841  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New user bitcoin !? on: October 28, 2017, 03:16:34 PM
As a new user, can I start using Bitcoin without having to understand the technical details?

Technically speaking, you can.
But the thing is, that would be the dumbest investment that an investor can ever do. To not understand the thing that he or she is investing his or ger money at.
I believe that one should understand butcoins thoroughly to gain or maximize any profit. And i thnk that goes for every investment. Because without understanding of what you are doing, you cannot give your best. Which in return won't let you recieve what's best. So I suggest you study about bitcoins first if not the whole crypto world, so you know what you are getting yourself into and not have regrets in the future.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INCREASING AMOUNT OF ICO(S) on: October 26, 2017, 09:11:10 PM
Going up on coinmarketcap and reading stats about cryptos will reveal that there a lot of cryptos in the market and most of them are not even known and one surprising stuff is that more and more coins are being created everyday, and there is the new coin(electroneum) which seems more like a refurbished Ponzi scheme(that's what I think about it though) isn't there a way for the springing up of new cryptos to be controlled as it seems like bitcoin is the controller of all the cryptos because once BTC starts to drop all the others follow the trend.

As much as i hate it, i really don't think anyone can do anything to stop these ICOs that come out of nowhere. Really pisses me off. Specially tose too obvious scams that are clearly effortless in the making. And those coins that are driven by having profit alone. This just irritates me to be honest. But sadky, as what i have said, we cannot do anything to stop it,  so better ride along with it and take as much as we can from all of these ICOs and learn to watch our own backs.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GO AHEAD.... STEAL MY SEED!! on: October 26, 2017, 02:37:54 AM
Lol. Was i really the only one who thought the op was gonna give a big contest for thieves and techy people with some big big prices? Something like try to  hack into anything i own to find my seed and get the contents of my wallet which is worth, i don't know, like  a hundred btc or more as your prize. Lol

But seriously though, that's a pretty nice move you did there -Buying a hardware wallet. Which is great for adding security.
The thing is, nothing's for sure in life. So i think you should've just kept your mouth shut about that. You might  offend an ego of a hacker and lose your possesions. Having a hard wallet does not guve you invulnerability from hackers.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre-ICO]Nousplatform - Platform for decentralized investment funds on: October 25, 2017, 05:37:16 AM
Great concept. Clearly, the road map was heavily thought through. This project really is something. And also, the video explanation was awesome. It's very informative and very easy to understand the important parts were explained greatly. Nice move.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE Fake BTG Wallets Flooding Market on: October 25, 2017, 12:00:36 AM
be careful, with all these fake google ads and other links promoting BTG Wallets

wait for a post by a trusted bitcointalk member

DONT WANT YOU TO LOOSE COINS

Yes a lot of faje wallets are really flooding the market taking advantage of all the newbiews wantung to get their fair share of bitcoingold coins that is why hackers do many things to hack and scam people by phising or anything else in the crypto world because they are lazy to work for anything thet want in this field and in this life.
846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country still not legalized bitcoin ? on: October 24, 2017, 11:58:24 PM
Possibly because it's not yet popular to that country.  Lawmakers are not paying attention to it because there's no relevant effect to it's economy yet. Here in the Philippines, there are only few people knew about cryptocurr, most does not even heard about it.  Thanks

Yes you are right. It is possible that they are not accepting Bitcoins because they are not familiar with it and do not have proper knowledge about the cyrrency. So most likely, they will be skeptikal about it. Plus the bad things that people say about bitcoins
The government will absolutely prohibit it.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: October 24, 2017, 06:49:56 PM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?

Well, you are right. Bitcoin is famous because it is the oldest of all crypto currencies ever made ij the crypto world. But for me,  the way i see it, bitclin is famous not just because of its age alone. It is so famous also because of its great history and the great vision and conceot of the developer. Which is satoshi.

Amd regarding the altcoins, there really are a lot of trashy coins and scams. But some of them are truly legitimate and wuite cool. You just have to know how to identify shitcoins or scams so that you never lose profits.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Japan Possibly ban ICO’s on: October 24, 2017, 06:35:10 PM
News coming out of Japan has it that authorities in that country are considering a ban on ICO’s. How would this Action impact on the prospect of Bitcoin and other cryptos globally.

