I am not able to verify your signature using brainwallet and hence verified using Electrum and posted the image, there is nothing to worry because your entire message and signature is quoted for future verification.

Oh, I see. Thank you again!

You made a mistake, you should always add a date in your message otherwise everyone can use this message to pretend they are you.  I suggest you remove your signed message and ask the guy who quoted it to delete it, then sign a new one with date.

Regarding the link, you can always use http://archive.fo/ to archive your verification and use it as a link Smiley

To answer this: user dok7122 has made only 5 posts since I started my new scraper. I still have 30k files to upload, so it'll take about 8 more hours.
The rest of the users' posts should be updated too, although I haven't properly tested the output.

I fount what is going on, most of those accounts recently woke up from long inactivity period, https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=dok7122.
Question, can you list the guys posted in this thread > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5187265.0
but instead of sorting them based on the posts, to sort then based on UserID, I think it will be very easy to detect account farms that way.
If it's too difficult or you have no time, just post the standard list I'll fix it myself Smiley

I will continue to monitor how the project works and I think that the prospects will be huge. But you also need to understand that this is a long-term prospect.

In the long term and I am sure that it will be in demand and especially since they have such reputable partners and this is a big plus right now.

Electricity is basically a worldwide utility that is easily accessible to consumers. But when it comes to the energy industry as a whole, conditions turn into strict regulation, a monopoly, or even complete chaos. Electricity production itself is only half the battle — using existing networks, matching supply and demand and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from their production is a difficult task. Cool

In developed countries it is hard to sell but given the fact that 2/3 of the world's population do not have access to this technology I think there are many places in the world where it can be sold )

Now the prospects are huge and I am sure that the project will work just fine and I will continue to monitor how it all works in practice.

Looks like that there will be no ads for at least a month. What will be then? I guess it will be nice surprise.
I've read that but if there's a surprise I don't think it will stop selling ads today, maybe it should wait until the 10th of next month.
Overall I was frustrated after reading 10th anniversary art contest, I  hope there will be a surprise or a better celebration.

Perhaps the idea of badges is a positive thing in addition to some gifts for the old members who continue to publish until now.

I don't know but it can be some kind of announsment for something or maybe factoids with some of the most remarkable posts of shatoshi which will replace the ads. I can thinkg of 1000 diffrerent things, like the Physical coin suggestion , advertising Epochtalk (jk), etc...
We have to wait and see.

2208  Other / Meta / Re: Epochtalk Media Campaign. Twitter, Facebook, etc. on: October 18, 2019, 08:37:20 AM

I’m conflicted here at this stage, simply because I don’t know the real status of the project and it’s road map (yes I’ve seen the Github repository).
The roadmap is here :
http://epochtalk.org/map.html

What I've seen is that if we do not push the things to happen, they will most likely never happen. It is so huge community and most of the people are here to make profit, well while using the platform for free to make profit you need to contribute to in some way.
Some will say that posting HQ content should be enough to popularize the forum and attract more traffic but this is more important.

Anyway I'll post my tweets and see what happens.
2209  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk.org 10th anniversary on: October 18, 2019, 08:32:57 AM
Maybe theyos is cooking something, just saw this comment regarding the ads:
Note that after this round, there will be a period of about 30 days where ads will not be sold.

To be clear: winners of this round will not have their ads run for 30 days. They'll run for the usual time. Ads just won't be sold at all for a ~30-day period; in other words, this is the last auction for a while where ads will be sold.

Looks like that there will be no ads for at least a month. What will be then? I guess it will be nice surprise.
2210  Other / Meta / Epochtalk Media Campaign. Twitter, Facebook, etc. on: October 17, 2019, 08:38:47 PM

Theymos said it clear - to get Epochtalk on Bitcointalk we must test it first but how to do it if nobody is willing to do anything?
For all those months all we have are 2 sites running Epochtalk - with this temps, we will mine the last bitcoin before we see it happen.

I take the initiative (again.. as usual) to do something about it so what I came up with is a Media Campaign but I can't do it alone.

IF WE WANT THE NEW SOFTWARE WE NEED TO ADVERTISE IT AND SHOW IT TO THE WORLD otherwise it will only remain as forgotten expensive repository on github.

It's a simple solution, almost everyone have Twitter, Facebook,Reddit, etc. and it takes almost nothing to post once a week just one post.

We are community and we cannot expect theymos to do it all, he made enough now it's our duty as a community to help him spread the word and make it happen.

This is one of the biggest communities, of course we can do it but we have to be together.

