2221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BITSLER.COM , Sent Over 300$ USD / Huobi: Heco-Peg USDTHECO Token To Bitsler.... on: October 30, 2021, 12:42:28 PM
Huh Good Saturday people!

Done stupid mistake, as I was tired and wanted to gamble a little bit. So sent over 300 USD of (Huobi: Heco-Peg USDTHECO Token ) to Bitslers Tether address by mistake. Tried to contact them as I would only need the private key to be imported into houbi and recover my tether. But they saying it is impossible.

I was always thinking the crypto betting sites have private keys of the wallet addresses? Or is it some other reason that they cant be asked to do it? Im a Gold 3 tier aswell so was hoping to get some LOVE and support. Dont think ill get it back though.   Huh

300 $ is a serious amount of money and i hope you get them back. I don't really think, that it is technically impossible to get them back, but it is also not that easy to do, that is probably why the bitsler is telling you, that they can not do it. I know from exchanges that if you send a ERC-token for example to the exchange address of another ERC-Token then you can contact the Exchange to get it back, most good exchanges will do that, but they also ask for a fee for that action most of the times. So maybe you could contact bitsler again with your request and offer them for example 50$ as compensation for their effort. Getting 250$ back is better than getting nothing back.
2222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: October 30, 2021, 12:38:22 PM
I have all of these coins:

ETH 40%
CARDANO 20%
POKALDOT 20%
TERRA LUNA 5%
THETA 15%
Avax: 10%

Are my coins going to last is it likely?

I would say you have a pretty good portfolio right there and i would also say that each of these coins has a very high chance to be still around and also of relevance in 5 years. ETH has the biggest share of your portfolio and that is a pretty good idea because that way you are relatively safe that the biggest chunk of your investment is into a very safe and established project. Maybe you will not see a 10x of your investment of ETH but there is still room for significant growth. Cardano has some problems at the moment with delivering their smart contract functionality and it has been postponed now a couple of times but if they deliver you will see a nice profit there too.
2223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 30, 2021, 12:06:20 AM
With the arrival of a new coach (temporary coach) I hope that Barcelona still has a chance at least to qualify for the next round. Currently they have only 3 point in 3 match so they need a win to qualify. If Barcelona win 2/3 next match then they will go through I think. The most difficult match is when Barcelona go to Bayern Munchen because I think Barcelona will lose there. But first I want to see them win at Dynamo Kyiv.

I don't see the chances for barcelona so slim in that match against Bayern Munich. If anything goes the way as it is looking now Bayern should be already qualified for the the next stage of the tournament once they have to play against Barcelona and i can imagine that Bayern will not play with their best squad then and will try to give some players a chance that are usually not playing so much. If this happens then the chances of a win of Barca are definitely increasing. Barcelona would really need to go through into the next round as it would mean a few million € more for them and they really need that money to pay back their debts.
2224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gearing up for alt season on: October 30, 2021, 12:00:56 AM
Altcoin season is coming, the type we got in 2017 4th quarter to 2018 1st quarter so kindly chill me your holdings, what do you think will be the next 10x coins to hold right now? Low market cap or mid market cap coins?

In general i would say that it is pretty unlikely that a coin that is already in the top 20 or even top 50 in terms of market cap will do another x10 so easily those are all projects that already have a market cap of more than 3 billion dollars so the room for another 10x in a short period of time is pretty slim. So of course it is more likely that great new project that has a lot of potential will do a x10 in relative short period of time if a real altcoin season will come soon, but there the problem is that there are hundreds or even thousands of small crypto projects out there and even if you take away all those stupid meme-coins there are still a lot of good small projects left, so it is pretty hard to pick the right one here.
2225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 29, 2021, 05:29:04 PM
^^ @coinlocket$ & @tokeweed, I have mixed feelings about the decisions Mercedes took in regards to pitting. Maybe it was a good idea, maybe it was a bad idea I don't know. But what I can is that Bottas has not been very good in recent times, except for the time he won the race.  If you look at Red Bull, they have the perfect pair of drivers. Max pushing for the win while Perez has been very good support for him, holding down Hamilton or whoever comes trailing him. I have to give huge credit to Perez in these recent races as his good form has made it easier for Max to win the races.