Well, the way i see it, it isn't impossible to happen. Because every country has the authority to ban or to support bitcoins or any other crypto currencies out there.
But i think this is just a fud. Because it wouldn't be logical for japan to ban bitcoins. Specially now that a lot of its citizens are getting more and more aware of this currency and jumping into it. But maybe they will do something to be able to regulate these crypto currencies just to make sure that they will be able to avoid scam ICOs that may scam their citizens and rob them.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gold electrum wallet. on: October 24, 2017, 06:23:03 PM
I kept my btc at electrum. This morning i checked my wallet and there is no btg so i think electrum doesn't support btg Sad Does anyone has certain knowledge about this situation. Will we get btg or not?

Lol. Obviously, electrum does not support bitcoin gold.
If you really want to get your Bitcoin gold, then you have to transfer your btc somewhere secure(won't suggest any because i don't wanna be liable if you happen to lose your bitcoins due to carelessness), then export your private keys from the wallet you have before you transfered your bitcoins, then, get yourself a a TRUSTABLE wallet that happens to support bitcoingold,(still won't suggest anything), then import your private keys there.

Do this at your own risk.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion on: October 24, 2017, 06:06:19 PM
Im new in ICO and i`m planning to invest in it. I did my research and this is my top 3 choices for next month :

1. Raiden/Quantstamp - security

2. Utrust - payment

3. Gizer - gaming

What is your opinion about this 3 upcoming ICO ??

Great choices man. These coins are also on my list.
I selected these coins because they clearly have great potential. They have amazing concepts which really hooked me in.that is why i immediately made a brief research about the developing teams of these three ICOs and have seen positive results. Hoping these coins really achieve success together so we both get great profits. Lol
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: October 24, 2017, 05:50:55 PM
An initial coin offering is similar in concept to an initial public offering (IPO), both a process in which companies raise capital, while an ICO is an investment that gives the investor a cryptocoin, more commonly known as a coin or a token in return for investment, which is quite different to the issuance of securities as is the case in an IPO investment. Do you invest in ICO? and has you make money from it?

Yes i have made money from investing into ICOs. And will still be investing in promising ICOs out there. To be honest, i have an eye on some. But still studying their ann thread and their white papers. Of course, their developers are great. And if i ever happen to see a great potential, then i will invest. And most probably join their bounties. Only if their bounties. Are worthy of my investments.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the importance of HODLing - CMC 2016 vs 2017 on: October 24, 2017, 05:40:29 PM
Damn, should've HODL more or bought more when i cashed out. Damn it. I would've had a lot of profit if i decided to hidl more. Tss :/ hate this personality that wants to see profits fast. I decided to cashe out when i saw the aimed profit and traded some of the profit, while invested some on promising ICOs. And bought back with the capital i had. Tss.. oh well, profit is profit, at least i didn't lose my investment and made even a lot more investments.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: October 24, 2017, 05:31:18 PM
The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.  Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.

Yes. I still do believe in ICOs and will probably be still believing till my last day here ij this forum. Yes, there may be a lot of scam or worthless ICOs out there, but still, there are some that are really legitimate and have really great concepts that may be beneficial for the crypto world as a whole. You just have to be more wise in picking ICOs that you may want to invest in. Try to read first or research first about the developing team before proceeding to reading the anm thread or the white paper. That can save you some time and can make you sure of your every investment.
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about others altcoin than Bitcoin on: October 24, 2017, 04:43:47 PM
Hello again....since i want to know what is bitcoin for you...and what you think about anothers cryptocurrencies like ethereum, litecoin, dogecoin, eth classic, zcash, dashcoin, monero, golem and others...

Well, i love bitcoins. I love the history behind it. The story, the purpose. I honestly think it is the most amazing crypto currency to have ever existed. While on other crypto currencies, i also like a lot. But not as much as bitcoins. Yes most of these coins are only made out of greed and some these are even pointless efforts to scam people. But, still, i cannot say that i hate alternate crypto currencies. Because they actually do help bitcoin. And let's be honest here, most of us here in this forum have gotten a lot of profit from these alternative coins. So i think it's safe to say that i love altcoins but i love bitcoins the most.
855  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken disappointment on: October 24, 2017, 08:44:34 AM
Hello folks,
i would like to discuss with you this news from Kraken exchanger:

They posted 16h ago a twit stating they would NOT support BTC gold, then they changed their mind with another twit and then destroyed the plans of tons of people who deposited their BTC to them.
I've been using kraken for long time and it always seemed reliable, stable, with a good volume of transaction for BTC and altcoins, now they came out with this amazingly... stupid statement.
People now are going crazy and i guess in the next couple of hours many investors will move out of this exchanger for another one.
Right, it's not the end of the world for me because i had just some dust in there but this is not acceptable anymore (at least for me) and the statement "we might reconsider it later" it smell fishy, very fishy.
At this point i would like to ditch this exchanger and find a new one with some good volume of transaction to do some trading (keep in mind i don't own much), any advice will be appreciated!

