2241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 01, 2019, 12:43:22 PM
I don't see anything here but same hate people get for bitcoin, we all know how promising Eth is and i am not surprised seeing someone trying to make it look bad, its nothing now because we've been seeing this long ago
Just let those people think the way they are. As you said, we all know how promising eth is, and haters of a certain altcoin is only natural. We don't know the reason but who knows, maybe he has a bad experience behind this hate. If he hates it, it won't do any harm to eth since supporters believe that even after every dump, there is a great pump that will happen in the future.
2242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 30, 2019, 03:37:26 PM
Almost every day a new person comes up with the claim that he/she is the real Satoshi. The real satoshi surely does not want any kind of fame. If he/she/they want fame he could have disclosed his identity earlier. But what could be the possible reason that Satoshi still hides his identity? Does he have a big plan for the future?
I think there are many reason that make Satoshi hides his identity. Privacy is an important feature of Bitcoin so he want to do the same to his identity. Now we can see that the governments want to shutdowns Bitcoin and imagine what will they do if they know its father.
Yes, there are so many possible things to happen if the real satoshi will identify himself. It can bring something bad since the brain behind bitcoin will be identified and taking over or controlling it will be possible if this will happen.
2243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: November 30, 2019, 12:36:43 PM
if I were you ,better search again or make a deposit of more than $100 to trade and consider the existing $9 as a means of trading fee or to make a withdrawal fee as well I have no intention to trade in the amount of $9 that is so minimal and its very wasting my time
Yes, it would be a better choice, since $9 won't do any good. It will take a lot of time before you can make a decent profit from it. Considering to add more funds to at least increase the possible profit to be made in trading. Maximizing it will be better than to waste your time to make it grow, it is like you will do trading starting from scratch, which is really hard if you do not have a decent capital to begin with.
2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signal Premium?? on: November 30, 2019, 12:05:04 PM
Participating in high-end trading signals is an honor. You're a lucky person to have good friends offer to join this time. No doubt it's a good opportunity. try to listen.
Youre totally wrong buddy premium or not all crypto signal are all the same and they are just a group meant by the leader to pump his puppet coin and the leaders are to make profit while the group members are the prey.
OP, your instinct was right when you're doubtful about the group and I will advise you to work on improving your trading experience and skills rather than joining a lame group.
I do agree, they are just spreading words to benefit themselves. It is not about sharing ideas or the information of a certain coin that will pump, but to gather users and to increase the demand then make a profit themselves. After that they will just let the members to take all the losses while they enjoy making profit.
i am ever joining in market this group and i get loss , price pumped and dumped fastly till we have no chance to close our order. I do agree that owner group only the person who will take profits , they just take advantages for their self and dont care to their member..maybe if our money that used to pay membership fee could used to pay trading site knowledge source it will be better to us.
That's how it works, after pump, heavy dump will come till most of the members of the group will have losses. They just take advantage of making profit by creating fake pump. I have never been part of a group such that, but I know someone who have losses because of that. A friend of mine told me that I should never join and it should never been entertained by anyone.
2245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 30, 2019, 11:23:15 AM
I think, buying Crypto is like gambling ?
Not necessarily. Buying crypto is called investing. Gambling and investing differes in many ways. First way: gambling requires pure luck while investment requires knowledge and patience. Second way: gambling is risker than investing. Third way: you can double your money in gambling and lose it too within a minute while in investing, you have to wait for weeks/ days/ or months.

Ok so I let me correct myself: Buying famous crypto is not gambling it is investing. Investing in ICO's regarding the reputation and the number of scam + no exchange can be consider as gambling for me.
And in crypto you can win a lot and loose a lot within a minute (pump and dump, manipulation, mistake on an exchange #Etherdelta)

If you consider investing in ICOs as a gambling means that you do it blindly without doing some researches about the project, dont you? If you do it then you may also consider trading as a gambling if you do it blindly. Of course it is your own right to consider what you do as gambling or not, but in general both investing and gambling are completely different although luck might be involved on both activities.

When I invest in ICO's I do some research of course (I invest time in ICO not money  Wink ) but the majority just read the website and trust all the team.
When you trust something and can not be sure if everything is true or false, for me it's gambling.
In every investment you have a part of luck and therefor a part of gambling.

After maybe we do not have the same "gambling" definition. You can make a lot of money with poker and you invest your money... to gamble   Cheesy

I get your point. As you consider investing as gambling since you are risking your money with no guaranteed return. The same as gambling, you gamble hoping to make a profit, with possibilities of losing your money or make money from it.
But let me take you to a way of separating these two.
Investing is an opportunity given to investors to make a profit in either long term or short term. While in gambling, your chance to make a profit is only the game period and also the time when you don't have any more money or what we call game over.
2246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: November 30, 2019, 05:05:44 AM
Many people gamble without thinking and spend all his/her money remember that you spend hours earning that money for your family and also for yourself but our responsibility is bigger(...)
Exactly! And as I also observed some of the people that maybe we can say "below average" people or poor are still gambling, I don't think it will solve their poverty.

