201  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador plan to make BTC legal tender on: June 07, 2021, 04:01:02 PM
A credible outlet and others have given credit to this news. El Salvador is one of the Central America countries that could be considered a failed state. Little rule of law, an immense number of gangs with thousands of members... The president is probably not the best economist out there, but he may be right in choosing bitcoin as legal tender and even right on the reasons to choose it. After all, having a currency only works if you can print a lot of it and preserves its value and nowadays those are only the USD, EUR, RNM and perhaps the sterling pound to a point.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-57373058

The current legal tender, USD, is managed by the FED and ultimately by the US government and perhaps is justified to change that to a decentralised network that has less political motivations under certain perspective.

I feel sad for the people there. I wish the politicians would do more to improve the quality of life in El Salvador for the sake of it's people specially the children. Although I am impressed by this innovative step, I still do not think that this is enough to fix the economy. If the government does nothing about this and continue to turn a blind eye to the issues at hand, even bitcoin or any other crypto currency won't be able to do much to improve the lives of the people there. I hope the president understands this well and care enough for his fellow countrymen to actually act now.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: June 06, 2021, 06:39:08 PM
What can I say? People just doesn't care about valuable information unless it aligns with what they want to believe in for themselves, let alone information that only affected others and not themselves. That's just how most of the people in this industry are based on how many people jump into countless sh*tcoins nowadays. All because of a few tweets from Elon Musk along with exaggerated promises from sh*tcoin developers. Oh well, each to his own. There isn't anything better of a teacher than experience itself. Though sad, the only way is for this people to learn the hard way.
203  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Whether electronic technology has stopped progressing, Apple's mobile phone desi on: June 06, 2021, 02:25:25 PM
The people who are interested in designs would really notice this, but even so, it is pretty clear that people who buy iphones are impressed by its simplistic design and the clean look it has be it on the outside or the interface that the operating system itself is providing. Now, this doesn't mean that there is nothing wrong with being stagnant and being too comfortable because a lot of phone brands are already doing a lot to improve not just overall design but also performance, durability and affordability. We can see that these other brands are experimenting a lot to be more familiar with the taste of the common public which is great. Apple needs to be more serious about this since we already witnessed what happened to Nokia, if they become to comfortable, they might meet the same fate.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Covid-19 carrying the growth in digital currencies? on: June 06, 2021, 01:53:08 PM
It is still to be adopted. However, if the time comes when bitcoin gets widely adooted worldwide, there will surely be huge gain in the market and not just with bitcoin. I can only imagine how easy things would be and how good it would feel to be using something that isn't managed by anyone else but yourself. But as you said, even today, a lot of people are venturing into this industry because of this pandemic which has caused the massive price hike in almost every crypto currency in this industry. Just try and think how much this industry would flourish if the world decides to adopt crypto currencies fully.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dot, Next Ethereum on: June 05, 2021, 03:47:30 PM
Indeed, polkadot is a very amazing coin to invest in. From the concept(use case), the community, the developers, to the timelines of implementing everything on the roadmap. There are just so many great things about this coin. Even on the recent days, they have been announcing good news after good news. With the current pace it is moving, there really is a great chance for polkadot to rise within the ranks and go head to head with ethereum. Vitalik better watch out.
206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why revolutions and movements fail at their desired outcome on: June 05, 2021, 03:11:34 PM
Indeed, revolution is very overrated. And I agree that the best solution is to really push the people with the same ideals to not aimlessly protest but instead, use the privileges that are present today. Focus on what's significant; appropriate paper work. People should learn more about the laws in their own country and take advantage of the power of law.