To be honest i don't think you give Bottas enough credit here in comparison to Perez. I think that Bottas was extremely unlucky this whole season so far and still managed to win a race and achieve some nice results. Just look at the grand prix of monaco for example he was close to getting the pole their but then he had to cancel his last lap because of an accident and then in the race he was also on the track of winning this most prestigious grand prix of all and then somehow one of the the impact wrenches completely failed and he even had to retire the car. This is the first time i have seen this happen personally, so that really was extremely unlucky.
2226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coin craze on: October 29, 2021, 05:23:55 PM
A quick warning for those who needed them, be careful with projects that ends with the word .inu and nomics , right now investors are investing once again on projects mainly on hype and FOMO and developers are ready to take advantage of them, almost every new projects that listed on coinmarketcap ends with inu, small time now we will start seeing

Shakura inu
Kiba inu
Naruto inu Which I'm sure is coming
 Grin Cheesy Grin Grin

Just know where you put your money not all these meme coins mean business

It is really hard to keep track what is even happening or which projects with a great long term potential are launching soon with all those meme-coins that are coming out each and every day and that for at least a few months now. I was really hoping that the meme-coin wave would slow down or even die out when the market dropped quite heavily in the beginning of may, but somehow that trend just won't die. The reason for that is quite simple in my opinion. You don't really need to be a dev to launch a meme-project, you just create a ETH, BSC or Polygon token and give it a weird name and hope for the best. 99% of those meme-coins will be dead in a few months.
2227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 28, 2021, 07:14:57 PM
Dortmund are going to have Koln as their next opponent in Signal Iduna Park. Unfortunately, Erling Haaland won't be able to play in this game and it looks like he won't be around here for some time too. In his absence, Dortmund are still powerful enough to defeat opponents like this I think. Especially Bellingham can do a great work at this point to help his team continue to win. This game will be tough but Dortmund should be able to win.

Dortmund is of course still the favorite in that match but i still think that Köln has a pretty good chance to achieve a  draw or maybe even win this game. Dortmund has not been really stable so far in this season and even last week against Bielefeld, which is probably the weakest team of the bundesliga at the moment together with Fürth, they struggled a little and Bielefeld even had a huge chance to score for the 1-0 lead last week. It is not only haaland that is missing in the next game in total Dortmund has 8 players that can not compete because of injuries, of course haaland is the most prominent missing player and also the most important one. So let's see what Köln can do this weekend.
2228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: October 28, 2021, 07:06:37 PM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money. Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?

If you ask me i would say that it is both. As dogecoin is a meme-coin it offers zero use cases and functionality for it's users and it pretty much started as a joke as you already said. That doesn't mean though that you can not make money out of it. Just look at all those meme-coin craze that is happening in the last few weeks and months. People that invested early into coins like shiba-inu made some huge profits with it. That being said, i would never invest my money into meme-coins as i think they are not good for the crypto market as a whole. That being said at least dogecoin was the first of it's kind and invented that whole meme-coin stuff.
2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 28, 2021, 05:55:49 AM
What the hell was that result Bayern Munich got against Gladbach by 5-0 away in the DFB Pokal match today? I didn't watch the match and I wish I did. I checked directly the lineups but I saw that Bayern got their main players in the field which made things even more awkward. Normally, Gladbach can't ever beat Bayern Munich by a result like this one even in their dreams.  Cheesy  But something interesting happened here and there it is. This is football of course and no team are unbeatable by a big gap. But still we are talking about Bayern Munich. It can be Gladbach's best day in their life.

Yesterday was just one of those weird days that happen from time to time in football or in any other sports when a far superior team gets completely destroyed by the Underdog and no one really knows how this could really happen afterwards. Bayern played with their best squad and they did not really have any major player that was injured. I think Bayern was not really there at the beginning of the game which happens sometimes and yesterday Gladbach was able to immediately punish that.
2230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that airdrops never work ... on: October 28, 2021, 05:30:15 AM
Airdrops are a waste of time ...here is the proof ...best way is to leave the coin / token grow naturally ...