And also consider those people who are gambling just to be entertain only. Family first before everything else, you should feed first the family before spending some of your money in a very risky way which is gambling.
This is what I realized after I spend all my money to gambling before, instead of giving support to my family. My mindset before was to gamble to double my money, if I win then that is the time when I will provide support to them. However, instead of winning, I lost so much money.

For now, I prioritize my family before gambling. I only spend a little percentage from my salary to gambling, I even provide support to my family before I gamble to assure that I have something to give to them.
2247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Bought Bitcoin Each Week in 2019, You’d Be up 49% on: November 29, 2019, 01:43:39 PM
Too bad that I just buy Bitcoin randomly and it isn't even like more than 3 times a week because of my finances from my needs. Well regardless of what happens, our investment will go along the flow anyway from that percentage maybe there's a huge gap in between but in the end, the rate of increase would still be somehow a bit same quantity.
Then learn when and what considerations you need to take before buying bitcoin. If you have finances as you said, why don't you take a step further and do not rush in buying. You can try to save your money and wait for this kind of situation, everytime bear market comes, grab the opportunity, it would give you better profit than buying bitcoin at random.
2248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam attempt? Or Nothing to panic? on: November 29, 2019, 01:12:43 PM
I also agree with you, a classic thing that we used to see back then when the exchange wanted to scam their costumers and close their service.
yesterday we heard about a hack on upbit and today we are hearing idax, is it a coincidence?
It's a different matter I think.
The previous issue in upbit is not the same and just a coincidence for me. Basically, the ceo of idax suddenly blocks the withdrawal and it shows clearly their intention to do something terrible towards their users. While in upbit, they release the issue of them being compromised. It's a different matter and should not be included.
2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: November 28, 2019, 02:52:12 PM
just want trying double my money , actually a cold money .
..

Nah, I find this to be a wrong attitude. The right way yo double your money is through hard work or investments, not gambling.

Gambling is for fun, fun and fun. Every other point of view leads to problems.

Yea, using gambling to double your money is not easy and more like a double edge sword. It's risk is way too far to handle. You will only end up in the wrong direction in life.
But there are really some people who do this, I don't know how they can take the risk, butin the end, they do not achieve their goal. They end up losing their money because of greediness. After achieving to double their money, they still continue and expect more winnings.

2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Damaged salary on: November 27, 2019, 12:26:08 PM
Never gamble your whole salary it is not wise enough to do. When you lose everything it feels you are down and cannot move on easily. The decisions to make when at lose do not be desperate instead, plan to move forward and the next time do not gamble if you cannot afford to lose. We know in gambling it’s either you can win or lose, and also luck may come or not in your way.

true  .  this is why there is an advice called gamble only what you can afford  . when you have a good salary earnt from your job , just take only half or amount that you can easily forget whenever you loose  but never ever gamble all of it because you did work hard for that money to earn it and its pretty much weaking if you can loose it all in an instant  . i do also have a job but i dont like to gamble my salary because its only small and my work is tedious  .
Half is too much, I think a little percentage is fine from salary since gambling can be used to make yourself have a fun time.
Of course, OP should have realized that he earned his money through his hard work, and it should be used in his own needs or in his family. Using it only to gambling is not a wise decision.

2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: November 26, 2019, 01:43:27 PM
Can you involve money for you to stop gambling or a gambler can really stop after he promises that if he wins this jackpot he will stop?
This is for the big-time gambler or those who gamble habitually or even those who have the urge to gamble when they have available money.

If I keep on winning the game probably I win not stop playing or gambling because it was a good source of income.
I think i will only stop playing if I don't have any money or bitcoin to bet in the game.
If I win a big amount of money I would probably spend it on a business to get a passive income or probably buy a house and then gamble the other left.

Be careful if you say that gambling can be a good source of income because you will not have a big chance to make money from gambling. You should search for another job so you can use that to make money. If you can stop playing gambling, then you will not have to worry about becoming addicted to gambling because you can control yourself in gambling. Making a business from the money you got in gambling will be a good idea so that you will have a source of income.
I also said that once before. At first I earned decent amount in gambling. But in the end, the result is not the same as I expected. I lost too much instead of winning.

I tend to agree to what you have said, finding a job is way better, actually if you have experience on how hard it is to earn money in real life, you can start to limit yourself of how much you can take to gamble.

2255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: November 26, 2019, 11:33:06 AM
Why do you refuse to face the reality of the present state of the crypto market? I always laugh when I see people still talking about long term hodl when the reality is staring us in the face. Don't be a fool, only the smart are leading the race in the crypto sphere of today. Why do you decide to hodl when you know that the price may dump? Why not sell at the peak and then you can buy back at the bottom. The race is not to the fool but to the wise. Selling at the peak and buying back at bottom is wisdom but holding at the peak expecting a magic spike is foolishness. Bull run is not here yet, do not expect a magic spike. When the bull run is here, you don't need a prophet to tell you that. Be smart.

it's about trust, do you not see the history of the price? the lowest price then goes to the highest price and it keeps repeating it. the current situation indeed tends to decrease, and that's normal,. next year there is a big event of course prices will rise again don't worry. I still believe that the next few years are still good to hold.
Exactly, people who hodl put all their trust alongside with the risk of investing. Even if it takes a few months or years, as long as we have our trust, our expectations will never fail to come.

