I think the rush will calm down when people become more savy in spotting shitcoin projects. The concept is so new and there are so many new people rushing to the market that their excitement keeps them from educating themselves and doing the proper research.
With time, no doubt the shitcoins will fail. I think these failures will set a standard of what a good ICO should look like. As mass adoption of crypto increases, so will knowledge of how to evaluate ICOs.

Oh wirklich? Das ist ja eine feine Sache, ich dachte da kämen sogar happige 8% oder sowas um den Dreh noch obendrauf. Also zumindest wenn man bei der Post in Österreich Bitcoins kauft (geht ja auch über BitPanda, soweit ich weiß). Da ich nicht aus Österreich komme, hab ich das nur am Rande mitverfolgt im Juli oder wann das war. Berichtige mich bitte, wenn das so nicht stimmt. |

For me that is the following coins: BTC (afaik will it be the big winner overall), ETH, NEO, BNT, AE. I just listed the ones that I think will appreciate much in 2018, but there are a lot of other coins with hugh potential. I guess the overall rule for long term investments should be if the coin got a real world use case of blockchain technology. If they dont, they most likely wont succeed and if price appreciation happens it will be due to hype and other short term factors.

imho ICOs are a great thing. the model of funding a project / startup is a revolution to the financial world, BUT as it is not regulated at all yet and there are many vaporware projects or even scammers who betray investors (or just people who call themselves like that) for their money. this will definitely come to an end sooner or later when regulators step in, but this doesnt mean that the ICO rush has to stop, it just will be restructured for the good and be more secure for investors. ICO's are here and this crowdfunding model cant just be swiped away as something like this does not exist. even with some bad regulators, it will still find its ways im sure of that!

what makes you think so? i also liked the project at first sight, but stepped away from investing in it because of the ico craze. Ive become more cautious and will wait for the coins to hit the exchanges.

If you are referring to other online education sites, I think the most important thing that differs LiveEdu from them is, that LiveEdu aims the focus on intermediate and advanced learners. Not only beginners as most sites like udemy etc. do. And it dips in new fields for whicht there is not much education about at all to the present (crypto for example). |

Nice read, summing LiveEdu up pretty good! I am so excited about the upcoming streams and videos about Crypto. And am looking forward to find out who is going to be the content creators. One question though, will the crypto focused tutorials mainly focus on technical topics or will they cover the financial side of cryptocurrencies more? |

This is just great! Today I signed up at the already existing! website of LiveEdu https://www.liveedu.tv/ that is running for some time already. They have huge community and a lot of content already and the future looks very promising with the first movers advantage in many topics, including crypto. I am excited and will definitely be one of the first users (viewers) when the new LiveEdu premium projects for these intersting topics launch. The scarcity model of the token is also neat, and if I think of how big the demand for programming, AI, VR and Crypto is going to be in the very near future (look how big it already is), this project is just gonna be huge! |

Hi, also ich kann dir Empfehlen das Whitepaper mal zu lesen, falls dich die Thematik interessiert. Über Datum kann ich jetzt nicht viel sagen, werde mich aber auch mal schlau machen. Protex stellt nach meinem Verständnis keine weitere, sondern DIE einzige Institution der du deine Daten anvertraust dar. Nämlich will Protex die Daten quasi bevor sie von irgendeiner Instanz abgefangen werden können, verschlüsseln und entpersonalisiert auf der Blockchain einlagern und somit quasi dem Nutzer wieder mehr Anonymität und den Unternehmen die diese Daten für Werbezwecke u.Ä. verwenden die Verantwortung eventueller Datenschutzverstöße nehmen. Also ein Win-Win. Was ich allerdings auch noch nicht so ganz verstanden habe ist, wie Protex es verhindern will, dass sich Unternehmen (google etc.) diese Daten nicht trotzdem selbst beschaffen, da man ja deren Services nutzt. Beziehungsweise wie Protex unterbinden will, dass Webseiten Daten, Vorlieben, Surfgewohnheiten etc. sammeln. Man stimmt ja quasi mit der Nutzung der Seite, dieser "Nacktheit" zu, oder man entscheidet sich dafür entsprechende Seiten (wobei es ja fast alle tun) zu vermeiden. Über ein paar Gedanken oder die Meinung von jemandem der sich auf dem Gebiet auskennt wäre ich dankbar.

Nein, eben nicht. Die Märkte sind nicht mehr so naiv wie im Mai/Juni, als einfach alle Cryptos stiegen, nur WEIL sie eben Cryptos sind. Nicht HODL bis zum Kapital-Exitus. Nicht sehenden Auges in die Katastrophe. Ich habe auch 1k€ in RDD gesteckt. 700 konnte ich noch rausziehen, und in BTC stecken, und das war richtig, denn damit habe ich eine gescheite Coin und den Verlust mehr als ausgeglichen. Wenn du zocken willst, kauf Airdrop-Ramsch billig auf. Viele Leute verschleudern ihre Airdrop-Coins für einen Fuffi oder so (wenn überhaupt). Wenn du Glück hast, landet der Coin/Token irgendwann bei CMC und auf neuen Exchanges... was dann im besten Fall passieren kann, hat ja eBTC bewiesen... Ja, das nicht mehr alles so steigt wie zu Beginn dieses Jahres ist klar, allerdings bin ich trotzdem der Meinung, dass in diesem Space scheiße oft zu Gold wird. Kommt nur auf entsprechendes Marketing an. Aber deine Entscheidung aus RDD zu flüchten war sicher eine gute! Ich habe mit "Menge" auch nur an die 10k RDD gemeint. Was dürften die jetzt Wert sein? So 10USD?  also werde ich die weiterhodln und mal schauen, vielleicht gibt es ja nächstes Jahr einen Boom, dessen Ausmaße wir uns jetzt noch nicht wirklich vorstellen können und dann freut man sich wenn aus 10USD vielleicht ja doch 1000USD werden. Wie leicht wäre euer Geld weg, wenn es so einfach wäre das alles zurück zu setzen. Wenn zb der Zugriff auf die Email-adresse only es ermöglicht, das ganze Konto zu übernehmen. Ohne das jemand nachfragt, wird jede weiter Sicherheitsmassnahme zurück gesetzt.
Da ist es mir schon lieber, wenn dann doppelt genau geprüft wird und ich deswegen etwas aufwand habe. aber dafür habe ich Sicherheit.
Stimmt schon, allerdings war Bittrex einfach sehr, sehr lahm mit der Bearbeitung dieser Geschichte. Ich habe alle angeforderten Unterlagen etc. unmittelbar eingereicht und durfte dann ewig warten... |
