I packed my bags a month ago. Just been hanging out at the airport spaceport, waiting for the journey to begin in earnest. There has been much drama at the other gates, for entertainment while I wait.

Windoze 64bit updated quick and smooth. Awesome as usual.

upgrading so we get more TPS is urgent.
failure to upgrade within 6-9 months mean bitcoin WILL _____
Die? Fork? Stop existing? Explode? Go moon? __________ = flat line. Ahh thanks for explaining. Now i can sleep at peace tonight. So bitcoin will be a Tether 2.0 Still wondering how that crypto could go so flat. Must be some whales keep it stable. On topic: i dreamed about bitcoin that it would go to 200$ yesterday lol. The FUD was real No, flat line, like what your doctor and family would not want to see on your electrocardiogram reading. Now you are making assumptions...

So guys, I've been out of the crypto space for about a year.
Came back to Monero's huge rise (congrats!), Ethereum's parabolic rise (not really a surprise) but Dash???
Figured it'd be dead or well below XMR by now. Can someone give me the basic rundown on what's happened to it in the last year? I'm aware of the premine, marketing as anon when it wasn't, masternodes, etc. Has anything really changed? I hear Roger Ver was pushing it?
Kinda contemplating opening a short against it against Monero or just fiat
Liquidity is low, coins are mostly controlled by a very small group. They've burned a lot of shorters thus far, but I don't see how it could be pumped much higher from here. Another thing that hasn't changed with it is transaction volume. Uh, ever. Zero adoption. So yes, it looks like a prime short to everyone that investigates at all. Sooner or later, shorters will kill it, but the club is holding all of the loan coins as well, keeping the rates very high. They did time this well, quite possibly with the help of Roger Ver and friends to help put the squeeze on BTC. Theories abound, this is one of them.

It's been remarkably quiet in here lately, given the price action. Everyone glued to BTC drama?

Thing is, it really isn't about to fork any time soon, not without consensus. I'd be willing to wager that too. Does not matter though, too much uncertainty for new money to bare. The downside to the influx we witnessed these past couple months. Question is, when will the fog lift?
Yeah, $750 could be tested, but I would not be shocked to see one more push up the the 1025 range first.
Zooming out on the charts you can see what looks like a cup and handle. This dump could be necessary before the handle forms. In the long run I'm not worried, I don't think there will be a fork, and sooner or later that handle will form. The best time to buy is when there's blood on the streets, and that's probably now. As in December 2013 size cup? That's what I'm hoping for. The price has been held back by so many events for so long that I'm beginning to wonder if the market's stopped caring and just wants to go up regardless of what happens. There's a giant cup in the charts that's just waiting for a 2013 style handle. Any respectable handle is going to have to cut to $800.

I think a lot of what's being sold, is staying in crypto at least and going into the Alts... somewhat There is really a lot of unusual places in Alts to make money during this "hopefully" short Bitcoin crises lol meh if poeple we're fleeing to Fiat for some dumb shit reason... i'd be less worried Did you dump all of your ETH last year or are you still riding that bull?
|
|

Looks like they trade baskets of fruit too.
|
|
|
parity with dash coin
when did they add eth last year ?
I think that is not feasible at this time. Unless you factor in some dashcrash action. XMR liquidity is in a different universe from douche coin. ETH I think is certainly within reach though.

if btu get more hash it will become btc period~ the old chain will get ditched quick! lol :-D weee
what BU needs is more support in general. ^ dynamical adjusting blocks that can go way bigger on demand if technically achievable in a secure way is not a bad idea!...the part about unlimited official president and etc are not to be taken seriously !!!jmho :-D What a novel idea! Someone should try to code that.

Really thought the BTC ETF would double my BTC in maybe a month or so. Instead XMR did it in 6 days?? I said my target was .0225 the other day, but that seems like a given now. Wonder how many more folks will hedge with Monero? The longer I hedge, the more I read the forums, and my interest grows. Clever marketing boyz Knock knock: .0225

Looks like the EFT news is slowly/finally kicking in and BTC is going to retrace to (insert your figure). But BTC weakness means we are approaching the XMR/BTC ATH
I do hope XMR investors don't follow the bearish sentiment as has happened of late.
I see a great green forest of happiness. I'm picking features for the new truck now What bears? You know, we are going to need to see pictures of this now infamous truck Haha it will happen, I promise. Its just taking a little longer than I'd hoped. What's a year in the grand scheme of things
