2241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Emotions; while betting, will you risk losing your fund to back your club? on: September 27, 2019, 03:25:05 AM
Don't know how to put this but I'll try. So lets say your fav club is about playing against a tougher club which on paper they're far better than your club but in your inner most mind you want your club to win therefore, when it comes to placing a bet, which club will you go far. Will you risk losing the bet to back your team winning that match, when you know the chances of them succeeding are almost impossible but since it's football anything is possible or will you bet against you club winning that match but while the match is ongoing you'll be routing for your club to win (in other words routing for yourself to lose your bet)?

How do you balance the emotion of wanting your club to win but not ready to lose your bet in the toughest of games.

It's going to be depressing, so free yourself from this situation by not betting against your team, I have never done that in my sports betting when my team is facing a very strong team I just don't bet and cheer for my team unless I am comfortable betting against my favorite team.
2242  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jinbi Token: Attention Scam on: September 27, 2019, 12:49:02 AM
This is very unfortunate, this is why so many bounty hunters are leaving the bounty campaign, they are not distributing the tokens after months of efforts, checking the thread people have gone KYC here, and there's no continuation of the project because people are asking and no one among the team is answering.
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the future ?? on: September 27, 2019, 12:37:48 AM
This year; ieo unfolded.

It was supposed to surpass ico and be a better crowdfunding method; but it has gone cold faster than ico did.

If you compare Your experiences too; between altcoin and bitcoin; you would notice that

1. Altcoins are so many; that they replace one another.
If an old altcoin dies
New altcoins will replace them and old one will be forgotten... It goes on and on

2. Bitcoin has maintained its class and importance;

Is it that bitcoin is the only hope for the future ??

With Bitcoin dominance increasing it really is the future of Cryptocurrency, gone are the old days when new coins will have full support and investors in a hurry to invest in a new coin thinking it's the next best thing, that's not going to happen now, investors are more wiser than, they knew some new coins are just recycled of the old one with nothing to offer.

Bitcoin should be our main portfolio because of it's growing dominance, with so many scams ICO in the past, investors want to regain their losses by investing in a more stable coin like Bitcoin, Ethereum Eos among others, I can't keep with the number of coins that has gone from a hype to dump coins.
2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Private sale in China on: September 26, 2019, 02:49:09 PM
Chinese crypto market is clearly different and unique in its nature similar to the uniqueness of almost everything in China.
A few weeks ago I was on a China tour visiting numerous VCs to initiate the funding process of my crypto project.
I realized that the investors, regardless of their shapes and sizes, are mainly interested in one thing; The token performance. The idea and technology behind the project comes in second place - or maybe later.
However, I came back with huge learnings. As a tech guy I focused primarily on the technology. But obviously community build up and PR are key factors.
If the public are keen to buy your token your project is a success. Long term is not an option.

How has the market and investor apetite changed in the past few months in the USA?

Are there still angel investors in the crypto space?

That's interesting I just thought, all investors are looking for technology, and concept but to the Chinese, they are more on hype, this could be the reason why we have so many pumps and dump coins in the market, PR and marketing are great but it cannot sustain without something the community will use that will identify the coin.
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A quick disturbing question on: September 26, 2019, 10:18:16 AM
Hi fellas i am back again to throw a question at you all, this time i want to know exactly what will happen to coins and tokens that are listed on exchanges with no volume or too low volume after market start recovering, or if altcoins start surging in value, will these exchanges automatically have volumes due to the market surge or they will stay the same Huh?thanks

Exchanges volumes very much depend on the volume of the coins that are listed in their platform, this is the reason why they only list coins that has a potential in the market and with good support from investors, and they are in a hurry to delist coins that do not have volumes because it just a big load to their database.
2246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: September 26, 2019, 10:03:28 AM
Will you choose to invest in bitcoin now that its at 8k or still continue investing in altcoin since many big altcoins have already lose up to 30% value again, well i decide to invest in bitcoin if further value loss takes place and i keep buying bnb token and ETH too, good idea or bad idea??

I definitely will if I have the funds I just bought in it's first dip three days ago and I encourage everyone who have not yet, opportunities like this, come and go, we never know what's going to happen tomorrow, the market is very volatile it could continue to drop or it will go up again, but the top coins in the market will always bounce back.
2247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: stick to the same option or switch to another option? on: September 25, 2019, 03:00:59 PM
Is crypto included in the ponzi scheme to get rich quickly?
in most cases I have observed why people rush to get short profits, this is not a good way. I mean the decisions they make are not based on common sense.

