121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: October 27, 2021, 05:18:29 PM
Honestly, at this point I really don't know anymore. Ut is a good source of income though for traders like me who take advantage of the hype. But even so, I only allocate 2 and a maximum of 5% of my funds to this shitcoin. And seeing those huge price surges never really bothers me at all. If it goes up, then good for the people who believe in this shitcoin. If not, then I still made money anyways so it can go to the moon or hell for all I care (both of them). I just feel pitty for the small people who get hyped then rekt because of this manipulation. I hope you don't invest more than 1-5% of your funds into this coin (or anyone) because I hate to see people get rekt since I know the feeling all too well. It's good to invest but don't get greedy and be FOMOed easily. Good luck.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Will circular economy work ? on: October 27, 2021, 04:51:53 PM
Such idealism is greatly needed and appreciated but the only problem is that people will always look into quality. And obviously, it isn't easy to trust such products since eventually, they tend to degrade im quality. The only people who would be willing to take such risks are the people who badly need it and have no other choice (which us a good thing since it can help people in need while reducing waste) but the thing about this is that even with cheap prices, if it does not work well it will spread bad reviews and would make even the less fortunate hesitant to buy it and instead try harder to opt for brand new items regardless of price.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2021, 04:18:21 PM
So I keep hearing HODL, HODL, keep holding and all that. My simple question to everyone is "when is actually the right time to sell Bitcoin or we don't ever sell it"?

How then do we say we have made money from it if we don't sell?

That's why it is important to plan everything before you jump into something. That is basic investment knowledge. This is where price goals and stop losses work well. Plan your investments properly and you will realize that there really isn't anything much to wonder about. Another thing that would make it easier is to figure out your financial status and to discern how much you value an asset and whether or not you can afford to part or not part with it. Read more, I believe it will benefit you a lot. Good luck op.
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurs, money and investing - your culture on: October 26, 2021, 03:23:23 PM
Exactly! Worse thing is that people here are actually much worse than the people where you are! In fact, here in my country, it is even considered rude to ask for a person's job even more so to ask about their saralry rates egen just an estimate! And if you make money without them seeing you being in a good paying job, they label you as a drug dealer or scammer etc! God how I hate these type of people. Which is why I distance myself from people except for the good friends I have and chosen family!
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good list for a short or medium term investment? on: October 26, 2021, 02:18:53 PM
Long term is good for keep and nu. But even so, always do your research about the coins you hold every now and then so you won't get surprised when dumps happens and in the end be aware and able to take advantage of it instead. But if you were to ask me for some advice, I would say that it is better for you to stick to coins that are in the top 20. At least that's what makes me feel at ease and sleep vetter at night while exoecting profits in the long run.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: BitcoinETF and the general direction of cryptocurrency on: October 26, 2021, 01:54:11 PM
In all honesty I really don't think it will affect this industry that much because the people will have it as a stock and not btc itself. You can search about what etf is for more information. But yes, in a wider scale it indeed can affect this industry through a wide-scale publicity that'll make more people especially the small individuals hear about bitcoin and be interested in this industry as a whole. This will eventually take effect more next year.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TV Commercials & How they attracting more clients in crypto industry. on: October 26, 2021, 01:25:03 PM
Well, it is truly evident that T.V. commercials can do lots of wonders in attracting people in many ways regardless of subject. This is one of the reasons why it will also be able to trigger the curious bones in other people who has never heard of bitcoin before or has heard only a bit about it along with some biased thoughts. And if you think about it, the way the world is right now, people are bound to get easily attracted where the money is at. So in my opinion, there will even be more people attracted just by the thought of this industry specially when heard from televisions which most of the people trust.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalising would give a chance to Latin America on: October 21, 2021, 06:50:29 PM
Illegal drugs that are unnatural shod just remain illegal. I'm not saying this because I am against the help it can guve to economical statuses in many countries but instead, I am against it because no matter how much you control yourself to not abuse such substances, sooner or later there will be bad effects on the body. And don't even get me started about the people who would take advantage lf the easy access to these drugs jn krder to abuse it asuch as possible. In my opinion, it may help economies in the short term, but in the long run, it will destroy economies. This will be because of the increasing number of people who'd destroy theur futures because of such substances that they never would've been able to touch had it not been legalized.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all pro traders on: October 21, 2021, 01:50:13 PM
In a sense there are quite a few similarities. But no one can really guess exactly. There are only better guesses and worse ones. And those are educated guesses compared to point blank guesses having technical analysis as the tool. And I suggest that you focus more on this since it will be very important regardless of wanting to be a trader or just an investor. Right now though, I can tell you that we are really pushing resistances to the test and breaking ath after ath. I can't even see signs of slowing down yet as of the moment.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador Bitcoin payment option on: October 21, 2021, 01:33:36 PM
This is why leaders should clarify everything they say because most of the time, a lot of people have problems comprehending multiple things in a single moment. And worse is that others find loopholes on the wordings to either say something positive or negative to mislead others that have low comprehension or are too lazy to try and understand what they read or hear better. And then these people spread the misleading news misleading more people that then does the same. Maaan politics is such a headache.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is telling people you're into stocks "cool" but crypto is a big secret? on: October 21, 2021, 01:06:33 PM