I totally agree with you here and i for myself have given up on joining airdrops a long time except for a very few times, where i thought that project could really have a future. The main reason why i stopped joining airdrops is quite simple, it is just not worth the time and effort. They don't even deserve to be called airdrops because you have to do something for it. You have to join Telegram, you have to follow their Twitter, make a retweet and so on. For a real airdrop all that is needed should be your wallet address.
2231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Genting Casinos awarded for their safer betting standards on: October 27, 2021, 10:57:47 AM
Apparently, Genting Casinos are awarded gamcare safer gambling standards for the second time in row. They are a casino based in UK. I do think this is a really big achievement for them.

I don't really know about that casino and i have also never heard of that award before but in general i would be very careful with such awards and stuff. You always need to check first for what the company received the award and which company or Institution is handing out this awards. It often happens that those awards have basically zero value or meaning and were just created for promotional reasons. Just look at those food labels for example.
2232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Will Be US$ 5 million/Coin in 2030, Isn't It Too Much? on: October 27, 2021, 10:46:59 AM
Bitcoin just hit an all-time high this week, although after experiencing a significant correction. The price hike of this most popular cryptocurrency is expected to continue, and there are even bombastic predictions, reaching US$ 5 million/coin or around Rp. 70 billion/coin (exchange rate of Rp. 14,000/US$) in 2030.
do you agree with this opinion??

Source: https://www.cnbcindonesia.com/market/20211024103638-17-286095/harga-bitcoin-bakal-rp-70-miliar-koin-di-2030-lebay-gak-sih

Everyone that has a device that is connected to the Internet can post price predictions, trend analyses or whatever nowadays and i really think you should not care about such predictions at all, except maybe if it is from a very serious and reputable source like a very big company or a big bank or something like that.
Regarding that 5 Million per btc prediction, i have to say, that i just can not see that Happening. This would be almost another x100 from todays price which is already very high.
2233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance owns 82.69% of BNB on: October 27, 2021, 06:19:55 AM
Hello,

My question is knowing that binance holds more than 83% of BNB how trustworthy or long term BNB can be? i seen coins with much less percentage held by devs fall to 0, so how is BNB any different?

First of all it should be clear that binance is now owning all of those 83% percent of bnb. I guess that are just all the bnb that are somehow connected to the exchange like for trading or from users that have staked them on the platform.
That being said i have never been a big Fan of binance and cz as they are just getting to powerful and it is never good for a space if one player gets to strong and is dominating all the other companies. Binance is also not really decentralized which was the reason why cryptos were invented in the first place.
2234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling addiction is getting real on: October 27, 2021, 06:12:41 AM
lost 20k in 2 days , used up all my profits from my portfolio , and i just wanted to keep on going . how you guys stop yourself from betting/gambling on casino ?

looking for ways to bet on sportsbook but not on casino , but stake does not provide the option for that .  Undecided

Sorry to hear that. To lose 20000 $ within 2 days is no joke as this is an amount, that a lot of people don't even have available. From what you are describing, it really sounds like the typical signs of a gambling addiction to me, because you just wanted to keep on gambling probably to win the money back, that you have already lost but on 99% of the cases that is the worst thing you can do. At least you are already aware of your possible gambling addiction which is the first big step to overcome it.
2235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 26, 2021, 04:24:30 PM
st. pauli and regensburg win their home games and remain in 1st and 2nd place. schalke 04 is now third. nürnberg, with the best defense in the 2nd league, has already climbed to 4th place.
ingolstadt and aue are still on the relegation places and sandhausen could get an important point against the relegation by a 2-2 vs werder bremen

I don't follow the second bundesliga that closely but i keep an eye on it as i want to know of course how the big old clubs that "should" be in the first bundesliga are faring this season and so far i would say that both Schalke and Hamburg (HSV) are doing quite well. I would say that Schalke is doing even better then expected so far as they are completely new to the second bundesliga and we have a lot of example of big Bundesliga clubs that were relegated into the second league and had huge problems to be successful in the second division as it is just a pretty tough league with a lot of strong teams. That is also happening again with Werder Bremen so far in this season it seems.
2236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin only? on: October 26, 2021, 04:17:58 PM
What else do you invest in?  Huh
It is good to diversify portfolio so I am looking for inspiration

What do you think?
Is there something interesting coming?