Well that's sad. Lol.
Maybe they saw how trashy bitcoingold is that's why they refuse to support it.
But the strange thing is, why do they tend to always announce their decisions so late and at the time when they know that their customers wouldn't be able to get back their bitcoins and transfer them to exchanges supporting the forks? Lol.
Clearly there is something up with these exchanges. Haha. Oh well, glad I tend to always over think and keep my bitcoins safe in my own wallet. Haha.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is how my 7 bitcoins at coinbase got hacked on: October 24, 2017, 08:18:41 AM
Bloody hell. That is susch a huge amount of money you Lost. Damn hackers. Can't fucking do other shit than be lazy and steal other people's hard earned bitcoins. I really am sorry for your loss. Losing that kind of money would make me want to kill anyone responsible. Sad thing is you can't find who really was responsible. Which is more frustrating.

But damn bruh,  you really made a big mistake puting big amounts of money in an exchange. Plus using google to get the number of coinbase. . Jeez.. but thanks for sharing this though, a lot of people can really learn from your experience.
I hope somehow you get back what you lost in any way. And i wish karma runs after whoever did this to you.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to destroy the bitcoin? on: October 24, 2017, 03:39:24 AM
Is there any way to destroy the bitcoin?  Not to hack or fake it but completely destroy the system.

Yes. Although destroying Bitcoins isn't logical and quite stupid for someone who is in the crypto world to do, there are really many ways to do so. One is bombing the root of the block-chain literally. Lol.
Another is when goverments decide to prohibit the usage of bitcoins and other cryoto currencies present.
Legalization of bitcoins can also break it. Because with legalization comes with regulation. And if bitcoins and other crypto currencies get regulated, then it means others will lose interest. A lot. Because decentralization isthe most important asset of bitcoin. And without it., Bitcoin will lose morethan half of its supporters including me.
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Hathaway's summary: Bitcoin is Garbage on: October 23, 2017, 06:34:39 AM
I don't know why we should pay attention to such so called experts that are spreading false information about Bitcoin. Don't know what is the purpose of it except that these are ordered articles or statements by some interest groups but they forget that Bitcoin has come too far to be damaged by such statements just like that. And this one has become just before the fork.

Well, i think we should be really concerned sir. Because these tyoe of personalities can do so much damage or great things to Bitcoins and obviously to all other alternative coins in the crypto world as a whole.

Mainly because these so called experts are skilled individuals in their own fields and are famous for that. Which is why a lot of people put their trust to these experts(those who know little to nothing about crypto currencies).

So, if these experts never stop saying all sorts of bullshit about bitcoins, then i think this will really be a problem. Because this may cause confusions to people looking into jumping in the crypto world. And may even make interested people turn a hundred and eighty degrees from bitclins and other crypto currencies.

Now if these continues to happen a lot, we can really expect slow progression in bitcoins. Worse case scenario may be stagnation of progress or even regression.

So i think it is just right that we give a damn about this obvious problem and do something about it. Rather than ignore it.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Hathaway's summary: Bitcoin is Garbage on: October 22, 2017, 04:31:23 PM
I love it when these experts come up with a fundamental analyzis on something they don't understand: 'Garbage!'
They let even the average sig spammer look so damn smart....
I guess these dinosaurs are heading to extinction.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBgQqqvqKKM

Damn it. I cannot even express how much i freakin hate this fcktards spitting out all kinda of bull crap about Bitcoins and all the other crypto currencies present today. What's worse is that these fcktards talk about things they do not even have knowledge about. They often talk shit and use baseless rumors or hear says as their references. This just irritates me because they act like they know sht but in reality they don't. Fcking dumbass showoffs.
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: October 21, 2017, 11:12:55 PM
Some people like the Brazil Central Bank Chief called Bitcoin a Bubble & Pyramid Scheme, how can the bitcoin industry prove this wrong and make sure bitcoin never ends but grows bigger?

That'd be pretty hard if you ask me. Because people like them who spits out all sorts of negativity about Bitcoins are hopeless. Because people like them that have closed minds only hears what's not against their beliefs.

But if you think about it, Bitcoins can really seem like a pyramiding scam for people who don't know better. Because it is not backed up by anything except the trust of every bitcoin lover in this crypto world (including me of course).  And that also hinders people who have interest in jumping into Bitcoins to have second thoughts.

Now, the only thing we can do is stay strong and stick to Bitcoins and face the ups and dips that may come in the way of bitcoin.
And let them go crazy regretting that they haven't gotten themselves Bitcoins.
