Horrible translation from Google:

Bad news 1. The dive in 2972 intersected with the previous hay of 2980 (September 2). Hence, the correction will be oily.
Bad news 2. After the rebound, we can easily go zigzag at 2300.

Good news 1. It will all bounce back at least 61.2% (4200) in the short term.
Good news 2. The crossing gave me a clue about the end of this seemingly endless wave. And I finally drew the Elliott countdown.
Good news 3. Here the end of the historic triplet is not even visible at all. We are still drawing the top three pink subwaves. And there will be 4 and 5, and pink can be only the first FM. TLDR: Everything is just beginning.

$ 9600 in the post stick - the limit of the historical triple I think was greatly underestimated. After correction, the price can be drowned in this level, but this will be even lower than the middle ...

Technical infa. Bitcoin fell out of love with the triangles-fours and fell in love with the cut-down fives.

(sorry I didn't manage to display the picture, but the timeline is interesting, going around 2019 for the next break)

Does he always work on a linear chart?

Hi
I think Monero is good BUT I think the market cap is huge for such a small project, to date.
Nothing so serious yet.
It might get value but much later.

OK thanks.  So should I wait to buy?

Haha troll the troll.
I got also some PMs that I can get "DeepOnion" coins for free. No thanks. Cheesy

Too expensive.  Waiting for them to sweeten the offer enough to be worth my time...

I just set up a notebook with ubuntu (deleting windows 10), and the 0.11.0.0 GUI.  This is an offline only computer with minimal storage, so no blockchain/updates.   Getting this far has expanded my experience drastically, but now I'm stumbling...  Can I set up my online computer's GUI to show a view-only version of the offline wallet(s) without entering any private keys or seeds?  Doing so would seem to defeat the purpose...  Also, is there a concise tutorial for creating transactions from the offline setup?  TIA

Had to sell a bit to cover Q3 taxes and equipment. I hate selling on a dip, drat....

A sign of being overly invested.. in other words, you do not have your expenses projected out on a long enough timeline in order to provide you a large enough float.. whether that float needs to be $1k or $10k or $20k is something for you to determine ( but seems like you don't quite have it down, yet).

I tend to project my expenses out a minimum of 6 months and frequently into the 18months or more timeline... so a lillie dip like this (and only for about 2 weeks) has not been going on long enough to cause anything close to cash flow pressures - Sure, if it goes on for 6 months or it goes down another 50%, then that could be another story for me, and I would want to start adjusting now for what could happen 6 months from now so I am not selling at the bottom, if that were the case.

Incorrect. I run a business here, one that needs to pay for itself first. If I were to pay for things using pocket money then I would be essentially investing that in bitcoin, which is not my intent. Therefore when I have to buy supplies I batch withdraw some bitcoin and note it in the ledger. Same with taxes and such.

Besides this little dip is in the middle of the most amazing run ever. I don't try to time the market, I let the chips fall where they may.

That's crazy, you should do it the JJG way.  Project your expenses 6 months from now and then sell at the top so you don't have to sell during a "lillie dip".  How hard is that?  If you don't have perfect market timing then you must be "overly invested".

Roll Eyes

Or just put him on ignore.  He is the first and only person I've ever ignored and it is blissful.  So arrogant and loves to see himself type.

LOL

It is interesting to observe that after the last pump and correction XMR has stabilized around above 100 USD pretty nice. We will see if this floor can be the basis for another jump when light wallets and other updates and news follow.

Usability is improving rapidly, and just 2 minutes ago, the block reward got smaller.  Oops, there it goes again!  Get 'em while you can  Wink

Well that puts him in company with a lot of others.  What's the point, exactly?

Ok, nuff said.

BTC only here, nothing else. I get it, myopia rules.   I am a BTC hodler to the end.  I just look happen to look around too. And it's been both informative and incredibly lucrative.

I ain't trolling BTS FFS.  Just trying to see beyond into the 50% of the CC market that 'shall not be mentioned'.

Not everything else is shitcoins.

/OT

LOL mentioning anything other than BTC (of one flavor or another) here is like mentioning crypto 'out there'.  Don't waste your breath.  Some with eventually pull their heads out, and look around on their own.  Fair enough, it is a BTC thread.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 11, 2017, 12:03:30 AM

Could be wrong, though, of course... this is crypto, any damn weird thing can happen LOL -- but that's how it feels/looks to me Smiley

That is how I feel, except the other way round.

The upsurge of interest from the previously unconverted, and long time skeptical ppl from all quarters,  is screaming to me that the peak is in  (based on decades of closely following markets)..

but I am hoping that I am wrong.