I know that there are a lot of bitcoin enthusiasts or maximalists on this forum that say that every other coin than bitcoin is a shit coin and not worth to invest in but to be honest i think this statement is wrong of course and i also think, that it is kinda arrogant to say. If you were early into crypto and by that i mean before 2015 or so and you bought 5 bitcoins back then for 1000$ then of course it is very easy to say know that every other coins is a shit coin, but i am pretty new to crypto and i don't have a whole BTC or a few ETH that i can just hodl or invest into other big projects. Every investment that i make comes from FIAT from my bank account and that is why i don't invest into bitcoin because i just don`t like the fact that i get 0,0015 bitcoin for 100$. I rather get 100 coins of a new and promising project for the same amount of money. Of course the risk is higher there, but you also have the small chance for a big profit.
2237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 26, 2021, 10:30:18 AM
I won't be surprised if Man Utd sacks Ole today, tomorrow or in the coming weeks and opt for Conte. They're really struggling under Ole and Liverpool made it very obvious yesterday. At this point, I think man Utd fans would be happy with anyone as far as it isn't Ole... I would be really surprised if Man Utd management doesn't replace Ole.
Official MU has been standing out to will not sack him, that possible MU will lose a lot of money because there is a strong contract to do not fire him in the middle session. In this current situation is just Ole who has the decision, if he still has shame, then he should resign. I hear the rumors about Derby Country coach (Wayne Rooney) is so excited to replace Ole, but it's just a rumor. and I agree with you, whoever it is, isn't Ole.

I don't think that ole will be the coach of ManU for much longer. If they are not successful in their next two matches then he has to go in my opinion. Manchester just can not afford to miss the european championships for next season. I am also not really convinced that wayne rooney would be such a great coach for Manchester United as i am always skeptical about former great players that are now coaches because i think a lot of them are just not good as a coach.
2238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: October 26, 2021, 10:11:34 AM
I found a news that the Shiba Inu commuity is not happy with Elon Musk. $SHIB crashed after Musk revealed he didn’t own it and only had BTC, ETH and DOGE. Elon Musk has a Shiba Inu puppy at home. Elon Musk has joked about Shiba Inu, but Elon Musk doesn’t hodl Shiba Inu.

Why should he own shiba inu? Just because he owns a dog like that and he owns Dogecoin? I don't really think that this alone justifies the conclusion that elon musk is owning shiba inu or that he even should own shiba inu to support the project or stuff like that. Shiba is a second generation meme-coin or shit-coin and has in my opinion no real reason to exist as it offers zero use cases or benefits for it's users. So why should it be endorsed by someone else then it's bag holders.
2239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 26, 2021, 05:38:56 AM
Freiburg defeated Wolfsburg and they are still following these two big clubs closely. But I wonder until when they will be able to keep up this performance. I hope to see a title race between Dortmund and Bayern Munich till the end.
Freiburg is doing good so far but I still doubt they could hold these good results for long. There will be a change in the table before the opening of the next transfer window imo. For Dortmund, their next games are quite challenging and the difference between it and Bayern might get bigger before their match in December tho

Freiburg is really performing absolutely incredible this year and even though they already had great seasons in the past few years with a 5th place for example a few years ago, they never were this far up the Bundesliga table after already 9 matchdays. I don't think though that this will last for the whole season and i hope that their Fans are not getting to high hopes at the moment that Freiburg might play in the Champions League next year or stuff like that. If they are in within the first 10 of the Bundesliga table after the last matchday then it was a successful season for Freiburg.
2240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations for crypto currencies on: October 26, 2021, 05:30:09 AM
Regulatory issues for cryptocurrency have actually been around for a long time.  In fact, it was several years ago.  But it seems, in the past year or so, it has become a serious topic of discussion in several countries.  And it seems, some countries will soon implement it.  What I personally think is, if true, many countries start implementing regulations for crypto currency, will this change the nature of crypto, namely decentralization to not being fully decentralized?  What do your friends think here?  Please share, hopefully this can add insight for all of us 😊🙏

It is true that the topic of regulations that are coming for cryptocurrencies and crypto related projects are discussed in this forum and other crypto platforms for years now. Many crypto enthusiasts are very skeptical and maybe even afraid of regulations for crypto because they fear that crypto will lose it's biggest selling point and feature the decentralization and the total financial freedom of it's users because of that and i totally understand that. I also think though that there needs to be some regulations happening before crypto can become really mainstream.