I have already posted on my Twitter back in February > https://twitter.com/Criptoi1/status/1100345455878250496

Please suggest a more appropriate section, here the exposure is almost 0.

@LoyceV,
Is it possible to get the deleted messages of a user? For example I suspect that this account> dok7122 is spam bumping but his I guess his messages are deleted every day. Is there a way to check his deleted post history of one account?
There are many more accounts to check. This is just an example.

Checking on BPIP doesn't help, as the messages are removed by the user.

Looks like where the User has posted his  last post here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5190525.0 is also a thread full of bots or pumping users.
All users there have just a few posts and quoting a lot of the messages there .
Looks not legit for me there .
Will watching this thread a bit in the next days .

Yeah, this is a bumping bot and all the threads he has posted are most likely to be using the same service.
From there you can connect the other bots as well and build one nice picture what is still going on in these sections.
2212  Other / Meta / Re: Epochtalk is ready, theymos wants us to test it. C'mon... on: October 17, 2019, 01:19:25 PM
Bumping this one because If we want to have the new software, we have to start using Epochtalk ASAP.
Let's post here all the sites using Epochtalk (not the scam ones if any) I'll update the OP.

Often, brand new accounts asking for services which nobody has ever heard of are cheap way of advertising this service and keep in mind that no reputable company will ever use this kind of approach.
It's very easy to create some fake traffic asking questions like this

It's the same with the guns. You give people guns, and most of them will protect their homes and do no sh!t but some will rob a bank with it. You can't stop it, the world is full of morons out there and those will find always a way to do their sh!t.
I'm happy they got caught.

2216  Other / Meta / Re: Which rank can we trust really? on: October 17, 2019, 09:17:15 AM
Considering MagicalTux and TF cases you should not trust :
VIP, Donator, Forum Contributor, Established Member,Legendary, etc.

Basically no one expect yourself.
It's like in the real life, but here the things are even worse, you interact only with userID and Avatar and some post history, this is all you have. You don't know who is sitting behind the keyboard, If this account actually changed hands, or the guy is just a crook farming trust and gaining reputation preparing for a nice huge exit scam.

Don't trust anyone, nobody cares about you here as nobody knows you and for money people are ready to do a lot of shit. I've seen relatives killing one other for inheritance. You don't know what sick mind is sitting behind the keyboard, most of the serial killers are looking quite normal and nice individuals but...

If you intend to trade, be informed that you are risking the amount even tho you are using the most reputed escrow for example.

Don't share your private keys even with your mother. They should remain private - just and only for you.

How can you see the flags he created?  I don't see any on my profile.

Go to Hach Support's trust page >https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2477143
You gonna see all the created flags there. In the Sent feedback look for (Created flag), follow the reference link.

In your trust page look for inactive flags, here is yours

Scammers should be down, that's normal.
Can't believe anyone still using Yobit: https://yobitexchange.com
I don't know about anyone else, but that isn't the site I go to when I visit yobit, and I'm not clicking on that link.  But scammers?  Come on now.

I was thinking to report the link as a suspicious but I checked the it on my testing computer, it's just a warning site for those who use the exchange to expect an exit scam. So I can say that it's safe.

Here is a screenshot from the website.

Back to the OP, I can open the exchange website without any problems.

One of us! One of us! Gooble gobble one of us!
Finally!
I was about to open a topic how Merit ruined my life, but Coolcryptovator turned my Mobile into a Full Member!
Of course, Merit still ruined my life, as it should have been a Hero Member by now Tongue

Now I won't feel so guilty anymore when I'm posting from my Mobile instead of my main account! Tomorrow I'll have a mobile day, so good timing.

If you think the other way you have room to rank up more even tho you are already a Legendary. Wans't it nice to get the same old feeling agian. You have 3 more ranks to go.

Lol Cheesy It felt different this way. And at the current rate, it'll take LoyceMobile 15 years to reach Legendary.
The main problem is the tiny keyboard, I mean: look at my post history: most are very short posts. Once in a while I make a longer post, but it takes forever to use URL-tags and edit quotes.
I use LoyceMobile when I'm bored, and it has many boards on ignore, so I can easy use "Show unread posts since last visit." to find topics I missed on my desktop.
So no, unless I start using it on my desktop, I don't expect to rank up more.

Hehe, I'm 70% of my time on my mobile so I know how difficult is to use the forum.
On the other hand it's very easy to check the last notifications, I get email for each one and it's very nice, but long posts... Yeah.. Difficult.