In trading, I so frequently find I am saying to myself  ' damn, I wish I hadn't been correct'.  Only long-time, hard-bitten traders will understand that.

Understandable, but, I don't see a 'peak' yet.  Just some swelling foothills that always precede the peak (BTC) The steady rise and consolidate program should shift to an up up and away format, followed by a peak, and a 50% retrace.  There just hasn't been enough excitement, and Peter Schiff still has hair.  Masterluc's projection fits with my gut feeling.

Do you think the targets of 500 and 1000 dollar are somewhere sustainable in the future? Like in a few months/years maybe?

No.  It is impossible.  We've seen the high, all we can do is sell as much as possible, as high as possible.  The coin is dead, nobody's working on it anymore.  There is not even a GUI for the latest release.  Too bad, it was such a great idea.  Undecided

OK.  The non-sarcastic answer:  No, I doubt those levels will be sustainable for long.  Likely to be blown through and never revisited, within months/years.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 10, 2017, 01:50:29 AM
Anyone notice how lately the XMR price as listed on www.monero.how has been notably higher on the two smallest exchanges...

Code:
USD/XMR EXCHANGES
Price 24hr Volume (XMR)
Bitfinex 115.35 29,000
Bittrex 115.03 2,870
Kraken 116.58 2,544
Livecoin 121.81 261
Exmo 120.70 232

...usually these kind of arbitrage opportunities don't last more than a few minutes: this seems to have been persistent a few days since I noticed it.

Anyone lately try to arb from Livecoin/Exmo to Bittrex/Kraken, or what's the deal here? What's the catch? Some kind of hidden fee or something?

Check volume.  Live coin, dead exchange?  NO point if you can only make $10.
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 10, 2017, 01:12:46 AM
the new release of the wallet is called Helium Hydra, is this a pure coincidence? since there is another project comming called Helium, also has function of sending coins anonymously

The Monero naming scheme was decided to go in order of elements more than a year ago with release of Hydrogen Hydra (?). They went out of order for Wolfram Warptangent to honor a contributor that passed away. Now getting back on track with Helium, next release will be Lithium (Leviathan?).

Hydrogen Helix  iirc ?

So ArticMine jumped the gun a little?

I took the statement on the page 0.11.0.0 at face value without checking the actual downloads. They are all still 0.10.3.1

No worries.  Anyone requiring the GUI can still safely run 0.10.3.1 for a few more days.

What kind of fucking moron sells nearly all gold reserves at the absolute bottom? (Besides England  Cheesy )
Maduro did (and after Chavez spent so much time repatriating it back). Just look at Venezuela now.

I looked, but didn't see much through the smoke...  Coming to a Theater Near You!

The  0.11.0.0 Helium Hydra GUI for GNU/Linux, 64bit and 32bit, Microsoft Windows 64bit and Mac OS X 64bit are now available for download. https://getmonero.org/downloads/

great, just downloaded and want to run the GUI, but it all the time gives me an error cause it can not connect with local node ... something goes bad loading the monerod... tried it on another pc , in another netwerk and same issue. Could somebody help?

The GUI binaries aren't finalized yet. The download page still states GUI Beta 2.

So ArticMine jumped the gun a little?
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The great ETH Exodus on: September 09, 2017, 06:09:30 PM
Well it's finally here, the little pumps are nothing more than to keep the exiters price up. The ATH will never be hit again and I expect in 6 months for the price to be about 25% of what it is now.

Which is where it was about 6 months ago.  Shorters, on your mark!  LOL @ angry bag holders on polo  Cheesy

Good evening Bitcoinland. Cheesy

Bitcoin again skewed into 4300 -
ETH to into "stunning"  302 +/-
sadly.. (or i will use trump twitter -SAD)  like 96% of the planet's inhabitants. I do not have enough money to invest in the risk "casino chip"  IN name of Bitcoin )) .. now..  Cheesy
everything is in chinese hands . investment from the west are minimally or embarrassing Kiss
You only sheep for slaughter..
Canada dreaming about expensive casino chip  for  buy lost gold back in to state . or bankruptcy )))

Canada has been discreetly bankrupt for years.  The gold wan't "lost".  What kind of fucking moron sells nearly all gold reserves at the absolute bottom? (Besides England  Cheesy )  Castrourdoeau just put the icing on the cake.  Or rather, licked it from the plate.  Even the Vampire Squid is buying physical gold, FFS.   If Canada had BTC  It would have been sold off at $152.
