741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: December 24, 2017, 07:49:05 AM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.

The advantages of bitcoins is them being decentralized and being volatile yes those were also their disadvantages but still an advantage for some reason because being decentralized means being not incline in the government and it means no tax at all so we have a freedom with our own money we can do whatever we wanted im our money without them controling us. And being volatile in a positive side means your holdings our money can grow and can be an investment because its value are no stable and can do buy and selling too.

I agree. This are also the advantages that i saw that later on, after studying it even more, finally lead me to using the great technology. And i cannot deny, i really enjoyed the new trend. Was absolutely pretty cool and amazing. Although most of the people around me doubted that bitcoin will really be useful one day. Now, they all ate their words. And are asking for help. They want me to teach them. Which i did. And now they are doing their best to get a hold of as much as they can. Sad thing is, most of them are only in for the profit. Which caused them to invest blindly without even knowing hiw thungs work in the crypto world. Which caused them to lose huge capital and panick sell. That they later regret since the btc price rised drastically a few weeks later. If only they asked me questions or at least made theur own research first before jumping into the crypto world. But i think the greedy bastards deserved it though.
742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will people be talking about how much they made or lost over the holidays? on: December 22, 2017, 05:33:48 PM
So I am new. I was hoping for a Christmas bump in price as any holders would share with family over the Meal the rocket ship rise they had.

Now I fear a price bump won’t happen is maybe people lost paper profits and might warn Family and friends.   Not that it matters as what I bought I knew was a gamble.   Any thoughts on a Post Christmas bump? Hopefully people will talk kindly.

Thank you.

Ps my username has nothing to do with the price.  It is based on the usernames I picked were all taken.  My three favorites were all ready gone!

Hey, first of all, your username is nice. So don't worry about it.
Now, if you did take profits and weren't too greedy this past few months, i really don't think that you will ever be talking about losses with friends and family. Instead, you will be giving tips since i think seeing your experiences, your family amd friends would really want to have the same experience as you did in the crypto world for the past few months.

But if you were like of the greedy bastards in the crypto world that only invest for greed and jumped right in without knowing what they are doing, then sad to say, holidays for you will literally suck lol.

743  Economy / Speculation / Re: 45% drop - this is new territory, never seen before on: December 22, 2017, 05:18:16 PM
We are looking at the great correction happening today guys. Great corrections has already happened a lot in the past. It's just that it isn't as big and as fast as the current great correction. But if you think about it, this correction is just right and oretty logical since the price rise in bitcoin for the oast few weeks were really fast and high. I think this is rather a good thing and quite healthy for bitcoin to he honest. Plus it gets rid of those greedy bastards only investing in bitcoin because of profitability wothout evem understanding how it works and what problems it solves.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government put on tax on bitcoin on: December 22, 2017, 04:57:43 PM
If the goverment put tax to bitcoin transaction, what will the consequences?

The profit will decrease and attraction also decrease in my opinion. How about yours

I would probably be dumping all of my bitcoin possessions asap by the time this gets announced. And by the time this gets implemented, there will be no more bitcoins in my wallet. I would rather tramsfer all of mu funds suddenly not caring if the fees are high on that time. Because just imagine how much we oay for transaction fees, it would literally be bullshit if governments would put taxes on bitcoins. Can't even imagine what will still be left for us after every transaction. Just bullshit.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] 🔵 Datarius 🔴 First Social p2p Cryptobank 🔵 on: December 22, 2017, 01:05:49 PM

Too logical to be the truth) Of course, tokens will be listed on exchanges after ICO. Never mind, I read needed answer above.
some tokens listed on exchange(etherdelta) during ICO.

I hear about it for the first time. So while running ICO investors can buy tokens from project and sell/buy them on exchanges? Or how does it work?

Qute curious about this also. Would really love to see anyone answering this query.

Also, if a participant decides to join now, how much days does he still have left to complete the said task? Sorry for having such a lot of questions im just curious..
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Make Money in Crypto on: December 16, 2017, 04:20:47 PM
Good day as I am new to the crypto world What is really the way to make $ in in crypto ? such as Bitcoin or other coins?

