CREDIT CARDS are to be the best and most common choice of the masses. Butcoin and all, doesn't have anything to do with it. Using it as a mode of payment in any part of the world would be a hassle since it is not adooted quite well by enough people for it to be used as a mode of payment.
I am all in on influencing friends and families to get into this industry for them to earn also in investing but I would have to make sure then that I give them proper introductions about this industry before draghing them in since it may result in them losing money intead of gaining. And that is what everyone should consider first before dragging anyone into this industry.
224  Other / Politics & Society / Re: India records another 3,980 convid-19 death in one day on: May 08, 2021, 06:40:38 PM
I really feel bad for India right now. But the only one to blame are themselves for this huge numbers of infected people. Had the people been more patient and remained vigilant in following health protocols and other preventive measures, things would not have gotten this worse. But instead, they were allowing mass gatherings of huge numbers in almost every place in India if not all. Even to this day, there are still people too stuborn to follow the health protocols even with the huge threat of the covid-19 second wave. I just hope this gets fixed by the government and that more countries would reach out a helping hand to fhe pitiful citizens of India.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the rise: Sell or HODL? on: May 08, 2021, 06:24:27 PM
Holding would he the best option for now. I see a good few days coming for ethereum as these dogecoin dudes exit and transfer to much stable coins such as btc and ethereum. As of now, ethereum overcame $3700k resistance which is quite a good sign for a shoot up movement in the next few days with minimal correction every now and then. And let us say that ethereum never does rise that much in the shirt term, I see it reaching 10k in 3rd-4th quarter of this year or maybe more. As of this moment I am slowly stacking up ethereum but by bit. Don't get left behind.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MARA Pool mined its first 'clean' block today on: May 08, 2021, 06:03:47 PM
I honestly thik that this will pose as a huge problem for us because with this the governments can monitor every transaction if this really gets adopted by most of the miners. Bitcoin will surely die with the full implementation of this since a lot would gkadly transfer their funds on the second best altcoin that isnt governed by the government with the use of these tyoe of miners. I just hope that miners would speak up about this and not accept it since it is very unfair for the people who transferred to this industry to escaoe the traditional system in the first place.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you heard about Bitcoin vs. When you first used Bitcoin on: May 07, 2021, 05:39:19 PM
How long did it take you to jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon?

I first heard about Bitcoin in 2009
I first used Bitcoin in 2013

Took me 4 years!

What about you?

Well, I heard about Bitcoin in the late 2011 and I remember how fascinated I was about it. The sad thing though is that when I was bored and read random stuff on the deepweb, I saw it being used by criminals quite often which was a big turn off at the moment. Had I known better I would've read more about it instead of seeing it as a criminal's money and believing what others perceive it to be. And so, fast forward, I only was able to engage in this industry on year 2016 when pumps were going on. kinda sad being late specially now that bitcoin and this industry has come this far.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: May 07, 2021, 05:01:49 PM
Well it's quite unquestionable how great of an exchange binane is which is why it became so famous in this industry. And thus, in a bullish market, it is obviously bound to go up in price a lot. And if this bullish market really does go on, I think BNB can really make it to 1k. But if not, a huge dump will happen. Solely for the reason that it has no other utility than being a coin of a famous exchange. And compared to other stable coins that actually have great features and utility, I am pretty sure investors whould choose these coins instead of BNB for a long term investment.
229  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] Do vaccines kill people? on: May 07, 2021, 04:37:26 PM
Deaths are bound to happen when a vaccine is made in a hurry and is still on the early stages. People responsible may deny it but it is pretty clear that these vaccines were half baked. The good news though, is that this pandemic has been long enough and have made a lot of test subjects for these vaccines which is why the rate of the people who are dying because of the vaccines or are connected to the vaccination shots have reduced. It is a risk but something that desperate people are willing to take specially if you are a frontliner or have people you care about, getting vaccinated is just unavoidable. Good thing there are quite a few choices available for people who want to be vaccinated. I just don't know if such choices are available anywhere in the world.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Is Political, Not Technical on: May 07, 2021, 04:11:04 PM
We really are trapoed in this type of society where societal standards matter and because of this, greed is never ending. Even when money hasn't been around yet, people have been already greedy and want much more for themselves. Too much I's instead of we's. There is no solution for something like this and this is something that one just has to live with and be smart about riding its waves. Because if you go against it, you will be the loser in the end. The only way this can change is for people to change in unison and not one by one. Only then can there be changes. But that is something that's very unlikely to happen. So a better realistic approach in my opinion is again, learn to live with what is already there and ride the tides intelligently. Not a very good approach for people who are strong willed or wants freedom from this system but it is the only way to survive along with the people you care about or rely on you. Morals and freedom nowadays don't amount to much. So be smart and choose wisely what your next moves will be.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charlie Munger hating on bitcoin on: May 06, 2021, 03:02:33 PM
The guy clearly is insecure and feels left out. How many people like this have we seen so far in all the years that bitcoin existed? Uncountable. Obviously, this guy is just one of those people and will, like the others, eat his words and jump into the bitcoin boat instead. He may even be already invested in bitcoin or in other cryptos. But egardless, people like this would be better off being ignored they'll end up learning from their self righteousness one way or another after they humiliate themselves with all the crao they talk about. Don't give the attention he seeks.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with DOGECOIN, there's a lot of hype on it. on: May 06, 2021, 01:39:44 PM
I agree with this a 100 percent. The way it is going right now, it won't take long before it goes through a massive drop in price. This coin is now running on the hands of the top holders and the words of Elon Musk. A few of those things goes wrong, then it's goodbye profits and hello massive losses. A joke of a coin will always be a joke of a coin. Unless it is improved by the developers themselves, and I believe that is very possible for them to do. But till then, dogecoin will remain the same in my eyes. A joke of a coin and a temporal profitable ride.
233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another youngest crypto billionaire on the list on: May 06, 2021, 12:49:20 PM
This was bound to happen to anyone who were holding large amounts of credible coins. So it really isn't that shocking anymore due to its predictability. I reckon that we'd be able to see more people getting added to the list as the bull market continues. The only thing that nobody could have predicted was the huge price surge of doge coin. Man, I never really thought a crypto joke could amount to this much. I really feel bad right now for the other altcoins out there that really have good utility or can really contribute to the community and the world as a whole. Damn musk. Haha
234  Economy / Economics / Re: Could the digital Euro, Dollar or Yuan bank the unbanked? on: May 06, 2021, 11:11:04 AM
I agree to the thought of people being more capable in money management or at least in a digital sense that isn't only about cryptocurrencies alone. But the problem about this is that being knowledgeable about digital assets and ways to keep them are quite difficult specially for the less fortunate ones who cannot access the internet or devices that are capable of doing so. Another problem is that to be able to actually avail of these modern money management services as mentioned, you need to actually have the money to manage and use. And that is the problem with the idea. We can only proceed with this idea if we can deliver knowledge to the less fortunate and traditional people and alleviate money problems that are caused by unemploymen. If this gets done step by step I bekieve that the economy of any country can and will really flourish.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Stocks on: May 01, 2021, 04:44:21 PM
Honestly, I prefer both than choosing just 1. Primarily because they both have good traits and of course share a lot of bad traits as well. At the end of the day, a person should only choose whee he is more comfortable with than forcing himself to folkow others just because they see it is more beneficial (for them maybe). But the thing is, we all are different in many ways which makes it possible for one thing to be working great for one and not for the other. Just focus on what you ae used to or do both if you want. There is no wrong or right. Let profits show you the way Smiley)
236  Other / Politics & Society / Re: “Vaccidents” now wrecking roadways with stroked-out vaccine takers who lose... on: May 01, 2021, 04:14:12 PM