This is not what you think, if you think that crypto can become rich overnight, you don't need to bother avoiding investment risks. You only need to focus on crypto investments that you think can make you rich.

but unfortunately the market says it's different, there is no way to get quick profits & all you have to do is how you can survive in this market. between a fixed choice with the same option or switch with another option.
It's part of investing in Cryptocurrency, it's expected you have no control of investors if they want to sell their shares, in a short period of time, or they can hodl it and sell in the future, developers should prove that they are here for a long time and their platform will become a platform the community can use.
2248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: September 25, 2019, 02:13:56 PM
It's possible that in the future every country will have their own exchange, exchange is a huge business and every company wants a slice of the market, for me it's not tright that 10 excahanges will control the whole market, the more exchanges the more volume and they are going to satisfy investors to meet their standard.
2249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look For In A Bounty Campaign on: September 25, 2019, 10:57:18 AM
I recently started managing my first bounty campaign, however, its been a few days and we have yet to see any traction.

The project I'm managing the campaign for is currently in their early startup stages, however, they are running on the VeChainThor Blockchain, they are closely related and in collaboration with an existing prominent project, and are set to release their MVP before the public sale is even set to end.

All these are clear indications, at least to myself, that the project is legitimate and seems to have potential to be a great success. So I would have expected to see more traction by now, but I haven't.

So my question to you all, what do you look for in a bounty campaign?
Do you value a project with a better product, or a project that is giving away higher rewards?
Are there any requirements that steer you away from participating in a campaign?

Any insight and feedback would be extremely helpful so that I can adjust my campaign if needed in order to maximize the results.

Thanks!

I'll look on the concept first, then the team composition if they are really experts in their fields, these two issues are the one that can make or break projects, they failed to present projects that can stand for long term, if you are going to launch a fund drive better show to investors how good the project is, and the people behind it are real too.
2250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There has never been a worse time to hold altcoins on: September 24, 2019, 12:06:45 AM

Stop deluding yourselves, the altcoin market is not coming back, and if it does come back, you better dump whatever you have left because there are no chances of it pumping ever again beyond an exit scam. Smart money has learned to stop pumping shitcoins. Altcoin continue to sink against BTC. Dollar valuations don't matter because altcoins have no liquidity outside of BTC, so with BTC pairs going down you are going to lose purchasing power during the process. And still, they eventually keep going down against assorted fiats too.

Bottomline is, you are holding a massive hot potatoes bag by having a diversified "crypto portfolio" in altcoins. Sure there will always be the odd ones that pump, but that's worse than going to the casino. You might as well trade regulated penny stocks if you want to bet on low caps going to the moon, where there are less chances of getting screwed over by massive scammers. At least you surely lower exchange rate risk (and most of those shitcoins are listed in shady exchanges).

I believe it you have a graph and data to back it up and I'm also experiencing it that, I never thought that it's going to happen, so many projects are being launched without a return of positive feedback, there are so many project reports in the scam section, this is really not the best time to invest in a new coins or altcoins with no usage.
2251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: September 23, 2019, 03:33:55 PM
We always see the price rise for a short period after the listing in the exchanges or after IEO, but soon price be come down,
this may due to two reasons:
The first reason is that the coin or token has no real value.
The second reason is the large sale of those who got his coin  free such as airdrop.
Isn't that true?

All of your opinion and observation are all true, but the hardest thing to accept is the developers run away with the loot or investor's money after doing crowdfunding, they list the coins and after that, we never hear from them again hundreds of projects are like that two examples are Resto Token and Konios
2252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Token Swaps Kill The Idea Of Hodling on: September 23, 2019, 03:09:43 PM
A token swap, is the switching of digital tokens from one blockchain onto another blockchain. This usually happens when projects that utilize one blockchain (like ethereum) to facilitate funds, and then desire to move their tokens onto their own private exclusive blockchain as soon as the project’s mainnet has been launched.

Now, for an average long term investor, he buys to hold after hearing of how people hold tokens and after some years or months, they discover that their token value as gone up and then they sell for huge profits.

Most long term investors don't have that time and luxury to be lurking around telegram groups reading chats from admins and bot members. They buy like they would normally purchase shares and wait for it to go up in price while checking once in a while.

The moment a project announces a token swap, the long term investor is not aware of it because they likely don't know much about crypto stuff and don't hang around telegram groups. They just buy and hodl while hoping it moons later on. As a result, tokens are swapped and the investor ends up with losses for a project they believe was going to deliver profits for them. To make it worse, the project team will refuse to swap the investor's token after the deadline has passed.

This is sad as it effectively means you cannot be sure to buy tokens, hodl and go to sleep for 20 years, then wake up and meet it in huge profits. The project devs might have done a swap while you slept and you'd only wake up to meet a bag of worthless shit in your wallet.

If projects want to engage in a token swap, then it has to be done automatically and not manual as not every investor will be aware of the swap announcements.