I understand as i have some invested. in my wallets the values go up and down, so you can cash out or sell when value up?

do you just buy and sell currency as the markets move up and down? or what other ways to make $ with crypto?
do you transfer bitcoin over to other websites etc?

or what should i be focusing on? thanks

just like to know what all the experts do?

There is more into earning profits in crypto currency than just working or investing on it. You have to really know what you are doing so you can measure aevery risks that all your investments are shouldering on crypto currencies. This is very important because without this, you will lose hard earned money. Worse case scenario? You will be broke and won't even know what happened how you became broke.

So advice is, focus in learning and understanding as much as you can before throwing in sme cash.
748  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: December 14, 2017, 03:42:14 PM
Poor people and small businesses rely on cash. A contactless system will likely entrench poverty and pave the way for terrifying levels of surveillance

Discussion

These things happening are things that we cannot deny nor prevent from being reality since it is almost happening. And it will only be a matter of time till governments get tired of wastimg time money and effort producing fiat that gets replaced countless times and get counterfeited or taken for granted. Amd when this happens good bye fiat.

But, even if this happens and may seem that this will be bad for poor people, i think people will still be able to adapt. That is what we are made of. We always adapt to various situations. Maybe when this happens, barter trade will be brought back to life and be a means of survival for poor people in remote areas. I don't know. But for sure, peole will adapt.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why decentralization is so important for crypto? on: December 14, 2017, 03:24:17 PM
Thank you all for your answers (eternalgloom: I'm reading the article)

But, nevertheless, I don't have clear understanding (maybe it's me).

Being a developer, I'm trying to think in terms of technical requirements and how could I accomplish them.

Requirement: As a user, I want to trade my currency freely, not having any government interruptions, not having to pay taxes etc.

Implementation:

Proposal 1: lets implement decentralized p2p network with proof of work => Bitcoin

Proposal 2: lets wire up a bunch of anonymous Tor services (for example) and serve user requests there.

Wouldn't p.2 work as good as p.1?

The question you gave really poked my curiosity. Haven't really thought about that yet until now that i have read your post. It surely is difficult to grasp block-chain and the real purpose or should i say the epitome of all the great things about crypto currencies(having profits as an exception) which is the decentralization of these tokens or coins. But what I'm sure of is that both ppints you have mentioned are very very important to most of us here.

Now, on this quoted post from you, i am pretty interested. This might reqlly work. I ain't a techy person but i think i get the idea. This would be a pretty nice start for a plan to make another token or coin that is different. Something that is with a purpose of being something useful and solves problems compared to other tokens or coins driven by profit alone or greed.

750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When to Sell Cryptocurrency... on: December 14, 2017, 03:01:12 PM
Hi there!

I recently learned that, ideally, you should only sell cryptocurrency once its value has increased by a factor of 50-1000.

In other words, if I buy $100 worth of TWINKLES (as an investment), I should only consider selling once they're worth $5000-$100000 (50-1000 times the original investment).

Would you say this is fair?

Thanks in advance for your comments! :-)

Michael

Although the numbers you are talking about are pretty high amd ambitious, it is pretty logical. Of course every investor wants big profits. I mean, who doesn't right? But the thing is, asking for too much can be the one that makes you lose a lot than earn a lot. So if you are aiming for these kind of profits, make sure that you are investing on the right project. Not just on a project that is raising a you a lot of profit due to pumps and dumps. Although these are food coins/tokens for trading, it isn't something that gives you as much profit for less work or no work at all. So i advice you to reduce your greed if you do not know yet how to choose projects that can give you those profits you are wishing for. And yeah, gain more experience. Because sometimes, things go unexpectedly fucked or great here in the crypto world.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IPO - Initial Potato Offering- Potato Token- ICO Trolling on: December 14, 2017, 12:11:10 PM
Honestly, i am very very intrigued. And am also almost convinced. I probably just need a little more push to make me throw some dough to this interesting project that you are talking about. So i will just be watching this thread. Turned on the notification for this. Hoping to see opinions frok other experienced investors here.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptokitties, boon or bane to eth? on: December 14, 2017, 09:56:57 AM
Clearly, those people who are saying negative things about the crypto kitties are new to the crypto currency world. They will go about complaining about the never before experienced congestion whatsoever and label cryptokitties as something like a nuisance. But if one looks into it a bit deeper, this is more of a possitive thing than a negative one. This boosts the popularity not just eth but the whole crypto currencies. I can go for hours explaining why this is good for eth but that would be roo much hassle. Do your own researc about the topic.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO in Dec? on: December 14, 2017, 06:37:43 AM
I prefer these ICOs . But before invest you have to have a self research of these projects . Wabi was a very good ICO. It was come to the exchanges yesterday and now price is X5 . Check these icos,

