1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It seems like it's the end for bounties on: May 05, 2020, 02:26:51 PM
It seems that some scam projects manages to get on exchanges and pretend like everything is normal, they have good aim of exiting scam by introducing bounty campaign that will take weeks and along the way while bounty hunters are promoting the projects some investors attention will be caught, after bounty is about to end the coin or token value will now dumped, by the team

As a bounty Hunter, we create awareness for them to attract investors and they will dump on us leaving bounty hunters with nothing, it seem this is the new trick now, Spyce and Blockburn and IMO did this, no more volume, there was dumps and bounty hunters received nothing

This is not new and these new coins are just a few of them, in the past they have done that also, projects only distributed coins after the team dumped their shares before distributing and developers leaving the project, bounty hunting are now in a sorry state, there are good projects coming along but they have a hard time of getting a lot of promoters because of distrust.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GEOMA Dao ICO Discussion on: May 05, 2020, 05:19:13 AM
I saw in the Geoma dao telegram group, they have sent bounty tokens for Twitter, Telegram and Signature campaigns, but for Articles and Youtube they have not sent them for Gas reasons but in my opinion it is not true, maybe the main reason is bounty participants who have got their tokens sell it on forkdelta and it is unfortunate when the project still needs investor funds to register on a large exchange

Ones you distribute bounty tokens before concluding your sale, this is always the result, some hunters are so desperate they sell their token reward for any amount, am not surprise, anyone can sell on those exchange,
the best idea would have been not to distribute at all until exchange listing is finalized and token already trading before they can distribute,
between the pool was not that much so I don't think it should have any significant impact on the project.

For me it's ok to distribute, if they deferred distributed after announcing they will bounty hunters and developers will lose their reputation, that has been the common complain bounty rewards distribution, if the project is good and had a potential the price will pick up eventually and those dumps in the DEX will be wipe up, there will always demand if the project is that good.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!] on: May 04, 2020, 12:49:58 AM
I heard on a video that they wanted to put ads in the application? and he is thinking of making an ico ?? ...
it's starting to be more and more bizarre this project ..

I seldom run my PI network I let my son do it because he always play mobile legend on my phone, yes I read that they want to post ads on the network, that's going to be a huge profit with over millions of members in their network, but holding an ICO I don't think they have too, they have a very huge premine they can just sell it to private investors and they will have a timeto list it on exchange and sell their very huge premine.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gaming and Mobile Sport Betting May Be Legal After Covid-19 End??? on: May 04, 2020, 12:14:18 AM

The questions:
1. What's about in your country? Are online gambling and sports betting legal?
2. Is there any possibility that this prediction will really occur, more and more countries are legalizing online gaming/gambling and mobile sports betting?
3. How is it related to online gambling that uses cryptocurrency as one of the transactions manners? Will there more and more sites offer online gambling like this?

Please feel free to share your ideas and opinion about this.

In general this likely to happen, in fact some government are doing this now, because they want revenues and taxing this industry is a good way for them to keep up and earn profit while gambling casinos are still off because of this pandemic, our country is very open to this and in fact open the offshore gaming even if we are in a quarantine.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What has been your longest streak of dice losses using martingale ..? on: May 03, 2020, 11:07:05 AM
I’m just trying to collect some data, also I guess this post will be useful for the rest of the forum users.

In my case, in 2018 I loss 32 times one after another using the dice system on freebitco.in.

Greetings

Anyone should not let the number to go up, that number it's way to high, my highest was only 10 and if I reached higher than 10 I will just give up I have calculated that I can go up to 15 it depends on my funds, but if you do martingale you need a very large funds to cover your losses, you need to know when to stop and when to continue.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] BLOCKBURN - Where Cryptocurrency And Online Gaming Meet on: May 03, 2020, 10:19:45 AM

Man! I feel so sorry for IEO investors. I don't how they scammed off them. They sound nice and good going at first, but they started to screw things off. I sold my all holdings while it was going around 10 sats. Now, you get even get a sandwich selling Burn. What a waste of money and time!

All time high was 93 cents and it's only ten months ago, another classic example of pump and dump coin and exit scam, I thought this project was great, even listed as one of  the most promising project just last year, big lesson  to all investors new and old, you can't really be sure.