If it has to be a manual token swap then they should leave the swap open forever so that investors can swap whenever they can do so and not forced to do so at a set deadline.
If projects want to engage in a token swap, then it has to be done automatically and not manual as not every investor will be aware of the swap announcements because majority of these investors has a ful time work and just monitor the media or telegram channel sometimes or weekly, it's an injustice for them to, or they can extend the swap for a few months.
2253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the future anyone wants? on: September 23, 2019, 12:19:07 PM
Libra has raised fears about the future of blockchain mainly because it goes against everything the community wants and believes in: decentralization.

Facebook could ultimately create a massive closed-loop revenue model from ads, digital marketplace, to payments. Do consumers want to bet on the status quo of existing monoliths?

https://elixxir.io/blog/is-libra-the-future-anyone-wants

There's been a lot of speculations about Libra Coin on what and what not it can do to the industry, I'm not a big fan of those Facebook projects, there's a lot of advantages and disadvantages on their project, but we need to see first what will weigh the advantages or disadvantages and we will only know this after Libra Coin launch.
2254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: September 22, 2019, 11:58:09 PM
Before, I was really eager to watch the fight between this two great fighter. But now, I'm not interested anymore to watch neither to wait on their fight schedule if there is a closure agreement will happen, But I had a doubt on this. And besides they are both have good in life now, just like Paquiao, aside from that He has a a lot of big businesses which he built, He was also a public local officials now in the government as a Senator to his country.
Pacquiao is the one who really wants the fight to push through Mayweather is just answering, I have this feeling the fight will not push through if Pacquiao will be beaten by the winner in the Spence Porter fight, it will lack the attraction if Pacquiao loses, but if he wins that's a different story.
2255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty hunters and Exchanges. on: September 22, 2019, 03:23:55 PM
As a Hunter, how many exchange accounts are you expected to have. i have accounts in over 10 exchanges. it is appalling but i have not choice because i have to sell or convert my new earn tokens to an affordable cryptocurrency. is there any limits to the number of exchanges we should join as a bounty hunter?
i believed that more exchanges will still appear in the future.
what is your opinion towards owning a multiple exchange for trading.

6 to 10 accounts is an average for investors and traders, whether you like it or not you have to register on one exchange where the coin that you'd like to buy or sell, is only traded on that exchange, I have not known any bounty hunters, investors and airdrops participants with only one or two exchange.
2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you think is better, buy at tokensale or buy at public exchange? on: September 22, 2019, 02:24:31 PM
Because the cryptocurrency situation is currently not the same as before. So I want to ask all of you in here, so that I don't lose money in investing. Which do you think is better, buy when ico / ieo / tokensale and get a bonus or buy when it is listed in the public exchange/market at a low price? I personally prefer to participate in the tokensale but see the current situation, when a token / coin list in the market is cheap, this makes me very confused to invest. How about you? Can you share your mind and help me out my confused

I'd like to discuss the current market situation, it's better to buy coins that are listed in exchanges than in crowdfunding like ICO, it's already in the market sometimes it's much cheaper, one of the issue that's confronting investors is a failure of the project to list their coin in exchange, so there is a situation that you will be disappointed that the coin that you buy in their crowdfunding takes so long to get listed.

Hello
I would be interested in joining in the Member rank but only for Tier A. Are there or will there be open positions from next week?

You are not reading the main announcement thread on how participants can move in the higher tier, nope that's not going to work, better edit your post or delete it, you are acting a special guy or a bully with your post, this is not how you join a campaign, you lack one thing RESPECT.

Yes it happens to me several times in dice game but it's about going to add more bet and continue to use martingale, once I stopped topping up because I already lost a lot but I do have a feeling that the next roll could be in my favor, but unfortunately I did not follow myt feeling and just proceed to do I have to do the other way around.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: September 22, 2019, 01:40:34 AM
It's most unlikely to happen. But I'm not saying it's not possible. I just think most people would still prefer fiat over cryptocurrency, not only with gambling but as a general. Since it is the traditional one, it's hard to replace it with crypto-based when everyone were used to play using fiat.

They are not going to take away the fist I have seen gambling site that offers fiat and Cryptocurrency deposits, gambling sites will do everything to attract and make their site appealing to every sector of gamblers, they will not want to leave one big sector because they will lose a lot and their gambling site will not be competitive.
2260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Listing on exchanges is affecting projects too on: September 22, 2019, 01:23:30 AM
Why is no one talking about price listing of exchanges? exchanges listing is becoming a huge problem for many start up projects, how can an exchange be demanding for 8btc to list? how will the projects have enough money to work on their roadmap? i think exchange problem is what many of us are not seeing and talking about...it would have been a different story for some projects that lacks funds
I agree that this is the reason why so many new coins are not going for a big exchange, they prefer to list on a second-grade exchange that charges a minimal fee, but if you have a coin that has a good concept, they might let you in with a big discount, and some big exchanges employ a voting requirements plus a small fee to get in.
