Wrong thread, and it's a scrypt only multipool.
2202  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: .conf file help. on: May 17, 2014, 02:22:56 PM
There shouldn't be a problem as long as its extension is .conf.

well whenever I double click on the .conf file, it opens up notepad and not cgminer.  I've made sure to save it as a .conf file and change it to other file types when saving and not leave it as a txt file. If need be I may do a system reboot as I have to clean up the system anyways and I use it primarily for mining so it isn't that big of a deal.

You need to open cgminer.exe, and not the .conf file. The .conf file never opens up as cgminer.
2203  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Gridseeds - $70 USD (11 available) (UK) on: May 17, 2014, 02:20:48 PM
Since you are in EU, does that mean that no additional VAT payment is needed?
2204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: May 17, 2014, 02:19:52 PM
Scrypt-Based Mining now is just generally dead. I don't see the point anymore, even if you have Mh/s, you're still losing a LOT with electricity costs.

Some people have access to really cheap or even free electricity.

2207  Economy / Lending / Re: Wanting 0.02 loan on: May 17, 2014, 01:32:30 AM
I noticed they gave you the funds regardless if you had a collateral or not..

Did you put collateral or no? If not, then I feel bad for the lenders who might get screwed regardless if its a small amount or not.

Read the thread, he didn't. It's a small amount, and it would be stupid to scam for that with a Senior Member account. He would be much better off selling it.
2208  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Vanitygen GPU mining on: May 17, 2014, 01:28:57 AM
How does one get this to work correctly.

I have everything in place it starts working but just throws a load of random BS at me.

Vanitygen cpu works perfectly fine but when trying to use GPU i get no results.

only getting the following resutls

C:\vanitygen>oclvanitygen.exe -d 0 1craz

Does your GPU have proper drivers installed?
Try running it with -v, and posts the results here.

how can i convert credit card to mining pool safely and without losing usd or btc to fees

You can bank wire the funds to ANXPRO, which has a 0% trading fee, and you can trade your USD for BTC.
2210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: May 17, 2014, 01:21:29 AM
How come profitabiliy is low right now, isn't Nautiluscoin super profitable to mine right now? Shouldn't Clever be jumping on that before the train leaves?

I suppose Terk is already configuring that as we speak.
2211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Do you like or hate the Bitcoin foundation? on: May 16, 2014, 06:12:22 PM
I don't hate it, but I dislike it and I think it is completely unnecessary for it to exist.
2212  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: May 16, 2014, 04:59:43 PM
I vote for ANXPRO and ANXBTC.
0% Trading Fee, supports Egopay. Doesn't need verification.

I also vote for Kraken. SEPA withdrawals, doesn't really need verification.

I personally use both of them, and they are both much better than BitStamp and all that crap.
2213  Other / Meta / Re: Locked out of account on: May 16, 2014, 04:52:56 PM
I can't get into my main account and the reset password doesn't work for some reason, who do I need to contact or what do I need to do to get my account back.

Regards

You have to contact theymos https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=35
and provide proof that it is your account. This usually works by signing a message with a private key to an address you posted with your locked account.

see here for the original post by theymos: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

If you cannot reset the password and cannot prove ownership, you probably won't get your account back.
Also, wrong section, should be in Meta.
2214  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: May 16, 2014, 04:36:42 PM
I've forgotten to post here but here is my address: 16tkwJkLpNoyACRaVR9nBdfocG4dCVesQE

Right now 253 posts x 0.006BTC = 0.1518BTC

I'll PM you just in case you don't see this

Thanks Smiley

I think you're doing it wrong. Subtract the amount of posts you have now, from the amount of posts you had when you started. Then multiply it.

So say if somebody joined with two hundred and fifty posts, and then got three hundred and sixty posts, it's like this:

360 - 250 = 110 x .0006 = .066BTC.
I check his posts and most of them are single words and nonconstructive s he need to cut them and then do total and send pm to Stunna otherwise he is not going to pay him

Oh yeah. I didn't even look at that. Nineteen posts that seem non-constructive on just the two first pages.

I'm going to assume there's nine nonconstructive posts on each page:

360 - 250 = 110 - 58.5 (9 x 13 / 2) x .0006 = .0351BTC

Is that how you guys would do it?
No just check your total posts and then check all constructive and send in Pm like this

Total constructive  posts        100

bitcoin address

and date when you join this campaign  with link just this and nothing more
Also, you have to PM stunna not post here.

Also, it's not even 17th yet. Use the forum time, not your own local time.

I think its better to go the route of cloud mining. I mean no hardware to worry about you pay electricity cost from what you earn which is great. Pbmining ghash.io and scrypt.cc are  great. I was also looking into nicehash.

Cloud isn't that great, but you forgot about LeaseRig.
2216  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacker stolen btc on: May 16, 2014, 04:31:56 PM
no ecnrypted

Pay attention. Bitcoin address where the stolen money went? Transaction ID? These are not difficult things to do.

Without this information we cannot help you, also, you should always encrypt your wallet.
2217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What's good to GPU Mine now that Scrypt ASIC's are coming out? on: May 15, 2014, 09:20:27 PM
Scrypt-N, X11, Groestl (Or whatever it was called).
GPU are great, since they can switch between different algorithms.
2218  Economy / Lending / Re: 1.5 loan request on: May 15, 2014, 09:12:14 PM
So what is dankcoin, precisely? Does mining it fund preaches in countries about love thy neighbor, smoke as much weed as possible, meditate daily and don't forget to play the guitar a lot because it's God's will, etc?

Is it an airdrop for people that spread love?
Can you even tell us why you think that dankcoin will revolutionize the world?
2219  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Beginner needs help - Hardware vs. Cloud on: May 15, 2014, 09:10:55 PM
Ok so 1 GH/s earns me about 0.000001 BTC per solved block on GHash.io (the minng pool I use currently). The pool solves about 40 to 50 blocks in 24 hours. Come the next difficulty change that will be less.

I am sure you can do the maths yourself but what it says is: Don't start mining with your own hardware unless can make a serious big investment into the hardware.

As far as cloudmining goes: The way you describe it doesn't exist as far as I know. Most cloudhashing services offer you to buy GH/s with upfront payment for a year minimum. They host the hardware and keep it running for you and you get what they mine. Lookup the service section for cloudmining opportunities or go to cex.io the partnersite of ghash.io:

They (cex.io) work a tad different: you can buy GH/s there too, but since cex.io is a trading platform they are treated as a commodity there. You can buy them, then sell them again at higher price in an instant. As long as you own the GH/s they are hashing for you on GHash.io automatically and their income (minus a small fee) is added to your cex.io BTC balance. They also sell future contracts whenever they are upgrading their hardware (mostly A LOT cheaper than the GH/s that are already there) those so called FHM are also a commodity and can be bought and sold instantly.

And also, these commodities are dropping in value because they aren't even worth that much.

If you want to get into mining and have free electricity, try the AntMiner S1. If not, don't even try to mine for a profit.
2220  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 2X Chili Miners for sale on: May 15, 2014, 08:17:01 PM
Each Chili requires a single 6 Pin PCI-E connector for power. I'm still running them on their high draw/high hash firmware and while I've never actually measured the draw I believe they each pull about 200W. I know a 4 year old PSU with 550W on the 12V ran both, and this 750W isn't having any issues at all. I'm located in NE Ohio.

Oh. Never mind then, I wanted to buy it, but I am in Europe, lol.
Good luck selling them.
