I didn't think this was addressable in any situation. It's easily seen on polo and in general in everyday life. Shortsightedness and personal greed is a disease that should have been bred out of the human race. And if it does not become a thing of the past we will join the dinosaurs. There hasn't been much pruning on the human tree for a few hundred years. Like any exponential growth, however, global population is setting up for a hell of a crash. Just look at the charts ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Presumably those with foresight will overall fare better than those without, which might take us one step closer to your goal. I could also argue that greed is (or is a result of) foresight, to some degree...

everyone know the infinite perpetual coin minting in monero will keep the coin crashing down becasue it will dilute the intrinsic value, everyone will sell at lower price until they all jump ship with fork and embrace "classic monero" or somethin
EDIT :: inflation is a theory backed by math
Monero's tail inflation rate is less that the historical inflation rate of gold, the Austrian "gold standard" for money. It will also reach an end state of a fixed money supply assuming any rate of lost coins >0% Aren't there other solutions to this problem? I wonder what S. Nakamoto had in mind for Bitcoin. Something genius good no doubt... A stage beyond the scope of the original experiment ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Low volume rise, asks back pedaling and pulling out...

Holy green shoots! 50K market buy. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Accumulation has started? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Short closing, most likely. Look at available loans ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Assuming this was a short coverage, I wonder who acts that violently? By giving markets for the sellers the short covering would have resulted with higher profits. Slower but steady will always result with higher amounts of profits rather than quick and sudden. But what about the fun factor? Made me smile. I'm sure who ever pushed the button got a kick out of it too, or it probably would have been done as you say.

Many people say this is a dead cat bounce but didnt it already happen when it went from
0.00207000 to 0.00268282 and all the way back to 0.00200000
If there's a way to make a dead cat bounce more than once, I don't want to hear about it. Conclusion: its ALIVE!Cats have 9 lives = 9 bounces? And then a dead cat bounce.

BTCWisdom seem broken. It is not broadcasting the prices correctly, since 3h it draws flat prices in all coins, inside the exchanges you get the real working graphics.

We're going from bad to worse.....
I purchased a bit right before polo went down. What's the price at?Exceedingly stable, at 0.00231169 Kind of like a safety meeting: Nobody Works, Nobody Gets Hurt. How can you call a 40% drop in a few days "Exceedingly stable"? I get that you are long on XMR, but that is delusional as hell. ThePatient asked about price since polo went down. I answered quite literally. No change is stable. Loosen up a little.

My volatility addiction is starting to wear me down. Bitcoin chart is no substitute for entertainment. Looks like -----------_-------___--------__------_-------------___________--________--------- much bore.

Someone dumped too hard, and broke Poloniex.
Pls don't joke around... I have way too many coins on polo for that to be funny. DDoS? I don't know. Its been unavailable for at least 10 15 minutes, no feed to bitcoinwisdom. edit - just got a page loaded, but no very slow to load data. Likely a loser attack.

Red hammer just got painted on the daily XMR/XBT chart.
Look at the handle on that thing! Also, record high XMR/BTC volume day, in the books.

Im still laughing at this dump last year it took 4 weeks to dump back to 0.0020 this year it took 3 days
As has been stated by many here, this time is not like last time If we hang around sub .0025 long enough, I will likely add some BTC to polo. I have no idea which way it will go, but its been fun so far, and bound to continue to be a roller coaster.

I showed my bank manager a post by fluffypony saying we should not invest in monero. That convinced him enough to let me mortgage my future space yacht to be able to buy more monero...
Me too! I think they are going to bundle those mortgages and sell them to Iceland or something like that. In the mean time, more moneroj!