If you are like that, then there is a problem about how you think about things. I suggest that you care less about other people's opinions and focus more on what you love to do and isuch more comfortable for you because in the end, it is your money that you will invest your hard work and all. Win or lose you will be the one celebrating or crying. People tend to hate something new that they do not understand, even more when they feel they have been left behind and jealous but too egotistic to accept it. Hope you or the one that is being looked down upon just because of being a crypto investor manages to rid himself of the worries he has about other people's perceptions about him.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best yield farming platform on: October 20, 2021, 01:53:25 PM
I won't go as far as shill the palatform and the coin I get in participating in its yiield farm. I'll just tell you an honest review about it. By the way, I do yield farming on the sovryn platform. Where they have a wide variety of options that you can choose from (what crypto pair you would like to use to farm their own coin: sovryn). I could say a lot more but I won't kill the excitement for you. Just head over to their website and read about them. Also, they are using RSK mainnet which is a bit of a hassle because of havung the need to convert and all, but for me, quite worth it.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Really, why bitcoin has this value? on: October 20, 2021, 12:56:44 PM
Well, it is what it is. No matter how much we are against the idea of bitcoin being used and seen as it is by the majority nowadays, there's too little to nothing we can do about it. Because something that people are used to is very difficult or even impossible to change. Also, if we think about the returns people are getting and are witnessing only sparks more greed. Let's face it, bitcoin is several times better than any other chiuces out there as a store of value and with the increasing inflation all over the world, there's just mo stopping the small and the huge holders.
134  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Malaria vaccine in Kenya on: October 19, 2021, 08:27:26 PM
Malaria itself, is not such a deadly illness as what others may think. Well at least that's the case here iny country provided that the one experiencing the illness itself seeks professional medical attention as soon as the illness is discovered or some similar symptoms arise. The only problem is that most of the time, people believe almost everything they see on the internet and just use herbal medicines without proof or studies backing up the thought of these herbal medicines being able to heal such illnesses. Although it is understandable that most people want to relieve themselves from any illness without havung to oay for expensive medical expenses, it still is very wrong. So malaria or not, people should always go to professionals who have studied several years for their profession instead of believing some random stuff they read online or testimonials from others.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advantages in the cryptocurrency industry on: October 19, 2021, 06:19:47 PM
Indeed there is quite a wide variety of advantages on being in the crypto currency industry and some of them you have already mentioned. But trust me, there are even more ways out there you just have to search for it. Specially now when defi and NFTs are present. In fact, some of my friends and relatives are taking advantage of the early stages of defis and NFTs and believe it or not, they are actually very profitable in doing what they do.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon musk now the richest man in earth on: October 19, 2021, 05:41:03 PM
I believe this man, Elon Musk will really be able to sustain this for a long long time. Heck, I even think that he'd be doing far more better as time goes by. Because this guy, although not famous with the common folks that got fcked in following his tweets blindly, is such a great visionary and possesses a tough diamond-like heart in terms of making hard decisions and most importantly sticking to those decisions despite norms or the contrasting opinions of different people around him. This is what led him to where he is now and will still be the traits that would be leading him to greater heights.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we accelerate the mass adoption of crypto? on: October 19, 2021, 04:25:29 PM
There are already various means of mass adoption happening. You should realise that regulation isn't the only way. Still though, it gives a greater push to hasten things up but at the expense of the crypto enthusiasts being taken advantage of. The big news about ETHs happening although not helping bitcoin directly, it helps spread awareness about this industry which is a good thing. I guess more than major news to boost the common people's awareness about this industry, regular promotion from common folks to their peers or influencers to their audiences would work like magic also.
138  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mass media manipulation - Rating system as way out to freedom ? on: October 18, 2021, 06:50:19 AM
I understand your idea and the genuine heart for the greater good but sad to say, this is really impossible. It would hardly be taken seriously and even if it does get a bit famous, it'll only end up being manipulated as well. The last thing we'd need right now is another big tool for manipulation being made. What should be pushed though is the attitude of wanting to verify everything before believing nor spreading. And the best way for this is to start with yourself, and the people near you.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Diem thoughts on: October 18, 2021, 06:21:30 AM
Personally, I love the idea behind the project. The only problem is that the difficulty it will face as it starts getting permissions to operate and all. Regulators will be tight about such matters and even with the approved ETFs, regulators will still aant transparency over such matters. Their main reason will be the so called protection of the users (although plausible, I doubt they care to such an extent) and of course the dough that's rightfully due for them in their eyes. Face book will probably focus more on improving utility and innovation.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think crypto will be the future for payments in space ? on: October 18, 2021, 05:54:23 AM
This idea is very plausible and is very likely to be the best option for such use cases. Although I can only speculate on when, it really has a huge possibility. The last thing we'd ever need in space are regulations that slows everything down and hinders many things which in turn can be detrimental for progress for the humankind. Man.... I really wish I was born or will be reincarnated in the future to witness mankind's future breakthroughs and achievements!! T_T... Oh well, at keast I had a great childhood.
