I've tried to avoid the debate on how to treat gin. I enjoy it with Schwepp's and a twist as well as with Dolin's and an olive and a few drops of the brine.

But Bombay Sapphire for gawd's sake? Isn't that something they use for stripping paint? It's barely better than Beefeater or Gilbey's.

To rank it above Tanqueray is a sacrilege and Tanqueray is just middle-of -the-road. I prefer Hendrick's (especially Orbium) for a more subtle, refined taste and Gordon's for full-on honest juniper goodness.

To each their own, I guess. I place Sapphire, Tanqueray, and even Hendricks as about equivalent quality-wise. I just like the mix of infused botanicals in Sapphire.

Hendricks is good for a change of pace from time to time. Cucumber garnish, please.

Gordon's!? Egad, sir! Begone from this place with that turpentine! Well, I guess it's not _crap_ per se - just bland as all nothingness.

Jack Daniels

i feel like such the barbarian.

and our WO member potentially with covid-19..

not sure if there's been a miscommunication here

earlier i said there's a bitcoiner (so, not a WO member) thinks he might have covid

and a WO member having a babby

edit: wait someone else?

reading fail on my part i think.

at this point though we bitcoiners, nocoiners and WO peeps are pretty much in the same boat.

I don't care about the virus so much as the effect it is having on my inability to purchase alcohol.

In 2 days we go into total lockdown for 30 days with mandatory 24/7 curfews.

I was caught with my pants down and am finally moving out of a hotel into an apartment with a kitchen tomorrow, just in time to try to buy some rice and whatever else will last for 30 days... Panic hoarding is a luxury here because most people can't afford to do it, so I ought to be OK. I fear nothing but fear itself.

not liking this.

alcoholics can die from DTs, or thats the reasoning why liquor stores are considered "essential businesses" in most states so far.

and our WO member potentially with covid-19..

best to all of us who are and will be effected in one way or another.

I thought the genesis block had a bug that made it impossible to move the coins off it.

Nobody's working, stocks are up 6-8%.

Makes no sense.

the ((money)) is now finished with the bribes and such and they know where the fixes are in. perfect bullish for stocks.

... another bottleneck exposed in modern society by the virus, just-in-time funeral services.

I bet Silicon Valley can come up with a funeral home share app for that, with surge pricing to cater for unexpected demand too.

Out of curiosity, how would a non just in time funeral home work? Would they have bodies on stock in case deliverys run out?

should be doable if dead bodies are fungible.

That's why we need to blockchain all the dead so that we keep traceability and can make sure it is our own dead... before they start cutting some roads like that.

blockchain for the dead? does that mean if i smoke enough hash(ist) i can 51% death and reorg the dead?

The dems, still being in the minority, can't push through lambos for all.

speaking of lambos, now that some car companies are apparently making ventilator parts..

we ARE going to get lambo ventilators right?

How exactly would it deal with the unexpected demand? Could people rent out their homes for funerals and backyards for grave sites?
You tuck the phone into the person's pocket, battery overloads, cremation.

Looking at the most optimistic death figure predictions... I don't think we have enough samsung phones for that.

yeah they released their infernophone too early and had to recall them all as there was low demand for "kill-it-with-fire" back then.. wonder if they kept all those note 7s to re release it for emergencies like this.

edit
where is that "halt and catch fire" command when you actually need it

remember

the thing mutates

and there is suggestion that the second round kills you deader than shit

I read that corona viruses are stable and not prone to mutate, unlike the flu.
I don't believe "the second will kill you" rumors, haven't read that in any reputable paper.

let's hope

I don't know shit, just a monkey with a keyboard here

i thought mutations usually were in the less lethal direction as the virus wants the host to survive after all.. but same here, just another monkey shitposting.

was weird grilling meat out on the deck in perfect comfort the other day while knowing there is a war coming. human vs the virii. who will win..

If things get really bad and they start shutting down centralized messaging services, what are our decentralized options?

Yea! (starts cranking up the old bbs) (see my thread below installs 5 min to look it over ...bingo bango decentralized BBS's yet) Smiley

edit: WO thread...can't see signature...anyway below.

Current and Win 10 compatible (also Linux) BBS System. www.synchro.net

Quick install runs dos door games under Win10 and others. Last update 1/1/19. Look it over it is in interesting install to look over and then uninstall if nothing else. Freeware.

cp/m 2.2
300 baud modem
dialup BBS
terminal emulator

jjg would not like the 300 baud, might need a separate line just for jjg

All the big cities are deserted, reality surpasses fiction again, only the Martians remain to appear and we will have the complete apocalyptic pack.

hey, easy now

one horse at a time please

Sorry, what does the phrase mean? my english does not capture the meaning.
You can express it in another way so that I can understand it?