But even so, protests are not to be underestimated because if people really do unite, governments can fall. A good example of this is the edsa people power in the Philippines which has overthrown the abusive president at that time along all the other people under him that did all his bidding. But yes, the best way would be the things you suggested.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is the fastest asset to hit 1 trillion marketcap on: June 05, 2021, 02:52:50 PM
Indeed, bitcoin has achieved a lot in all it's years of existence. Although very stunning, it isn't that much of a surprise for people who understands the potential of electronics and the parts it may play in the future. Having this new thing back then when the world was at a time of great technological development where new things electronic connected are popping out of nowhere, it would only take a matter of time before this "new thing" back then would catch a lot of publicity both good and bad. Which helped it a lot to reach several ATH at such a fast pace comoared with other assets. And I believe that bitcoin along with all the altcoins in this industry are still at it's early stages and still has a lot of room to improve and gain more attention.
208  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Remains of 215 underage genocide victims found in Kamloops on: June 04, 2021, 05:44:00 PM
Things like this one doesn't really surprise me anymore. There have been countless awful things related to the Catholic church ever since its establishment in the past. The number of these type of incidents only started to decrease in the recent years because of  the new laws that protect the general public along with the fact that the people are being smarter which makes them refuse to be treated in such a way as in the past. But even with this, there are still cases of abuse from the catholic church that arise in many parts of the world. I even know of a lot here in my country and here in my neighborhood.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden Goes After Crypto Tax Evaders with Global Data Sharing Initiative on: June 04, 2021, 05:20:59 PM
The main point here is that there is no need to be defensive about this if you are not or have not ever evaded your taxes in any way. I really do not see anything wrong with this and would totally support it. This thing that Biden is pushing actually has a lot of benefits. This is going to help reduce, if not entirely wipe out those annoying tax evaders that take advantage of anything they can. I just wish though that this doesn't get used in politics to force countries that do not want to participate to hand out data against their will and then be bullied by the U.S. just because they chose to decline.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi ever come forward? on: June 04, 2021, 04:58:24 PM
Just leave the damn guy alone ffs. He clearly doesn't want himself to be found and he most certainly has valid reasons for this. Just admire the guy and appreciate his creation which has lead us to be here. Forcing a guy to come out against his will would never end up to a good outcome anyway so let us just stop pestering and let the guy be. There are far more important things related to bitcoin which are very significant to its future. Might as well focus on these things instead of more nonsense.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 90% chances if a coin is listed in Binance it has a good potential on: June 03, 2021, 06:38:40 PM
Umm,.. Nope. Instead, look for great coins that have great developing teams, follows the roadmaps on time, great community and of course, has great use case, purpose or concept that are NOT YET LISTED on BINANCE. In this way, you will be able to maximize potential profit every time there is a good news, new exchange listing or finally getting listed on binance. At least that is how most of the people do things most of the time. Even I do the same from my investments to the rewards I get from bounty campaigns. Hodling and before binance is what works best for me. Hope this helps. Smiley)
212  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dealing with environmental impact on: June 03, 2021, 06:10:06 PM
Obviously, all these blabber about the bad effects of bitcoin towards the environment are nothing but useless tricks and attempts by the people on top to make bitcoin look way more awful than the actual fact so that these big people along with their big businesses can either manipulate the market for their gains or to deduct the number of crypto enthusiasts in order to delay if not fully stop, the mass adoption of not just bitcoin but also of every altcoin in this industry. Just thinking about how so many things are much worse than bitcoin in terms of environmental damages but are not being criticized as much as bitcoin is already proves my point.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Fiat on: June 03, 2021, 05:42:12 PM
Welp, that was awkward. lol. Bitcoin or any alternative coin in this industry aren't the only ones a person can invest on. Clearly, you are way too focused on bitcoin right now that you forgot about this. Also, you were giving a sense of ignoring others and focusing on bitcoin. Just think about it, who in their right mind would even invest a hundred percent on bitcoin alone? There obviously are a lot of okay to great investments in and outside of this industry that are also great for the purpose of storing value. Or maybe you just mean that letting your money stay idle without gaining anything is wrong? If that's the case then, well I strongly agree with you.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Statue in Hungary on: June 03, 2021, 05:03:30 PM
The ps  tho.  Cheesy Grin

But seriously, the idea itself by these amazing individuals are just amazing. Specially the "we are all satoshi" thing. I can already see this masterpiece becoming a tourist attraction some time in the near future. Not only that, but this would also trigger curiosity from a variety of people that would be able to witness the said sculpture which can only lead to having more people getting interested with this industry and further hasten the worldwide adoption. I wouldn't even be surprised if same type of sculptures or any art with the same concept pops out in different parts of the world after this.