✔️ Gladius(https://gladius.io/)➖Pre-Sale Ongoing
✔️ AMLT/COINFIRM (https://amlt.coinfirm.io/) ➖ ongoing
✔️ ZEN PROTOCOL(https://www.zenprotocol.com/en/sale) ➖ongoing and closing fast

I gotta say, you have a great eye on spotting promising ICOs. These three are also my top picks in my investment list.
Gladius is sold out already. Lucky are those who saw this great ICO.  Amlt, and zen also has potential to get sold out, haven't checked on them yet since i am busy, but i think these coin will really deliver. Not sure about x10 though. But the ideology of each project really do assure profits over time.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CORION - Price stable cryptocurrency - Always around $1 on: December 14, 2017, 05:57:04 AM
Damn, this coin really is solving a lot of problems that other coins have. I mean, stabilization is a big problem in the crypto world. It is very very hard to achieve. And with this, it just might happen. I mean, this could really work! If i may ask, what is the price of corion today? Really am interested on how this is gonna move later on.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018? on: December 14, 2017, 03:15:51 AM
So I have taken notice of this "coinbase effect" and I really believe that it is true. I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. I am NOT saying that these coins will pass BTC in any way, but I do think that LTC and ETH will be in the 4-10 thousands next year for sure. I made a video with my full predictions and thoughts, please check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOaP7C1JHqk

I gotta say, you have a talent in making videos like this. Anyways, thanks for the info. Because even though i have been in the crypto world for some time now, i still have a lot to learn. And everyday i am discovering something brand new, getting more knowledgeable as time pass, hope you keep doing informative svideos like this one since it can really help a lot of people. Specially the new ones.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to money if exchange gets hacked? on: December 14, 2017, 03:06:32 AM
Regarding Nicehash hack and losing some BTC i have some money on exchanges, real money not USDT nor coins. Real EUR and US.
If exchange gets hacked is it possible for hacker to steal real money easy as they could steal coins?

I don't think hackers in the crypto world have that much interest towards anything else other than crypto currencies. Stealing real money would be stupid in my opinion since it will be easily traced. Which is why your fiat may be safer in exchanges compared to your cryptos in exchanges. But still, prevention is better than cure, being labeled as paranoid is better than being labeled as stupid. What you do today will determine your future so be wise on all your decisions.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P altcoin on BITTREX on: December 14, 2017, 02:37:10 AM
Well, bittrex will surely be doing that. No doubt about it. Bittrex has even did a lot of things that hassled a lot of people. They aren't even fair with their decisions. A bunch of scary horror stories about bittrex have been floating accross the internet, on social media sites, this forum, and even with close friends. Which is why i never considered bittrex as one of my choices and would probably never will. I mean, working hard to get what you have just to lose it on bittrex. Damn. That would really hurt. Hope they try to imagine if they were the ones experiencing what their customers are.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good ICO to invest now? on: December 14, 2017, 02:21:56 AM
Hello,

Any good Ico to invest now that can give me $1000 on $100 investment on its launch.

Suggest me any good project.

Mcfly is great. I have joined its social media bounty and thinking of investing since it has a great team together with great ideology of project. The thing is, growth for this coin will be pretty slow amd would need a lot of patience since this is a long term investment.
Also, a great choice would be datarius. Damn, explaining would take me hours. Just drop by into their amm thread and read their white paper and you will understand why i am so hyped about it and why i am wearing its avatar and its signature.

Anyways, you can thank me later. I ak easy to find. Lol
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Calling It! ENJ is about to EXPLODE upwards. on: December 14, 2017, 12:39:34 AM
Damn. Thanks for this info. If you think about it, what you said really makes sense. ENJ may really do it. You should've included links for us to check out. That would've been great. But still, thanks for the tip. I might throw in some dough into this project.