1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you prefer to invest token or coin? on: May 03, 2020, 04:32:29 AM
ethereum makes scammers work alot easier

Yes it is because it will not take $200 to create a working token, compared if you are going to go Bitcoin derivatives or clone, but it's all about the project I have seen scammers using both algos, it's how good you are in looking and analyzing the project, and the algo is not even one of the criteria.
1289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to buy - question to Hodlers on: May 03, 2020, 02:43:52 AM
Hi fellow Hodlers,

I hope Im right in this subforum to ask the following question that has probably been asked plenty of times?

When do you buy or do you spread out buying Bitcoin with FIAT?

I myself buy Bitcoin every month no matter the price for a set amount from my paycheck, in hopes of averaging the price I buy for.
Before doing that Id wait and hope to catch it at a lower price but that always seemed to go in the wrong way, aka. price went up =)

Im just asking because I want to know if there is a more effective way to do it?

tl;dr When do you buy your Bitcoin?

You are doing right when you are buying when you have an extra funds, it's always invest what you can afford to lose and do not put all your savings, but the best time to buy Bitcoin or any coin is always when the price is down or in the bear market, some people have second thought of doing that because they are not very confident that the market will get up soon.
1290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From year 2099 till 2140 only one bitcoin will be mined... on: May 03, 2020, 02:18:48 AM
It's hard to guess the scenario on that time all of us are not there anymore, but my bet is if miner will continue to mine it must be worth $100k or more by then, to be attractive to miners to mine Bitcoin even if there is only one Bitcoin to mine.
1291  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kim Jong Un The North Korea president trending on twitter on: May 02, 2020, 03:50:01 PM
Kim Jong Un The North Korea president trending on twitter

I would say who is trending is his sister Kim Yo-jong. We had never heard this much about her as now. Way more as when she visited the opening of 2018 Winter Olympics in Seoul.

She become a trending topic because people thought Kim is already dead, and there were reports that she is going to be the next party leader but now that Kim has resurface and he is still alive the trend now shifted on Kim but looking at him he is till fat and look sick, he really need to shape up.
1292  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Prolonged border closure on: May 02, 2020, 03:04:24 PM
What are the main problems that may arise if all countries close (or almost close) their borders for 1-2 years or more?

Fortunately, it cannot be said that some kind of isolation is felt now, because we can easily call (Skype) a person who lives in another country.
But what problems can arise?

Majority of the countries relies to other countries for their basic needs like oil, rice and flour, countries will suffer if the border and the trade in are close, of course some big city also relies revenues coming from tourist, so it's going to be a big blow for them if every country close their borders, we cannot last this long, because we need each other help.
1293  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: To publish my content for free on: May 02, 2020, 11:20:59 AM
Why not try publish0x.com, Steemit and Medium.com, they allow Cryptocurrency related articles and they are crypto targeted too, on publish0X you'll get tip for publishing your articles in their network, Steemit is also doing that and Medium is popular among Crypto developers.
1294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are increasing on: May 02, 2020, 08:42:40 AM
With the recent price increase of BTC, the number of scammers are also increasing. Yesterday I saw a few people posted bitcoin doubler scam link on one of my facebook group. Since the price is increasing, such scam method will also increase. Do not trust any lucrative offer you get, please check on google before putting your money.
Only newbies or those who are risk takers are going to fall for this scam, we all know that doublers should be a thing of the past, so many have fallen to this kind of projects in the past, scam will always continue not only on scheme like doublers, but also on giveaways and ICO and IEO giveaways, this is a multi million industry, so expect the rise of scam projects.
1295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The halving Gusto on: May 02, 2020, 07:18:31 AM

I don't know how many newbies here on bitcointalk are planning on doing the same thing, the halving is well anticipated, and it may(or may not)have a high appreciation in the price of bitcoin; But with that said there are things you should not do.
1)You should not invest more than what you can afford to lose because of the upcoming halving.
2)Do not take loans just to invest in bitcoin(because the halving is close), you could be left with debts to pay.
3)If you do not have knowledge about bitcoin/halving(like my friends), don't just act based on what's on the internet, always verify to make sure you are making the right choice.
4)If you have never invested in bitcoin, you shouldn't just do so now because of the halving, you will be jumping the part you have to learn, and that could mean making mistakes.
5)Do not feel the pressure of investing because alot of people are, it should be your decision and choice to make.