-Thanks for the good read, sending merit.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop the FUD! Enough is enough! on: June 02, 2021, 05:08:13 PM
First of all, nobody deserves to live a hard life. What everyone deserves is a better life and good opportunities to make it happen. People who easily get swayed by emotions and fear are not to blame. Experience is a great teacher and in time they will realize the mistakes they made and make better decisions in the future. Also, selling and buying is natural because along with the weak handed people, the veterans of this industry also take advantage of the hype or fud which is only natural since nobody invests in anything just to lose money. I know it is easy to go and just look down on people and a hassle to actually try and look into their perspectives to understand them. Which is why a lot of people won't even bother. The world is already full of a**holes. I just wish that you and the others do not act like this just because a lot does.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: We exited the bear market earler than expected on: June 02, 2021, 04:20:40 PM
We cannot  be sure yet because even with the price trading at $38,000 as of this moment, there is a huge chance of it retracing back to lower prices if it doesn't overcome the $40,000 resistance. If this happens, we can go back $34,000ish support and if this doesn't hold we can potentially go back to as low as $29,000-$30,000. Although I cannot be entirely sure about this, this is what I can understand while I watch the candles. So, everyone must still exercise great caution in buying Bitcoin, more so, in buying alternative coins. Good luck everyone!
217  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated persons quarantine? on: June 02, 2021, 03:57:29 PM
I’m trying to make sense of this real life experience of mine..

Grandmother just had a surgery, she is staying in the hospital for about a week..

My mother and uncle both try to visit her..

Mother, not vaccinated, they let her visit my grandmother..

Uncle, vaccinated, but vaccinated less than 2 weeks ago, they will not let him into the hospital at all, not even the waiting rooms, where my unvaccinated mother is allowed to be in the hospital all over the place..

Now why is it that they are more strictly refusing entry to recently vaccinated people than to completely unvaccinated people?
I can hardly believe this is true, but it is..

Wtf?

Well, it clearly depends on the situation itself entirely and not because of any conspiracy related reasons. Your uncle probably had symptoms related to covid even when he doesn't have the actual virus like a high temperature, cough or runny nose. Which may have been the reason of the people there who monitor whoever enters the hospital to be misled and think that your uncle is infected. Or maybe, the hospital just has poor management that they have careless people who monitor the people who enters the hospital. Did your uncle even inform them that he was already vaccinated? Was his vaccination less than two weeks ago the last or the first dose? These are also things you need to consider.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC and ETH price are too high. Better invest in alt coins like ADA, DOT, MATIC on: June 02, 2021, 03:33:07 PM
Well, what you are saying does make sense, even I myself have stacked up on ada, and dot plus uniswap and chainlink. This is because of the same reason as you along with the great credibility and use case of these tokens. But then again, I do not ignore bitcoin and ethereum still. Since every thing in this industry clearly relies on hype and fame at the moment. We cannot underestimate the power of hype and fame because we already seen what it can do to any coin like doge. So I suggest you still invest on eth and btc because people are more likely to push these coins up before anything else.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe history repeat itself? Economic wise. on: June 01, 2021, 10:13:53 AM
History can repeat itself, yes, may not be entirely but can still do partly. And the sad thing about this is that even if some moments or some similar scenarios have already repeated themselves quite a lot, most of us still cannot figure out what to do or never learn from experience. Quite sad but that's just how it is every time even with all the clues and hints that are present around us we choose to ignore and follow the crowd instead and end up making the same wrong decisions while also taking the same wrong paths. When this will all change, only time can tell.
220  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do ALL vaccines kill people? on: June 01, 2021, 09:55:40 AM
I think only some are defective or is limited to specific brands like astrazenica. Which was banned here in my place after some people died after taking the second dose of the said vaccine. And just my luck, I was injected with the first dose and now they say that the second dose would be another brand. which is now making me quite skeptical of all the vaccines out there. But despite this, I still believe that vaccinations should continue still since if it doesn't, it would only make way for larger numbers of people getting the virus which is very detrimental for the economy all over the world. This kind of post is really misleading for the people, specially for those that are already doubting the vaccines. Spreading fear will only make things worse. Please stop doing this.