Also what I have noticed I even saw another guy from another thread call out the OP being against the vaccines or something (I forgot the term he used). The vaccines being developed for covid-19 have been developed in a rush. This is why there may be some errors here and there but most are minimal. But one vaccine I can really recommend is Pfizer BioNTech. I don't know about the availability of this vaccine anywhere else in the world but if it is present, I think people should choose this instead just to be sure. Now with this guy, I really think he is against vaccines and maybe is one of those people that says covid-19 is just a joke and not real. I think it is very unhealthy spreading such thoughts since it may lead to having more people persuaded by this thought and cause this pandemic to be even worse than it already is.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Honest opinion poll about the potential of NFT on: May 01, 2021, 03:53:22 PM
Voted for nft continuing to exist. But even though I voted for nft, I personally think that it is being over hyped right now. The concept behind nft is not that amazing but still far better than most of other altcoins out there which is why I think even when the bubble pops, it'll later on stabilize and survive even in the bear market since a lot of people are already interested with the concept behind nft. Might even jump in myself if an opportunity arises.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL vs Staking, What is the best strategy? on: May 01, 2021, 03:37:44 PM
I myself, never heard of anything regarding things like bitcoin staking let alone a platform that offers such service for bitcoins. But if you mean alts, then there are quite a few out there which are quite good. Staking will always win if you make people choose since you gain a lot more with staking than by just hodling. But still, it depends on the platform and the coin itself that you are staking which is why a thorough research about your investments or investment plans is a must. Good luck op.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: April 30, 2021, 05:43:37 PM
Of course they can depending on their coin's utility and the community behind them. If a coin is from a great project that have real world use case and can help make lives of many more easier, then the more so that they can compete. Just because they're old, doesn't mean they become ueles or cannot be subjected to improvements. You just have to read more and kearn more about which us better from one coin to another there is no shortcut in making good investments.
240  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Did you take the vaccine? tell us what happend? on: April 30, 2021, 05:10:56 PM
Stop being such a damn pussy and take the god damned vaccine shots. You do not even know how to appreciate the privilege of having such luxury of being able to get vaccinated for free. In some places in the world people would be willing to pay hyge amounts of money just to he vaccinated, some would even kill. Do not waste such opportunity. Go get vaccinated. If not for you, then at keast for the people around you which are you friends and your family. Sorry for the harsh words but some things really need to be said to make a point. Having anxieties are never easy but it doesn't mean you can compromise the safety of the people around you just because of some rumors and letting yourself a lack vital information.