I have always recommend to all my recruits or those who are asking me about investing in Cryptocurrency to sit back first and do a lot of research I can only help them by sending links where they can read information about Cryptocurrency and investing, when it comes to investing, they need a good advice coming from the experts..
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could, would you delete every altcoin? on: May 02, 2020, 04:50:55 AM
I would. Why so many cryptocurrencies should exist? Only one, and all of us would want the same coin.

Like in the real world, we have yens, euros, dollars. Imagine having only 1 currency  Shocked

Wouldn't it be great?

I don't think it would be great it was not even tried on fiat and definitely not worth trying in the Cryptocurrency community, we want decentralization and we do not want controlled by whales, and besides we want an evolving technology it made us a better community when we have Ethereum Tron Waves, and coins with different algos.
1297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: May 01, 2020, 04:27:26 PM
I came across AZBI network bounty few days back and I bookmark the page so I can join later and that will be my first bounty on this forum but I noticed a lie about the project, below is the link to the project

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5243303.0

It's said they are listed on the bounty thread but after going to the exchange where thy claimed to have listed (UNISWAP) I can't find any token called AZBI on the exchange platform, even the second listed exchange called Bamboorelay has no single volume at all.

To me this is a very poor bounty project, they used uniswap name to deceive those who are too quick or haste to make money, there is no demand for this token, it's a dead end, I'm glad I spend my time doing few digs if not I would have joined the campaign.

A good lesson learnt here

This project is not good no buy order or they are not yet taking off yet, but the two exchange where they are listed are Decentralized exchange it's almost free to list your coins there, yet there are people joining the bounty campaign, mostly newbies, this is one of those projects where it is performing badly and I don't think it will go so far because there are no support from the project.

1298  Economy / Economics / Re: The positive impact ~ on: May 01, 2020, 03:18:05 PM
The economic crisis is severe . Undeniably we have reached a rock bottom , where one needs to change everything , how the world works , how we understand economics , how the volatility would be controlled with respect to the Fiat .
I have had taken part in the discussion of a lot of negative but true situation , I would like to ask you guys to mention some positive points on the economic situation and other sectors despite the Corona virus .
Let me mention some positive things that I think could lift some burden up .

1. Due to Quarantine people are spending more time with families plus all the businesses and schools are working online , after the quarantine one can easily hope for an increase in online job opportunities , which is a big deal for some students and other sectors .

2. Home owned businesses + Local business are flourishing, due to Quarantine import and export is definitely not working as efficiently , therefore each country is working towards making their own markets more valuable. Which inturn for the long run means a lot since most of the people are involved in home owned businesses which was ignored previously.

3. People are moving towards Sustainability , countries in the future will be able to take care of the needs of their people , focusing the priority on their areas which inturn boosts the living conditions of the local community.

4. With the Quarantine and complete lockdown , environment is recovering, some of the most severe ozone holes are closed , pollution is getting controlled , feels like it is something that nature did to make sure the earth recovers from the wildfires all around . This means one would be able to efficiently renew the economic situation as a whole.

5. Total renewal of the government and the economic situation is in order , since this system has proved to be inefficient in handling situations like these.

6. Cryptocurrencies are getting more popular since using them have enabled people to sell their services across the globe . without additional documentation and problems.

Good points but the negative impact outweighs the positive, there are a lot of deaths and the majority of countries are on recession it has a huge impact on the life of all the people, people now are living in fear and restrictions, and praying for a cure to this pandemic, I also praying that this pandemic will be over the soonest possible time.
1299  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for more tax. Save your BTC! on: May 01, 2020, 02:38:45 PM
As I haven't paid any income tax since 1997, that's all right with me, but I urge all fellow Bitcoiners to organize themselves, and to plan ahead to avoid the worst...

Or could I be wrong? There will be no more taxes next year?

That's likely to happen, some countries including mine are giving dole out and relief support to workers who are working on a no pay no work basis, the only way to recover is to ask loans from other countries, cut spending, but definitely they will add more taxes to companies and their workers, but it will only happen months after the pandemic is over.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received coins or tokens that you forgot that you promoted on: May 01, 2020, 01:39:54 PM
It happens to me most of the time. Some are even airdrops while some are bounties. Because of that, I do check my wallet from time to time to see if I have received any of such coins. But the issue is that, most of them are not trading so they just occupy space.

I have promoted so many projects in the past that I forgot some of them and only remember after checking my compiled spreadsheets or receiving them, but the worse thing is receiving these coins when they have no value, like what happen to OP, really time wasted for promoting these useless projects.