And back to the main point, many investors tend to hodl for long term to receive maximum profit. There are types of investors and one of them is long term hodler. It is not foolish action, it is also a wise decision where they are free to choose how long they will hodl their investment.

bitcoin is a future investment, can be used throughout the world, the transaction is very safe. so how could they not believe in bitcoin? fluctuation is the attraction of bitcoin to get many advantages in it. the value of bitcoin will continue to grow because of its very limited supply.
That is the thing that they cannot believe in crypto, they just think that it is a bubble that anytime it can disappear. Most of them have a bad experience that's why they have a low level of trust. They can't accept the fact that crypto will continue to grow and increase their prices over time.
2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 26, 2019, 09:26:35 AM
More education for those that knows nothing about it. I know a friend that see crypto as gambling. When you tell, come and invest  in it, he will say, i don't gamble with my money. People like this need more education. Though, i have started educating him on it. I have told benefit which is decentralization. More media preaching coupled with offline teachings should be encouraged as well.
Education will come with interest. As you said, your friend only sees the side of crypto that it is used in gambling. If you at least show him anything about crypto that might have his interest, then he might be interested in learning about it. Even if you tried to educate him his mindset about it will never change unless he let himself to have focus and gain knowledge by his own interest.  An individual will never learn even if you educate them if they are not interested.
2257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How exchanges treat the stolen Money? on: November 25, 2019, 01:07:48 PM
For sure stolen funds normally goes in and out of Binance however no exchanges can detect whether those funds are stolen, but they can only flag stolen funds that are huge with questionable source but for smaller funds consider no chance.
I think if the one who stole the funds will see that they are transferred to the exchange, it is still possible to write to the support service of the exchange and at least freeze the withdrawal of funds.(I have no exact information, it's just my guesses)
You need to have strong evidence for them to happen. Freezing funds can't be executed right after someone reported that the funds in that account were stolen/hacked funds. Also, most of the time, the support team is not responsive so it will take time to reach them and ask you for evidence. If that will happen, the hacker most likely withdraws the funds already.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 25, 2019, 11:44:15 AM
Controlling yourself while gambling is hard, especially if you are enjoying the game from your winnings and if you are experiencing a lose streak that you can't get back all of your lost,
that is obviously Greed is what you are talking about, sometimes the love for money is what brings us failures,so many times that we are already winning but we don't find it enough so the thing is we demand for much more.

No, it is not the love for money, it is the needs and our own mindset of money is all that we need. It drives a person in everything when it comes to money.

that is why a lot of gamblers are greedy and ends up getting addicted to it.
and that is what we need to overcome, not just a controlled mindset but the Lust and Greediness in which part of characteristic and not just an ordinary attitude.
Which is really hard. There are some people who can overcome it, but most of the gamblers, they just end up in the same direction where they will become addicted to it.

I think the best way to control yourself while gambling is by limiting the amount of your money to avoid spending a huge amount of profit and to continue to play.
but if you have no control this is impossible because we will always seek for opportunity to get/provide money to play still.better to prepare our self first before getting into deeper gambling habit.
It will only become possible if there is someone that will guide you and stop you once you can't limit yourself to gambling. Having self-control is hard but with the help of someone dear to you, it will become possible.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 25, 2019, 07:10:52 AM
Online, I'd say crypto. It's easier to just send money to the casino from an exchange. Of course the latter likely also have KYC but when doing stuff online, it's better to not link it directly with your bank account.
Of course, since it is built to make our life easier, and we don't need to take unnecessary actions.
We just have to send our funds in gambling site then after it was confirmed, we can play anytime we want. It is less hassle than to gamble using fiat.
2260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the market goes down remember this... on: November 24, 2019, 11:48:56 AM
Next bottom has to be below $3k, that's what you need to remember.
If it will happen then so be it Cheesy.

I don't care if it goes at that level since I'm a long term holder of Bitcoin although I'm using some of it to buy some of my monthly expenses and needs. I'm ready whatever happens to Bitcoin whether it goes down or goes up Wink

Same here, actually it is a great opportunity for long term holders like us, so even if the price of bitcoin suddenly drops to an expected price, then we can use that chance to invest and wait for more months to harvest our profit.

before we decide to invest in bitcoin then we should know about bitcoin and look for reliable information about bitcoin, so we will know and be ready with all the risks that might occur including when the market goes down
Well, that is what newbies need to do but unfortunately only few of them are doing it. Maybe some of them are just relying to what they know and they are not doing their own research about it.

We know that every market has ups and downs so this is just a normal move for Bitcoin. Bears are in control at this moment that is why we encountered a sudden price drop in Bitcoin.
That is because the common thing that newbie does was to think about how they earn. They will first see if it is effective then they set aside learning and continue what they are doing.

Yes, this is just a normal scenario in the market for a decade, we don't get in here at the same time, but the history repeat itself, so we all have the same expectation when its price will go up and down.
